  • The goal of this paper is to introduce the notion of generalized symmetric bi-f-derivations in lattices and to study some properties of generalized symmetric f-derivations of lattice. Moreover, we consider generalized isotone symmetric bi-f-derivations and fixed sets related to generalized symmetric bi-f-derivations.

  • An endomorphism ${\alpha}$ of a ring R is called right(left) symmetric if whenever abc=0 for a, b, c ${\in}$ R, $ac{\alpha}(b)=0({\alpha}(b)ac=0)$. A ring R is called right(left) ${\alpha}-symmetric$ if there exists a right(left) symmetric endomorphism ${\alpha}$ of R. The notion of an ${\alpha}-symmetric$ ring is a generalization of ${\alpha}-rigid$ rings as well as an extension of symmetric rings. We study characterizations of ${\alpha}-symmetric$ rings and their related properties including extensions. The relationship between ${\alpha}-symmetric$ rings and(extended) Armendariz rings is also investigated, consequently several known results relating to ${\alpha}-rigid$ and symmetric rings can be obtained as corollaries of our results.

  • The symmetric ring property was due to Lambek and provided many useful results in relation with noncommutative ring theory. In this note we consider this property over centers, introducing symmetric-over-center. It is shown that symmetric and symmetric-over-center are independent of each other. The structure of symmetric-over-center ring is studied in relation to various radicals of polynomial rings.

  • An operator T on a complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$ is called skew symmetric if T can be represented as a skew symmetric matrix relative to some orthonormal basis for $\mathcal{H}$. In this note, we explore the structure of skew symmetric operators with disconnected spectra. Using the classical Riesz decomposition theorem, we give a decomposition of certain skew symmetric operators with disconnected spectra. Several corollaries and illustrating examples are provided.

  • Analysis is given of construction and stability of complex symmetric analogues of Householder matrices, with applications to the eigenproblem for such matrices. We investigate numerical properties of the deflation of complex symmetric matrices by using complex symmetric Householder transformations. The proposed method is very similar to the well-known deflation technique for real symmetric matrices (Cf. [16], pp. 586-595). In this paper we present an error analysis of one step of the deflation of complex symmetric matrices.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of symmetric bi-generalized derivation of lattice implication algebra L and investigated some related properties. Also, we prove that a map $F:L{\times}L{\rightarrow}L$ is a symmetric bi-generalized derivation associated with symmetric bi-derivation D on L if and only if F is a symmetric map and it satisfies $F(x{\rightarrow}y,z)=x{\rightarrow}F(y,z)$ for all $x,y,z{\in}L$.

  • We define a class of semi-symmetric metric connection on a Riemannian manifold for which the conformal, the projective, the concircular, the quasi conformal and the m-projective curvature tensors are invariant. We also study the properties of semisymmetric, Ricci semisymmetric and Eisenhart problems for solving second order parallel symmetric and skew-symmetric tensors on the Riemannian manifolds equipped with a semi-symmetric metric P-connection.

  • In this paper we study generating and proving methods of symmetric inequalities. We analyze various literatures related with proofs of symmetric inequalities. As a result, we can describe generating method of symmetric inequalities, and suggest some symmetric inequalities that are generated by using parameterization to elementary symmetric polynomials. And we are able to classify some proving methods, and show proofs of symmetric inequalities.

  • In this paper first we show properties of isosymmetric operators given by M. Stankus [13]. Next we introduce an [m, C]-symmetric operator T on a complex Hilbert space H. We investigate properties of the spectrum of an [m, C]-symmetric operator and prove that if T is an [m, C]-symmetric operator and Q is an n-nilpotent operator, respectively, then T + Q is an [m + 2n - 2, C]-symmetric operator. Finally, we show that if T is [m, C]-symmetric and S is [n, D]-symmetric, then $T{\otimes}S$ is [m + n - 1, $C{\otimes}D$]-symmetric.
