Purpose: This study was to provide baseline data about knowledge, attitude and practice of skin disinfection and to identify the influencing factors among nurses related to skin disinfection. Methods: The subjects were 174 nurses who worked at one Hospital in A city. Data were collected by self-reported questionnaires during August, 2010. The collected data were analyzed with use of SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: The knowledge of skin disinfection varied significantly according to unit, position and job satisfaction. Nurses' attitude towards skin disinfection differed significantly according to age, unit, career, position and job satisfaction. Nurses' practice of skin disinfection varied according to unit and position. Significant correlations were found between knowledge, attitude and practice. The attitude and knowledge were influencing factors of practice (55.6%). Conclusion: An educational program focusing on changing nurses' knowledge and attitude can be effective for the practice of skin disinfection.
For the improvement of productivity of beekeepers and to develop new management strategy through the analysis of current honeybee-keeping management types and evaluation of related skills and basis in Korea were surveyed. The serial surveys were carried out in 2008 for a total of 253 beekeepers from different localities in Korea. The results revealed that 145.9 colonies of honeybee were managed by each beekeeper in Korea. The beekeepers group who were younger than 55 years possessed 191.7 colonies. The older age group of beekeepers kept rather smaller number of colonies. The career groups over 15 years in apiculture were keeping 176.0 colonies in average. The numbers of bee colonies were not significantly different among localities and educational backgrounds. The migratory apiaries with 145.9 hives were dominant than those fixed ones with 83.0 (p<0.01). It was observed that 57.8% of apiaries were located in the vicinity of farmer's house, whereas 30.3% were managed in mountain area; however older group (65.4%) preferred to keep it near their houses (p<0.05). The proportion (35.7%) of part-time fixed apiary was the highest among four apiary management types. The younger group and high career group operated full-time migratory apiary (38.8% and 40.3%) (p<0.05), respectively. However, the older group and low career group preferred as part-time fixed one (43.2% and 46.6%), respectively (p<0.001). There was no significant difference among localities. The surveyed beekeepers produced propolis, commercial colonies, pollen, royal jelly, and pollination hives in addition to honey. The group of less than 15 years career and mountain apiary mainly produced propolis and pollen. However, those who dwell in small and middle areas mainly produced propolis and commercial colonies. The levels related to beekeeping skills and basis were evaluated as intermediate from 3.11 and 2.86 points on 5 points scale, respectively. More careered group having skill level of 3.33 point and basis level of 3.02 showed higher levels than less careered one. The levels of skill and basis evaluated from age groups and localities were similar with each other with no significance.

The purposes of this study were to derive an agreement of home economics education experts on the necessity of home economics science educational contents by applying the Delphi study, and thus to provide basic data on establishing a future direction of the home economics science education. According to the result of the three-round Delphi survey of home economics educational experts, they agreed on the necessity of home economics science educational contents, in the order of the areas of family life, food and nutrition, consuming life, housing and clothing. They also agreed that home economics sciences educational contents applicable to the real life were more useful than those related to mere knowledge, technique and career.
The purpose of this paper is to describe the situation of everyday life of women and men in Germany and gender related aspects. Therefore social demographical data, presented by the Office for European Statistics, Luxembourg and by German statistical data, are used. Based on this data the different roles, responsibilities, and social positions of women and men are interpreted in the context of the idea of mainstreaming gender. In comparison to other European countries, especially to the Scandinavian countries, the situation of women in Germany still has to be improved. It is a prevalent problem for women to arrange family life and working career, because the gender-related role-allocationis still an issue. Women, who are involved in looking after children, are significantly less engaged in business life, as for men caring does not make a difference, whether they are employed or not. In addition to this fact women on average earn less than men, especially for women working in higher positions. To improve the situation of women and men the German government has initiated a 'Gender Mainstreaming Policy' in 2000 and has taken important legal measures which make it possible to reconcile family-life and gainful employment. For Home Economists there is a need to integrate the gender dimension into a household analytical approach.
Rapid change of surroundings has been influencing the work environment for cooks, making it more convenient; however, there are still many difficulties to improve. Especially, cooks are exposed to lots of occupational diseases due to tension and pressure as well as noise, high temperature and humidity in their work place. This study examines cooks' operational exhaustion caused by cooking operation and cooking circumstances. The analyzed result shows the job fatigue related to the general features of the cooks(such as charged cooking part, types of engaged business, class of position, cooking career, and working hours). For example, pains on the neck, back, arms and wrist are mostly affected by the charged cooking parts. Effects related to the types of engaged business, backaches usually occurred in Catering, pains in shoulder from serving at hotels and eye-tiredness from meal serving. As for working hours, most of backaches occurred from over 13-hour-work, and pains in shoulder and eye-tiredness under 8-hour-work. Pains in legs, tiredness, and the change of weight do not have any relations withthe general features of the cooks statistically(p>0.05).
This study was conducted to investigate the job satisfaction of the dental technicians and evalate the relationship between it’s scores and certain variables. One hundred eighty dental technicians were sampled from 300 among the 2552 dental technicians by wide distribution method, in September 1990. Data were collected by administering the instrument, the researcher developed for measuring the independent and dependent variables. The statistical methods utilized in this study were one-way analysis of variance, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The data were analyzed by SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science), utilizing PC. The statistical significance was tested at 0.05 level. The major findings of the study were as follows : 1. The job satisfaction measuring instrument, the researcher developed, could measured the job satisfaction of dental technicians. The Maximum score of the instrument was 125, the highest score of dental technicians was 106, the lowest score was obtained 38, the mean score was 72.228 and standard deviation was 12.804. 2. The personal variables of dental technicians were related with the job satisfaction scores. The job satisfaction scores were positively correlated, at 0.01 level, with the scores of age(r=0.379), year(r=0.218), aptitude(r=0.415), marry(r=0.202), income(r=0.381), career(r=0.316). 3. The family variables scores of dental technicians were not correlated with the job satisfaction scores. 4. The personal characteristics of dental technicians were related with the job satisfaction. The job satisfaction score were positively correlated beyond the significant level, with the cheerfulness scores(r=0.398) and stability scores(r=0.224). 5. The job-related variables of the dental technicians were related with the job satisfaction scores. The correlation coefficient between job satisfaction scores and turnover scores was r=0.23, and quantity scores was r=0.300.
This study is aimed at looking into the security English ability status and progress plan of security related department students. The status was captured through a questionnaire survey to English proficiency and simple tests on security knowledge. Current status to general English and security English ability was indicated very low and unsatisfactory as a whole, through which individuals and students perceived their need of positive effort. The security personnel for domestic figures and VIPs need to have English communication ability as an international ability, and the security related department students have to improve English communication ability during their college course for smooth post-graduation employment and career preparation. General English ability should be bettered through the diversity of cultural English programs, and systematic learning and effort needed for equipment of ability on specialized security ability, for this, compilation of security English curricula encouraged by each college. It is expected that significance and perception of security English would be conscious and progressive in Korean security related departments, by which more security personnel with international qualifications and abilities would be produced.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the elementary teachers' conceptions on the inquiry activity about 'make a fossil model' focusing the 6th, 7th, 2007 revised, and 2009 revised elementary science textbook. This study is intended to find causes of teachers' conceptions and to derive educational implications. We have analyzed questionnaires which were collected from 77 elementary school teachers. It was carried out about comparisons actual fossil with fossil model in each step of the inquiry activity, the lesson goal, the thought for changes of the inquiry activity, the improvement of the inquiry and conception related fossil. Teachers have a general understanding about the contents of the inquiry activity but some of them have partially incorrect understanding. And they emphasize the understanding of the concept on lesson goal. It is necessary to improve inquiry activity reflecting teachers' thinking about the merit and weaknesses. There was not statistically difference in understanding of fossil related concepts according to teachers' career, teaching or training experience. Through this research, there is a need to improve a textbook, a guide book, a teachers' training. So, teachers who have professionalism about science textbook be able to teach students.

This research was done with the intent of showing the changes in the Library and Information Science(LIS) curriculum from 1991 until 2014, across the 40 Korean LIS departments. Using the department and faculty system, which I expected were the biggest change factors, I took these as the division points and analyzed the published data regarding curriculum offerings in units of 6-7 years. Fields with special characteristics were analyzed in more depth for changes. The results indicated several things. First, in the bibliography field the number of individuals had been reduced from 69 to 51 in 2014. Second, the subjects in records management had increased from 33 in 2005 to 57 in 2014. Third, in the linguistics field the decrease was from 63 in 1997 to 19 in 2014. Fourth, as a result of analyzing individuals that had been classified into the general LIS field, it was found that subjects related to the outline of the LIS, field studies, publication and copyrights, and career guidance were increasing. At the same time, the subjects related to the history of the library were decreasing.
Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to analyze the trend of research related with unmarried mother. Method: 81 theses about unmarried mother from 1972 to 2003 were analyzed according to the theses' characteristics, sources by publication period, research design, nursing intervention effect of experimental study and theme of qualitative research. Results: 1. The number of studies related with unmarried mother has progressively increased by year from 1972, and that of theses was highest during the period between 2000 to 2003. 2 As for study design, the number of quantitative studies were 73 and that of qualitative studies were 8. The majority of research design were survey and correlational studies. 3. Nursing intervention used in the experimental design were stress management program, eco-system support group, group art treatment, career education program, musical activities, prenatal education. All of experimental design were used in the after 2000. 4. The themes of qualitative studies were childbirth experience, a participatory on the life, mother's keeping a child, experience of pregnancy and delivery, the self-group program, the process and experience of becoming unmarried adolescent mother, needs of single mothers with child and policy of social welfare service, lived experience of hope. All of these were used in the after 1999. Conclusions: The summary of the above results shows a tendency that the study has increased by year. Especially, experimental study proved affirmative effect. However, for the unmarried mother, more experimental and qualitative studies are to be required.
