  • The main purpose of this paper is to study differentiable one-parameter groups and cosine families of operators acting on white noise functions and their associated infinitesimal generators. In particular, we prove the heredity of differentiable one-parameter group and cosine family of operators under the second quantization of the Cuchy problems for the first and second or der differential equations.

  • In this paper, we establish some conditional versions of the first part of the Borel-Cantelli lemma. As its applications, we study strong limit results of $\mathfrak{F}$-independent random variables sequences, the convergence of sums of $\mathfrak{F}$-independent random variables and the conditional version of strong limit results of the concomitants of order statistics.

  • In this paper, we study duality in the absolute Schur algebras that were first introduced in [1] and extended in [5]. This is done in a way analogous to the classical Schatten's Theorem on the Banach space $B(l_2)$ of bounded linear operators on $l_2$ involving the duality relation among the class of compact operators K, the trace class $C_1$ and $B(l_2)$. We also study the reflexivity in such the algebras.

  • Biharmonic curves are a generalization of geodesics, with applications in elasticity theory and computer science. The paper proposes a first study of biharmonic curves in spaces with Finslerian geometry, covering the following topics: a deduction of their equations, specific properties and existence of non-geodesic biharmonic curves for some classes of Finsler spaces. Integration of the biharmonic equation is presented for two concrete Finsler metrics.

  • In this paper, we consider the existence of time periodic solutions for the compressible magneto-micropolar fluids in the whole space ℝ3. In particular, we first solve the problem in a sequence of bounded domains by the topological degree theory. Then we obtain the existence of time periodic solutions in ℝ3 by a limiting process.

  • The atom-bond connectivity index of a graph G (ABC index for short) is defined as the summation of quantities $\sqrt{\frac{d(u)+d(v)-2}{d(u)d(v)}}$ over all edges of G. A cactus graph is a connected graph in which every block is an edge or a cycle. The aim of this paper is to obtain the first and second maximum values of the ABC index among all n vertex cactus graphs.

  • This paper gives a counterexample to show that the first order commutator $C_2$ is not bounded from $H^1({\mathbb{R}}){\times}H^1({\mathbb{R}})$ into $L^{1/2}({\mathbb{R}})$. Then we introduce the atomic definition of abstract weighted Hardy spaces $H^1_{ato,{\omega}}$$({\mathbb{R}})$ and study its properties. At last, we prove that $C_2$ maps $H^1_{ato,{\omega}}$$({\mathbb{R}}){\times}H^1_{ato,{\omega}}$$({\mathbb{R}})$ into $L^{1/2}_{\omega}$$({\mathbb{R}})$.

  • In this paper, the Gauge-Uzawa methods for the Darcy-Brinkman equations driven by temperature and salt concentration (DBTC) are proposed. The first order backward difference formula is adopted to approximate the time derivative term, and the linear term is treated implicitly, the nonlinear terms are treated semi-implicit. In each time step, the coupling elliptic problems of velocity, temperature and salt concentration are solved, and then the pressure is solved. The unconditional stability and error estimations of the first order semi-discrete scheme are derived, at the same time, the unconditional stability of the first order fully discrete scheme is obtained. Some numerical experiments verify the theoretical prediction and show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

  • We show that the Liechti-Strenner's example for the closed nonorientable surface in [13] minimizes the dilatation within the class of pseudo-Anosov homeomorphisms with an orientable invariant foliation and all but the first coefficient of the characteristic polynomial of the action induced on the first cohomology nonpositive. We also show that the Liechti-Strenner's example of orientation-reversing homeomorphism for the closed orientable surface in [13] minimizes the dilatation within the class of pseudo-Anosov homeomorphisms with an orientable invariant foliation and all but the first coefficient of the characteristic polynomial p(x) of the action induced on the first cohomology nonpositive or all but the first coefficient of p(x)(x ± 1)2, p(x)(x2 ± 1), or p(x)(x2 ± x + 1) nonpositive.

  • This paper introduces a representation style of variable binding using dependent types when formalizing meta-theoretic properties. The style we present is a variation of the Coquand-McKinna-Pollack's locally-named representation. The main characteristic is the use of dependent families in defining expressions such as terms and formulas. In this manner, we can handle many syntactic elements, among which wellformedness, provability, soundness, and completeness are critical, in a compact manner. Another point of our paper is to investigate the roles of free variables and constants. Our idea is that fresh constants can entirely play the role of free variables in formalizing meta-theories of first-order predicate logic. In order to show the feasibility of our idea, we formalized the soundness and completeness of LJT with respect to Kripke semantics using the proof assistant Coq, where LJT is the intuitionistic first-order predicate calculus. The proof assistant Coq supports all the functionalities we need: intentional type theory, dependent types, inductive families, and simultaneous substitution.
