  • In this paper we introduce a new tensor named semi-projective curvature tensor which generalizes the projective curvature tensor. First we deduce some basic geometric properties of semi-projective curvature tensor. Then we study pseudo semi-projective symmetric manifolds $(PSPS)_n$ which recover some known results of Chaki [5]. We provide several interesting results. Among others we prove that in a $(PSPS)_n$ if the associated vector field ${\rho}$ is a unit parallel vector field, then either the manifold reduces to a pseudosymmetric manifold or pseudo projective symmetric manifold. Moreover we deal with semi-projectively flat perfect fluid and dust fluid spacetimes respectively. As a consequence we obtain some important theorems. Next we consider the decomposability of $(PSPS)_n$. Finally, we construct a non-trivial Lorentzian metric of $(PSPS)_4$.

  • In the present paper, we study certain curvature conditions satisfying by the projective curvature tensor in Sasakian manifolds with respect to the generalized-Tanaka-Webster connection. Finally, we give an example of a 3-dimensional Sasakian manifold with respect to the generalized-Tanaka-Webster connection.

  • In this paper, we give characteristic differential equations of a kind of projective vector fields on Finsler manifolds. Using these equations, we prove the vanishing theorem of projective vector fields on any compact Finsler manifold with the negative mean Ricci curvature, which is defined in [10]. This result involves the vanishing theorem of Killing vector fields in the Riemannian case and the work of [1, 14].

  • In the present paper, we study curvature properties of ${\eta}$-Ricci solitons on para-Kenmotsu manifolds. We obtain some results of ${\eta}$-Ricci solitons on para-Kenmotsu manifolds satisfying $R({\xi},X).C=0$, $R({\xi},X).{\tilde{M}}=0$, $R({\xi},X).P=0$, $R({\xi},X).{\tilde{C}}=0$ and $R({\xi},X).H=0$, where $C,\;{\tilde{M}},\;P,\;{\tilde{C}}$ and H are a quasi-conformal curvature tensor, a M-projective curvature tensor, a pseudo-projective curvature tensor, and a concircular curvature tensor and conharmonic curvature tensor, respectively.

  • Recently, Lesieutre constructed a 6-dimensional projective variety X over any field of characteristic zero whose automorphism group Aut(X) is discrete but not finitely generated. As an application, he also showed that X is an example of a projective variety with infinitely many non-isomorphic real structures. On the other hand, there are also several finiteness results of real structures of projective varieties. The aim of this short paper is to give a sufficient condition for the finiteness of real structures on a projective manifold in terms of the structure of the automorphism group. To be more precise, in this paper we show that, when X is a projective manifold of any dimension≥ 2, if Aut(X) does not contain a subgroup isomorphic to the non-abelian free group ℤ ∗ ℤ, then there are only finitely many real structures on X, up to ℝ-isomorphisms.

  • We define a class of semi-symmetric metric connection on a Riemannian manifold for which the conformal, the projective, the concircular, the quasi conformal and the m-projective curvature tensors are invariant. We also study the properties of semisymmetric, Ricci semisymmetric and Eisenhart problems for solving second order parallel symmetric and skew-symmetric tensors on the Riemannian manifolds equipped with a semi-symmetric metric P-connection.

  • The object of the present paper is to study N(k)-quasi-Einstein manifolds. We study an N(k)-quasi-Einstein manifold satisfying the curvature conditions $R({\xi},X){\cdot}Z=0$, $Z(X,{\xi}){\cdot}R=0$, and $P({\xi},X){\cdot}Z=0$, where R, P and Z denote the Riemannian curvature tensor, the projective curvature tensor and Z tensor respectively. Next we prove that the curvature condition $C{\cdot}Z=0$ holds in an N(k)-quasi-Einstein manifold, where C is the conformal curvature tensor. We also study Z-recurrent N(k)-quasi-Einstein manifolds. Finally, we construct an example of an N(k)-quasi-Einstein manifold and mention some physical examples.

  • In the present paper, we study conformal and projective Killing vector fields and infinitesimal Q-transformations on a quaternionic Kahlerian manifold, and prove that an infinitesimal conformal or projective automorphism in a compact quaternionic Kahlerian manifold is necessarily infinitesimal automorphism.
