  • In this paper, we introduce the generalized H$\ddot{o}$lder space with a majorant function and prove the H$\ddot{o}$lder regularity for solutions of the Cauchy-Riemann equation in the generalized Holder spaces on a bounded convex domain in $\mathbb{C}^2$.

  • In this article, we first give the $L^p$ boundedness of the operator $D^2L^{-1}$ with BMO coefficients and a potential V satisfying an appropriate reverse $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ condition, then obtain global $W^{1,2}_p$ estimates for the nondivergence parabolic operator L with VMO coefficients and a potential V satisfying an appropriate reverse $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ condition.

  • We investigate the Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger type operator $H_2\;=\;(-\Delta_{\mathbb{H}^n})^2+V^2$ on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^n$, where $\Delta_{\mathbb{H}^n}$ is the sublaplacian and the nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse H$\ddot{o}$lder class $B_q$ for $q\geq\frac{Q}{2}$, where Q is the homogeneous dimension of $\mathbb{H}^n$. We shall establish the estimates of the fundamental solution for the operator $H_2$ and obtain the $L^p$ estimates for the operator $\nabla^4_{\mathbb{H}^n}H^{-1}_2$, where $\nabla_{\mathbb{H}^n}$ is the gradient operator on $\mathbb{H}^n$.

  • Let $\{\Omega_{\tau}\}_{\tau{\in}I}$ be a family of strictly convex domains in $\mathbb{C}^n$. We obtain explicit estimates for the solution of the $\bar{\partial}$-equation on $\Omega{\times}I$ in H$\ddot{o}$lder space. We also obtain explicit point-wise derivative estimates for the $\bar{\partial}$-equation both in space and parameter variables.

  • The semilocal convergence of the secant method under $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ continuous divided differences in a Banach space setting for solving nonlinear equations has been examined by us in [3]. The local convergence was recently examined in [4]. Motivated by optimization considerations and using the same hypotheses but more precise estimates than in [4] we provide a local convergence analysis with the following advantages: larger radius of convergence and finer error estimates on the distances involved. The results can be used for projection methods, to develop the cheapest possible mesh refinement strategies and to solve equations involving autonomous differential equations [1], [4], [7], [8].

  • The aim of this note is to provide detailed proofs for local estimates near the boundary for weak solutions of second order parabolic equations in divergence form with time-dependent measurable coefficients subject to Neumann boundary condition. The corresponding parabolic equations with Dirichlet boundary condition are also considered.

  • Let ${\mathcal{L}}_2=(-{\Delta})^2+V^2$ be the $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$ type operator, where nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ class $RH_s$, s > n/2. In this paper, we consider the operator $T_{{\alpha},{\beta}}=V^{2{\alpha}}{\mathcal{L}}^{-{\beta}}_2$ and its conjugate $T^*_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$, where $0<{\alpha}{\leq}{\beta}{\leq}1$. We establish the $(L^p,\;L^q)$-boundedness of operator $T_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$ and $T^*_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$, respectively, we also show that $T_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$ is bounded from Hardy type space $H^1_{L_2}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ into $L^{p_2}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ and $T^*_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$ is bounded from $L^{p_1}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ into BMO type space $BMO_{{\mathcal{L}}1}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$, where $p_1={\frac{n}{4({\beta}-{\alpha})}}$, $p_2={\frac{n}{n-4({\beta}-{\alpha})}}$.

  • We prove the boundary Harnack principle and the Carleson type estimate for ratios of solutions u/v of non-divergence second order elliptic equations $Lu=a_{ij}D_{ij}+b_iD_iu=0$ in a bounded domain ${\Omega}{\subset}R_n$. We assume that $b_i{\in}L^n({\Omega})$ and ${\Omega}$ is a $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ domain of order ${\alpha}{\in}$ (0, 1) satisfying a strong regularity condition.
