  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the teacher training programs focusing on reflect qualities of teachers in gifted education. A total of 20 teacher training programs were collected from the office of education, the teacher training center of university and the remote training center. These teacher training programs were analyzed using a semantic network analysis. The analysis showed that 'curriculum', 'teaching and learning' and 'development of curriculum' were emphasized in teacher training programs. Therefore, teacher training programs are operated with an emphasis on teacher's professional qualities. The analysis also revealed that many of the teacher training programs were dealt with professional and teaching faculty's qualities more than affective qualities. Therefore, it is necessary to reorganize the teacher training programs to be diversified and balanced. Furthermore, in order to improve teacher's quality equally, we suggest a systematic training program should be pot in place.

Methods: This study involved a test group and a control group, each consisting of 214 students in higher grades of elementary school. These students were subjected to before and after simulation tests conducted between September 9 and October 22, 2004. Results: We predict that the test group who received safety education training will possess a greater knowledge about safety and will conduct themselves in a relatively safer manner relative tothe control group that did not receive safety education training. Conclusion: The above results implicate the importance of a continuous and systematic safety education program and demonstrate the ability of such programs to encourage safe conduct among elementary school children.

The results of analyzing top 10 educational needs for the workers are as follows: firstly technics for managing crises, understanding and practice for clients (characteristics, human right, safety and health), case management (basic), counseling technique (basic), case management (advanced), counseling technique (advanced), planning and operating social welfare program, managing client response and emotional labor, improving competence for communication (between staffs and clients, etc.), and finally assessing project outcome (project plan, execution, management and assessment, etc.). Social workers in social welfare facilities in the area have highly recognized the necessity of profession centred education. However, they had low satisfaction with the diversity of profession education in the Jeju island and the systematic training courses. This survey suggests the various results concerning qualitative growth of profession education, expansion of job-centred curriculum and security of professional instructors to fulfil systematic education training for social workers.

  • Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) is an international pilot certification adopted by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in 2006 under the recognition of the need for efficient and systematic pilot training including the education of pilots with advanced aviation technology and ability to respond to flight environment, resolution of the human factor problems of pilots, and provision of stable training tools for transport aircraft pilots for potential risk of pilot shortage in the future. South Korea also has prepared a legal basis for operating an MPL system in the Aviation Act in 2009, but there has been no domestic MPL qualifier. The biggest reason for this seems to be the insufficient domestic MPL training system. Therefore, it is necessary to benchmark the international standards of the ICAO, and to promote the development of the Korean MPL training system through revision and supplementation of laws and regulations in consideration of Korean circumstances.

  • This study examined the dangerous elements in primary science textbooks and had some suggestions for the minimization of safety accidents in the science class experiments. The research results are as follows: 1) The rate of accident in the primary science experiments was not high, but potential for the outbreak of safety accidents was always present. 2) it is necessary to include safety contents on science textbooks. The survey revealed that only 18 percent of safety education materials include on science textbooks. 3) It will be desirable for science experiment lessons to include safety education materials for safety experiments. This could also help the students develop the right recognition and attitude regarding safety. 4) There was lack of safety devices those were required to be kept at science labs. The survey showed that about 20 percent of the schools had the experimental clothing. 5) Safety training is often conducted in an overly simplified manner, and no special time is allocated to it. In conclusion, to improve the problems pertaining to school safety accident, courses on safety training are essential as textbooks and teachers. Constant and systematic instructions on safety should be done in order to prevent potential safety accidents.

  • The current tendency on development and change of equipment system in the factory are overlapped with the specific field of the existing systems such as PLC, DCS and SCADA, and the limited portion of the systems in the specific field stands in their own field. Specially, systematic integration, inspection control system and manufacturing management system, management information system are getting closely linked and therefore we increasingly need the open system. Meeting the needs, manufacturing automated equipments in the factory overcoming the shortcomings of unlinked unit equipment recently are getting changed to the phase closely linking with other systems. The training systems for the university, however, have not kept up with the needs from the industry, in spite that fused complex function and performance are asked in the field. To solve the problems, we suggest that the training courses and the equipment designed for the undergraduate education.

  • In this study, K-Digital Training program, which is a representative government project of vocational training for new digital technologies in response to the 4th industrial revolution, is analyzed and an improvement model is suggested. The K-Digital training project is rapidly expanding, with the number of training operators increasing by 7.1 times and training course programs by 8.5 times within three years of implementation, but there is a severe problem in that education and training programs are concentrated in the metropolitan. To solve this problem, a shared training model is proposed. This model is a plan to maximize the use of local human and material resources, to respond to new digital technologies through systematic composition and operation, and to enhance the stability and reliability of education and training. In each region, a sharing and cooperation model in the form of a consortium is established that jointly utilizes resources scattered by various training institutions such as instructors, training contents, and training infrastructure related to digital new technology. In addition, a training certification evaluation system is introduced to increase the credibility of the rapidly developing digital new technology training.

  • This study aimed at inquiring into the basic theory on CIEO(the Cooperation between Industry and Educational Organizations), grasping and analyzing the present situation of the health junior college, the present condition of CIEO and into problem and seeking to find a solution to activate the CIEO of the health junior colleges. This study suggested five methods as the method of consolidating the on-the-spot-training as below : 1. The execution of the basic research for the on-the-spot-training. And the reorganization of the existing curriculum into the curriculum the industrial organization requires. 2. The participation in solving commonly the problems of the industrial organization and in education. The establishing of the guidance system assuming exclusive charge of the on-the-spot-training. 3. The extension of the period of the on-the-spot-training and the reorganization of an educational system. The submission of the evaluation sheet for the on-the-spot-training. 4. The securing of the educational dost spent on the on-the-spot-training and the imposition of benefits on the industrial organization. 5. The persistent support for the on-the-spot-training at the governmental dimension. It is required that the CIEO law should be enacted as the legal and institutional solution and that government should lend systematic support to the business enterprise exeuting the industrial educational cooperation such as the institutional support for and the imposition of benifits on the cost of research. The cost of research and development, the cost of internal education and training, and the cost of experiment and practice.
