본 연구의 목적은 CT장비로부터 얻어지는 단면 영상을 이용하여 재구성한 3차원 Voxel 정보를 기반으로 의료 시술 중 위험도가 높으며 장기간의 수술 훈련이 필요한 수술인 척추경나사 삽입술에 대한 모의 시술기를 개발하는 것이다. 모의 시술기의 입력은 환자의 환부에 대한 CT와 모의 시술을 해보고자 하는 의사 (사용자)의 입력 (경나사의 진입 위치와 각도)이 되며 출력은 의사들이 시술장에서 받을 수 있는 유일한 방법인 Voxel데이터로부터 재생성된 X-Ray이미지, 혹은 C-Arm의 동영상이며, 최종 결과 출력은 나사못이 삽입된 재구성 CT 이미지들과 3차원 정보를 볼 수 있는 Image Based Rendering의 Image data set이 된다. 본 연구에서는 각 시각화 부분의 특성을 고려하여 direct volume projection, surface modeling, 그리고 최근 많은 관심을 받고 있는 Image Based Rendering 기법을 intergrate하여 사용하였으며 각 시각화 모듈의 초고속 정보 통신망에서의 정보 교환에 대한 방법론에 대해 다루고 있다.

In the case of paper plant engineering company, one of the most important critical problems is to accurately estimate the cost and the delivery time of the project. This is necessary for the company to win a bidding and to have some room for negotiation. Moreover, the company needs to have time to process all the relevant informations to make timely response to, and deal with the changing conditions of the bidding environments as quickly as possible. One of the popular methodology dealing with this kind of situation is an effective "decision support system," and may researches are currently been done on this subject. In this article, and effective decision support system is developed which can provide automatic delivery time and cost estimates from which plant engineering company may be benefited.

WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) Ring에서 경로과 고정된 파장할당문제는 Circular Arc Graph(CAG)에서의 vertex coloring문제와 동일하다. 본 연구에서는 극대독립집합(Maximal Independent Set)으로 vertex를 cover하는 정수계획법 모형을 제시하고 이를 효율적으로 풀 수 있는 column generation approach와 실험결과를 제시하겠다.

;There are many sources of uncertainty in a typical production and inventory system. There is uncertainty as to how many items customers will demand during the next day, week, month, or year. There is uncertainty about delivery times of the product. Uncertainty exacts a toll from management in a variety of ways. A spurt in a demand or a delay in production may lead to stockouts, with the potential for lost revenue and customer dissatisfaction. Firms typically hold inventory to provide protection against uncertainty. A cushion of inventory on hand allows management to face unexpected demands or delays in delivery with a reduced chance of incurring a stockout. The proposed strategies are used for the design of a probabilistic inventory system. In the traditional approach to the design of an inventory system, the goal is to find the best setting of various inventory control policy parameters such as the re-order level, review period, order quantity, etc. which would minimize the total inventory cost. The goals of the analysis need to be defined, so that robustness becomes an important design criterion. Moreover, one has to conceptualize and identify appropriate noise variables. There are two main goals for the inventory policy design. One is to minimize the average inventory cost and the stockouts. The other is to the variability for the average inventory cost and the stockouts The total average inventory cost is the sum of three components: the ordering cost, the holding cost, and the shortage costs. The shortage costs include the cost of the lost sales, cost of loss of goodwill, cost of customer dissatisfaction, etc. The noise factors for this design problem are identified to be: the mean demand rate and the mean lead time. Both the demand and the lead time are assumed to be normal random variables. Thus robustness for this inventory system is interpreted as insensitivity of the average inventory cost and the stockout to uncontrollable fluctuations in the mean demand rate and mean lead time. To make this inventory system for robustness, the concept of utility theory will be used. Utility theory is an analytical method for making a decision concerning an action to take, given a set of multiple criteria upon which the decision is to be based. Utility theory is appropriate for design having different scale such as demand rate and lead time since utility theory represents different scale across decision making attributes with zero to one ranks, higher preference modeled with a higher rank. Using utility theory, three design strategies, such as distance strategy, response strategy, and priority-based strategy. for the robust inventory system will be developed.loped.

The product information is defined as the information that is obtained in the whole life cycle of a product from design and manufacturing to marketing and it carries out the important role under the changeful environment. It is necessary to use computers for efficient product data sharing. But, in practice, because of various product data types and heterogeneous computing environment, it is difficult to share the product information among different computer systems. This paper presents the methodology for sharing the product information without a hitch in he-terogeneous computing environment by using the international standard of the product information ISO-10303 STEP and CORBA.
