The purpose of this study was to examine the influential factors on parenting guilt of mothers who use a day-care center. To achieve these research goals, the present study 1) analysed the differences in the mother's parenting guilt as the socio-demographic variables of the mother and child, and 2) examined the relative effect size of influences on the mother's parenting guilt with their parenting efficacy, satisfaction on the day-care center, emotional and informational support from teachers, and mother's active interaction with day-care teachers. The participants of the study were 350 mothers whose infants and toddlers were attending day-care centers in Gwangju and Jeollanamdo. The results of this study are as follows. First, the mothers with infants who were younger than 3 years old reported more parenting guilt than the mothers with toddlers. Second, the mothers whose children were the first child reported more parenting guilt than the mothers with children who were the second or the third child. Third, the emotional support from the day-care teacher was the most influential factor on the mother's parenting guilt. This study suggests that the mutual cooperation between mother and day-care teacher are very important to reduce the mother's parenting guilt.
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between teacher's efficacy and job stress and the effects of educare center teacher's teaching efficacy on job stress. The subjects of this study were 200 teachers at the public, private, or home child-care centers in Pyeongtaek, Songtan and Osan. To analyze the general characteristics of subjects, frequency analysis and descriptives, ANOVA and correlation analysis, and multiple regression were used. The results of this study were as follows: First, educare center teacher's teaching efficacy level was a little higher than the average. The mean score of general belief of teaching efficacy was a little higher than the personal belief of teaching efficacy. Second, educare center teacher's job stress level show to be lower than average. Job related stress is the highest. Next is, the child related stress, personal related stress. Third, teaching efficacy significantly influenced on the job stress. The result indicated the higher educare center teacher's belief of efficacy was, the lower the job stress was. While general teaching efficacy was not associated with teaching efficacy, personal teaching efficacy was significantly related to teaching efficacy. The result of analyzing the effects of educare center teacher's teaching efficacy on job stress showed personal teaching efficacy had a strong influence on job stress. In detail, there was a significant negative correlation between personal teaching efficacy and job stress. Among the general factors such as the level of education, monthly income, work hours had significant influence on job stress. Therefore, the higher the level of education, the less monthly income, the longer work hours, it appeared that educare center teacher's job stress is higher.
This study examined the influences of children's playfulness and teacher-child interactions on their peer interactions, and investigated whether teacher-child interactions had any moderating effects upon the relation between child playfulness and peer interactions. The participants of this study were 240 children in fourth year classes in child care centers in Seoul and Gyoung-gi province and 24 of their teachers. In order to measure the research variables, the Korean version of PIPPS(Pen Interaction Peer Play Scale) by Choi and Shin(2008), the Children's Playfulness Scale(Barnett, 1991), and the modified version of the Caregiver Interaction Scale(Arnett, 1989) were used. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statics, Pearson's correlations, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results indicated that children's playfulness and teacher-child interactions had significant effects on their peer interactions. Especially, the teacher-child interactions were related to the play disruption and the play disconnection of peer interactions. In addition, teacher-child interactions moderated the effect of children's social spontaneity(children's playfulness) on their play disconnection(peer interactions). The results have some implications for the role of teacher-child interactions in peer play interactions and a range of prevention efforts.
The purpose of this research is to introduce the fundamental data to develop a program to educate parents properly. The participants of study were 200 children of 3~5 years old enrolled in kindergarten or child care centers located in mostly DaeGu city and GyeongBuk provinces. The research applied two tools by measuring the child's creative personality, and observing test paper for a child's emotional intelligence. The data was analyzed by the ANOVA test, Scheff$\acute{e}$ s post-hoc test, Pearson's product moment correlation test and multiple regression analysis. In subordinate variables of a child's creative personality, significance difference was discernable partly with the father's salary and education levels. However, there was no significance difference with the father's age. Especially, the positive influence of the father's education level is apparent on the entire child's creative personality variables, uniqueness and imaginative amusement. Influence Emotional self-awareness shows on entire creative personality variables, uniqueness, diverse interest and imaginative amusement. Emotional awareness in others influences on diverse interest, imaginative amusement. Others emotional control influences positively on entire creative personality. The results of this study suggest that the child's emotional intelligence are significant method to improve the child's creative personality in the education field.

Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, Primary factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, t-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical regression, using the SPSS 12.0 program. The results of this study were as follows: First, young children's self control partially mediated when mother's affectionate parenting affected young children's internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors. Second, young children's self control partially mediated when mother's psychological control affected young children's internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship among beginning early childhood teachers' stress coping strategies, role performance, and self leadership. The subjects in this study were 491 beginning early childhood teachers working in kindergarten and child care centers across the country. For the research analysis, frequency, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, and Pearson's correlation were calculated and regression analysis were conducted. The results are as follows. Firstly, it was revealed that passive stress coping strategies does not have statistically meaningful influences on role performance, but active stress coping strategies have statistically meaningful positive influences on role performance. Also, 491 beginning early childhood teachers' active stress coping strategies have statistically meaningful positive influences on role performance through the mediation of self leadership. That is, the results explain that the higher the self-leadership of beginning early childhood teachers is, the higher the role performance that they have experienced is. First, the positive peer interaction, self-regulation and leadership of children were positively associated. Second, the peer interaction did not have a significant effect on the leadership of young children, and the self-regulation of young children had a positive effect on the leadership of young children. The purpose of this study was to validate Preschool Child Observation Record-II developed by High/Scope for Korean preschool children. The subjects of the study were 255 children aged three to six attending child care centers and their head teachers. They were observed for at least two months and completed the Korean version of Child Observation Record-II(K-COR-II). K-COR-II consisted of six categories and 32 items which had five-level-rubrics. The results from an exploratory factor analysis identified one dimension of the scale, there was no evidence of discriminant validity even after face validity was examined. The concurrent validity and internal consistency of the revised scale were relatively high. Also, the mean between the upper and lower groups with regard to item discrimination showed significant difference. It was concluded that K-COR-II can be used as a valid and reliable instrument to various aspects of preschool children's development.
