The open delta circuit of the power transformer is still often applied, in spite of its reduced utilization of the power. In this paper, a new approach to the calculation of the power and its distribution in each transformer component is presented. For the power evaluation, the method of the complex power analysis is applied.

This paper is concerned with the problem of designing satisfactory low-order controller starting with a high-order, state space model. The success of a design approach is rooted in the Choice of a model reduction procedure. The powerful new reduction method of a modal approach was already evaluated /1/. Application of the technique to a simulated steam generator is demonstrated for the case of modal control with low-order controllers.

A state-space model of a burn through point control system of an industrial sintering process is derived. The model is then used in designing a self-tuning controller which consists of the receding horizon control law and a least-squares prediction algorithm. By applying this adaptive controller to POSCO sintering process IV, satisfactory expermental results have been obtained. Some of these practical results are presented in this paper.

We have a real-time algorithm which improves some drawbacks in the existed method for detection of the QRS complex waves. This proposed algorithm is programmed with 6502 assembly language based-on Apple II microcomputer.

A stochastic model to predict radio interference field as caused by corona discharges on high voltage transmission lines has been developed. This model is based on corona discharge distributed randomly in time and space. A stochastic model for the corona current induced by corona discharges on power lines is proposed. On the basis of the proposed corona current model, a rigorous analysis is presented to evaluate the radio interference (RI) field caused by corona discharges on a single conductor using the stochastic method.

In electricity industry, the improvement of load factor by flattening of load has been considered to be more important than any other tasks and has received wide concern and interest. Especially while annual peak load had occured early evening in winter during past decades, but we found the trend has changed so that annual peak load occured during the daytime in summer since1981 The useful practicing methods of this load management ale as follows; 1. Inducing of midnight load by thermal storage water heating 2. Seasonal differential rates. 3. Revising the peak load priceing (Time-of -use) It seems hard to expect that load research can be carried out in a short time, and we all have to exert outselves continuously to provide efficient load management method without wasting resources.

Reaction temperature md piezoelectric properties of Pb(Mn1/3 Sb2/3)0.08 Ti0.495 Zr0.425 $O_3$ ceramics by hydrothermal synthesis method have been investigated. Sintering density and dielectric constant of sample increased with increasing of hydrothermal reaction temperature, while decreased rapidly above $240^{\circ}C$. Electromechanical coupling factor kp was almost constant at the reaction temperature $160^{\circ}-240^{\circ}C$.

In this paper, The electron drift velocity was measured from an experimental study of the open end heat pipe system by induced current method as alkali metal vapour was generated in ordinary region of a drift tube. The test condition was alkali metal vapour range from 3.6 to 20.1(Torr), temperature of 667 to 755(K), and E/N of $1{\times}10^{-16}$ to $1{\times}10^{-15}(v.cm^2)$. The results of this study were obtained essentially the same as the extrapolated prediction curve for electron drift velocity in the alkali metal Vapour of J. Lucas et 31 with range of E/N: $1{\times}10^{-17}$ to $1{\times}10^{-16}(v.cm^2)$, and the electron drift velocity was obtained the result an increase in alkali to E/N range from E/N $2.8{\times}10^{-17}$ to $5.6{\times}10^{-16}(v.cm^2)$ (E/N From 2.8 to 50 Td).

During operation of an RF glow discharge system, it can be observed that the reflected power tends to increase in small value, due to changes in the impedance of the system. This problem can be relieved by adding an automatic impedance matching circuit to the system. This paper presents a detailed method of automatically matching the input impedance of a 50 ohm transmission line to an RF glow discharge system at 13.56 MHZ.

본 논문은 득정한 하드웨어를 구성함에 앞서 그 시스템이 State-diagram으로 표현된 것을 입력으로 받아 state-diagram이 맞는지를 verify하는 방법을 제시하며 equivalence state를 찾아 reduce해준다. Program의 실현은 Prolog로 하였다.

논리회로의 합성이란 minimize된 Boolean Expression을 실재로 존재라는 TTL IC로 Implement시키는 과정을 말한다. 즉, IC pin assignment 의 과정인 것이다. 본 논문에서는 논리회로를 합성하는 expert system의 초보적인 형태를 제안하고 있다.

본 논문은 후술할 다출력 스위칭 회로의 최소성 기준(Criteria of Minimality)에 의한 최소의 다출력 스위칭 회로를 설계하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이에는 단일 출력 스위칭 함수에 적용된 바 있는 Direction of Adjacency Table 방법이 다소 변경되어 다출력 스위칭 회로에 적용되었다. 이르 위하여 기존의 Direction of Adjacency Table을 다출력 함수의 최소화에 적합하도록 변경한 Extended Direction of Adjacency Table이 구성된다.

This paper deals with the personal computer based design for the sequential machines. Most part of sequential machine design have been implemented by using general purpose microprocessors in order to obtain the specific unctions required for their system. But, they have some difficulties in design stages. Knowledge of systems design method and high technology are basically applied to all the design stages.. Therefore ready made microcomputer system for personal use, personal computer, can be transformed to sequential machines by using the corresponding softwares and built-in personal computer input/output ports. Following the state transition diagram or table, we can obtain the ROM type of sequential machines directly and need not to design input/output interface except actuators and samplers because of capability of personal computer. Our main purpose of this design method are quick, flexible, reliable, modifiable circuit design of the sequential machines. In this paper, we use APPLE-II plus personal computer as target machine.

In designing the high frequency oscillator with FET, it may be necessary to make the FFT unstable using feedback. For convenient realization, sir feedback type is usually employed. It is convenient to determine the load which makes oscillation possible, with the contour plot of the negative resistance of the FET positively feedback for each type. Analytic formulas are given for this contour plot in this paper, and the results are discussed.

Hew dual integral equation for electromagnetic field scattered by an arbitrary dielectric wedge is formulated. In order to check the validity and physical meaning of the formulated equation, it is applied to the well-known case which is the diffraction by a perfectly conducting wedge.
