To analyze the cause of the destruction of thin, carbon-backed lithium fluoride targets during a measurement of the fusion of 7Li and 17O, we estimate theoretically the lifetimes of carbon and LiF films due to sputtering, thermal evaporation, and lattice damage and compare them with the lifetime observed in the experiment. Sputtering yields and thermal evaporation rates in carbon and LiF films are too low to play significant roles in the destruction of the targets. We estimate the lifetime of the target due to lattice damage of the carbon backing and the LiF film using a previously reported model. In the experiment, elastically scattered target and beam ions were detected by surface silicon barrier (SSB) detectors so that the product of the beam flux and the target density could be monitored during the experiment. The areas of the targets exposed to different beam intensities and fluences were degraded and then perforated, forming holes with a diameter around the beam spot size. Overall, the target thickness tends to decrease linearly as a function of the beam fluence. However, the thickness also exhibits an increasing interval after SSB counts per beam ion decreases linearly, extending the target lifetime. The lifetime of thin LiF film as determined by lattice damage is calculated for the first time using a lattice damage model, and the calculated lifetime agrees well with the observed target lifetime during the experiment. In experiments using a thin LiF target to induce nuclear reactions, this study suggests methods to predict the lifetime of the LiF film and arrange the experimental plan for maximum efficiency.
$SF_6$ gas is widely used for dry etching process of semiconductor and display fabrication process. But $SF_6$ gas is considered for typical greenhouse gas for global warming. So it is necessary to research relating to $SF_6$ alternatives reducing greenhouse effect in semiconductor and display. $C_3F_6$ gas is one of the promising candidates for it. We studied about etch characteristics by performing Reactive Ion Etching process of dry etching and reduced gas element exhausted on etching process using absorbent Zeolite 5A. $Si_3N_4$ thin film was deposited to 500 nm with Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition and we performed Reactive Ion Etching process after patterning through photolithography process. It was observed that the etch rate and the etched surface of $Si_3N_4$ thin film with Scanning Electron Microscope pictures. And we measured and compared the exhausted gas before and after the absorbent using Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrophotometry.

Long term hydrogen production was investigated in an anaerobic sequencing batch reactor (ASBR) using mixed microflora. Glucose (about 8,250 mg/L) was used as a substrate for the ASBR operation under the condition of pH 5.5 and $37^{\circ}C$ with mixing at 150 rpm. The experiment was carried out over a period of 160 days. Hydrogen yield was 0.8mol $H_2/mol$ glucose with F/M ratio 2 at initial operation period. The hydrogen yield reached to maximum 2.6 mol $H_2/mol$ glucose at 80th day operation. However decreased hydrogen yield was observed after 80 days operation and eventually no hydrogen yield. Although well-known hydrogen producer Clostridium sp. was detected in the reactor by PCR-DGGE analysis, changed reactor operation was the major reason of the decreased hydrogen production, such as low F/M ratio of 0.5 and high propionic acid concentration 2,130 mg/L. Consequently the long period operation resulted in MLSS accumulation and then low F/M ration stimulating propionic acid formation which consumes hydrogen produced in the reactor.
Silicon films were deposited at $430^{\circ}C$ by remote plasma chemical vapor deposition(RPECVD) with a gas mixture of $Si_2H_6/SiF_4/H_2$. The silicon films deposited without and with $SiF_4$ were characterized using atomic force microscopy(AFM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). Both silicon films have the same rugged surface morphology, but, the silicon film deposited with $SiF_4$ exhibits more rugged. The silicon film deposited without $SiF_4$ is amorphous, whereas the silicon film deposited with $SiF_4$ is polycrystalline with very small needle-like grains which are perpendicular to the substrate and uniformly distributed in the thickness of the film. The silicon film deposited with $SiF_4$ was found to have a preferred orientation along the growth direction with the<110> of the film parallel to the <111> of the substrate. The effect of $SiF_4$ during RPECVD was discussed.

Pregnancy block by male pheromones in mice differs in incidence depending on the combination of strains. Female mice of BALB/cA strain mated with BALB/cA males show a 100% pregnancy block when exposed to males of inbred strain DDK shortly after copulation (Chung et al., Biol Reprod 1997). In the present study, BALB/cA females mated with the males of other strains (CBA/J, C3H/HeN, C57BL/6Cr, and IXBL) showed higher pregnancy rates (66.6-87.5%) even when they were exposed to DDK males. In the pharmacological induction of pregnancy block with dopamine agonist (Bromocriptine, 4mg/kg BW), BALB/cA females mated with BALB/cA males showed a 100% pregnancy block. In contrast, BALB/cA females mated with CBA/J, C3H/HeN, and C57BL/6Cr males showed higher pregnancy rates (40-70%). These results suggest that the better pregnancy rate of BALB/cA females mated with alien males may be due to the stronger viability of F 1 embryos. This interpretation was confirmed by an embryo transfer experiment in which a higher implantation rate was observed when BALB/cA embryos grown in BALB/cA females exposed to BALB/cA males were transferred into recipient BALB/cA females exposed to DDK males. These results suggest that the embryonic genotype or viability of the embryo is one factor contributing to the occurrence of pregnancy block by male pheromones in mice.
In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the hyponormality of the block Toeplitz operators $T_{\Phi}$, where ${\Phi}$ = $F+G^*$, F(z), G(z) are some matrix valued polynomials on the vector valued Bergman space $L^2_a(\mathbb{D},\mathbb{C}^n)$. We also show some necessary conditions for the hyponormality of $T_{F+G^*}$ with $F+G^*{\in}h^{\infty}{\otimes}M_{n{\times}n}$ on $L^2_a(\mathbb{D},\mathbb{C}^n)$.
New square planar nickel(Ⅱ) complexes with various 1-alkyl (4a-4c) and 1-hydroxyalkyl (4d-4f) derivatives of the 14-membered pentaaza macrocycle 8-ethyl-8-nitro-1,3,6,10,13-pentaazacyclotetradecane have been synthesized by two-step metal template condensation reactions of ethylenediamine, nitroethane, formaldehyde, and appropriate primary amines. The nitro group and/or hydroxyl group of 4a-4f are not directly involved in the coordination. The nickel(Ⅱ) complexes exist in coordinating solvents such as MeCN, Me2SO, and H2O as equilibrium mixtures of the square planar [Ni(L)]2+(L=4a-4f) and octahedral species [Ni(L)S2]2+(S=solvent molecule). Although the ligand field strength and redox potentials of the complexes are not affected by the nature of the substituents, the formation of octahedral species for 4d-4f in MeCN is strongly restricted by the hydroxyl group. Synthesis, characterization, and solution behaviors of the nickel(Ⅱ) complexes are described.

In the present paper, we have proved the sharp inequality ${\mid}H_{3,1}(f){\mid}{\leq}4$ and ${\mid}H_{3,1}(f){\mid}{\leq}1$ for analytic functions f with $a_n:=f^{(n)}(0)/n!$, $n{\in}{\mathbb{N}},$, such that $$Re\frac{f(z)}{z}>{\alpha},\;z{\in}{\mathbb{D}}:=\{z{\in}{\mathbb{C}}:{\mid}z{\mid}<1\}$$ for ${\alpha}=0$ and ${\alpha}=1/2$, respectively, where $$H_{3,1}(f):=\left|{\array{{\alpha}_1&{\alpha}_2&{\alpha}_3\\{\alpha}_2&{\alpha}_3&{\alpha}_4\\{\alpha}_3&{\alpha}_4&{\alpha}_5}}\right|$$ is the third Hankel determinant.
On the setting of the half-space of the Euclidean n-space, we consider harmonic Bergman spaces and we also study properties of the reproducing kernel. Using covering lemma, we find some equivalent quantities. We prove that if lim$ lim\limits_{i\rightarrow\infty}\frac{\mu(K_r(zi))}{V(K_r(Z_i))}$ then the inclusion function $I : b^p\rightarrow L^p(H_n, d\mu)$ is a compact operator. Moreover, we show that if f is a nonnegative continuous function in $L^\infty and lim\limits_{Z\rightarrow\infty}f(z) = 0, then T_f$ is compact if and only if f $\in$$C_{o}$ (H$_{n}$ ).
Cornis fructus have various biological effects and major chemical components have been tannins, saponins, ursolic acids, gallic acids, linoleic acids, morronisides, cornins and loganins. The main aim of the present study is measurment the effect of chloroform extract from Cornis fructus on proliferation inhibition and Cell death. Cells were cultured in the presence of chloroform extracts from Cornis fructus for 48 h. after 48h treatment of B16/F10 melanoma cells with chloroform extracts, the cells were observed a dose-dependent inhibitions of cell viability with cell death in their proliferation. the cells were estimated cell viability, cell number, total DNA fragmentation and chromatin condensation in a dose-dependent manner. It also caused cell death as measured by cell morphology, DNA fragmentation and nucleus chromatin condensation. therefore, these results suggest that chloroform extracts from C. fructus is inhibitory proliferation and is related to cell death in this cells.
