일반적으로 와 전류를 포함하는 자계의 특성 해명은 실험적으로 검증하는 것이 곤란한 이유로 유한 요소 법 또는 경계 요소 법등의 수치 해석 법에 의존하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 그러한 실험적 검증의 어려움을 극복하기 위해 전압 강하의 원리를 이용한 탐심 법을 이용, 와 전류의 계측을 수행하고 있다.

Brushless do motors have been replacing brush type motors in machine tool and robotics applications over the last number of years This Paper deals with the design and application of the slot-less permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The slot-less PMSM eliminates rotational cogging torque due to permanent magnet preferred positions decreases core loss and thus increases efficiency, provides excellent torque-to-volume and power-to-volume ratios, and has a linear current versus torque relation. The PMSM with slot-less stator is designed and manufactured, which will be used for high speed and high efficiency application such a medical instruments.

This paper presents a design and characteristics analysis of a SRM drive for EPS application. A rack mounted EFS system is considered in this paper. A conventional driving room space and mechanical structure are suggested in design stage. In the restricted design conditions, motor parameters are determined for sufficient torque and speed. For the smooth torque generation and simple circuit of power system, 12/8 motor drive is considered. With FEM and magnetic circuit analysis designed motor is simulated to meet the requirement of specifications. Effectiveness of the suggested SRM drive for EPS application is verified by the manufactured prototype motor drive tests.

In a switched reluctance motor drive, it is important to synchronize the stator phase excitation with the rotor position, because the position of rotor is an essential information. In the high-speed region, switching angles are fluctuated back and forth out of the preset value, which is caused by the sampling period of the microprocessor. In this paper, a low cost analog encoder suitable for practical applications is proposed. The validity of the proposed analog encoder with a proper logic controller is verified from the experiments.

일반적으로 PMDC모터에 사용되는 자석은 가격과 재질에 따라서 여러 가지로 분류할 수 있다. 그러나 착자방법에는 등방향과 방사형 착자로 나눌 수 있고 용도에 따라서 다극으로 착자할 수 있다. 하지만 그 기본적인 구조에는 원통형, 판형, 육면체형으로 분류할 수 있는데 구형, 반구형 또는 구형 shell에 관한한 아직까지 소개된 문헌이 빈약하다. 본 논문에서는 슬롯리스 구형직류모터에 사용될 반구형 shell형태의 영구자석의 착자기 구조와 착자방법에 대한 가능성을 찾아보고 이론적으로 증명하고자 한다.

유도성 기동 영구자석 전동기의 경우 고효율성 및 자기동성으로 인해 현재 산업계에서 많이 사용되고 있는 유도기를 대체할 가능성이 크다. 정상 상태에서는 영구자석 동기 전동기로 작동하며 기동시에는 유도바의 역할로 유도기로서 동기화에 이르게 된다. 이때, 적절한 설계가 이루어지지 않으면 기동 또는 동기화에 실패할 수 있으므로 기동시의 과도특성 해석은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 기계 방정식과 결합된 유한요소해석 프로그램을 이용하여 전동기의 기동 및 동기화 특성을 해석하고자 한다. 해석의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 시험용 전동기를 제작하고 과도 상태 시험을 수행하여 해석결과와 비교한다.

In this paper the instantaneous thrust of a linear induction motor(LIM) with cage-type secondary is estimated by the line voltages and phase currents measurement when the LIM is fed by PWM inverter. The estimated thrust values according to various input frequencies are compared with the measured ones.

The speed-torque characteristics of the squirrel cage induction motor is determined by the rotor resistance. This paper presents the fabrication and test results of an HTS induction motor. Conventional end rings and short bars were replaced with HTS tapes in the rotor. Test result shows that the speeds of the HTS induction motor were the same with synchronous speed and the starting torque was about 19Nm.

This paper Presents an effective modeling scheme of high temperature superconducting transformer. So far there were numerical modeling and designs for conventional transformers for various applications. Recently, the interest and the R&D in superconducting technology and devices such as superconducting generator, motor, cable, fault current limiter and transformer have been increased gradually. With those interests, this paper proposes a simulation model of high temperature superconducting transformer using PSCAD/EMTDC, which can be applied to the utility network simulation readily under various system conditions.

An electric propulsion system integrated with the ship service distribution system offers the naval architect considerable flexibility, and often the choice of a more affordable ship to acquire and operate as compared to a segregated mechanical drive option. United States of America navy announced in 2000 that they selected the electric propulsion system on next generation warship. Specially there is excellent advantages in superconductivity motors which can have higher efficiency, less vibration and noise, smaller dimensions compared with the conventional motors. The 5 MW HTS motor for warship test of electric propulsion was developed and tested. Also it was contracted between AMSC and United States of America navy to develop a 36.5 MW HTS motor in 3 years since March 3, 2003. This paper deals with the technical development tendency of HTS motors in foreign countries as well as in domestic, and it is focused on the application of HIS motors to the electrical propulsion system.

Nowaday it is trend to be one cooling radiator and cooling fan from separate engine radiator and air condition radiator in cars. For the cooling fan is developed a electrical motor which is limited in size. The motor should be working in silence and have no electromagnetic Problem and high efficiency. In this paper will be proposed some parameters for improvement of the efficiency of a BLDC motor which is developed for the cooling system after theoretical and experimental investigation.

수직 기록 방식은 그 기록 방식의 차이로 인하여 수평 기록 방식에서 쓰여 오던 Write Head의 Design을 적용하였을 경우 기록 밀도를 높이는데 많은 문제점과 낮은 기록 밀도 상승률을 동반하게 된다. 따라서 수직 기록 방식의 자기 기록에서는 수직 기록 방식에 적합한 Write Head의 Design을 적용하여야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 유한요소법을 이용하여 수직 기록용 Write Head의 한 종류인 SPT Head(Single Pole Tip Head)를 최적 설계하여 그 Write Field의 특성을 분석 제시하였다. 또한 기록 Media의 차이에 따른 기록 특성을 분석하기 위하여 기존 Single Layer 방식과 SUL (Soft Magnetic Under layer)를 사용한 Double Layer 방식을 이용하였을 경우 SUL이 자기 기록에 미치는 영향에 대한 내용을 연구 분석하여 제시하였다.

This paper presents characteristics analysis of brushless DC motor(BLDCM) which driven by two types of PWM mode. The phase current and torque ripples are generated differently at each PWM mode. So they have a different influence on motor characteristics. In this paper, we have analyzed characteristics of BLDCM using time-stepped voltage source finite element method. The effect of two types of PWM mode had been confirmed by comparing each phase current and torque ripple waveform. The compared simulation result is useful to select a better PWM mode.

It is indispensable to compensate the switching characteristic variation of circuit breakers in use due to the change of operating conditions in order to get the reliable performance of controlled switching. In this paper the compensation measures against main factors such as temperature, control voltage, idle time and operating number are described. And the performance of the proposed measure is verified through the experimental results.

The Synchronous inductance in Synchronous Reluctance Motor is an element that is proportional to torque. the exact value must be found for controlling and the performance development of motors. In this paper, the inductances that are obtained by the Finite Element Method and AC standstill Test are compared each other. When controlling the direct torque. the fast response characteristics has been carried out with the inductace by the AC stanstill Test. To test the proposal controller, A Synchronous Reluctance Motor has been designed and manufactured and the adequacy of the proposal control are confirmed thought simulations and experiments.

The natural element method is a kind of meshless Galerkin method. The shape function is derived from the natural neighbor coordinates interpolation scheme. Natural neighbor shape functions are
$C^0$ everywhere, except the nodes where they are$C^0$ . The numerical integration is carried out using the Delaunay triangles as the background cells. The method is applied to the test problems and simulation results show that the natural element method can give accurate solutions for the electromagnetic field problems. -
본 연구는 탐지대상물체의 형상인식이 가능한 비접촉, 원격 탐지장치의 개발에 관한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 2극 또는 4극의 정자기장을 인가할 때 탐지대상 물체에 의한 자기장의 자계 왜곡을 홀 센서로 감지하여 탐지 대상 물체를 인식하는 원격 감지 시스템을 설계하고 제작하여 특성을 분석한 결과 2극과 4극 시스템 모두 비 투자율의 변화를 감지 할 수 있었고, 특히 탐사물체의 위치 파악에는 2극 시스템이 4극 시스템에 비하여 좋은 특성을 보였다.

In a motor drive, the current rating is directly related to the rating of a switching device, and the parallel switching operation for a cost reduction is the alternatives because it has the smaller current rating through current division. There are many investigations for the parallel switching operations to equaling the current division. However it remains many problems for practical usage. This paper proposes a new parallel operation which uses a parallel phase winding to remove the traditional effect of switching device such as saturation voltage according to the division of current. The proposed strategy is verified by theoretical and experimental verification.

Switched reluctance machine has much attention because of high efficiency, high power and DC series torque characteristics with a traction drive. But the motor has to have a regenerative mode when it is adopted in an electric vehicle. A current divergence during the regeneration makes difficulties in the control of SRM. This paper proposes a reference current limitation strategy for a stable regeneration based on simulations and experimental tests. The motor is operated with conventional current limit and switching angle control method in motoring mode. Simulations and experiments are executed to verify proposed method.

유도전동기의 가변속 구동시스템에서 자속 축 기준제어를 이용하는 경향이 증가하고 있으며 설치환경, 가격 등의 제약으로 인하여 위치 및 속도센서가 없는 센서리스 속도제어가 많이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문은 유도전동기의 센서리스 제어에 관한 연구로서 과도상태에서 슬라이딩모드 관측기를 사용함으로써 속응성이 빠르고 파라미터의 변동에 강인하며, 정상상태에서는 적응상태관측기를 사용함으로써 채터링을 감소하는 센서리스 제어를 제시한다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험결과에서 과도상태와 정상상태에서 양호한 성능을 나타내었다.

In this paper, an active magnetic bearing-based motor-generator(M-G) system is designed and controlled using a digital PID control concept. The plant dynamics consisting of actuator and rigid rotor dynamics are described. And some experiments are conducted with each global control and local control concept. From the whirl test, the M-G set can be controlled within about
${\pm}10{\mu}m$ gap variation at the rotational speed of 6000rpm. -
최근 전력계통에 연결된 비선형 장치가 부하의 큰 부분을 차지하고 있다. 비선형 장치는 계통전류에 고조파를 발생시키고 기본파 전류에 의한 도체 손실에 고조파 전류손이 더해져서 도체의 온도를 상승시킨다. 도체의 온도 상승에 관한 연구는 주로 정현파 60Hz 전류에 기초해서 통전 용량을 계산하고 그에 따른 손실을 계산하였다. 본 논문에서는 GIS 모선에 고조파 전류가 포함되는 경우 고조파의 영향에 따른 통전 용량을 계산한다. 즉, GIS 모선에 주파수의 영향에 따른 손실비를 구하고, 유한 요소 해석을 통해 계산된 GIS 모선의 고조파에 따른 손실값을 정현파 60Hz 전류일 때에 계산된 손실값과 비교한다. 이 결과는 GIS 모선의 정확한 통전용량을 예측하는데 사용될 것이다.

In case contact between point of contacts is not achieved well, contact resistance is grown, and by current concentration at current conducting contacts can weld. In order to decrease contact resistance between contacts in case of busbar, installing spring between fixed contact and moving contact. and then force on faying surface of contacts increase and contact resistance decrease. But, in case increase force of spring to widen contact area, operating force moving contact can grow, on the contrary force of spring is small, contact resistance becomes low. Therefore, need to optimize force and number of spring. position, and also need to examine force change on contact surface at point of contact moving. In this paper, dynamic kinetics analysis for force on faying surface of contacts is performed at unsteady state. It is showed to not uniform force on surface between contacts, and we can got more uniform force by means of change spring position.

본 논문에서는 펄스파워를 발생시키기 위한 에너지 저장장치의 하나로, 최근 국내외에서 사용이 증가하고 있는 고전압 커패시터에 대하여 금속증착기술의 적용, 절연설계, 체부도 및 단말부 처리기술 등에 의한 고에너지밀도화 기술과 활용 분야에 대하여 소개하고자 한다. 특히, 최근 국산화 개발에 성공한 펄스파워용 고전압 고에너지밀도 커패시터에 대하여 선진 외국사 제품과의 비교를 통해 국내 기술 수준을 살펴보고, 펄스파워용 커패시터의 고에너지밀도화에 대한 전망과 시장 규모 등에 대하여도 기술하고다 한다.

SRM has a characteristic of a robust, simple structure and wide operating ranges. So, recently it has studied and developed in many kinds and forms with the technology of power electronics and analysis and design by use of computer. Also, It is used in a very wide range of industrial applications. In particular, single phase switched reluctance motor has a merit in practical use because it has simple operating drives and control systems, very high energy density per unit volume comparing with three phase SRM. But it must have a starting device. In this paper design procedures of single phase SRM development for blower drives are presented. It is selected the design parameters by compared with design theory of general electric machine and poly phase SRM. Also it is simulated the designed prototype model by FEM for the prediction of characteristics.

Disk type Single Phase SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor) can be used axial direction magnetic flux and radial direction magnetic flux. In this paper, the flux linkage was measured according as rotor positions of disk-tyre single phase SRM, which is designed and manufactured in previous research. From the measured data, we got the magnetization curves, inductance profile and Co-energy.

The study for improvement of power qualify is widely performed, because most equipments used semi-conductor are very sensitive for power quality. In this paper, we performed modeling for STATCOM system which developed using SCRs, and suggested the compensation principle of reactive Power by simulations used PSIM software. We will apply this results to 30kVA STATCOM under manufacturing.

Recently, the generators for wind turbine have been manufactured with high output power such like MW class machine in order to reduce the generation cost and to increase the energy efficiency. At the same time, direct-driven generators for wind turbine have been developed and researched, which have easy maintenance and high efficiency by simplification the system through the removal of the gear box. In this paper, at first, the advantage and disadvantage between the direct-driven generator system and conventional indirect-driven system are compared. And secondly, the permanent magnet generator (PMG) for wind turbine has been rapidly improved to cope with the recent trend which requires the high power output Per one machine and the convenience for maintenance, and the PMG is adequate for direct driven system and suitable for high-efficiency and light weight. So, the characteristics and technical trend of the PMG for wind turbine is examined. At last, a suitable technical trend for development of the permanent magnet generator for wind turbine is proposed.

In this paper, we study about the stator winding magnetization method and the magnetizing fixture magnetization method in post-assembly magnetization. Most of small electrical machine use the stator winding magnetization method but it is impossible to magnetize the permanent magnet by the stator winding magnetization method when the capacity of machine increases and the coercive force of magnet increases. And the eddy current disturbs the magnetization seriously in case of LSPM(Line Start Permanent magnet Motor) that have conductor bar in rotor. Hence, the magnetization fixture is required. So, in this paper we study about the post-assembly magnetization method that can use the stator winding magnetization method or must use the magnetization fixture magnetization method.

Single phase induction motor is directly used usual source, it can be a source of an appliance such as mechanical fan, refrigerator, washing machine, etc. Especially capacitor-run single phase induction motor is suitable to make more inexpensive and high efficient products because it is more high efficiency, and good to start than other single phase induction motors. Generally, voltage and current of capacitor-run single phase induction motor transfer to the part of positive phase and negative phase based on two motor theory. In this paper, we simulate the torque characteristics to capacitance variation from single phase induction motor's equivalent circuit. Through the test using the real motor, we compare and investigate the maximum torque of run state related with capacitance and the adequacy of the converted model.

Electric control of eddy coupling offers many new possibilities in process control and other industrial control applications. And a form of speed control for the load is affected for a system driven by costant frequency induction motor. This paper analysis speed-torque characteristic of the eddy-current coupling by using the 3-dimensional analytical method. Characteristic experiment is put into operation for the claw pole type eddy current coupling. Design procedure is presented based on the analysis.

Recently, many linear motion generators and are rapidly finding applications that ranges from short stroke linear motion vibrators, such as dynamic cone type loud speakers tostirling engine driven linear reciprocatings, alternators, compressors, textile machines etc. In this paper the dynamic performance with load is computed by a general purpose method, which the equation of electromagnetic field, the equation of electric circuit and the equation of motion are coupled together. We fumed out the driving system and the dynamic characteristics of current, voltage and displacement is confirmed experiment.

The Slotless Permanet-magnet linear synchronous motors (PMLSM) have been developed for factory automation, transportation applications, wafer steppers, conveyance system, and so on[1]. The current analysis and design are treated in air-cored PMLSM. The main purpose of this paper is to provide a general design and analysis framework for the iron-cored linear permanent-magnet machines. Based on field solution using two dimensional analytical technique the magnetic field required magnet volume size, optimal winding thickness size, winding flux linkage and thrust will be discussed.

In the machine tool industry, direct drive linear motor technology is of increasing interest as a means to achieve high acceleration, and to increase reliability [1]. In this paper, we analyze and compare the characteristics of tubular motor with halbach and vertical magnet array respectively. We derive magnetic field solutions due to the PMs and to the currents. Motor thrust is then derived. The results are shown in good conformity with those obtained from the commonly used finite element method.

This paper deals with the magnetic field analysis and compution of cogging torque using an analytical method in high speed brushless motor/generator. The magnetic field is analyzed by solving space harmonics field analysis due to magnetizing distribution and the cogging torque is analyzed by combining field analysis with relative permeance.

Brake forces due to eddy-currents induced by the relative motion of a conductor and a magnetic devices: motors, brakes and magnetically levitated vehicles. In particular, the practicality of using permanent magnet in eddy-current brakes system is obviously recent, due to the manifold improvement in magnet materials and technology. For such a system we give analytical formulas considering eddy-current distribution as variables: flux density for each region and forces.

Transport system is comprised of a number of advanced technologies, including information processing, communications, control, and electronics. Recently many research on a system which provides contact in order to protect driver's vehicle passage have been carried out. And some potential problems from that system are being reviewed by electronic cash system. In this papers, we suggest RF protocol developing technology using the concept of electronic cash. ATM electronic cash developing is consist of component of pre-developed coin throw, integration of component using its, and production of more requirement-satisfactory ITS solution. Result increase 15-40% pre-type vehicles stagnations. Especially, we expect this proposed concept would be well adapted to our national environments

In this paper, a design of VCM(Voice Coil Motor) for the measurement system of nano-level force and displacement was proposed and developed. This paper present the VCM shape for improvement of position resolution and guarantee of a large displacement. And then the finite element analysis method(FEM) utilized to produce linear driving thrust and satisfy required thrust of the system. The result shows the applicable possibility of the proposed VCM as a study for nano-level measurement system.

Small impedances in the superconducting Parallel circuits cause unequal distribution of the currents in the circuits. This results in Quenches or losses in some superconducting parts. This paper presents the fabrication and test results of a multi-interphase transformers (IPT) for equal current distribution in parallel circuits. Test results show that the IPT can effectively make the current distribution uniform in parallel circuits that have unequal resistances.

In this paper, wind power system with direct-driven axial-flux type permanent-magnet (PM) synchronous generator, 10 [kVA], 300 [rpm], is presented. In order to analyze the performance of axial PM generator, finite-element (FE) analysis is used, and the 2-dimensional equivalent model is developed. The steady-state and transient-state characteristics are respectively analyzed at no-load and resistive-inductive loads. The test results of driving characteristics are presented as well. The results are very similar to predicted performance of design. Proposed generator is feasible for use with a small-class wind power applications.

AC 부하를 갖는 동기전동기에 있어서, 동기전동기의 속도리플을 저감시키기 위한 문제를 풀기위해 3가지 제어기법에 대해 비교를 한 후 가장 강인한 제어기법에 대해 분석하였다. AC 부하를 갖는 특별한 제어 대상으로 엑스선 전산화 단층촬영 장치(CT)용 겐트리를 선정하였으며 시스템이 갖는 특별한 구조에 의해 이러한 시스템 특성을 갖는다. 동기전동기의 출력 축에 링(Fing) 모양의 원판 프레임을 갖으며, 이 원판 표면에 무게가 서로 다른 여러 장치(X_선 튜브, X-선 검출기, 고압발생장치, DAS 장치, 온도조절장치 등)를 부착하여 영상 획득 시스템의 회전부를 구축하기 때문이다. 이러한 시스템에서는 무게 평형을 갖지 못하는 편심 무게가 존재하게 되며 이로써 전동기 관점에서는 AC 부하처럼 인식되는 제어 조건으로 인식 될 수 있다. AC 부하를 갖는 동기전동기에 대해 일반적인 벡터제어 알고리즘으로 제어를 수행하면 정상상태에서도 속도 오차가 "0" 으로 줄어들지 않고 AC 형태의 오차 성분이 존재하며 편심 무게의 크기에 비례하여 진폭이 커지는 특성을 갖는다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 Sine파 보상전류를 갖는 속도제어기법, 펀심부하토크 관측기를 이용한 속도제어기법, 그리고 기준모델제어기법을 소개하였다. 각 방법에 대한 실험 결과로부터 편심무게의 변동과 편심 위치의 변동 조건에서 기준모델제어기법이 강인한 제어 특성과 리플저감 측면에서 가장 우수함을 검증하였다. 이로써 AC 부하 조건에서 고정도 속도 제어기가 요구되는 경우 좋은 선택의 지침이 될 수 있다고 본다.

3상 4레그(leg) VSI(Voltage Source Inverter)는 독립된 3개의 출력전압을 합성할 수 있다. 따라서 전압 합성에 있어서 3개의 자유도를 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 3상 4레그 VSI를 위한 PWM방법에 대해서 설명한다. 3상 4레그 VSI를 위한 기존의 PWM기술은 3-D SVPWM으로 그 구현 방법에 있어서 많은 양의 계산과 테이블을 필요로 하였다. 하지만, 본 논문에서 제안 한 방법은 3상 3레그 VSI경우에 적용되었던 옵셋(offset) 전압의 개념을 사용한다. 또한 단일 반송파를 이용하여 폴(Pole)전압과 비교함으로써 PWM을 구현하기 때문에 그 적응이 매우 간단하다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 3-D SVPWM과 제안한 방법이 해석적으로 동일한 방법임을 증명하였으며, 3상 4레그 VSI에서 합성가능한 3자유도의 전압범위를 계산하였다. 마지막으로 이를 실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

This paper presents the loss analysis of Phase-Shift Full-Bridge Converter. Full-Bridge DC/DC Converter presented in this paper used a phase shift control in the primary side to achieve ZVS (Zero-Voltage-Switching) for main switch. Phase-Shaft Full-Bridge converter have an effect on the high power system. This paper analyses the loss of each component and the various losses in the circuit assessed. The result of the analysis are verified using 2.5kW, 50kHz prototype.

Over the past several years, the application extent of the real-time systems is being expanded with the progress of civilization. In this paper, a PWM Buck-Boost AC-AC converter for improvement of power quality of custom power is presented. The PWM Buck-Boost AC-AC converter is modelled by using circuit DQ transformation whereby the design guideline is obtained. Based on the analysis, the converter system is implemented with the design criteria and the experimental results show the validity of modelling and analysis.

Among low power servo applications, classical DC motors are very popular because they are reasonably cheap and easy to control. The main disadvantage is the mechanical collector which has only a limited life period. Also, brush sparking can destroy the rotor coil, generate EMC problems. So permanent magnet brushless do motors and drives are being used increasingly in a wide range of applications. This has been made possible with the advantages of high performance permanent magnets with high coercively and residual magnetic, which make it possible for the PM to have superior power density, torque to inertia ratio and efficiency, when compared to an induction or conventional dc machine. This paper presents the design of a PM brushless dc motor drive simplistically operates as a classical dc motor. The BLDC motor drive system for this paper composes to the power integrated circuits, the one chip device. And several simple semiconductors add to drive system for a motor drive system simplistically operates as a conventional dc motor. Test results confirmed the feasibility of the proposed motor drive system design.

This paper presents a new velocity estimation strategy of a non-salient permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) drive without high frequency signal injection or special PWM pattern. This approach is based on the d-axis current regulator output voltage of the drive system which has the information of rotor position error. The rotor velocity can be estimated through a rotor position tracking PI controller that controls the position error to aero. For zero and low speed operation, the PI gains of rotor position tracking controller have a variable structure. The PI tuning formulas are derived by analyzing this control system using the frequency domain specifications such as phase margin and bandwidth assignment.

Conventional P/PI speed controller of today's servo drives should be manually tuned the controller switching set-point by trial-and-errors, which may translate the drive system down-time and loss of productivity. The adjustable drive performance is heavily dependent on the qualify of the expert knowledge and becomes inadequate in applications where the operating conditions change in a wide range, i.e., tracking command, cceleration/deceleration time, and load disturbances. In this paper, the demands on simple controls/setup are discussed for industry servo drives. Analyzing the frequency content of motor torque command, P/PI control mode switching is automatically peformed with some prior knowledge of the mechanical dynamics. The dynamic performance of the proposed scheme assures a desired tracking response curve with minimal oscillation and settling time over the whole operating conditions. For comprehensive comparison of traditional P/PI control scheme, extensive test is carried out on actual servo system.

This paper presents an optimal tuning method of the decentralized PI controller of two-input, two-output(TITO) second order system to be formulated as LQR. The tuning method of proposed decentralized PI controller is developed by establishing the relationships between the closed-loop state equation including decentralized PI control factors and the closed-loop state equation of LQR, which can be guaranteed the performance and stability-robustness by selecting the weighting factors Q and R of the cost function in order to satisfy design specifications in frequency domain.

The traction drive system for the urban transit Rubber-tire system is described in this paper. To control the magnitude and frequency of the output voltage of induction motor transiently, the vector control strategy is generally used. But in case of the traction drive system for the railway vehicle, it is difficult to use the vector control caused by the one-pulse mode in the high speed region. Therefore, this paper proposes the control strategy combined the vector control in the low speed region and the slip frequency control in the high speed region. And also, the overmodulation PWM method is discussed to make the change to the one-pulse mode softly. The performance of the Proposed traction drive system is verified by the MATLAB simulation results.

This paper presents an improved droop method of the high voltage DC power supply which minimizes the voltage droop of a parallel-connected power supply. Conventionally, the droop method has been used to achieve a simple structure and no-interconnections among the power sources. However, it has a trade-off between output voltage regulation and load sharing accuracy. In this paper, the droop is minimized with a current and droop gain control using steady-stage estimation. The proposed method can achieve both high performance voltage regulation and load sharing. Two 10kV, 100mA parallel power modules were made and tested to verify the proposed current-sharing method.

The performance of active power filter depends on the inverter characteristic, the control method, and the accuracy of reference signal generator. The accuracy of reference generator is the most critical item to determine the performance of active power filter. This paper introduces a novel reference signal generator composed of improved adaptive predictive filter. The performance of proposed reference signal generator was verified by means of simulation with MATLAB. The simulation result confirm that the proposed reference signal generator can be utilized for the active power filter.

In this paper, Inverter drives adopting 2 phase space vector SRP-PWM (Separately Randomized Pulse Position PWM) with fixed switching frequency is proposed. The proposed 2 phase space vector SRP-PWM scheme is based on the 3 phase SRP-PWM. In the proposed SRP-PWM scheme, each of two phase pulses is located randomly in each switching interval. The experimental results show that the voltage and acoustic noise harmonics are spread to a wide band area. Also, the performance of the proposed 2 phase SRP-PWM and the conventional center aligned SVM are compared to each other. In resuit, the speed response is nearly simitar to each other from the viewpoint of the v/f constant control.

This paper presents a new hybrid control method of asymmetrical/symmetrical half-bridge converter (AHBC/SHBC) with low voltage stress of the diodes. The proposed new control scheme is executed by using feedback of the input voltage and then can decide operation of the converter is divided into two ranges, which are asymmetrical control and symmetrical control, So the proposed control scheme has many advantages such as a low rated voltage of the secondary diodes, and low conduction loss according to the low voltage drop. The proposed control scheme is verified by simulated results.

Single phase induction motor(SPIM) is one of the most widely used type of low power AC motors in the world, especially for domestic or commercial applications where a three phase power supply is not available. Fractional horse power of the SPIM have no starting torque their own. So there are several ways of starting SPIMS. The most common type is the starting capacitor installed in series with the auxiliary winding to increase the starting torque. Also, the auxiliary winding is disconnected once the speed of the motor reaches 70 to 80 [%] of the rated speed. In the conventional systems, this function is conducted by a centrifugal switch. But the mechanical centrifugal switch has many problems such as switch malfunction. This paper presents the starter design of SPIM capacitor starting switch using microcontroller.

In this paper, a new control scheme of Class-E inverter for reducing the crest factor of electronic ballasts for fluorescent lamps using Pulse-Frequency-Modulation (PFM) is introduced The lifetime of the lamps is guaranteed by decreasing the lamp crest factor and voltage stress of the switch is significantly decreased by a new scheme although conventional Class-E inverter is used in this paper The proposed PFM control scheme doesn't used any auxiliary circuit. The proposed control strategy is executed by feeding back the input current. and the Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) is ensured by operating beyond resonant frequency. Therefore, the control principles of proposed method are explained in detail and its validity is verified through several simulated results.

이 논문은 이중 출력과 단일 역률 적용에 대한 하나의 전력단 회로를 사용한 새로운 정류기를 나타낸다. 제안된 정류기는 부스트와 플라이백 컨버터가 결합된 하나의 전력단 회로를 갖는 구조를 가지고 있고, PFC(power factor correction) 와 일정 출력 전압 제어를 동시에 수행한다. 따라서, 제안된 정류기는 전형적인 AC/DC 정류기들(멀티 권선을 갖는 플라이 백 정류기, 투 스테이지 방식을 사용한 부스트와 플라이백 컨버터가 결합된 정류기 등등)보다 낮은 비용과 작은 사이즈의 장점을 갖는다. 제안된 정류기 회로의 동자 원리는 본 논문에서 상세하게 기술 되어진다. 그리고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 정류기의 타당성을 증명하였다.

Sensorless Vector control of the permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) typically requires knowledge of the PMSM structure and parameters, which in some situations are not readily available or may be difficult to obtain. In this paper, by measuring the currents of the PMSM drive, a neural-network-based rotor position and speed estimation method for PMSM is described. Because the proposed estimator treats the estimated motor speed as the weights, it is possible to estimate motor speed to adapt back propagation algorithm with 2 layered neural network. The proposed control algorithm is applied to PMSM drive system. The operating characteristics controlled by neural networks control are examined in detail.

This paper is proposed to position and speed control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) drive without mechanical sensor. A minimum order state observer is used for the mechanical state estimation of the motor. The observer was developed based on nonlinear model of IPMSM, that employs a d-q rotating reference frame attached to the rotor. A minimum order state observer is implemented to compute the speed and Position feedback signal. The validity of the proposed sensorless scheme is confirmed by various response characteristics.

This paper has a control method proposed for the effective self-tuning fuzzy speed control based on neural network of the induction motor indirect vector control. The vector control of an induction motor provides the decoupled control of the rotor flux magnitude and the torque producing current to performance is desirable. But, the drive performance often degrades for the machine parameter variations and its condition give rise to coupling of flux and torque current. The fuzzy speed control of an induction motor has the robustness about machine parameter variations compared with conventional PID speed control in a way. That proved to be some waf from the true. The purpose of this paper is to improve the adaptation by offering self-turning function to fuzzy speed controller. In this paper, the adaptive mechanism of fuzzy speed control in used ANN(Artificial Neural Network) technique is applied in an IFO induction machine drive, such that the machine can follow a reference model (an ideal field oriented machine) to achieve desired speed. In this paper proved the self-turning method of fuzzy controller has the robustness about parameter variation and the wide range of adaptation by simulation.

This paper is a studying of the vector control of AC servo motor using a high performance DSP(TMX320F2812). This DSP has many special peripheral circuits to drive a AC Servo motor as AD converter, QEP and so on. It makes us reduce the time of developing a control system and also can be simple size controller. We use vector control algorithm for instantaneous torque control and SVPWM algorithm by offset voltage methods.

In this paper, a new active snubber circuit that overcomes most of the drawbacks of the normal "zero voltage transition pulse width modulation" (ZVT-PWM) converter is proposed to contrive a new family of ZVT- PWM converter. A converter with the proposed snubber circuit can also operate at light load conditions. A design procedure of the proposed active snubber circuit is also presented. Additionally, at full output power in the proposed soft switching converter, the main switch loss is about 27[%] and the total circuit loss is about 36[%] of that in its counterpart hard switching converter, and so the overall efficiency, which is about 91[%] in the hard switching case, increases to about 97[%].

A sterilizer equipment by using electrical energy has merits that no process of chemical and no second environmental pollution. Also, the power conversion circuit for sterilizer equipment has merits that are reducing switching loss for soft switching topology by using zero current and zero voltage switching, and miniaturizing size of equipment. Thus, it is expected that the cost of sterilization process, when quality of the device is measured by power consumption, will be reduced. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to solve the sterilization problems of existing powder with plasma sterilization device, to find more economical and effective way, and to suggest more improved sterilizer.

A study on the characteristics of power factor correction circuits with input active boost converterSwitching power supplies are widely used in many industrial fields. Power factor correction(PFC) circuits have tendency to be applied in new power supply designs. The input active power factor correction(APFC) circuits can be implemented using either the two-stage approach or the single-stage approach. The single-stage PFC circuit has advantage to reduce the number of components by eliminating a need for the PFC switch and control circuit. However, unlike in the two-stage approach, the do voltage on the energy storage capacitor in a single-stage PFC circuit is not well regulated. As a result. in universal line application(
$90{\sim}265Vac$ ), the storage capacitor voltage varies with the load and line variation. In this paper, the performance of output voltage regulation and transient response are clarified here. The validity of designed boost PFC circuit is confirmed by MATLAB simulation and experimental results of 2 [kW] prototype converter. -

This paper presents a zero voltage and zero current switching (ZVZCS) interleaving two-transistor forward converter for high input voltage and high power application. A phase shift has a disadvantage that a circulating current and RMS current stress, conduction losses of transformer and switching devices increases. Due to this circulating current and RMS current stress, conduction losses of transformer and switching devices increases. To alleviate these problems, we propose an improved interleaving two-transistor forward Zero Voltage and Zero Current Switching (ZVZCS) dc/dc converter using a tapped inductor a snubber capacitor and two snubber diodes attached at the secondary side of transformer. The proposed ZVZCS converter is verified on a 1.8kW, 5kHz experimental prototype.

본 논문에서는 비선형 단상부하에 의해 발생하는 전류 고조파를 보상하기 위한 단상능동전력필터의 제어방법을 제안한다. 정규의 단상에 시간지연을 주어 가상의 두 번째 상을 만들어 단상시스템을 두 축을 갖는 직교 좌표로 변환시킬 수 있다. 두 개의 상은 3상 2상 변환에서 사용하는 것과 같이 직교 좌표 시스템을 만들 수 있다. 이 것은 순시 무효전력을 계산하는 방법인 복소계산을 가능하게 한다. 고정 좌표계에서 순시무효전력이론을 적용한 기존의 방법 대신, 본 논문에서는 수정된 동기 좌표계를 이용하여 정상분과 역상분을 계산하여 보상전류 지령치를 결정하였다. 제안된 방법은 고조파저감과 PF개선에 있어 우수한 성능을 보여준다. 시뮬레이션 패키지(PSIM)를 사용하여 모의실험을 하였으며, 제안된 방법의 유효성을 입증하였다.

본 논문에서는 고조파 보상과 역율 보상을 실시하여 전력품질을 개선하기 위해 성능함수를 이용한 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 고조파와 역율에 대해 각각 보상 작용하도록 직렬형 전력능동 필터에서는 고조파에 대한 보상 전압만을 발생, 제어하고, 병렬형 전력능동 필터에서는 역율에 대한 보상 전류만을 발생, 제어한다. 각 능동필터의 보상치는 성능함수 이론을 근거로 하여 추출해낸다. 제안된 성능함수 알고리즘을 정의하고 알고리즘을 적용시키기 위한 직렬형 능동필터와 병렬형 능동필터가 통합된 3상3선식 시스템을 제안하여 시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안된 알고리즘의 타당성과 유효성을 검증한다.

This paper deals with the design of a spiral micro inductor using LTCC(Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics) technology. The inductors using the LTCC technology have some prominent properties of high integration of circuits, high confidence and low cost comparing with previously fabricated thick-film inductors. In this paper, we designed a new spiral-type micro inductor comprising a magnetic material to improve the inductance and leakage flux. we, in addition, presented the simulation results for various shapes of the magnetic material in the micro inductor, Finally application of the micro inductor to the boost DC-DC converter is investigated.

Conventional methods in time / frequency domain for evaluating the compensation performance of active power filters are not provided easy solutions. So, the authors have previously proposed 3-D current coordinates which is composed into active component, fundamental reactive component and distorted component of nonlinear loads current. This method has excellent performance, but can not evaluate the characteristics of nonlinear load current whether it is inductive or capacitive. Therefore, To overcome problems mentioned previously, this paper deals with the simple Average power theory and the expanded 3-D current coordinates for evaluating the compensation performance of active power filters. To confirm the validity, active power filters simulator is developed using C-language. From the simulation, results are discuss their utility.

The conventional DTC strategy provides a fast torque response even though it has very simple scheme consisted with only two hysteresis band comparators and a switching table for torque and flux control. Drawbacks of the conventional DTC are relatively high torque ripple at low speed and variation of the switching frequency according to motor speed. In this paper, the new direct torque control(DTC) schemes are proposed. Those schemes are based on the torque slope and enable to reduce the torque ripple and maintain the switching frequency constantly.

Fluorescent lamp converts electrical energy Into light energy. Generally we use both electronic ballast and glow starter method in the house. We developed 40W electronic starter and its characteristic is verified by experiments. The efficiency of ballast is improved by using the LC Parallel reasonance circuit at input stage and LC series reasonance circuit at out-put stage.

This paper presents a speed estimation algorithm of Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) using flux-linkage modeling. The basic algorithm of this scheme is based on the flux linkage characteristic according to the phase current and the rotor position. A sufficient simulation and experimental data was used for neural network training. Through measurement of the phase flux linkage and phase currents, the neural network is able to estimate the rotor position and speed. The simulation result shows some good results, and possibility of this algorithm.

This paper is proposed new fuzzy controller for high performance of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) drive New fuzzy controller take out appropriate amounts of accumulated control input according to fuzzy described situations in addition to the incremental control input calculated by conventional direct fuzzy controller. The structures of the proposed controller is motivated by the problems of direct fuzzy controller. The direct controller generally give inevitable overshoot when one tries to reduce rise time of response especially when a system of order higher than one is under consideration. The undesirable characteristics of the direct fuzzy controller are caused by integrating operation of the controller, even though the integrator itself is introduced to overcome steady state error in response. Proposed controller fuzzy clear out integrated quantities according to situation. This paper attempts to provide a thorough comparative insight into the behavior of IPMSM drive with direct and new fuzzy speed controller. The validity of the comparative results is confirmed by simulation results for IPMSM drive system.

This paper presents a novel single-stage high frequency resonant DC-DC converter using zero voltage switching with high input power factor. The proposed high frequency resonant converter integrates half-bridge boost rectifier as power factor corrector (PFC) and half-bridge resonant converter into a single stage. The input stage of the half-bridge boost rectifier is working in discontinuous conduction mode(DCM) with constant duty cycle and variable switching frequency. So that a high power factor is achieved naturally. Simulation results through the Pspice have demonstrated the feasibility of the Proposed DC-DC converter. This proposed converter will be able to be practically used as a power supply in various fields as induction heating applications, DC-DC converter etc.

본 논문에서는 PSCAD/EMTDC 패키지를 이용하여 실배전 계통의 3상 4선식을 고려한 DSTATCOM의 모델 및 보상 기법을 제안하였다. 이 기법은 모의된 배전 계통에서 보상전후를 비교하여 배전계통에서 제안된 보상기법의 효과적임을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 보였다.

In this paper, on the subject of a speed control wind turbine, the type of wind speed reference decision between conventional MPPT tracking speed control and MPPT with LPF(Low Pass Filter) speed control algorithm are introduced and its performances are compared using a model based on MATLAB Simulink, and to get more realistic output data, the stored wind data as its wind speed input from 30kW wind power system in Buan, Haechang is used.

원격지에서 임의의 시스템을 제어하는 원격제어(teleoperation)는 자동화산업시스템을 비롯한 많은 분야에서 연구와 활용이 지속적으로 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 원격 감시제어시스템은 인터넷을 이용 풍력발전기에 적용시킴으로써 카메라를 동해 현장상태를 상시 감시하고, 필요시 원격지 제어를 통해 시스템을 안정적으로 운용하는 데 목적이 있다. 대부분의 풍력발전시스템은 사람이 쉽게 접근하거나 거주하기 용이하지 않는 지역에 설치되고 있으며, 특히 수기 또는 그 이상의 풍력발전기를 운용하는 대규모 풍력발전단지(Wind Farm)에서는 풍력발전기에 따라 자체 현장관리사무소를 설치하고, 헌장관리사무소를 원격지의 중앙통제실에서 종합적으로 관리하는 상황을 고려하면 원격 감시제어시스템은 풍력발전시스템을 구성하는 데 있어 매우 필요한 시스템이라 할 수 있다.

This paper proposes a stand-alone adjustable speed wind Power generation system using a cage-type induction generator. Indirect vector control is used, where the q-axis current controls the generator speed and the d-axis current controls the excitation level. The generator speed is adjusted according to the wind speed so as to produce the maximum output power. The generated power is charged in the battery bank through ac/dc PWM converter. The proposed scheme has been verified by the experimental results.

Photovoltaic systems normally use a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique ta continuously deliver the highest possible power to the load when variations in the insolation and temperature occur. A simple method of tracking the maximum power points (MPPs) and forcing the boost converter system to operate close to these points is presented through deriving small-signal model and transfer function of boost converter. This paper aims at modeling boost converter including equivalent series resistance of input reservoir capacitor by state-space-averaging method and PWM switch model with properly designed controller for maximum photovoltaic power tracking control.

A real time simulation method for the stand-alone Wind Power Generation System (WPGS) based on the real-time digital simulator (RTDS) is proposed in this paper for the simulations under the real weather conditions. The wind turbine characteristic equation of a wind turbine is reconstructed in the RTDS, and then the real data of weather conditions are interfaced to the RTDS through the analogue input Ports of the RTDS. The outcomes of the simulation demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed simulation scheme in this paper. The results show that the cost effective verifying for the efficiency and stability of the WPGS.

본 논문에서는 상용전력 계통이 어떠한 이유에 의하여 전력공급이 중단 되었을 때 최소의 전력공급을 위하여 독립형 시스템과 연계형 시스템을 일체화한 독립 연계형 겸용시스템의 적용 가능성을 도출하기 위하여, 설계.제작 하였다. 독립모드에서 부하는 저항부하를 사용하였으며, 300W, 600W, 900W, 1,200W의 부하시 전력품질을 측정하였으며. 1,200W의 부하시에 전압/전류 외율은 5.23% / 5.41%로 부하에 따라 변화하였으며, 연계형 시스템과 달리 전압 왜율이 부하증가에 따라 증가하는 특성을 보여 주었다.

본 연구에서는 차세대 초전도 핵융합장치(KSTAR)의 가열장치인 중성입자입사장치(NBI : Neutral Beam Injection) 시스템 중 휨 전자석(Bending magnet)의 중요한 파라메타인 전류에 따른 온도상승값과 B-field의 측정을 행하고 그 결과를 나타내었다. 휨 전자석(Bending magnet)은 중성입자입사장치(NBI) 시스템 중 중성화장치(Neutralizer) 후단에 설치되어, 미처 중성화되지 못한 이온들의 케도를 변경시켜 중성입자와 분리되도록 한 후 이온덤프에서 이들 이온들의 에너지가 흡수될 수 있도록 하는 역할을 한다. 사용전원은 15[V], 1200[A]의 가변전원을 사용하였고 전류값 변화에따른 온도상승값은 thermo couple 신호선을 이용하여 측정하였으며, B-field는 3차원 Gaussmeter를 이용하여 측정을 행하였다. 측정된 결과들은 설계시의 값과 비교분석을 행하여 오차를 줄여나가고자 하였고 향후 NBI 주 진공용기에 장착하여 중성입자입사장치의 개발 수행을 행하게 될 것이다.

본 연구에서는 태양광 발전 시스템용 밀폐형 연축전지(VRLA Valve Regulated Lead Acid battery)의 특성을 고려한 최적 정전압 충전 기법을 적용하여 축전지 과충전 현상 및 부적절한 충전에 의한 조기 수명 저하의 요인을 해결할 수 있는 방안을 모색함으로써, 태양광 발전 시스템의 활성화 및 Lift-Cycle 단가를 감소시킬 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 또한 원격 감시 시스템을 통한 시스템의 운용 상태 결과를 정확하게 실시간 수집 분석하여 대체에너지용 밀폐형 축전지 최적 충전 시스템 상용화를 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다.

A desirable characteristic of a parallel supply system is that individual converters share the load current equally and stably. The current sharing(CS) can be implemented using two approaches. The first one, known as a droop method, relies on the high output impedance of each converter. and The second approach, known as active current-sharing techniques. 전북 부안군에 설치된 30kW급 Dual-rotor 풍력발전기의 Main rotor blade를 대상으로 공기역학적 모델링을 수행한 후 각종 바람 상황과 풍속에 따라 변화하는 RPM 상황을 고려하여 전산모의 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 출력성능을 향상시키기 위하여 최대 출력을 계산하고 이를 추종하도록 하는 직접 출력 제어 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

풍력발전 시스템은 계통에 전력을 공급하는 분산형 전원형태가 대부분이어서 어느 분산형 전원보다 계통 연계시 선로에 미치는 영향이 큰 발전설비이다. 특히 가변속 시스템인 경우 풍속이 낮은 영역에서도 운전이 가능하다는 장점이 있지만 저풍속 영역에서 풍속 변동시 터빈 회전자 출력의 리플이 직류단 전압을 변동하게 만든다. 기존의 직류단 전압 일정제어기를 사용하는 경우 인버터 출력전류는 정현파가 아닌 고조파 리플을 포함하는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 직류단 전압에 저역통과 필터를 사용하여 인버터 출력전류의 리플 개선을 하였다.

상반회전 풍력발전 시스템의 경우 전방에 위치한 로터의 후류 효과를 적절히 반영하여 설계에 이용해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 로터의 후류효과 및 블레이드의 실속후 모델을 고려하여 30kW급 상반회전시스템의 설계형상에 대한 검토연구를 수행하였다 기본공력이론은 모멘텀 이론과 2차원 준정상 공기력 이론을 통합한 형태를 사용하였다. 로터의 후류영향을 고려하기 위해 축소형 풍차 블레이드 모델에 대한 풍동시험 결과를 적절히 이용하며, 이로부터 보조로터를 지난 후류의 축속도 및 각속도 성분을 결정하였다. 최종적으로 상반회전 시스템의 로터 반경 및 상호 이격거리 등을 고려한 성능해석을 수행하고 이로부터 최적 설계형상에 대한 파라미터 연구결과를 제시하였다.

The analysis of wave interference between the CBTC RF system and Wireless Data communication systems국내 전파법을 바탕으로 경량전철신호제어시스템용 무선통신장치와 무선데이터통신시스템간 간섭거리를 계산하였다. 무선데이터통신시스템이 실내에 설치되어 있는 경우 경량전철신호제어시스템용 무선통신장치를 사용하는 것이 문제없음을 화인하였다. 또한 실외의 경우에도 큰 문제없이 신호제어시스템용 분석장치를 사용할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

This paper proposes the Train Control System for the LRT(light rail transit). With regard to information processing in car, we build a computer network in the car, turned the hardware required for train control into software, and developed the Train Control Monitoring System(TCMS) and ATC. Drive Type of Train control system car can drive with Driverless mode basically, and this paper applied 10Mbps special communication type for car control, data analysis, The propulsion efforts and breaking effort can control the cars. It is used Vector Control in Propulsion control and proposed Operating pattern for Propulsion control thinking Operating data of Rubber Tire LRT.

Recent trend of sensor-less control of induction motor applied for commuter trains in Japan is introduced. Although many inverter-fed Induction motor driven trains have been produced so far, most of them were slip frequency based conventional V/f control system using shaft encoder. There arises a new trend to apply speed sensor-less vector control., for this inverter-fed induction motor drive system. The purpose of sensor-less control is to save, cost and improve system reliability. Several sensor-less systems now under testing on the actual railway company. This paper describes the survey of the fundamental structure and feature of representative sensor-less systems mentioned above.

IEC 62278, a standard for Railway applications of RAMS, was established in 2002. This IEC standard is based on CENELEC EN 50126 and covered overall railway fields. Activities that had to be performed from concept to decommissioning and disposal of railway system life-cycle, were contained in this standard. On the flow of internationalization, our Railway Authorities and railway support industry need to understand and apply this standard to railway fields. In this paper Railway RAMS in IEC 62278 is introduced.

This study presents wrong hand calculations for fault analysis at field on the real AC railway system. Hence, we correctly revised the hand calculations. We propose AC railway system model by using EMTDC. Fault studies are performed. We also compare revised hand calculations with EMTDC simulation to verify the proposed model made by EMTDC. So, we can confirm that the model made by using EMTDC is correctly designed.

This paper proposes a realistic electrical train to apply it to EMTDC. The pattern of a train operation always changes on the time domain. The impedance load generally does not represent it at this point. Therefor, we operated a realistic simulation by using measured data at field. Of course we might use the results of TPS.

Radio frequency identification (RF-ID) is an automatic data capture (ADC) technology that comprises small data-carrying device(is called Tag) and fixed or mobile device(is called reader). Tags are attached or deattached device. Readers may be installed at locations where data capture is required, and may also be in the form of portable readers. In this paper, we are proposing an application for the subway station using the RF-ID system and a system for the gateless fare collection passing through the booth in only carrying the card. In this system that RF-ID system and Bluetooth are applied. We designed two wireless communication channels. One is the 125kHz communication channel by FSK and PSK for power supplying on the card and identification and the other is 2.4GHz channel for the collection.

국내철도는 많은 철도선로를 전철화하고 있다. 25kV-60Hz 전철화구간에서 운행하는 전기차량으로 인하여 고조파에 대한 문제가 있다 이를 해결하기 위하여 AT급전방식에서의 고조파 특성을 해석하고 차량에서 발생하여 변전소로 유입되는 고조파를 저감시키기 위한 대책설비가 필요하다 여기에서는 지금까지 고조파 해석에 사용된 3종류의 고조파 해석모델과 기존선 전철화 과정에서 고조파 대책설비 설계에 대한 3가지 예를 보인다.

Communication based train control system is applied regularly worldwide. And this system may be used in domestic soon. Communication based train control system does not depend on conventional track circuit. Therefore, position and distance control of train to prevent collision with leading train may become important safety factor. This paper developed collision avoidance algorithm to control trains of several units efficiently for this. In developing a collision avoidance algorithm, it is desirable to avoid the need for additional system. Additional system restricts the development of the algorithm by limiting the effectiveness of the algorithm to only those areas where the additional system can be afforded and has been installed.

$\lambda$ )를 응용하여 기준 주파수인 1.5MHz를 송신 시스템과 수신 시스템의 기준 주파수와 비교하여 그 위상의 차이를 비교하여 지연된 시간을 구한 후 이를 거리로 환산하는 시스템으로서 무선장치와 S/W로 구분하여 구현 설계하였다. -
종래의 케도회로를 사용하지 않는 무선통신기반의 이동폐색방식 열차제어시스템에서는, 궤도회로에 의한 폐색구간를 기반으로 하는 종래의 연동제어논리를 더 이상 사용할 수 없게 된다. 이와 같이 궤도회로를 사용하지 않고 역구내에서의 진로제어를 수행하기 위한 연동논리를 구축하기 위하여, 역구내에서, 장내 및 불발과 분기기 구간 위치에서 가상 섹션을 두어서 열차의 진입 유무를 고정폐색방식으로 치환하고, 진로관리와 연쇄, 선로전환기 제어와 쇄정, 신호제어등의 연동논리를 구축하는 방안을 제시하였다.

Aging and failure of motor insulation depend on the stresses imposed on it. The insulation life time depends on the severity of the stresses. The electrical aging by transient surge is very important to traction motor in EMU(electric multiple unit). This paper Presents the insulation characteristics of stator coil by transient surge from inverter. There are several nondestructive tests available for checking the condition of motor insulation, the probable extent of aging,. and the rate of which aging is taking pace. So the insulation characteristics of stator coil were each analyzed by measurement of leakage current, dielectric loss(
$tan{\delta}$ ), capacitance, polarization index(PI) and partial discharge. The method of diagnosis is able to analyze the aging condition and Predict the life of the traction motor in EMU. -
철도차량의 유지보수 분야에서 시간, 인력 등의 낭비요소를 제거하기 위한 효율적인 유지보수 업무를 수행할 수 있는 정보화시스템의 도입이 요구되고 있다. 그러나, 정보화시스템을 구축한 후 잘못된 정보의 입력, 이중 작업 등이 발생하면 또다른 시간적, 인적손실을 발생시킬 수 있다. 이를 방지하기 위하여 차상정보 수집을 위한 시스템에 무선통신기술을 적용하여 기초정보수집에 소요되는 인적, 시간적 손실을 최소화 하고 전동차 검 수고에서 전동차를 검수할 때 작업조회에서 작업결과 등록, 부품신청/조회 등에 무선단말기를 이용함으로써 효율적인 유지보수 작업이 될 수 있도록 한다.

도시철도유지보수체계 정보화시스템 연구에서 예방정비시스템 구축을 위해 RCM 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 특히 예방정비에서 RCM은 지난 십 수년간 정비보수(Maintenance) 분야의 관리 기법으로 다른 어느 분야의 관리 기법 보다 한층 탁월한 발전을 하고 있다. 특히, 도시철도분야는 매우 복잡한 시스템으로 유지보수에 대한 신뢰성과 효율성 및 안전성을 가장 먼저 확보하여야 한다. 이를 위해서 본 논문에서는 여러 분야에서 오랜 기간동안 운영한 결과 상당한 유익점이 있다고 증명된 신뢰도 중심 정비 (Reliability Centered Maintenance: RCM)에 대한 소개를 하면서 도시철도 시스템에 대한 적용하고자 한다.

CCTV network has been implemented to transmit the image information of platform, ticket gate and transfer section to local headquarters in the KNR(Korean National Railroad). But, communication system for transferring image information around accident field or wayside has not been established ret. thus, at Present implementation of communication equipment is necessary for dynamic image of unspecified accident to be transmitted to headquarters. Copper cable communication network is run by KNR, but it is processing installation of optical cable in connection with the implemental plan for high-speed network from now on. And, the capacity of communication channel will be guaranteed much more than now between station and station. station and central headquarters when optical cable is completed. This study analyzes the image equipment of field for transmission and estimated matters to transmit image information of accident field to headquarters with using communication infrastructure. And, the study considers implemental method of communication network for long-distance image transmission from dozens to hundreds kilometers.

The korean high speed train(350km/h), composed of 7cars that are 2 power cars, 2 motorized car and 3 trailer cars, has been developed and is under on-line test. To verify the design requirements about the functions and traction performances of this train, KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) decided to evaluate traction performances of the train during on-line test. For this purpose, such as torque, velocity, voltage and current, must be measured. KRRI has developed the measurement system that can be measured vast and various signals effectively. In this paper, we introduce traction performances of korean high speed train. The traction measurement items are focused on the verification of motor block performances.

Recently, as the road capacity reaches the limit and environmental problems becomes serious, there is gradually increased a need for railroad vehicles that are environment-friendly and have time regularity, reliability and safety. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. We developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of korean hish speed train. The software controls the hardware of the measurement data and acts as interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we is studied for electric apparatus performance of railway vehicle using sensor. In order to this test is developed signal conversion system. Using this system, we obtained important result for pantograph voltage, battery voltage, axle speed, and running speed.

Nowadays many countries leading railway industry have their own system assessment process according to the situation of their train control system. In this Paper, several methods to derive Tolerable Hazard Rate are represented in the railway signalling system the characteristics of those methods are also considered respectively.
