간호대학생의 국가고시 관련 시험불안, 자아존중감과 정신건강에 대한 연구 (Impact of Self-Esteem and Test Anxiety on Mental Health among Nursing Students Taking the National Examination for Registered Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between test anxiety, self-esteem and mental health. Method: Data were collected by structured questionnaires from 306 nursing students in a dormitory for the national examination for registered nurses. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, scheffe's test and Pearson's correlation coefficient and hierarchial multiple regression through the SPSS WIN program. Result: The results of the analysis showed that the mean for test anxiety was $79.70{\pm}18.74$ points, the degree of self-esteem was $28.26{\pm}5.02$, and mental health was $24.31{\pm}13.07$. In the correlation analysis, mental health positively correlated with test anxiety (r=.559, p=.000) and negatively correlated with self-esteem (r=-.141, p=.013). Test anxiety and subjective health status explained 36.4% of mental health. Conclusion: This finding of this study recommends that test anxiety control and self-esteem enhancement programs should be development for mental health promotion in nursing students taking the national examination for registered nurses.

간호학생의 정신간호학 실습에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Nursing Students실 Psychiatric Nursing Practice Evaluation Scores)

  • This study examined the effects of therapeutic communication skills, self esteem and self concept, psychiatric nursing lectures on students' psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores. The purposes of this study were to determine factors influencing students' psychiatric nursing practice to improve the quality of that practice. The subjects were 123 third year nursing students in the department of nursing of G University in C city. Data were collected from 1989 to 1991 by question-aires and academic records. Pearson Correlation and t-test were used in analysing the data to confirm the relationship and influence among the study variables. Stepwise Multiple regression was used to confirm the predictors of the nursing students' psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores. The results were as follows : 1) Relationship of General characteristics and Psychiatric Nursing Practice Evaluation Scores : General characteristics were not significant on psychiatric nursing pracice evaluation scores. 2) Relationship of the therapeutic communication skill and psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores : the higher the degree of therapeutic communication skill was the higher the scores for psychiatric nursing practice (r=.5528, p(.001). 3) Relationship of psychiatric nursing course and psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores the higher the scores in the psychiatric nursing course the higher the scores for psychiatric nursing practice (r=.2793, p(.01). 4) Relationship of self-esteem & self concept and psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores : Self-esteem 8f concept was not significant on psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores. 5) Stepwise multiple correlation of therapeutic communication skills, self-esteem and self concept, psychiatric nursing lectures on psychiatric nursing practice evaluation scores showed that therapeutic communication skills and the psychiatric nursing course scores influenced the evaluation scores psychiatric nursing practice significantly.

  • 학습에 영향을 끼치는 요인은 크게 학습자특성변인, 교수자특성변인, 학습과제특성변인, 환경특성변인으로 구분하여 논의해 볼 수 있는데, 이 요소들 중에서도 학습자의 특성을 파악하는 것이 교육 계획을 작성하기 위해 가장 우선적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 학습자의 특성 중 정의적 특성인 자아개념 학습습관 학습태도가 수학학업성취에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보고 초등학생의 학업 성취 및 태도에 관한 교육 방법으로 모색하도록 하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 충청남도 A 시에 위치한 초등학교 5학년 2개반 78명을 대상으로 질문지 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 수학에 대한 자아개념, 학업에 대한 자아개념, 수학에 대한 학습습관, 수학에 대한 태도, 학업 에 대한 학습습관, 학업에 대한 태도 순으로 수학학업성취와 상관정도가 높음을 알 수 있었다.

문제중심학습을 적용한 영아 성장발달 모듈 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Module for Infant based Problem-based Learning)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a module for infants in pediatric nursing based on problem-based learning (PBL) and to analyze its effect. Methods: The data used in the study was collected from 79 junior nursing students. For the analysis of the module effect, one group post-test design was applied for measurement of academic achievement. Results: The module for infants is comprised of a 4-hour PBL module. The academic achievement tests are composed of formative (tutor evaluation, self-evaluation) and summative evaluations. The self-evaluation revealed the strong need for PBL and the importance of PBL in the problem solving process and integrative thinking. The mean score of the subjects' learning satisfaction, problem solving process and concept map assessments were all above 50 percent. There was no significant difference in the mean score between the infant PBL and other teaching methods. Conclusion: The PBL proved to be a useful learning method to promote the critical and integrative thinking process.

COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서 사무직 남성근로자의 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인: Pender의 건강증진모형을 적용하여 (Factors affecting the health promoting behaviors of office male workers during the COVID-19 pandemic: Using Pender's health promotion model)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing the health promoting behavior(s) of office worker males in the COVID-19 pandemic by applying Pender's health promotion model. Methods: The participants in this study were 149 male office workers at companies located in S, G and S cities. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and a stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS Window 25.0 program. Results: The subject's health promoting behaviors and prior related behaviors (r=.58, p<.001), perceived benefits of action (r=.41, p<.001), self-efficacy (r=.53, p<.001), social support (r=.39, p<.001), self-esteem (r=.47, p<.001) and commitment to a plan of action (r=.67, p<.001) showed a high positive correlation. The factors affecting the subjects' health promoting behaviors were the commitment to a plan of action (𝛽=.35, p<.001), self-esteem (𝛽=.27, p=.005), prior related behavior (𝛽=.26, p<.001), health status (good) (𝛽=.20, p=.001) and self-efficacy (𝛽=.14, p=.047). These variables explained 63.0% of the subjects' health promoting behaviors. Conclusion: During the COVID-19 pandemic, subjects are more likely to be exposed to disease due to reduced outdoor activity time and irregular eating habits due to the strengthening of social distancing. Health promoting behaviors are an important concept that can maintain health and prevent diseases. To improve the health promoting behaviors of men engaged in office work, it is necessary to develop and operate a health promotion behaviors program considering those variables.

한국인의 건강개념에 대한 탐색연구 : Q-방법론 적용 (A Study on Health Concepts of Korean)

  • This paper as the basic study aiming the establishment of nursing theory according to Korean culture, is made to reveal the types of recognition about concepts of health immanent in Korean who have the health view, completely mixed with traditional oriental medicine and Confucianism and Buddhism and Shamanism and european scientific medicine, etc. This paper is using the Q-method, which is greatly effective in measuring the individual subjectivity, to collect rightly the concepts of health of objects. This analysis shows us the 4 types of recognition about concepts of health immanent in Korean as follows. Type Ⅰ: modern self-searching type(現代的 自己 追求型), Type Ⅱ: nature-sharing type(自然 共有型), Type Ⅲ: meaning-intentional altruism(意味 指向的 他者 中心型), Type Ⅳ: oriental adaptational type(東洋的 順應型). The men belonging to type Ⅰ have positive and self-searching view of health. They are not only interpreting the concept of health scientifically, but also positively accepting the oriental concept of health. The men belonging to type Ⅱ have strong tendency of down-to-earth. They not only have the naturalistic view of health as Taoist, but also carry the weight in the family and neighbour and regard co-sharing as excellent virtue. The men belonging to type Ⅲ are positive altruists, pursuing the meaning of life and at the same time setting the importance to the good value system. Naturally they care more the family and neighbour than themselves. The men belonging to type Ⅳ have oriental view of the world characterized by nature-adaptation. They positively agree to the Shamanism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Oriental concept of health. In conclusion, in all types we can see that Korean understand the harmony of man and nature as fundamental principle of heath and carry the more importance to the mind(心) than body(身) and at the same time esteem more the family-centric, oriental and organic community than individual. All above facts is immersed in the concepts of health of Korean as a common denominator.

초등학생의 성에 따른 자아개념과 진로발달 간 차이, 관계 및 영향력 비교 (A Comparison of the Differences, Relationships and Impacts between the Self-Concept and Career Development for Elementary Schoolers by gender)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 성에 따른 자아개념과 진로발달 간 차이, 관계, 및 영향력을 비교하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 초등학생 259명(남학생 133명과 여학생 126명)이다. 본 연구를 위해 활용한 측정도구는 정종진(1996)의 자아개념 검사도구와 안창규 안현의(2006)의 Holland 진로발달 검사도구이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 12.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과를 분석하면: (1) 정서적 자아에서 남학생(M=54.857, SD=7.593)이 여학생(M=52.302, SD=8.908)보다 높았다. (2) (1) 직업적성평견에서 여학생(M=42.200, SD=5.918)이 남학생(M=37.372, SD=7.600)보다 높았다. (2) 자율성에서 남학생(M=36.544, SD=5.544)이 여학생(M=35.008, SD=5.118) 보다 높았다. (3) 자아개념은 남학생(r=.175~.761)과 여학생(r=.199~.667)의 진로발달과 정적상관관계를 가졌다. (4) (1) 학업적 자아는 남학생(5.6%~56.3%)과 여학생(8.4%~48.7%)의 진로발달에 영향을 미쳤다. (2) 사회적 자아는 남학생(2.6%~5.9%)과 여학생(2.7%~4.3%)의 진로발달에 영향을 미쳤다. (3) 정서적 자아는 남학생(1.9%~37.0%)과 여학생의(11.2%) 진로발달에 영향을 미쳤다. (4) 신체적 자아는 남 여학생의 진로발달에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이상의 결과를 통해 초등학생의 자아개념이 진로발달에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

간호대학생의 행복에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Factors related to Happiness among Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study explored factors that influence happiness in nursing students. Methods: The participants were 182 nursing students at a university in B city. Data were collected with a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with the SPSS Win 22.0. Results: Happiness in nursing students correlated significantly with resilience (r=.79, p<.001) and self-differentiation (r=.38, p<.001). Resilience, subjective health status, and selection motivation to study nursing explained 69.1% of the variance in happiness. Conclusion: The study shows resilience, subjective health status, and selection motivation to study nursing are important factors for happiness in nursing students. These findings can be utilized to develop strategies for increasing nursing students' happiness.

간호대학생의 행복에 관한 인식- Q 방법론적 접근 - (Perception of Undergraduate Nursing Students toward Happiness: A Q-Methodological Approach)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze types of undergraduate nursing student's perception toward happiness. Method: The Q-methodology, which provides a method of analyzing the subjectivity of each item, was used. The 34 selected Q-statements from each of 41 subjects were classified into a shape of normal distribution using a 9 point scale. The collected data was analyzed using a QUANL PC program. Result: Four types of perception of happiness in Korean undergraduate nursing students were identified. Type I is a family support vs. emotion type, Type II is a self satisfaction vs. perception type, Type III is a relation oriented vs. action type, and Type IV is a self regulation vs. belief type. Conclusion: It can be concluded that obtaining happiness by pursuing a satisfactory life through creation of values can play an important role in happiness. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that the concept of happiness might be included in nursing curriculum.

중환자실 간호사의 직무 스트레스 관련 변인들 간의 구조모형 분석 (Structural Equation Model for Job Stress in Intensive Care Unit Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was to construct a structural equational model for explaining and predicting job stress of intensive care unit (ICU) nurses based on the Integrated model of stress of Ivancevich and Matteson (1980). Methods: The subjects of this study were 220 nurses at ICU. The data were collected from August 5 to 30, 2013 through self-reporting questionnaire survey. Results: According to the hypothetical model of this study, perceived nursing practice environment, perceived role conflict, perceived transformational leadership and perceived self-esteem showed statistically significant effects on job stress of ICU nurses directly. Professional self-concept indirectly affect job stress of ICU nurses. In conclusion, job stress of ICU nurses was directly influenced by nursing practice environment, role conflict, transformational leadership and self-esteem. Professional self-concept of the relationships among variables did not have a direct impact on job stress. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is needed to develop stress management measures and programs considering these variables in order to adequately manage job stress of ICU nurses.
