Purpose: The present study was performed to identify the perception, attitude, and knowledge regarding the use of physical restraints among nursing personnel working at long-term care facilities. Method: 289 nurses, nurse aids and private caregivers working at 13 wards from 7 facilities participated in the survey. Perception, attitude and knowledge regarding the use of physical restraints were evaluated using the Perceptions of Restraints Use Questionnaire developed by Evans and Strumpf(1993) and Physical Restraint Questionnaire suggested by Janelli, et al(2006). Results: Wrist restraints were used the most frequently. The perception score regarding the use of physical restraints was 3.35, which is a moderate value. Study respondents considered 'safety measure' and 'safe use of a medical device' as the most important aspects when applying physical restraints to elderly. The respondents reported physical restraints were therapeutic at least to some degree but knowledge level about physical restraints of the respondents was rather low. Conclusion: Perception and attitude toward physical restraints were identified. The lack in knowledge about physical restraints needs to be addressed for more efficient use of them.

The results are as follows; First, physical education central STEAM utilizing 3D PRINTING is efficient in the subject interest. Second, physical education central STEAM utilizing 3D PRINTING is efficient in the creative attitude.

(P<0.05) The married female high school teachers got higher score than never-married. (p<0.05) 2. This study analyzed the influence of self-construal on sociocultural attitude toward physical appearance, body satisfaction, and appearance management behavior through a structural equation model. The empirical study was based on the response of 369 adult females between the ages of 20 and 49 in Seoul. Self-construal was presented as an independent self-construal and interdependent self-construal, respectively. The sociocultural attitude toward physical appearance as an intermediate variable in the research model was composed of two sub-factors that included internalization and awareness. The other (body satisfaction) was measured by two factors (body and face). Appearance management behavior (as a final outcome variable) were composed of various factors that included clothing concern, skin care, hair care, and weight training. The findings of this study were: 1) the effect of independent self-construal on the sociocultural attitude toward physical appearance was not significantly meaningful; however, interdependent self-construal influenced it positively. 2) Sociocultural attitude toward physical appearance appeared to have a negative effect on body satisfaction. 3) The body satisfaction also had a negative effect on appearance management behavior in this study.
Objective: This study aims to investigate the effects of a learning cycle model-based early childhood education program using physical motion on young children's scientific inquiry ability, scientific attitude, object manipulation ability and spatial ability. Methods: The subjects of this study were 60 five-year-old children who were attending K-G City Childcare Center. The SPSS Window 21.0 program and content analysis method were used, and post-validation Tukey was conducted to examine the differences between the one-way ANOVA and the group. Results: Activities using body movement were practiced systematically based on the circle learning. Children could revise their pre-concept and concept of error by interacting with other children, teachers and the environment. Furthermore, children were attaining new knowledge while they were doing body movement activities, assessing and applying them to actual activities. Conclusion/Implications: This study is investigated a cyclic learning-based early childhood science education program using physical motion, which has significance in systematic and practical early childhood centered education for young children.
The purpose of this study was to investigate levels of dementia knowledge, dementia attitude, and physical activities and whether dementia knowledge and dementia attitude affect physical activities in old-old elderly who had high risk of dementia. A descriptive study design was used. Participants were 218 old-old elderly above 75 years at 9 elderly welfare facilities in K county from June 1 to 30 in 2016. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, hierarchical regression using SPSS WIN 18.0 program. The mean scores of dementia knowledge, dementia attitude, and physical activity of participants were low, there were positive correlations between dementia knowledge and dementia attitude (r=.380, p<.001), and physical activities (r=.211, p=.002), and between dementia attitude and physical activities (r=.380, p<.001). The significant predictors of physical activities were dementia attitude (${\beta}=.271$, p<.001), gender (${\beta}=.207$, p=.003) and education level (${\beta}=.184$, p=.023). These variables explained 28.8% of physical activities. In conclusion, we need to develop a customized multifactorial physical activity program with considering dementia knowledge and dementia attitude especially for old-old elderly women with low education level.
