소규모 시공현장 적정공사비 확보를 위한 원가기준 마련 연구 (A Study on Cost Standards for Securing Appropriate Construction Costs for Small-Scale Construction Sites)

  • In construction sites, small-scale construction quantities or limited work hours below the daily work volume may occur due to on-site conditions. For small-scale quantities, the input of equipment and labor is designed based on an hourly basis in the invoice, resulting in a difference from the actual cost. In this study, we aim to explore solutions from the perspective of construction cost standards to secure appropriate construction costs for small-scale and time-limited construction sites. Firstly, to preserve the basic construction costs on-site, we established standards where half the cost would be charged for construction quantities below four hours and a full day's cost would be designed for construction quantities between four to eight hours. Additionally, realistic construction cost calculation standards are expected to be provided by realizing a surcharge rate for work hour limitations to secure appropriate construction costs.

Transient Stability Analysis using Large-Scale Real Time Digital Simulator

  • The KEPS(KEPCO's Enhanced Power system Simulator) Real Time Digital Simulator(RTDS) is the largest real time power system simulator ever built. A power system which includes 320 (3-phase) buses and 90 generators has been modeled and run in real time. Since such large-scale systems were involved, it was not practical to validate them using non-real time electro-magnetic transient programs such as EMTDC™ or EMTP. Instead, the results of the real time electromagnetic transient simulation were validated by comparing to transient stability simulations run using PTI's PSS/E™ program. The comparison of results from the two programs is very good in almost all cases. However, as expected, some differences did exist and were investigated. The differences in the results were primarily traced to the fact that the electromagnetic transient solution algorithm provides more detail solutions and therefore greater accuracy than the transient stability algorithm. After finding very good comparison of results between RTDS Simulator and PSS/E, and after investigating the discrepancies found, KEPCO gained the necessary confidence to use the large-scale real time simulator to analyze and develop their power system.

EVOLUTION OF A MASS ACCRETING PROTOSTAR OF ONE SOLAR MASS UNDER QUASI-HYDROSTATIC EQUILIBRIUM

  • The evolutionary tracks of a protostar of one solar mass under quasi-hydrostatic equilibrium are computed with mass-accretion time scales of $10^3,\;10^4,\;10^5\;and\;10^6$ years, and their resulting behaviors in the H-R diagram are discussed. It is found that there exists a critical time scale of mass accretion, which reverses the course of their evolutionary tracks. A value of the critical time scale appears to lie between $10^3\;and\;10^4$ years. The physical cause for the presence of the critical time scale is discussed. Finally, it is proposed that star formation requires at least several $10^3$ years before any star is born out of dark dense interstellar clouds.

Adaptive fluid-structure interaction simulation of large-scale complex liquid containment with two-phase flow

  • An adaptive modeling and simulation technique is introduced for the effective and reliable fluid-structure interaction analysis using MSC/Dytran for large-scale complex pressurized liquid containment. The proposed method is composed of a series of the global rigid sloshing analysis and the locally detailed fluid-structure analysis. The critical time at which the system exhibits the severe liquid sloshing response is sought through the former analysis, while the fluid-structure interaction in the local region of interest at the critical time is analyzed by the latter analysis. Differing from the global coarse model, the local fine model considers not only the complex geometry and flexibility of structure but the effect of internal pressure. The locally detailed FSI problem is solved in terms of multi-material volume fractions and the flow and pressure fields obtained by the global analysis at the critical time are specified as the initial conditions. An in-house program for mapping the global analysis results onto the fine-scale local FSI model is developed. The validity and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified through an illustrative numerical experiment.

다양한 규모매개변수를 이용한 비정상성 Gumbel 모형의 비교 연구 (Comparison Study on the Various Forms of Scale Parameter for the Nonstationary Gumbel Model)

  • 비정상성 빈도해석을 위해 개발된 비정상성 확률분포 모형들은 대부분 매개변수에 시간항을 포함하는 형태로 정의된다. 이 중에서도 우리나라에 널리 사용되고 있는 Gumbel 모형에 대해 살펴보면, 비정상성 Gumbel 모형의 위치 및 규모매개변수는 시간에 대해 선형(linear) 및 지수(exponential) 함수의 관계를 보이는 형태로 가정한다. 규모매개변수의 지수함수의 형태는 음(-)의 값이 추정되는 것을 방지하기 위해 제안되어 널리 사용되고 있으나 이로 인해 확률수문량이 과다산정되는 문제가 발생하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 비정상성 Gumbel 모형의 규모매개변수의 다양한 형태를 비교하고자 한다. 이를 위해 비정상성 Gumbel 모형의 규모매개변수를 지수함수, 선형, 로그 형태로 가정하여 비교하였다. 각 모형의 매개변수의 추정은 최우도법을 적용하였고 규모매개변수의 형태별 정확도 비교를 위해 모의실험을 수행하였으며, 실제 자료에 대한 적용으로 자료기간 30년 이상을 보유하면서 경향성을 가지는 강우량 자료들을 대상으로 비정상성 빈도해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 지수함수 형태를 가정한 규모매개변수를 가지는 비정상성 Gumbel 모형이 가장 작은 오차를 가지는 것으로 분석되었다.

조선시대(朝鮮時代)의 포백척(布帛尺)에 관한 연구(硏究) (ABOUT POBAEK-CHEOK IN THE TIME OF THE YI-DYNASTY)

  • We suppose that Poback-cheok appeared with wearing clothes in the ancient times. At first, man used body as a scale, and it is gradually diversified with social development. It is clear that also in the time of Shilla-Dynasty, the United Shilla-Dynasty and the Goryeo-Dynasty, the system of degree existed in historical relation to that of China. But we don't know it's real length, because there is no recording until the beginning of the Yi-Dynasty. The first recording about Poback-cheok appeared in the time of the King Sejong. Hwangjong-Cheok which is a original vessel of the degree system appears in the 7th years of the King Sejong. In the 12th years of the King Sejong, Ju-cheok, Youngjo-cheok and Joyegi-cheok appeared. In the 13th years of the King Sejong, Poback-cheok appeared as a new changed one. At that time, the length of Poback-cheok is recorded as 44.75cm in chapter of Oye and Jonsoo Pobaek-cheok is recorded as 46.73cm in Jeonjesangjeongso's picture, and it is recorded as 46.80cm in the Kyunggugdaijeon. The scale system is put in good order in the time of King Sejong. But it is confused by the war of 1636 after King Seonjo period. In the 26 th year of King Youngjo, it is reappeared as one of the King Sejong, and it is fixed as 46.80cm. The length is used until the proclamation in the 6th years of the Kwangmu(1902), and then the length of Pobaek-cheok is changed as 48.48 cm, that is measured by a Gok-cheok. After that time, the scale system is very confused during the introduction of new civilization and the Korean-Japanes Unit. So it is used longer or shorter(that is, 49.24cm or 48.91cm). And the metric system is introduced by Japanes in 1926, and it reached the present time. According to use, the actual thing with is used in the end of the Yi-Dynasty is various from 30cm to 70cm. And according to material and craft-man, it can be devided into Hwa-gag scale, Najeon-blacklacquer-scale, bamboo-scale, wooden-scale. The way of expression of measure is always followed by the decimal system. The other half part, except the part of expression of graduation, is put on decorate with a pattern. Also we can see the idea of living on this point.

Formulation of New Hyperbolic Time-shift Covariant Time-frequency Symbols and Its Applications

  • We propose new time-frequency (TF) tools for analyzing linear time-varying (LTV) systems and nonstationary random processes showing hyperbolic TF structure. Obtained through hyperbolic warping the narrowband Weyl symbol (WS) and spreading function (SF) in frequency, the new TF tools are useful for analyzing LTV systems and random processes characterized by hyperbolic time shifts. This new TF symbol, called the hyperbolic WS, satisfies the hyperbolic time-shift covariance and scale covariance properties, and is useful in wideband signal analysis. Using the new, hyperbolic time-shift covariant WS and 2-D TF kernels, we provide a formulation for the hyperbolic time-shift covariant TF symbols, which are 2-D smoothed versions of the hyperbolic WS. We also propose a new interpretation of linear signal transformations as weighted superposition of hyperbolic time shifted and scale changed versions of the signal. Application examples in signal analysis and detection demonstrate the advantages of our new results.

STABILITY OF THE TWO-TEMPERATURE ACCRETION DISK

  • The stability of the geometrically thin, two-temperature hot accretion disk is studied. The general criterion for thermal instability is derived from the linear local analyses, allowing for advective cooling and dynamics in the vertical direction. Specifically, classic unsaturated Comptonization disk is analysed in detail. We find five eigen-modes: (1) Heating mode grows in thermal time scale, $(5/3)({\alpha}{\omega})^{-1}$, where alpha is the viscosity parameter and w the Keplerian frequency. (2) Cooling mode decays in time scale, $(2/5)(T_e/T_i)({\alpha}{\omega})^{-1}$, where $T_e\;and\;T_i$ are the electron and ion temperatures, respectively. (3) Lightman-Eardley viscous mode decays in time scale, $(4/3)(\Lambda/H)^2({\alpha}{\omega})^{-1}$, where $\Lambda$ is the wavelength of the perturbation and H the unperturbed disk height. (4) Two vertically oscillating modes oscillate in Keplerian time scale, $(3/8)^{1/2}\omega^{-1}$ with growth rate $\propto\;(H/\Lambda)^2$. The inclusion of dynamics in the vertical direction does not affect the thermal instability, adding only the oscillatory modes which gradually grow for short wavelength modes. Also, the advective cooling is not strong enough to suppress the growth of heating modes, at least for geometrically thin disk. Non-linear development of the perturbation is followed for simple unsaturated Compton disk: depending on the initial proton temperature perturbation, the disk can evolve to decoupled state with hot protons and cool electrons, or to one-temperature state with very cool protons and electrons.

특이섭동 모델역변환을 이용한 멀티콥터 위치제어 연구 (Multicopter Position Control using Singular Perturbation based Dynamic Model Inversion)

  • 본 논문은 4개의 로터를 가지는 쿼드콥터에 대한 비선형 운동모델을 구성하고, 특이섭동 기법을 이용한 모델 역변환 위치 제어기 설계 결과에 대해 나타낸다. 특이섭동 모델 역변환방식은 느린 동역학과 빠른 동역학을 시분할 기법(time scale separation)기법을 이용하여 각각 역변환 시키는 방법이다. 수립한 6자유도 비선형 운동모델 기반으로, 모델 역변환 제어기를 설계하고 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과 정확한 위치 추종을 수행함을 확인하였다.

천이구간 정보를 이용한 음성의 가변적인 시간축 변환 (Variable Time-Scale Modification of Speech Using Trasient Information)

  • 기존의 시간축 변환 방법은 음성 특징에 따른 발음 속도의 영향을 고려하지 않기 때문에 변환비율이 커짐에 따라 합성음의 명료도가 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 음성 인지과정에서 천이 구간의 시간축 정보가 중요한 역할을 한다는 사실에 기반을 둔 가변적인 시간축 변환 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 제안된 방법에서는 먼저 음성신호를 천이 구간과 정적인 구간으로 구분하고, 천이 구간의 시간축 정보는 그대로 유지하면서 정적인 구간만을 시간축 변환함으로써 목표하는 변환 비율을 얻는다. 청취자 선호도 시험 결과, 제안된 방법이 기존의 대표적인 시간축 변환 방법인 SOLA 방법에 비해 그 성능이 우수함을 확인하였다.
