The movement control order and shutting down educational institution in Saudi Arabia has jeopardized the teaching and learning process. Education was shifted to distance learning in order to avoid any academic loss. In the middle of the Covid-19 crisis, there is a need to assess the full image of e-learning in Saudi Arabia. To investigate student and teachers' perception and acceptance, parents' attitudes and believes about distance education are the main goals of the study. The mix-method research design was employed to collect data. Three surveys were distributed to 100 students and 50 teachers and 50 parents from different educational institutions in Saudi Arabia, while semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 parents. Random stratified and convenient sampling methods were adopted. Both descriptive and content analysis was conducted using SPSS25.0 and NVIVO software for quantitative and qualitative data accordingly. The findings showed that students are comfortable with remote education and are receiving enough support from schools and instructors but they think online education can't replace conventional face-to-face learning. Moreover, the results showed that teachers are having challenges in preparing online classes because of the development of conducting online classes and the lack of training. However, parents showed negative attitudes regarding the benefits and values of remote education and preferred conventional learning styles in elementary schools. Parents tended to reject and resist distance learning for several reasons: professional knowledge and lack of time to support their young kids in online classes, the shortcomings of e-learning, young children's inadequate self-regulation. Saudi parents are neither trained nor ready to use e-learning. The study provided suggestion and implications for teacher education and policymakers.

본 연구는 경상남도 소재 C대학에서 코로나19 이후 이루어진 원격수업에서 LMS만족도가 전체 만족도에 미치는 영향의 정도를 알아보고, 전체 수업 만족도와 LMS 만족도 요인 간의 영향 관계를 살펴보고자 한다. C대학에서는코로나19 이후 시행된 대규모 원격수업의 원활한 운영을 위하여 차세대 스마트 LMS 구축 사업을 시작하여 2021학년도 1학기부터 운영하였다. LMS를 활용하여 이루어진 원격수업에 대한 학습자 만족도를 알아보기 위하여 전체 수업 만족도와 LMS 만족도에 관한 다섯 요인으로 이루어진 설문조사를 C대학에서 원격수업을 경험한 학습자 140명을대상으로 실시한 결과, C대학에서 원격수업을 경험한 학습자는 전체 수업 만족도뿐만 아니라 LMS 만족도에서도 높은 만족도를 보였다. LMS 만족도와 전체 수업 만족도의 회귀분석 결과, LMS 기능의 편리성과 교수자와의 상호작용관련 요인이 전체 수업 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 학습자가 LMS 기능이 편리하다고 느낄수록, LMS를 통해 교수자와 원활하게 상호작용이 가능하다고 느낄수록 전체 수업 만족도도 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 한 개 대학의 학습자를 대상으로 하였으며, 한정된 변수 측정만 이루어졌다는 한계가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness the IoT program in online, and explore the applicability of the design course in consideration of design elements and realistic constraints for engineering education accreditation in online. For this study, IoT programs developed based on online classes were operated, and the effectiveness as a subject was verified through satisfaction surveys, competency test, and interview of participating students. In addition, by presenting design elements and realistic constraints in a online environment required to apply to engineering design courses, it is expected that they can be used as basic data in developing and operating actual design curriculum.

This study explored students' online fashion studio class experiences, and investigated the factors affecting their class satisfaction. An online survey of college students who were enrolled in online studio classes within apparel and fashion-related departments during the spring of 2020 was conducted in June 2020. Responses from a total of 213 participants were included in the final data. Respondents rated lecture clips as the most useful, followed by teacher demonstration and feedback, PowerPoint (PPT) supplements, and Q&As. Frequently mentioned areas of improvement were online platform stability and video quality. Many respondents also stated that more streamlined teacher-student communication channels, immediate and meticulous teacher feedback, the adoption of course contents developed specifically for an online environment, and provisions for equipment usage would be desirable. Student satisfaction of an online fashion design studio class was significantly affected by teaching presence, social presence, online learning system stability, perceived usefulness of teacher's demonstration, and affective response toward COVID-19. Students satisfaction of an online garment construction studio class was significantly affected by teaching and social presence, online learning system stability, and perceived usefulness of teacher's demonstration. Based on these findings, we recommend developing teaching contents and methods that allow students to feel included in class and establish an online system with various functions to enhance the sense of social connection that can enable two-way communication.

이 연구는 코로나-19로 인한 대학 내 원격수업에 따른 체육계열 대학생의 교육경험과 인식을 확인하고자 수행되었다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해 체육계열 대학생 278명에게 온라인을 통해 원격수업 현황, 원격수업인식(선호도, 만족도)을 조사하였다. 분석방법으로는 SPSS 22.0과 R프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 대응표본 t검증, ANOVA, 워드 클라우드 분석을 적용하였다. 상기한 연구과정을 통해 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코로나-19로 인한 체육계열 원격수업 유형에서는 이론 및 실기수업 모두 동영상형이 가장 많이 활용되었다. 둘째, 원격수업 유형의 선호도에서는 이론 및 실기수업 모두 동영상형이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 다음은 강의장면 촬영형, 음성강의형 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 체육계열 대학생들의 원격수업에 있어 이론수업과 실기수업에 대한 만족도 차이를 분석한 결과 수업유형에 따른 만족도 차이는 없었다. 서술형 응답을 통해 과제의 적절한 활용 여부는 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인하였다. 결과를 반영하여 체육계열 원격수업의 방향과 향후 연구 문제를 제안하였다.

No one denies the importance of online courses, which provide a very important alternative, especially for students who have jobs that prevent them from attending face-to-face in traditional classes; Engagement is one of the most important fundamental variables that indicate the course's success in achieving its objectives. Therefore, the current study aims to build a model using machine learning to predict student engagement in online courses. An online questionnaire was prepared and applied to the students of Jouf University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and data was obtained from the input variables in the questionnaire, which are: specialization, gender, academic year, skills, emotional aspects, participation, performance, and engagement in the online course as a dependent variable. Multiple regression was used to analyze the data using SPSS. Kegel was used to build the model as a machine learning technique. The results indicated that there is a positive correlation between the four variables (skills, emotional aspects, participation, and performance) and engagement in online courses. The model accuracy was very high 99.99%, This shows the model's ability to predict engagement in the light of the input variables.

2020년 이후 학교에서는 온라인에서 수업하는 것이 일상이 되었으며 동시에 교사들에게는 스마트기기와 앱을 활용하여 수업을 설계하고 진행하는 역량이 중요해지고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 온라인으로 스마트기기와 앱을 활용하여 수업을 시연하는 것이 향후 실제 현장에서 그것을 활용하여 수업하고자 하는 예비교사의 의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 예비교사의 스마트교육 역량 향상을 위한 설계 원칙에 따라 수업을 설계하고 예비교사를 대상으로 그 수업을 진행하였다. 이후 UTAUT모델에서 비롯한 변인인 성과기대, 노력기대, 사회적영향, 자발성, 활용의도, 촉진조건을 수업 전·후에 각각 측정하고 대응 표본 t검정을 통해 수업의 효과성을 검증하였다. 그 결과 촉진조건을 제외한 모든 변인에서 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 온라인 수업 시연 교육이 예비교원으로 하여금 스마트 교육이 필수가 되어버린 교육현장에 보다 실제적으로 적응할 수 있게 하는 한 가지 방안이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

본 연구는 온라인 수업에서 간호대학생의 메타인지, 학습몰입, 문제해결력 간의 관계를 파악하고 문제해결력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 G시 소재 대학에서 온라인 수업에 참여한 2, 3학년 재학생 88명을 대상으로 실시한 서술적 조사연구이다. 분석방법은 SPSS version WIN 23.0을 이용하여 평균, 표준편차, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 일반적 특성에 따른 학습몰입과 문제해결력의 차이는 학습이후 간호사에 대한 인식과 간호학과 입학동기에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났으며 문제해결력은 메타인지와 학습몰입감과 유의한 정적(+) 상관관계가 있었고 메타인지와 학습몰입이 문제해결력에 영향을 미치는 유의한 변수로 나타났다. 연구의 결론은 간호교육에서 온라인 수업으로의 변화 속에 문제해결력을 증가시키기 위해서 학습몰입과 메타인지가 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었고, 메타인지와 학습몰입을 높일 수 있는 교육방법의 변화가 필요하고 이를 위해 체계적인 프로그램 개발에 본 연구가 기초자료가 될 것이다.

본 연구는 코로나 바이러스 감염증(COVID-19) 상황에서 간호대학생의 온라인 수업 만족도를 확인하고 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구는 2021년 4월 한 달 동안 대구·경북지역의 간호대학생 220명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였으며, 수집된 자료는 t검정, ANOVA, 상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 간호대학생의 온라인 수업 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과 학습자 요인(β=.29, p<.001)과 시스템 요인(β=.51, p<.001)이 통계적으로 유의한 영향이 있었으며, 상대적으로 영향력이 가장 큰 변수는 시스템 요인으로 나타났다. COVID-19 종식 이후에도 온라인 수업이 더욱 확대될 것으로 전망됨에 따라 학습자의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 교육으로의 변화를 위해 학습자들이 주도적으로 학습할 수 있는 기반 마련과 이러한 학습에 적합한 온라인 운영 시스템의 개발을 통한 간호 교육의 패러다임 전환이 필요하다.

This study designed and developed a class using review games as a way to enhance students' interest, class participation, and class comprehension in engineering theory classes, and explored their educational effectiveness. To this end, a review game strategy based on the Creative Training Technique was established and applied to three engineering theory subjects. The types of review games include Jin-jin-ga, Bingo, Challenge Golden Bell, Finding hidden terms, and Completing initial sentences. As a result of applying this review game strategy to the classes over the past decade, students' satisfaction and lecture evaluation scores significantly increased compared to before application, and it was confirmed that students' interest in and understanding of the class increased significantly. Furthermore, this gamification class strategy can be a way to increase students' participation in theory classes regardless of their major, and can be applied to non-face-to-face online classes.
