  • We study the structure of idempotents in polynomial rings, power series rings, concentrating in the case of rings without identity. In the procedure we introduce right Insertion-of-Idempotents-Property (simply, right IIP) and right Idempotent-Reversible (simply, right IR) as generalizations of Abelian rings. It is proved that these two ring properties pass to power series rings and polynomial rings. It is also shown that ${\pi}$-regular rings are strongly ${\pi}$-regular when they are right IIP or right IR. Next the noncommutative right IR rings, right IIP rings, and Abelian rings of minimal order are completely determined up to isomorphism. These results lead to methods to construct such kinds of noncommutative rings appropriate for the situations occurred naturally in studying standard ring theoretic properties.

  • We study in this paper the right Rényi mean for a quantum divergence induced from the α - z Rényi relative entropy. Many properties including homogeneity, invariance under permutation, repetition and unitary congruence transformation, and determinantal inequality have been presented. Moreover, we give the identity of two right Rényi means with respect to tensor product.

  • This study aims to analyze the causal relation between identity and school adaptation of multicultural family children, starting from necessity of empirical research considering insufficient preceding research. To achieve the purpose of the research, this study implemented empirical analysis regarding the causal relation between factors of self-identity and school adaptation. As a result, factors of self-identity implies significant effect on school regulations, while factors of school adaptation partially have an effect on school class and relations with a teacher and friend. Based on the result of verification, this study emphasizes teachers' effort as well as comprehensive and practical development of an educational program to help children from multicultural family establish the right self-identity for settling into school life. Moreover, the limitation of this study and future research direction is presented.

  • One's identity on the Internet has been disclosed and abused without his consent. Personal information must be protected by appropriate security safeguard. An Individual should have the right to know whether his personal details have been collected and stored. This paper proposes various conceptual models for designing privacy enabling service architecture in the Internet identity management system. For the restriction of access to personal information, we introduce the owner's policy and the management policy The owner's policy should provide the user with enough information to manage easily and securely his data. To control precisely and effectively all personal information in the Identity provider, we propose the privacy management policy and the privacy authorization model.

  • Recently, there are many people who live in rural keep getting away from their town. The reason why become aging and reducing society in Rural is weakness of agricultural competition, education, culture and welfare. Thereupon, we need counter plans to make boom in exhaustion rural landscape counter plan, losing consciousness of citizenship, over developing from city planners who are giving serious damage to rural landscape. However, there are many promotions going on to cover weakness of rural. In this research, to set up the right view of rural which considered the different cognitions, it is important to derive each preference or non-preference scenery, and countrified or non countrified scenery. From different cognition, finding preserved and improved factors is necessary to preserve, reform, and improve the countryside scenery. Based on this, to investigate natural characters of viewpoint is providing right direction for future rural landscape.

  • An identity-based strong designated verifier signature scheme provides restricted verifiability only for a verifier designated by a signer and proper privacy for the signer. In this paper, we show that strong designated verifier signature schemes do not satisfy the self-unverifiability requirement in the sense that not only exposure of the verifier's secret key but also of the signer's secret key enables an attacker to verify signatures, which should have been the exclusive right of the verifier. We also present a generic method to construct a strong identity-based designated verifier signature scheme with self-unverifiability from identity-based key encapsulation and identity-based key sharing schemes. We prove that a scheme constructed from our method achieves unforgeability, non-transferability, and self-unverifiability if the two underlying components are secure. To show the advantage of our method, we present an example that outputs short signatures and we analyze its performance.

  • Purpose: This study was to examine the ego-identity of nursing students and their adjustment to home and university in an effort to identify the correlation of their ego-identity to their adjustability and lay the foundation for providing better personality education to them. Method: The subjects in this study were 400 nursing students at H and S universities in south Chungcheong province. The instruments used in this study were Park A-cheong(2003)'s Korean-version Ego-Identity Inventory and Jeong Jonggweon(1998)'s Home and School Adjustment Inventory. For data analysis, SPSS/PC+ Package was used, and statistical data on frequency and percentage were obtained. Besides, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient were employed. Result: The findings of the study were as follows: The nursing students investigated got a 3.46 and 3.53 in ego-identity and family life adjustment respectively out of possible five points, which were both above the average. Their score in school adjustment was 2.89, which wasn't high. As for connections between general characteristics and ego-identity, their academic school year, their type of residence, presence or absence of parents and their birth order made no statistically significant differences to their ego-identity. But as to motivation of choosing nursing, the students who chose their major at their own option were the best in that regard. Their adjustment to family life made no significant differences, and regarding school adjustment, ego-identity was better among those who lived in a lodging house or dormitory(F=4.01, p<.05) and who chose their major at their own option(F=4.88, p<.01). In addition, those with better ego-identity were better adjusted to home and school. Conclusion: As the above-mentioned findings suggested that nursing educators should teach students by mapping out specific plans to enhance the ego-identity of students and facilitate their school adjustment, and full-fledged nurses should be produced by teaching students to build the right work ethics and become qualified as a professional.

  • As the increase of violent crimes such as robbery, murder, and rape has become a social problem, the government is considering institutionalizing the identification of criminals to prevent crime and to guarantee people's right to know. Such an atmosphere led to the approval of the revision of 'Special Law On the Punishment of Specific violent Crimes' in the National Assembly in April 2010. The revision allows the revelation of the profiles of crime suspects including the pictures of their faces at the investigation stage. However, whether the revision had been effective in preventing crime has not been demonstrated empirically. Moreover, identity revelation is a grave intrusion into privacy and an abuse of human rights such as personal rights and the right to a fair trial, since personal information of criminal suspects would be released to the media prior to the court's final judgements. Also it violates the principle of presumption of innocence, the principles of due process, the principle of double jeopardy, the principle of prohibition against excessive, the principles of clarity, and the principle of liability.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of sex education on middle school boys' perception about obscene materials and self identity. Methods: This study was employed, using pretest-posttest of nonequivalent control group design. Data were collected from April 1st to May 14th, 2005. The subjects were recruited from two middle boys' school in Incheon which have similar class accomplishments and financial statues. Sampling method was used 70 students were assigned to experimental group and 74 students to control group. The 45 minutes sex education was given 4 times within 3 weeks to the experimental group. Four weeks later after education has finished, post test was done. The data were analyzed using Chi test, Fisher's exact test and t -test by SPSS. Results: The 1st hypothesis 'The experimental group which received sex education will have a higher score of perception about obscene materials than control group' was supported(t = 3.370, p = .001). The 2nd hypothesis 'The experimental group which received sex education will have a higher score about self identity than the control group' was supported(t = 1.997, p = .048). Conclusion: This study showed that sex education effectively helps middle school boys to have right perception about obscene materials and to promote self identity.
