  • In this paper, we consider the problem of convergence of an iterative algorithm for a general system of variational inequalities, a nonexpansive mapping and an ${\eta}$-strictly pseudo-contractive mapping. Strong convergence theorems are established in the framework of real Banach spaces.

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove strong convergence theorems for common fixed points of two families of weak relatively nonexpansive mappings and a family of equilibrium problems by a new monotone hybrid method in Banach spaces. Because the hybrid method presented in this paper is monotone, so that the method of the proof is different from the original one. We shall give an example which is weak relatively nonexpansive mapping but not relatively nonexpansive mapping in Banach space $l^2$. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results announced in [W. Takahashi and K. Zembayashi, Strong convergence theorem by a new hybrid method for equilibrium problems and relatively nonexpansive mappings, Fixed Point Theory Appl. (2008), Article ID 528476, 11 pages; doi:10.1155/2008/528476] and [Y. Su, Z. Wang, and H. Xu, Strong convergence theorems for a common fixed point of two hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings, Nonlinear Anal. 71 (2009), no. 11, 5616?5628] and some other papers.

  • In this paper, we introduce an iterative sequence for finding solution of a system of mixed equilibrium problems and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert spaces. Then, the weak and strong convergence theorems are proved under some parameters controlling conditions. Moreover, we apply our result to fixed point problems, system of equilibrium problems, general system of variational inequalities, mixed equilibrium problem, equilibrium problem and variational inequality.

  • In this paper, we present a new mixed type iterative process for approximating the common fixed points of single-valued nonexpansive mapping and multi-valued nonexpansive mapping in a CAT(0) space. We demonstrate strong and weak convergence theorems for the new iterative process in CAT(0) spaces, as well as numerical results to support our theorem.

  • In an infinite-dimensional Hilbert space, the normal Mann iteration has only weak convergence, in general, even for nonexpansive mappings. The purpose of this paper is to modify the normal Mann iteration to have strong convergence for a closed quasi-$\phi$-nonexpansive mapping in the framework of Banach spaces.

  • In this paper, the problem of iterative approximation of common fixed points of asymptotically nonexpansive is investigated in the framework of Banach spaces. Weak convergence theorems are established. A necessary and sufficient condition for strong convergence is also discussed. As an application of main results, a variational inequality is investigated.

  • We prove a common fixed point theorem for S-contraction mappings without continuity. Using this result we obtain an approximating curve for S-nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space and prove Browder's type strong convergence theorem for this approximating curve. The demiclosedness principle for S-nonexpansive mappings is also established.

  • In a uniformly convex Banach space, we introduce a iterative scheme for a finite family of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings and utilize a new inequality to prove several convergence results for the iterative sequence. The results generalize and unify many important known results of relevant scholars.

  • In this paper, we introduce a parallel iterative method for finding a common fixed point of a finite family of Bregman strongly nonexpansive mappings in a real reflexive Banach space. Moreover, we give some applications of the main theorem for solving some related problems. Finally, some numerical examples are developed to illustrate the behavior of the new algorithms with respect to existing algorithms.
