  • Let a be an ideal of a commutative Noetherian ring R, M a finitely generated R-module and N a weakly Laskerian R-module. We show that if N has finite dimension d, then $Ass_R(H^d_a(N))$ consists of finitely many maximal ideals of R. Also, we find the least integer i, such that $H^i_a$(M, N) is not consisting of finitely many maximal ideals of R.

  • This article concerns a property of local rings and domains. A ring R is called weakly local if for every a ∈ R, a is regular or 1-a is regular, where a regular element means a non-zero-divisor. We study the structure of weakly local rings in relation to several kinds of factor rings and ring extensions that play roles in ring theory. We prove that the characteristic of a weakly local ring is either zero or a power of a prime number. It is also shown that the weakly local property can go up to polynomial (power series) rings and a kind of Abelian matrix rings.

  • In this paper, we will introduce the concept of fuzzy mulitplication module. We will define a new operation called a product on th family of all fuzzy submodules of a fuzzy mulitplication module. We will define a fuzzy subset of the idealization ring R+M and find some relations with the product of fuzzy submodules and product of fuzzy ideals of the idealization ring R+M. Some properties of weakly fuzzy prime submoduels and fuzzy prime submodules which are de ned by T.K.Mukherjee M.K.Sen and D.Roy will be introduced. We will investigate some properties of fuzzy prime submodules of a fuzzy multiplication module.

  • The studies of reversible and 2-primal rings have done important roles in noncommutative ring theory. We in this note introduce the concept of quasi-reversible-over-prime-radical (simply, QRPR) as a generalization of the 2-primal ring property. A ring is called QRPR if ab = 0 for $a,b{\in}R$ implies that ab is contained in the prime radical. In this note we study the structure of QRPR rings and examine the QRPR property of several kinds of ring extensions which have roles in noncommutative ring theory.

  • Let R be a commutative ring with $1{\neq}0$, I a proper ideal of R, and m and n positive integers. In this paper, we define I to be a weakly (m, n)-closed ideal if $0{\neq}x^m\;{\in}I$ for $x{\in}R$ implies $x^n{\in}I$, and R to be an (m, n)-von Neumann regular ring if for every $x{\in}R$, there is an $r{\in}R$ such that $x^mr=x^n$. A number of results concerning weakly(m, n)-closed ideals and (m, n)-von Neumann regular rings are given.

  • It is proved that if G is a direct sum of countable abelian $p$-groups and R is a special selected commutative unitary highly-generated ring of prime characteristic $p$, which ring is more general than the weakly perfect one, then the group of all normed units V (RG) modulo G, that is V (RG)=G, is a direct sum of countable groups as well. This strengthens a result due to W. May, published in (Proc. Amer. Math. Soc., 1979), that treats the same question but over a perfect ring.

  • Let p be a prime and $f(z)=\Sigma_{n}a(n)q^n$ be a weakly holomorphic modular function for ${\Gamma}^*_0(p)$ with a(0) = 0. We use Bruinier and Funke's work to find the generating series of modular traces of f(z) as Jacobi forms.

  • In recent years M. Hochster and C. Huneke introduced the notions of tight closure of an ideal and of the weak F-regularity of a ring of positive prime characteristic. Here 'F' stands for Frobenius. This notion enabled us to play an important role in a commutative ring theory, and other related topics.

  • The studies of reversible and NI rings have done important roles in noncommutative ring theory. A ring R shall be called QRUR if ab = 0 for a, b ∈ R implies that ba is contained in the upper nilradical of R, which is a generalization of the NI ring property. In this article we investigate the structure of QRUR rings and examine the QRUR property of several kinds of ring extensions including matrix rings and polynomial rings. We also show that if there exists a weakly semicommutative ring but not QRUR, then Köthe's conjecture does not hold.
