The purpose of this research was to investigate mathematics teachers' beliefs regarding the implementation of STEM approaches in secondary school mathematics classes and to identify the factors influencing their beliefs. A survey on teachers' beliefs about applying STEM in mathematics classes was developed and distributed online to mathematics teachers from middle and high schools in two metropolitan areas. Eighty-two surveys were returned from the teachers. Factor analysis revealed that the items were distributed among five main aspects. The findings indicated that most teachers believed in the necessity of implementing STEM education. However, some teachers expressed concerns about the effectiveness of implementation due to the lack of materials, resources, and equipment needed for STEM implementation.

STEAM education, which was introduced to address many of the issues raised in science and technology education, has had a profound impact on the field of education over the past 13 years. This study aims to systematically analyze the research trends of STEAM education integrated with mathematics from 2010 to 2022 and to provide implications for future STEAM education. To this end, 89 articles published in domestic KCI journals were collected and analyzed. The results showed that more than half of the STEAM studies were related to the development and application of STEAM programs. The next most frequent studies were related to current state and improvement oaf STEAM education, followed by curriculum and textbook analysis, and by teacher education and teacher competencies. Students' and teachers' perceptions and attitudes toward STEAM education were addressed in only a few papers.

In this study, we aimed to develop a teacher-adaptive platform model that enhances teachers' instructional activities and teaching capabilities, allowing them to conduct intended lessons effectively. The platform is designed to support various teaching and learning activities based on the instructional situation, and additionally provides teaching and learning materials, assessment questions, and results. The developed teaching and learning platform utilized Moodle, an open-source-based LMS solution that provides various tools for online learning. The platform was specifically designed for teaching conic sections in high school geometry, and it was constructed to enable teachers to deliver their intended lessons effectively.

The core of the change in the era of the 4th industrial revolution is the change in the base of 'digital technology'. These changes are incomparably large and are expected to have a more important impact on our lives than ever before. One of the major inflection points in the transition to the digital era is the education field, and IT technology has become an essential element in the educational field. Accordingly, this study examines domestic research trends related to the educational environment based on digital technology. Then, we would like to provide implications for the establishment of a digital-based educational environment that will change in the future. To this end, Semantic network analysis has been conducted to quantitatively structure text data obtained from studies related to digital technology in the field of mathematics education over the past 10 years, and the discussion will continue based on the results.

Expectations and interests in blended learning are increasing as universities respond to the educational flow of transition to e-lernring. This study tried to explore and understand the meaning of and the properties of blended instruction. In addition, through the literature review, this study was to find out how bleanded learning affected in teaching and learning situation. Particularly, it was to find out students' preference to the type of blended instruction. Those types are the mixed of or the unique of class instruction(off line), on line, and recorded instruction. To investigate learners' preference to the type of the instruction and also the reason of the preference, in this study, the 27 undergraduate students of the fourth grade in the major of mathematics education in the C university located in G area. By the result, most students preferred the mixed type of instruction involving off line and recorded instruction. The reason is that they could attend to the class while participating in the group activity positively and understand the content through the communication in depth and the instructor's feedback. Because of this reason, they did not prefer to the only one type insturction such as the recorded type.

Although Euclidean plane geometry is implemented in the middle school course, there are three major problems in high school space geometry that can be intuitively taken for granted or misinterpreted as circular arguments. In order to solve this problem, this study proved three major problems using sets, Euclidean plane geometry, and parallel line postulates. This corresponds to a logical sequence and has mathematical and mathematical educational values. Furthermore, it will be possible to configure spatial geometry using sets, and by giving legitimacy to non-Euclidean spatial geometry, it will open the possibility of future research.
