Since 2019, elementary schools have been teaching software to students, so pre-service teachers should have the ability to teach software. Also, in the COVID-19 situation, pre-service teachers need the ability to teach software online. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of online software education for preservice teachers. After providing online software education to preservice teachers, we analyse the results and examines whether online software education is effective. In this study, we define 55 learning elements by analyzing the achievement standards that can evaluate the software education ability of preservice teachers. We figure out whether pre-service teachers have acquired the ability to provide online software education to elementary school students. As a result of the study, we concluded that pre-service teachers who received this online education could conduct software education online in elementary school.

In this paper, we propose an effective software education donation model for the social care class. The types of software education for elementary, middle, and high school for the social care class are in the order of after school classes, club activities, creative experiences, and regular classes. In elementary school students, it is effective to precede visual programming education based on block coding and to conduct curriculum convergence with SW and HW at the beginning, and high school students are carrying out text programming education like Python. Software education for social care class The contribution activity model can be classified into five types such as geographically difficult area, multicultural family areas, orphanage, reformatory, and basic livelihood security recipient. In addition, the survey results show that the students' interest in software education and their satisfaction are all very high at 96%. Effective software education for the social care class In the donation model, the lecturers consist of responsible professors, lecturers, and assistant instructors. Software training for the social care class is effective on a year-by-year basis, so that students can feel authenticity and trust. Software education contents focus on visual programming and physical computing education in elementary or middle school, and text programming and physical computing education in high school. It is necessary to construct a software education donor matching system that helps efficient management of software education donations by efficiently matching schools (consumers: elementary, middle, high school) and software education donors(suppliers).

Software education is highly needed to train talent in the fourth industrial age. In order to emphasize the importance of software education. In recognition of the importance of software education, Korea decided to implement 17 hours of software education in elementary school from 2019 in the revised education curriculums in 2015. Because all teachers in elementary school have to be able to teach software, the government is carrying out systematic training for teachers. It is necessary to analyze the curriculum for preparing the software education at the university that educates teachers The results of this study show that subject education curriculums for software education are 1.64 hour in 11 educational universities and contents of education are composed of computer general education. In this software curriculum, it is not possible to educate teachers who can teach software education in universities that educate elementary teachers in Korea. Therefore, in order to develop the ability of preliminary teachers to educate software, curriculum of education college should be conducted for 5 hours or more similar to other subjects, and education content should be composed of teaching and learning methods for software education.

In the 2015 revision curriculum, software education must be conducted for 17 hours in elementary school fifth or sixth grade. Pre_service elementary teachers should be able to teach software. In this study, learning factors according to the achievement criteria for software education will be defined for pre-service elementary teachers. Pre-service teachers were taught by learning elements. As a result, the pre_service teachers were able to create teaching and evaluation materials for each learning element. It was also found that the pre-service teachers improved their ability to teach software education in elementary school based on these materials.

In the 4th Industrial Revolution, it is a time when all the devices and people interact to create new added value. Software education is necessary in elementary school because what is more important is software. However, until now there is a lack of teaching and learning methods for software education in elementary school. In this paper, IDOL model is proposed as a method to solve this problem. statements for elementary students. The idol model is learning through observe, to implement, to diversify. In the implementation, the elementary students are to make it quickly, In the diversification, it is variously changing the things that have been made, and observation how the changed things are different. A model is verified by a group of experts consisting of elementary school teachers.
The purpose of this study is to find out how to use dynamic geometry software such as the Geometer's Sketchpad in elementary math classroom. Fist of all, I reviewed dynamic geometry software's property. Then I considered methods to improve geometry education using this software. Some researchers proposed three types of using the software. But I think using the software and developing instructional materials is different. So, I proposed two types of developing instructional materials using the software and two representative examples.

In this study, It analyzed the effect of pair programming teaching methods in elementary software education. At first, for the development of SW educational programs it surveyed 162 elementary students and 34 teachers in J area. As a result, developed SW educational programs based on geometry in elementary mathematics and it was applied. For application SW programs it was constructed 22 students experimental group, 22 students comparison group of 44 students in 3, 4, 5th grade the winter break of ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ university education donation application. First, software education using pair programming will be more effective on the development of elementary school students' computational thinking. Second, software education using pair programming will be more effective on the development of elementary school students' creativity. Test results, pair programming is to show a significant difference on the development of computational thinking and creativity in elementary software education.

The purpose of this study is to analyse of elementary student experience in software education based on computational thinking framework. A total of 27 students (5th grade) were interviewed who took software education during 4 months in A elementary school which located in Seoul. The findings revealed were as follows: First, the elementary learners were able to perform scratch projects and learn basic concepts for computing thinking. elementary students' studied basic concepts for computational thinking by the process of carrying out their Scratch project. Second, elementary learners were able to confirm the execution of computing accidents in the process of implementing scratch projects. Third, elementary students had change in creative expression and interactive connectivity in terms of learners' computing thinking. The result of this study is meaningful in that it analyzes the educational experience of elementary school students qualitatively and suggests the direction of software education for enhancing computing thinking ability.
As the era of the 4th industrial revolution began and the importance of software emerged, education also reflected this. Software education has already been provided in several countries, and Korea also started software education in the regular curriculum in 2019, when the 2015 revised curriculum was applied. This study attempted to present an improvement plan for revitalizing software education based on the feelings and difficulties of teachers who conducted software education for the first time in the practical education curriculum in elementary school. For the study, a survey was conducted on 96 teachers in charge of software education in elementary schools in 2019 with 36 questions related to personal competency, class operation method, textbooks and educational materials, class operation content, and educational environment. And three of them were interviewed. As a result improvements are needed, such as improving educational facilities and environment, revitalizing the development and dissemination of high-quality instructional materials, and expanding support for participatory training for teachers and teacher clubs.

The purpose of this study was to examine the research trends on software education for elementary school in Korea. It analyzed articles that were published in Korea from 2014 to 2017 focusing on the research methods, themes, and outcomes. The results are as follows. First, it was found that the number of articles about software education for elementary school is steadily increasing. Second, with regard to research methodology, quantitative research was the most popular research type, primarily through experimental research. Moreover, the most frequent research targets were elementary schoolchild. Thirdly, with regard to the research theme, out of the seven categories of software education for elementary schoolchild research, the category of the effect of software education on elementary schoolchild was investigated most frequently. Finally, the outcomes of the studies were described in accordance with the category investigated. Then discussions on limitations and suggestions for future studies were described.
