STRONG HYPERCYCLICITY OF BANACH SPACE OPERATORS

  • A bounded linear operator T on a separable infinite dimensional Banach space X is called strongly hypercyclic if $$X{\backslash}\{0\}{\subseteq}{\bigcup_{n=0}^{\infty}}T^n(U)$$ for all nonempty open sets U ⊆ X. We show that if T is strongly hypercyclic, then so are Tn and cT for every n ≥ 2 and each unimodular complex number c. These results are similar to the well known Ansari and León-Müller theorems for hypercyclic operators. We give some results concerning multiplication operators and weighted composition operators. We also present a result about the invariant subset problem.

  • The purpose of this research is to find an extension of the renowned Chernoff theorem on standard operator algebra. Infact, we prove the following result: Let H be a real (or complex) Banach space and 𝓛(H) be the algebra of bounded linear operators on H. Let 𝓐(H) ⊂ 𝓛(H) be a standard operator algebra. Suppose that D : 𝓐(H) → 𝓛(H) is a linear mapping satisfying the relation D(AnBn) = D(An)Bn + AnD(Bn) for all A, B ∈ 𝓐(H). Then D is a linear derivation on 𝓐(H). In particular, D is continuous. We also present the limitations on such identity by an example.

  • A continuous and non-decreasing function ${\psi}$ and another continuous function ${\phi}$ with ${\phi}(z)=0{\Leftrightarrow}z=0$ defined on $\mathbb{C}^+=\{x+yi:x,y{\geq}0\}$ are introduced, the ${\psi}-{\phi}$-contractive or expansive type conditions are considered, and the existence theorems of common fixed points for two mappings defined on a complex valued metric space are obtained. Also, Banach contraction principle and a fixed point theorem for a I-expansive type mapping are given on complex valued metric spaces.

  • The concepts of new classes of mappings are introduced in the spaces which are more general space than the usual metric spaces. The existence and uniqueness of common fixed points and fixed point results are established in the setting of complete complex valued b-metric spaces. An illustration is given by establishing the existence of solution of periodic differential equations in the framework of a complete complex valued b-metric spaces.

  • In this paper, we solve the additive ρ-functional inequalities (0.1)${\parallel}f(x+y)+f(x-y)-2f(x){\parallel}$ $\leq$ ${\parallel}{\rho}(2f(\frac{x+y}{2})+f(x-y)-2f(x)){\parallel}$, where ρ is a fixed complex number with |ρ| < 1, and (0.2) ${\parallel}2f(\frac{x+y}{2})+f(x-y)-2f(x)){\parallel}$ $\leq$ ${\parallel}{\rho}f(x+y)+f(x-y)-2f(x){\parallel}$, where ρ is a fixed complex number with |ρ| < 1. Furthermore, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the additive ρ-functional inequalities (0.1) and (0.2) in complex Banach spaces.

Furthermore, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the quadratic ρ-functional inequalities (0.1) and (0.2) in complex Banach spaces.

  • Let V be a localizing infinite-dimensional complex Banach space. Let X be a flag manifold of finite flags either of finite codimensional closed linear subspaces of V or of finite dimensional linear subspaces of V. Let E be a holomorphic vector bundle on X with finite rank. Here we prove that E is uniform, i.e. that for any two lines $D_1$ R in the same system of lines on X the vector bundles E$\mid$D and E$\mid$R have the same splitting type.

The Maximal Ideal Space of Extended Differentiable Lipschitz Algebras

  • In this paper, we first introduce new classes of Lipschitz algebras of infinitely differentiable functions which are extensions of the standard Lipschitz algebras of infinitely differentiable functions. Then we determine the maximal ideal space of these extended algebras. Finally, we show that if X and K are uniformly regular subsets in the complex plane, then R(X, K) is natural.
