An electric power efficiency of electrodeless fluorescent lamp has big relativie property of gas in lamp, gas pressure, lamp formation, ingredients of magnetic substance and shape and action frequency etc. We used magnetic substance that open self-examination material of electrodeless fluorescent lamp antenna. Ferrite that is used in this experiment was Mn-Zn type. We have examined resistance kind, impedance, Q-factor's frequency characteristic by ferrite. Impedance, resistance and capacitance did not show difference in start frequency 2.65 [MHz] but there was difference quantity. We could know Q-factor's difference according to material, and Q-factor's is important part of antenna design.

Recently, the environmental problem has received considerable attention. so, many lamps have been developing for environmental requirement and energy efficiency. also, at glow discharge lamp researchers try to reduce energy spending that is power saving lamp. this kind requirement agree with strong points of electrodeless fluorescent lamp has received to now lighting sauce. At low pressure as mTorr I.C.P make high density plasma easily, is good to maintain discharge, has high ionization and does not have failing lighting and losing ability of electron radiation by oxidation and volatilization of electrodes, because this tape does not have electrodes This point of I.C.P can use at electrodeless fluorescent lamp in this study ICP display elements and Ar, Ne, Kr are researched for optical characteristic. each gas is looked into optical characteristic, also mixed gases is experiment for optical characteristic.

Power supply technique for electrodeless lamps is presented in this paper. The power supply uses a conventional power factor correction technique due to its proved performance. But in the inverter stage, resonant converter with parallel loading scheme is used to mitigate the variation of matching circuit characteristics by time varying load. Experiment and performance comparison for both Endura md QL are performed and further study to commercialization are discussed.

There are lots of merits in the electrodeless lighting. But it is not widely used because the price is too high though it has very good quality and efficiency. So it is necessary to develop a electrodeless lighting which can be widely used with its merit.

In this paper, we measured the optical characteristics of the electrodeless fluorescent lamp system as product of the inside and outside of the country and compared the measured data. Power consumption wave of domestic 150 W is unstable than it's of Endura 150 W. Optical characteristics(luminance, luminous flux, color rendering index, efficiency, CIE chromaticity coordinate) value of the former is a little small than the latter. In conclusion, if we improve a little more quality then we must secure the superiority in competition.

본 논문에서는 무전극형광램프용 전원장치에 대한 전기용품의 안전기준에 대하여 시험항목 및 적용규격을 제시하였으며, 전기적 및 광학적 특성을 알아보기 위하여 성능측정을 수행하였다. 또한 무전극 형광램프용 전원장치의 고 수명에 대한 이론적인 평균고장수명을 알아보기 위하여 MIL-HDBK-217방법에 의한 예측방법을 이용하여 전원장치의 주위온도, 사용장소 및 설치조건에 따라 각 온도별로 각부품의 고장율을 예측하여 평균고장수명을 예측하였다. 그 결과 무전극형광램프용 전원장치는 온도가 어느 정도가 유지되어야 광 효율이 좋은 반면 전원장치는 온도가 높으면 상대적으로 수명이 급격히 줄어들면서 특성이 열화하는 경향을 가진다

수명이 길고, 효율이 좋은 광원 개발은 무엇보다 중요하다. 그러나 광원의 상용화, 광원의 모든 장점을 효과적으로 발휘할 수 있도록 하는 조명기구의 개발 또한 광원개발 만큼 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현재 개발 중에 있는 무전극램프(전구형, 환형)의 다양한 적용범위 대한 조명기구의 반사갓 설계를 다룬다.

야간 경관조명을 계획 및 평가하는데 필요한 물리량의 측정기법이나 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션의 유효성에 대한 검증이 미흡한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구 경관조명에 많이 사용되는 대표적 프로그램인 Lightscape 3.2의 유효성을 Radiant Imaging ProMetric 1400을 이용하여 검증한 것이다. 교량의 7개 부분에 대한 평균 휘도값을 비교한 결과 Radiant Imaging ProMetric 1400에 의한 물리량 측정값과 Lightscape 3.2의 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 값 사이에는 상대오차율이 평균 8.3%로 나타나, Lightscape 3.2가 경관조명의 사전 시뮬레이션 도구로써 매우 유효한 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 1997년 세계문화유산으로 지정된 수원화성의 야간경관조명연출에 따른 조명실태와 효과를 조사 분석하였다. 평가대상은 화성의 경관조명시설이 설치된 33개소 중 측정당시 설치가 완료된 성곽의 내 외부와 서북공심돈을 선정하였다. 평가방법은 야간에 조명현황조사 및 물리량의 측정을 실시하였다. 물리량은 피조면의 휘도, 색온도 및 색도를 측정하였으며, 이를 토대로 경관조명의 연출효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 전체적인 조명방식은 건축물 하단부에 설치된 지주등으로 상향조명을 하거나, 외곽 투광기를 이용한 전반조명이 병용되고 있었다. 조명연출실태는 성벽의 경우 연속된 성곽의 이미지를 강조하고, 빛의 콘트라스트를 이용하여 건축시설물을 강조함으로써 리듬감을 연출하였다. 색온도의 경우 성곽의 차가운 이미지를 보완하기 위하여 따뜻한 색온도의 광원을 사용하여 전체적 이미지를 안정적이고 부드럽게 표현하였다. 색도의 경우 전체적으로 황색의 색도가 나타났는데, 우리나라 전통건축에서 강조되어야 할 단청이나 부재를 위해서는 광원의 색채선정에 신중한 고려가 요구된다.

본 연구에서는 3전극 면방전 AC PDP의 ADS 구동방식에서 구동펄스 인가조건에 따른 어드레스 방전과 표시 방전간의 영향을 실험적으로 해석하고 휘도특성에 대해 알아보았다. 어드레스 방전을 위한 최소의 어드레스 펄스폭은
$1.5{\mu}s$ 이며 전압마진은 35V이다. 표시방전을 위한 최소 표시방전유지 펄스폭은$2{\mu}s$ 이며 전압마진은 25V이다. 이때 최대 휘도를 위한 표시방전 전압은 190V이며 표시방전 펄스의 개수가 1024개일 때 얻어진 평균휘도는$310[cd/m^2]$ 이다. -
본 연구는 우리나라 유리건축에서 적용되고 있는 유리투과체를 조사하여 투과율이 다른 4종류 즉, 투명유리, 색유리, 파스텔유리, 로이유리를 선정하여 복층유리로 제작하였다. 투과체에 따른 실내공간의 채광성능평가를 위하여 축소모형을 1/10으로 제작하였으며, 투과체의 구성을 일반형과 이중분할형으로 구성하여 기준실과 실험실에 설치하였다. 또한, 채광성능평가시 IEA모니터링 프로토콜을 적용하여 작업면, 벽면, 천정면에 대하여 조도를 외부조도와 동시에 측정하였고, 본 논문에서는 작업면에 대한 채광성능평가를 중심으로 분석하였다. 평가지표로서 주광조도비를 사용하였으며, 일반형과 이중분할형에 대한 가변 유리투과체를 변화시켰을 경우 투과율에 따른 실내공간의 채광성능을 평가하였다. 가변 유리투과체로 구성된 실내공간의 채광성능평가는 다음과 같이 분석되었다. 첫째, 실내공간에 일반형을 적용하여 서로 다른 투광성능을 가진 유리투과체가 적용된 경우 외부조도에 대한 내부조도 비율은 투과율이 증가할수록 일정하게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 투과체가 갖는 투과성능의 영향으로 판단된다. 둘째, 일반형에 비해 이중분할형은 채광창으로 유입되는 채광학적 기여가 증가하여 실 전체의 조도를 증가시키며 특히, 실 중간부와 후면부의 경우 채광적 잠재력이 증대되어 실의 쾌적함과 시 환경적 질이 증대될 것으로 사료된다. 현재 유리건축물에 많이 적용되고 있는 저 투과체에 이중분할형을 적용할 경우 채광학적으로 많은 효과가 있을 것으로 기대된다.

In this paper, we measured the electrical and optical characteristics of an electrodeless fluorescent lamp system as product of the inside and outside of the country and compared the measured data. Output current wave of domestic 150 W is unstable than it's of Endura 150 W. But the former of spend time after discharging and output current value is small than the latter. And optical characteristics(brightness, flux, color rendering index, efficiency) value of the former is a little small than the latter. In conclusion, if we improve a little more quality then we must secure the superiority in competition.

Outdoor space used for leisure life as inhabitantses' recreation and rest area, and night activity is very important space to many apartment complex. Lately, outdoor space is recognized as a very important space in apartment complex. Especially, that outdoor space is frequently used at night despite planning of lighting of current outdoor space is unprepared for the selection of suitable luminaires, arrangement of luminaire and lighting plan. From this point of view, this paper investigated the essence of light in outdoor space and analyzed different outdoor luminous environment. This paper finally suggested recommended level of illuminance and planning of lighting.

The street lighting needs to provide safe and comfortable environment together with producing good atmosphere suitable for the pedestrian's various needs. Thus, the choice of the street lighting fixtures should be based on the needs of the them and the necessities of the street rather than the precedences or appearances. This study proposes street lighting fixtures based on the need of the street lighting and also analyzes the problems of current fixtures.

This paper describes development of power transformer maintenance system using intelligent dissolved gases in oil analysis. The used gases are acetylene(C2H2), hydrogen(H2), ethylene(C2H4), methane(CH4), ethane(C2H6), carbon monoxide(CO) and carbon dioxide(CO2). The rule and neural network based gas analysis methods are used for artificial intelligent diagnosis. It is indicated that this program is efficient for diagnosis of oil immersed transformers diagnosis from application of gas analysis data of serviced transformer which has local overheating

This paper concerns developing a real time on-line light facility management system using internet and building a database system for control box and street light. Also, we designed the system to minimize the disparity with the conventional management system by referring to a old management ledger format. Thus, the proposed method may enable the system manager to administer the light facility efficiently and to reduce the manpower cost, and time economically.

This paper introduced an artificial fault generator which was operated in the Go-Chang field-test center and explained the result of single line-to-ground fault by AFG. The AFG can basically experiment line-to-line and line-to-ground faults. This facility directly connected distribution transmission lines, so the test results are very useful for power system analysis and protection. Using the function of the AFG, we briefly said the test methods ud results for the 22.9[kV-v] and
$6.6[kV-{\Delta}]$ system. -
지금까지의 고조파 필터는 중성선 리액터와 이중 엇갈린 결선으로 영상고조파 전류를 제거하였으나 중성선 리액터 과열로 중성선 단선 위험의 문제가 발생하였다. 본 중성선 Open Delta 방식은 이중 엇갈린 결선의 Core Block내에 결선하여 중성선에 연결하면 중성선으로 흐르는 영상 고조파 분 전류를 과열 없이 안전하게 제거하고 중성선 고조파 부하 전류량에 관계없이 완전하게 제거되는 것을 시험 분석한 결과로 가장 효과적인 고조파 저감 대책을 개선사례로 제시하여 관련선로에 도움이 되고자 한다.

우리나라 지형의 특성은 약 70%가 산으로 이루어져 있다. 이러한 지형적 여건은 교통과 관련된 사회간접 자본의 증가로 이어지며, 최근에는 산업의 발전에 힘입어 교통량의 증가와 물류비용의 절감을 목적으로 철도 및 도로의 건설시 터널의 계획 및 시공이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 이에 따라 터널의 환경개선과 화재시 제연을 목적으로 설치되는 제트팬(Jet Fan)의 용량이 차지하는 전기적 비중이 높아지고, 전압강하에 대한 손실율이 증가되고 있다. 따라서 제트팬의 설치시 배치방법과 터널의 길이에 따른 전기실 배치를 Case 별로 분류하여 전압강하를 계산하고 분석하여 가장 효율적이며 경제적인 방안을 연구하고 정리하여 향후 설계시 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

There are many electricity, electronics, and communication equipment which need to Grounding in the building. When electric current flows into a certain Grounding system in the same building, the potential of other Grounding system rises. This potential interference repuire surface potential of electrods by electrode shape. In this paper basic formula is deduced on the basis of both electrodes surface potential of Grounding electrode as a source of the potential interference and Grounding electrode which receive the potential interference. The degree of potential interference as multiple Grounding electrode is verified the simulated results by means of the simple model in advance.

Most of the LV customer have been applied the distribution system of 3-phase four wire system because of its advantage of supplying both of 1-phase & 3-phase loads simultaneously. Due to its structural simplicity, it is more convenient for use rather than the conventional separated scheme. But uneven load distribution or unclean voltage quality has occurred various problems such as do-rating, losses increase and vibration, etc. In this paper, voltage, current and power waveform in the actual fields have measured and analyzed in relation with internationally allowable voltage unbalance limits and compared the current unbalance factor with the load unbalance factor.

Electric ballast is widely used to turn on the fluorescent. Electric ballast measure occurrence of harmonic through the actual measurement and it is simulated by modeling equivalent circuit for harmonic analysis. The purpose of this paper is to give an equivalent circuit modeling methodology for the harmonic currents generated by single-phase personal computer loads to evaluate a commercially available series resonant filter for the harmonic currents compensation based on the IEC std 61000-3-2 and IEEE 519 standards for limiting harmonic distortion.

The molecules of the substance absorbing a light obtains the radiant energy to the wavelength of the light to make thermal reactions or photochemical reactions. Specially, thermal reactions by infrared radiation brings about physical damage by temperature rise process or temperature drop process of the material. In this study, a measuring system was set up to measure the temperature rise and temperature drop of each sample by infrared radiation from light source. And a physical demage of samples by infrared radiation were measured using the measuring system.

광촉매의 성능을 평가하기 위해 3종류의 광촉매를 형광등 터널등기구, 고압나트륨 터널등기구, 고압나트륨 가로등기구에 코팅하고 이들 조명기구의 신설 시와 설치 1.5개월 후의 투과율을 측정하여 그 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과 고압나트륨 터널등기구에는 광촉매 반응이 거의 일어나지 않았고, 형광등 터널등기구에서만 그 효과가 나타났다. 이것은 고압나트륨등이 자외선 영역에서 빛을 거의 방출하지 않았기 때문이다.

기존 광원은 그 배광이 광원을 중심으로 볼 때 사방으로 퍼져 나가며, 이를 이용해 적절한 형태로 바꾸는 것은 주로 반사판의 역할이다. 그러나 LED는 기본적으로 배광이 좁으며, 이를 적절하게 변경시키는 것은 반사판이 아니라 굴절과 확산이 된다. 또한 LED는 그 자체만으로 크기가 작아 점광원으로 볼 수 있지만, LED에서 발광하는 빛은 chip에서 epoxy dome으로 직접 굴절되어 나가는 refracted ray와 reflector cup에 의해 반사되어 다시 epoxy dome에서 굴절되어 나가는 reflected-refracted ray로 이루어지기 때문에 정확히 말하면, 빛은 한 점에서 발광한다고 간주 할 수는 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 LED에 대한 최적의 refractor 설계를 위해 점광원으로 간주 할 수 있는 최적의 근사 발광점을 선택하여 refractor를 설계하고자 한다.

The LED lighting used spot-light illuminate the limited surface. So it is a key-point to condense wide emission angle of high power light emitting diodes (LEDs) to narrow that angle. In this paper, the secondary optics was designed by lens-makers formula for concentration rays of LED into specific region. So, it simulated the optics that designed by lens makers-formula in the optical design program, LightTools. And then, show the p propriety of lens design utilizing simulation result, luminous intensity, emission angle.

In this paper, an automatic lighting control system is developed using micom. The developed system consists of digital lighting control system, analog lighting control system and simulator. In the developed system, ATMega128 is used as the main controller. The developed digital lighting control system consist of eight parts and the developed analog lighting control system consist of six parts respectively. Additional, the developed simulator consist of analog and digital simulation using graphic user interface.

본 논문은 오염된 수질처리에 사용되는 UV램프의 특성을 실험을 통해 데이터로 분석하였다. 실험은 기중 및 수중 측정을 위해 아크릴 박스를 제작하였고, IL1400A의 광출력 측정기기를 사용하여 광출력을 측정하였다. 또한 연속적인 측정을 위해 Lab View를 사용하여 직접 컴퓨터로 데이터를 수집하였으며, 기중 및 수중에서 광출력을 높이기 위해 주파수를 변환시켜 성능을 확인하였다. 그 결과 광출력은 기중 및 수중에서 모두 32[kHz]에서 가장 높았다.

The improvement of perspectives on dark and limited underground space could be an important factor in successful underground space development. Current trend in the apartment underground parking lot requires not only quantitatively energy efficient design and operation, but also qualitative improvement of the space. For this, we need to consider two factors: Firstly, to understand the characteristics of the fluorescent lamp. Secondly, to improve the uniformity ratio of illuminance. In winter season, a way to keep the uniformity and a method not to lower the indoor illuminance level by cold ambient air. Therefore, a change in interval and arrangement of the lighting fixtures is required. Also, in their operation, current time-fixed control method needs to be changed into the control that method considers the use pattern.

As quality of life improves, apartment's residents prefer residing type that have differentiation of resident center. Accordingly, community facilities such as fitness club, swimming pool, and so on are operated in apartment complex. Community areas are important space that can induce inhabitantses' natural meeting and contact, and that can solve social problems which is started each individuals' estrangement in current through community formation between neighborhood. From this point of view, this paper investigated the essence of light and the luminous environment for community areas. This paper finally suggested well-coordinated lighting plan of community areas, derived from the measurement and analysis of luminous environment in these cases.

Power supply technique for electrodeless lamps, especially self-oscillation method, is presented in this paper for Endura of Osram. The power supply uses different method for high efficiency at high frequency operation compared to the conventional method using saturable transformer. Exact parameter tuning using simulation is suggested for effective design for real applications.

본 논문에서는 변형 삼각간섭계를 이용한 간섭패턴 생성과 관련한 몇 가지 실험결과를 제시한다. Two-pupil 합성 방법을 이용하여 변형 삼각간섭계의 광전달함수를 합성하고 광전달함수에 내포된 오차에 대한 원인을 분석해 보았다.

비교적 최근에 개발된 T5 형광 램프를 점등시키기 위한 전자식 안정기를 개발하였다. 램프는 110W의 정격을 갖고, 그 길이는 2300mm이다. 제작한 안정기는 우수한 기동특성을 보였으며 안정된 전기적, 광학적 특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

UV 램프 시스템은 산업, 환경분야에서 폭넓게 사용되고 있으며, 램프의 용량이 커지는 추세를 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 출력이 보다 안정화되고, 대용량에 적합한 고효율 UV램프 구동시스템을 개발하였다.

본 연구에서는 펄스 스타트 램프를 제작하여 전기적 특성과 광학적 특성을 측정하였다. 제작한 램프의 전력은 150, 200, 350 W이다. 본 논문에서는 PSL에 대한 일반적인 특성과 제작한 램프의 장점에 대하여 살펴보고자 한다.

본 연구에서는 Green, Blue, Pink, Orange 컬러 메탈핼라이드 램프를 제작하여 전기적 특성과 색 좌표와 스펙트럼 분포 등의 광학적 특성을 측정하였다. 연구 램프는 Double Ended type(MH-DE)과 Single Ended type(MH-SE)이며, 램프전력은
$70W{\sim}1,000W$ 이다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 램프에 대한 결과를 소개하고자 한다. -
본 논문에서는 말굽형과 장방형 터널의 기본부의 노면과 벽면의 조도를 Lightscape를 사용하여 계산하였으며, 계산된 결과를 분석하여 보면 노면의 평균조도와 평균균제도는 두 가지 터널 사이에 큰 차이가 없었으며, 벽면조도는 노면에서 높아질수록 두 가지 터널에서 차이가 커지는 것으로 나타났다.

본 논문에서는 조도순응시설의 모형을 제작하여 실제 측정값과 사진을 찍고, 이를 3ds Max와 Lightscape를 사용하여 계산한 결과와 비교하여, 이들 사이의 연관성이 크다는 것을 보였다.

현재 대도시에는 자동차 배기가스, 공장의 매연, 담배연기 등으로 양(+)이온이 많은 오염된 공기 환경을 이루고 있는 바, 양(+)이온이 많은 오염된 공기는 두통, 초조, 현기증 등 불쾌한 부정기적인 호소를 유발할 뿐만 아니라, 인체 조직의 세포를 산화, 자율 신경을 자극시키고 혈액순환 작용을 악화시켜는 등 각종 질병을 유발하고 노화를 촉진시키게 되는 문제점이 있다. 이에 빛을 방사하는 조명기구로부터 인체에 매우 유익한 음(-)이온과 원적외선도 방사시켜서 혈액순환촉진, 인체 조직 활성화, 신진대사촉진, 체내 노폐물, 유해금속 배출 둥 인체에 매우 유익한 생체효과를 미치는 기능성 반사판을 사용함으로써 오염된 양(+)이온으로부터 산화된 체질을 환원시키며, 기분을 상쾌하게 하고, 자연 치유력을 높이며, 세포가 활성화되어 피로회복이 쉽게 되고, 호흡기능을 높이는 등 보다 활력적인 인체 건강을 유지하고 질병의 예방 및 치유를 도모하는 다기능<음(-)이온 & 원적외선>반사판 조명기구를 개발하고, 그의 생물학적 효능을 검증하는 실험을 실시하였다.

This paper presented a actual conditions on a false-tripping of ELB(Electrical Leakage Breaker) and an assessment of the harmonics due to non-linear electronic equipment such as personal computers, printers, fax machines, and test equipments in several office buildings. Actual conditions on a failure of ELB were surveyed and analyzed by making up a question to safety managers of in office buildings. Also, power quality measurements such as harmonic currents, voltage and current waveforms and current imbalance were made at various office buildings where nuisance tripping of ELB is often occurred. The results of this study can be used in making decisions regarding cause of ELB trip and operating md tripping characteristics test of ELB when subjected to distorted current waveforms.

고도 정보화 사회의 진전으로 전기에너지의 소비는 급격히 증가하고 있다. 특히 업무용 빌딩과 같은 전력다소비 건물에서는 전력의 효율적 이용에 의한 에너지절감은 물론 설계 단계에서의 합리적인 전기설비 설계가 요청되고 있다. 현재 우리나라의 기후 특성과 전력소비 특성을 고려한 합리적인 전기설비 설계를 위한 기초 자료가 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 합리적인 수용률 기준을 설정하기 위하여 사무소용 빌딩의 전력 소비 특성을 조사 분석하였고, 아울러 전기설비설계사무소에서 적용하고 있는 수용률을 조사 분석하였다. 조사된 자료 전체의 특징과 중심적인 경향을 알아내기 위해서 평균값, 중앙값, 표준편차, 최대 값, 최소 값, 회귀모형식, 최소제곱 평균오차 등의 확률 통계적 파라미터들을 수용률 기준 설정을 위한 특징 파라미터로 선택하였다. 그리고, 데이터의 신뢰성을 비교 분석하기 위하여 선형적인 방법과 비선형적인 방법으로 그 경향을 추정하여 곡선으로 나타내었다. 이러한 방법에 의하여 얻어진 분석 자료를 이용하여 적정 변압기 용량 설정을 위하여 데이터베이스화하였고, 변전설비용량의 합리적인 설계를 위하여 수용률 기준 적용시에 필요한 자료로 활용할 수 있으리라 사료된다.

False-tripping of MCCB(Molded Case Circuit Breaker) and ELB(Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker), using to protect overload and ground-fault accidents in power system raise direct and indirect losses like as information loss, facilities damage, slipup of goods production in industry place. Cause of false-tipping of MCCB and ELB is various and cause analysis of false-tripping is mostly made up by inference because trip is not reappeared. This paper investigated and analyzed causes and influences of false-tripping of MCCB and ELB by making up a question to safety managers of two hundred and eighteen electrical facilities for private use. Also, the necessity of experimental study on the effect of harmonics on false-tipping of MCCB and ELB was presented.

This paper is about the new Distribution System of the electric customers. The Power loss in the Distribution System is disregarded and rarely managed so far. But, economically, this loss is not small quantity to Ignore. So, in this paper, we suggest that the new Distribution System of the electric customer by simply changing the locations of Power Transformer and other power facilities which is located inside of the customer. And we also show that the Power loss is decreased with this systematic changing by approximated calculation.

This paper studies protective coordination of utility interconnected multiple distirbuted generations(DG). The study of protective coordination interconnected DG has been conducted. A protective coordination of utility disturbed by reverse current of DG. Therefore, A protetive device is not operate when reverse current flows. In this paper, we use phase difference between V and I. Also, we studied protective coordination algorithm of utility interconnected multiple DG.

For the paralleled operation of DC/DC converters, the current sharing between each modules is the most important for the reliability of the power system. Interleaving method is commonly used with many paralleling schemes for the reduction of the ripple in the output voltage of paralleled converters and there are many commercial IC for interleaving application appliable. But for all of them, it is impossible to detect the number of module in operating and then change the phase of them automatically. In this paper, a novel paralleling method is proposed for the converter parallel operation, which detects the number of modules in active and sets the phases of PWM signals applied to each modules autonomously. This can greatly improve the output voltage ripple and reliability of the system. The expandibility of modular number can be done very easily by just adding several parts.

The electric safety tends to be more important according to electric facilities's increase and its use in these days. This paper analyzes soil resistivity of two areas in the country using CDEGS(Current Distribution, Electromagnetic Interference, Grounding and Soil Structure, Canada). We designed rod and mesh grounding system and made a comparative study of ground resistance, GPR(Main Electrode Potential Rin), step voltage and touch voltage. Then we could analyz only the safety but also economical efficiency in elocution of grounding. As a result of simulation, ground resistance, GPR(Main Electrode Potential Rise), step voltage and touch voltage became higher in proportion to soil resistivity. Therefore we expect to estimate the propriety of grounding system design through accumulation and analysis of data in consideration of characteristics of soil.

A ground resistance is a good index of performance in a grounding system, but it does not reflect the performance in transient states. Recently long vertical ground rods in urban areas are often installed. But because of the inductance of long ground rods the ground impedance at high frequency might be greater than its resistance at low frequency. In this paper, a ground impedance of deeply driven ground rod has been measured in the frequency range from 10 kHz to 50 MHz. As a result, the ground impedances of a deeply driven ground rods are almost constant at the frequency range less than 100 kHz. However at high frequency the ground impedance showed the strong frequency dependance.

The SAR(Solar Array Regulator) of KOMPSAT(Korea Multi Purpose SATellite)-1, 2 regulates a photovoltaic power according to the duty ratio commands of the ECU. But the ECU has so many other jobs that it can not calculate the solar array condition immediately. It means the SAR cannot always generate the maximum power of a photovoltaic. Nowadays, the commercial photovoltaic systems are using a controller operated by digital processing. But the usage for satellite is not adaptable. It is not easy to find the processor of the space grade and the price is expensive. So in this paper, the simple analog MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) algorithm is proposed for the small satellite in LEO. This algorithm does not need any calculation of power by multiplication of voltage and current md a measurement of the solar array temperature. It is consist of only two sample and hold circuits, two comparators, a flip-flop, and an integrator. The proposed MPPT algorithm is verified by the simulation and experimental.

국내산업의 발달 및 경제 성장과 더불어 전력설비의 대용량화 및 다양한 전기설비의 보급으로 인하여 수변전설비도 증가되고 있으며 또한 대형화되어 지고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 수변전설비에서의 안전 및 설비사고도 점차 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 수변전설비의 안전 환경을 연구대상으로 하여 국내외 규정 및 기준에 대하여 비교 분석하여 수변전설비의 설치시 안전 및 설비사고 예방에 적용이 될 수 있도록 하였다.

국민의 생활수준 향상에 따른 서비스산업의 발달로 화재위험 건물로 분류되는 나이트클럽과 같은 유흥장은 전국적으로 늘어나고 있는 추세이며, 이들 시설의 이용객수도 점점 증가하고 있다. 또한 규모가 대형화되고 화려해짐에 따라 전기설비도 복잡하고 다양해지고 있다. 특히 한정된 장소에 수많은 전기설비의 설치로 전선 및 케이블이 집중되어 시공되는 유흥장의 특성상 화재의 위험으로부터 항상 노출되어 있으며 다중이 이용하는 시설로써 화재 발생시 대형 참사가 일어날 가능성이 상존하고 있다. 그러나 화재시 인명이나 재산 피해를 최소한으로 줄이기 위한 방재설비에 대한 인식은 상대적으로 부족한 것이 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 유흥장 방재설비에 대한 관련법이나 규정을 소개하고 유흥장의 현장실태조사를 통한 문제점을 파악하여 유흥장 방재설비의 설계 시공 및 유지관리에 대한 개선 방안을 제공하고자 한다.

The increasing use of nonlinear loads has resulted in an increase in the harmonic content of the load current for power transformers. Transformers subject to harmonic currents have higher losses and need to be derated. This paper presents a simple method for determining the capability of transformers to supply harmonic load currents and shows that the application of capacitor banks with a series connected reactor and harmonic filters will geatly increase the capability of transformers. The EDSA program was used as a simulation tool for the carse study.

Public utilities adopt the grounding rules ; class I, class II, class III and special class III, and install the grounding electrodes in distribution facilities. To keep the safety of the human and the facilities, Public utilities also manage the value of ground resistance in distribution system biennially. At present the Hook-On meter is normally used to measure the ground resistance although it has
${\pm}5[%]$ measuring error and it can not measure the exact value when the current is over 1[A]. In addition it is very difficult to use the fall-of-potential method in distribution system. In this paper we propose the new measurement method using ground current of distribution system as the current source. -
In multi-ground distribution system, overhead ground wire and neutral wire are parallel connected to offer the electrical power energy and protect damage of lightning strokes. Therefore a case where the two wires become single wire, the power company can get the benefit such as installation cost saving and line fault protection by simplify of distribution line. In this paper we describe the result of impulse test in both system ; one is the present power system the other is unified power system parallel connected overhead ground wire and neutral wire. As a result of this impulse test, the present power system get lower impulse voltage than the unified power system.

In distribution system about 5% of total outage is due to the lightning stroke. In order to reduce the rate of outage occurrence, distribution lightning protection equipments such as a secondary arrester, arching horn and various ground electrodes are developed and installed in the inside and outside of the county. Therefore it is needed to construct the test facilities to analyze the effect of these equipments. In this paper we describe the main content of the test facilities of lightning protection equipments. We have completed the field test of distribution lightning protection equipments for example lightning arrester, secondary arrester and arching horn etc.

There are ground facility of maintenance in house electric facility of infra maintenance electric home appliances having used multifariousness in house, that use electric energy of common source for equipment. The body of building such as the reinforced concrete construction is structurally united, and the electric resistance is also small. It is possible that those foundations have contacted the ground at large surface area and that it substitutes the building construction body for the earth electrode. This is called "the structure earthing". This method has been defined at electrical facilities technical standards and KS in our country, and it has been used in various quarters practically. However, in our country, there is no example of using the foundation of the house as substitution earth electrode practically, and the means of the evaluation as electrode has not been established either. Then, in this paper, basic research for utilizing foundation of the house as substitution earth electrode is carried out.

This paper presents an algorithm of detecting changed intervals with step-type shape in motor's speed response data. The proposed method is composed of 4 parts such as noise filtering, decision making of reference value's change, finding entrance point of steady state and detecting changed intervals. According to simulation results for three cases, we see that changed intervals can be found well.

This paper presents the integrity evaluation method of the windings in cast resin transformers using vertical thermal distribution analysis. The method is to compare the temperature distribution in a sound condition specimen with that in the failure condition specimen layer-shorted by accelerated testing. The temperature distribution was acquisited by a infrared thermography system, and the Arrhenius equation was adopted to the accelerated testing. The proposed method may be available to detect the failures in cast resin transformers.

본 논문은 다목적실용위성 2호기의 개발에 사용한 태양전지 어레이의 설계결과를 요약하였다. 최적의 태양전지 어레이의 개발을 위하여 고효율의 갈륨-아세나이드 태양전지를 사용하였다. 태양전지를 장착하기 위한 패널은 알루미늄 허니컴이 적용되는 샌드위치 구조에 섬유강화 복합재료를 면재로 사용하였다. 다목적실용위성 2호기의 임무말기 태양전지 어레이는 최소 1,073 watts 이상의 전력을 위성부하와 탑재체에 충분히 공급할 수 있도록 개발하고 있다.

In this paper the experiments of insulation characteristics by temperature change of$SF_6$ gas and insulation characteristics about liquid$SF_6$ in GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) were described. From this result, at low temperature, the breakdown voltage was increased with a drop of temperature and an increase of the inner pressure in GIS. The ability of insulation in liquid$SF_6$ was higher than that of the highly pressurized$SF_6$ gas. A liquid$SF_6$ discharge characteristics was caused by bubble formed evaporation of liquid$SF_6$ and bubble when high voltage apply to electrode. Corona was happened to weak bubble and was proceed to new bubble breakdown. -

It is research about special quality of ozone gas concentration and dissolved ozone concentration that show according to change of flow rate when liquefied ozone gas in water. If increase flow rate of ozone gas, ozone concentration increases being proportional and amount to fixed flow rate, dissolved ozone concentration was measured low. When ozone concentration How rate 1000 [ppm], dissolved ozone concentration smelted to flow rate 1.5[Q] for 28 [min] is$0.1740{\sim}0.8020[mg/l]$ . Could know that half-life is most short by 3 minutes 8 seconds in flow rate 1.5 [Q]. And ozone smelted 20 minutes later after half-life measurement became disjointing all. -
가스절연개폐기의 절연물로 사용되는 에폭시가 흡습환경에 노출될 경우 절연내력은 급격히 저하된다. 에폭시 절연물에 함유되어 있는 수분은 어느 일정 온도에서는 가스 내 수분과 평형을 이루고 있지만 온도변화에 따라 수분은 이동되며 또 고전압 인가 시 절연체 표면은 열화 되어 장기간에 걸쳐 침식과 함께 Treeing 현상을 유발시킨다. 본 연구에서는 에폭시 절연물의 절연특성에 미치는 수분의 영향을 파악하기 위하여 실 계통에서 사용된 제품에 대해 AC 내전압시험 및 재료분석을 시행하였다. 분석결과, 표면의 파괴전압은 주수량에 따라 건조섬락전압의 최대 1/5까지 저하되었다.

In this paper, PDA(Personal Digital Assistants) terminal is proposed to be used for controlling and managing light facilities efficiently by connecting it to a web-based server system and adding additional functions. The control box of current light facilities may be implemented based on a simple On-Off function. The operational quality of the light facilities will be efficiently improved with some practical advantages such as reduction of required facility, manpower and time in managing the lights and control boxes tv using the popular PDA.

This paper deals with the comparison of signal processing techniques of ultrasonic data. The goal of signal processing is the ultrasonic speckle suppression and the visibility enhancement of flaw-reflected ultrasonic echo. The performance of conventional SSP(split spectrum processing) method and the wavelet denoising method are compared and discussed for tested ultrasonic data. Tested ultrasonic data obtained from the weld area of centrifugal-casted stainless steel material and safe-ending material with holes and notch of variable depths are presented. In experimental results, the outputs of wavelet-based denoising method show the clear and sharp peaks at the positions of flaw-reflected echos comparing with those of SSP method.

The integration of intelligent devices, devices-level networks, and software into motor control systems can deliver improved diagnostics, fast warnings for increased system reliability, design flexibility, and simplified wiring. Remote access to motor-control information also affords an opportunity for reduced exposure to hazardous voltage and improved personnel safety during startup and trouble-shooting. This paper presents LonWorks fieldbus networked intelligent induction control system architecture. Experimental bed system with two inverter motor driving system for controlling 1.5kW induction motor is configured for LonWorks networked intelligent motor control. In recent years, MCCs have evolved to include component technologies, such as variable-speed drives, solid-state starters, and electronic overload relays. Integration was accomplished through hardwiring to a programmable logic controller (PLC) or distributed control system (DCS). Devicelevel communication networks brought new possibilities for advanced monitoring, control and diagnostics. This LonWorks network offered the opportunity for greatly simplified wiring, eliminating the bundles of control interwiring and corresponding complex interwiring diagrams. An intelligent MCC connected in device level control network proves users with significant new information for preventing or minimizing downtime. This information includes warnings of abnormal operation, identification of trip causes, automated logging of events, and electronic documentation. In order to show the application of the multi-motors control system, the prototype control system is implemented. This paper is the first step to drive multi-motors with serial communication which can satisfy the real time operation using LonWorks network.

Induction motors are a critical component of many industrial processes and are frequently integrated in commercially available equipment. Safety, reliability, efficiency, and performance are some of the major concerns of induction motor applications. Preventive maintenance of induction motors has been a topic great interest to industry because of their wide range application of industry. Since the use of mechanical sensors, such as vibration probes, strain gauges, and accelerometers is often impractical, the motor current signature analysis (MACA) techniques have gained murk popularity as diagnostic tool. Fault tolerant control (FTC) strives to make the system stable and retain acceptable performance under the system faults. All present FTC method can be classified into two groups. The first group is based on fault detection and diagnostics (FDD). The second group is independent of FDD and includes methods such as integrity control, reliable stabilization and simultaneous stabilization. This paper presents the fundamental FDD-based FTC methods, which are capable of on-line detection and diagnose of the induction motors. Therefore, our group has developed the embedded distributed fault tolerant and fault diagnosis system for industrial motor. This paper presents its architecture. These mechanisms are based on two 32-bit DSPs and each TMS320F2407 DSP module is checking stator current, voltage, temperatures, vibration and speed of the motor. The DSPs share information from each sensor or DSP through DPRAM with hardware implemented semaphore. And it communicates the motor status through field bus (CAN, RS485). From the designed system, we get primitive sensors data for the case of normal condition and two abnormal conditions of 3 phase induction motor control system is implemented. This paper is the first step to drive multi-motors with serial communication which can satisfy the real time operation using CAN protocol.

This paper presents the basic quench protection idea for the HTS(High-Temperature Superconducting) cable. In Korea power system, the transfer capability of transmission line is limited by the voltage stability, and HTS cable could be one of the countermeasure to solve the transfer limit as its higher current capacity and lower impedance[1]. However, the quench characteristic of HTS cable makes HTS cable to loss its superconductivity, and therefore change the impedance of the line and power system operating condition dramatically. This pheonominum threats not only HTS cable safety but also power system security, therefore a proper protection scheme and security control counterplan have to be established before HTS cable implementation. In this paper, the quench characteristics of HTS cable for the fault current based on heat balance equation was established and a proper protection method by FCL(Fault Current Limiter) was suggested.

Recently, sectionalizing switches have been coming to be operated by remote control through the distribution SCADA system. However, the problem of determining the optimal switching sequence is a combinatorial optimization problem, and is quite difficult to solve. Hence, it is imperative to develop practically applicable solution algorithms create a new arbitral distribution system configuration from an initial configuration, and some of these algorithms do not show a load transfer sequence to reach the objective system.

In this paper, electronics ballast using double resonant inverter for 250[W] MHD lamp is designed and implemented. Electronics ballast reduce a turn -on/offf loss by using ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) technic in the double resonant inverter, and when circuit have a analysis, the characteristic evaluations is described generally by using the normalized parameters used numerical analysis. We conform a rightfulness of theoretical analysis by comparing theoretical waveforms and Pspice waveforms and experimental waveforms, double resonant inverter for 250[W] MHD lamp is operated safely.

For technical and economic reasons, the drum drive system employed in the domestic waking machines have traditionally been based on a combination of a high speed induction motor and a pulley and belt. This paper deals with washing machine drive based on an inverter fed induction motor. In this case, voltage is applied in proportion to frequency to achieve rated torque though the range. But scalar control such as V/f methode is somewhat simple to implement, but the inherent coupling effect given sluggish response. Therefore, this paper describes study on induction motor vector control for drum type washing machine.
