본 연구는 한 상담자의 포커싱 워크숍 경험을 통한 포커싱적 태도 훈련 체험에 대한 내러티브적 묘사이다. 연구 참여자들이 3차원적 내러티브 탐구 공간(시간, 장소, 상호작용)에 따라 삶의 이야기를 어떻게 경험하게 되는지, 그리고 그 경험의 의미는 어떻게 구성되는지를 탐색하였다. 본 연구로부터 얻은 결론은 한 상담자의 포커싱 훈련을 통한 자기 자신 경험과의 접촉(자기인식과정)은 심리치료과정에서 내담자 자신의 경험적 접촉을 촉진할 수 있었으며 그 결과 내담자와 깊이 있는 관계를 맺을 수 있도록 유도할 수 있었다. 포커싱 훈련을 통해 신체가 느끼는 '감각느낌'을 '있는 그대로' 느끼며 알아차리는 자기인식 과정인 포커싱적 태도는 자기 틀에서 벗어나 삶에 대해 다양한 관점을 가질 수 있는 자아확장의 계기가 되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 한 상담자의 포커싱 훈련을 통해 확보된 포커싱적 태도는 어떤 의미를 가지는지 알아보고 앞으로 더욱 진전될 수 있는 포커싱 워크숍 준비를 위한 연구로써 그 의의가 있다.

본 연구는 중년여성을 대상으로 양가적 성차별주의와 포커싱적 태도가 자기개념에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 자기개념 척도, 포커싱적 태도 척도, 양가적 성차별주의 척도를 사용하여 만35세이상 만55세이하 중년여성을 대상으로 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 실시하였다. SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 분석한 결과 적대적 성차별주의와 온정적 성차별주의와 유의한 정적 상관이 있으며 양가적 성차별주의가 자기개념에 유의한 부적영향을 나타났다. 양가적 성차별주의의 적대적 성차별주의가 높을수록 중년여성의 자기개념의 모든 요인이 낮아지는 경향을 보였으며 포커싱적 태도는 자기개념에 유의한 정적영향이 나타났으나 하위요인별로 달랐다. 포커싱적 태도의 표현하기와 받아들이기, 여유갖기가 자기개념에 유의한 정적영향을, 알아차리기는 부적영향이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 되새겨보기는 유의한 영향이 나타나지 않았다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 한계점에 대해 논의하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 포커싱적 태도와 임상수행능력간의 관계를 파악하고 포커싱적 태도가 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위함이다. 간호학과 재학생 189명을 대상으로 하여 2018년 12월에 자료를 수집하였고 다중회귀분석 방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 포커싱적 태도는 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 특히, 포커싱적 태도의 하위요인인 '표현하기'는 임상수행능력의 하위요인인 '간호과정, 간호기술, 교육 및 협력관계, 대인관계 및 의사소통, 전문직 발전'에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 설명력은 15.7%~19.9%이었다. 따라서 학부과정동안 간호학과 대학생들이 '상황에 알맞은 표현하기 능력'을 기를 수 있는 프로그램의 개발과 함께 교수-학습방법의 적극적 반영을 제안한다.

이 연구는 외상을 경험한 청소년 운동선수들을 대상으로 포커싱적 태도와 인지적 정서조절이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향력을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 S시와 K도 지역에 위치한 중, 고등학교 운동선수 215명을 대상으로 예비조사를 통해 타당성과 신뢰성이 검증된 설문지를 사용하여 포커싱적 태도와 인지적 정서조절이 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는지 파악한 결과, 청소년 운동선수들의 포커싱적 태도와 인지적 정서조절은 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치며, 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인은 긍정적재평가요인과 알아차리기, 수용, 받아들이기, 되새겨보기 및 긍정적 초점변경요인으로 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에서 나타난 결과를 통해 외상 후 성장을 경험하기 위해서는 포커싱적 태도와 인지적 정서조절에 대한 총체적인 이해와 기전에 대해 파악하는 것이 중요하며, 이에 청소년 운동선수들의 포커싱적 태도와 인지적 정서조절에 대해 포괄적으로 개념을 파악하고 이를 통해 포커싱적 태도 수준을 제고하고 인지적 정서를 긍정적으로 조절할 수 있는 효율적인 심리적 훈련 방법의 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구는 사이버폭력 경험이 있는 청소년들의 신체화 증상을 다루기 위해 포커싱적 태도의 관계와 영향을 알아 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 14~19세 청소년을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였고, 이 중 총 366명(남 84명(23%), 여 282명(77%))의 결과를 분석에 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관 분석 및 다중회귀분석을 통하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 사이버폭력 경험이 신체화 증상에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 포커싱적 태도의 하위 요인 중 '알아차리기'와 '되새겨보기'는 신체화 증상에 정적 영향을 미치며, '표현하기'는 신체화 증상에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 사이버폭력을 경험한 청소년들의 신체화 증상을 호소할 때 포커싱적 태도 치료적 접근의 필요성을 제시하였다.

Purpose: Focusing manner is very powerful mind-body self-help and self-awareness competence. So focusing manner may affect nurses' emotional labor and nursing performance, but few are known about it to date. The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of focusing manner, emotional labor, nursing performance of clinical nurses, and the factors that affect nursing performance. Methods: In order to collect data, structured questionnaires were administered to 212 nurses who worked at 2 university hospitals located in D city. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 20.0. Results: Nursing performance had positive relationship with focusing manner (r=.45, p<.001), and negative relationship with emotional labor (r=-.25, p<.001). And the most prediction factor influencing nursing performance was focusing manner (${\beta}=.41$, p<.001) and the other factors were age (${\beta}=.30$, p=.002), and emotional labor (${\beta}=.14$, p=.012). The total variance was 37.1% by those predictors (F=25.87, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop and educational program on focusing manner-oriented psychotherapy in order to improve the nursing performance. Also, the management system for controlling emotional labor needs to be set up for nurses in clinical settings.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the degree of stress, resilience, focusing manner, and quality of life among burn rehabilitation patients. Furthermore, it seeks to identify factors affecting the quality of life in this patient group. Methods: The participants of this study were 129 burn patients, aged 19 or older, who received treatment at the rehabilitation of a university hospital in Seoul. Data were collected from June 22 to August 31, 2022 through self-report questionnaires covering stress, resilience, focusing manner and quality of life.The data were analyzed using the SPSS 29.0 program. Results: Multiple regression analysis showed that education level, cause of burn, area of burn, pain, stress, and focusing manner significantly affected the quality of life, explaining 74.5% of the variance. Conclusion: In particular, focusing manner was a major factor affecting the quality of life in burn rehabilitation patients. Therefore, there is a need to develop intervention programs aimed at increasing focusing manner in this patient group.

This study was undertaken to confirm the relationship between the manner of focus and job performance of clinical dental hygienists. A survey was conducted, and the results of the survey were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. As a result, in the correlation between job performance ability and focusing manner and appreciation of the experience process, which are sub-factors of job performance ability and focusing manner, r=.161 (p<0.1) and appropriate distance r=.229 (p<0.1) indicated a positive (+) correlation. Multiple regression analysis revealed that the factors that have the greatest influence on job performance are type of workplace (β=-0.381), focusing attitude (β=0.166), marital status (β=-0.156), and age (β=0.152). Therefore, by confirming the relationship between focusing and job performance ability, we intend to provide the basic data necessary to prepare measures to improve dental hospital management and job performance.
