  • In thihs paper, I investigate the different usage of a reflexive-anaphor or logophor. Some African languages which have a morphologically independent set of logophors give a clue to this dichotomy. English which does not have morphologically independent logophors employs a reflexive-self form to be used as a logophor. However, the logophors in English occur in restricted environments. On the other hand, Korean is freer than English in that it allows areflexive to be interchanged with a logophor. With this assumption, I deal with the binding in Optimality Theory. I set up the constraints-MAXlog,ana,MINlog,ana, and Ølog, ana. With these constraints, the binding in various languages are explained through constraint ranking. In addition, the long-distance binding in English is dealt with properly of we assume the dichotomy and constraint-ranking in Optimality Theory. Furthermore, this gives an explanation to reflexive and pronoun alternation in English. Also, I borrow from phonology the idea of Obligatory Contour Principle to explain the similar phenomenon in syntax. I compare English with Korean in dealing with the possessive reflexive with the recourse to The Emergence of the Unmarked Pronoun Bresnan 1997. Fnmally, the reconstruction phenomenon is accounted for with the same device.

  • We prove that if a nals X is reflexive, then $X = W_X + V_X$. We prove also that if an als X has a finite basis, then $X = W_X + V_X$ if and only if X is reflexive.

  • In this paper, we continue to explore an idea presented in [3] and introduce a new class of matrix rings called staircase matrix rings which has applications in noncommutative ring theory. We show that these rings preserve the notions of reduced, symmetric, reversible, IFP, reflexive, abelian rings, etc.

  • Korean society is a mixed risk society in terms of risk and distrust. This is because the risks and disasters of the farming and industrial societies, the modern and the information society, exist simultaneously in the present time. Ulrich Beck's point that the endless development of science and technology to acquire economic wealth is simultaneously entering a risk society is providing us with many implications. In this paper, we reviewed the Ulrich Beck's "reflexive modernization" theory in the late 20th century, pointing to the rise of a risk society as a result of the evolution of new modernization. This is because the "reflexive modernization" can be a direction in which we can reflect our wrong past from a human-centered perspective and design a desirable future. In this sense, it is important to present ways to overcome the dangerous society through the reinterpretation of Ulrich Beck, who advocated the modernization of reflectively. In order to overcome the future risks that the fourth industrial revolution will bring, we must provide direction for the government's security policies and public security consciousness.

  • In this paper, we study some fixed point properties of n-generalized Bregman nonspreading mappings in reflexive Banach space. We introduce a hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common solution for a countable family of equilibrium problems and fixed point problems in reflexive Banach space. Further, we give some applications and numerical example to show the importance and demonstrate the performance of our algorithm. The results in this paper extend and generalize many related results in the literature.

  • In this paper, we study a new class of generalized nonlinear variational-like inequalities in reflexive Banach spaces. By using the KKM technique and the concept of the Hausdorff metric, we obtain some existence results for generalized nonlinear variational-like inequalities with generalized monotone multi-valued mappings in Banach spaces. These results improve and generalize many known results in recent literature.

  • In this paper, we introduce a parallel iterative method for finding a common fixed point of a finite family of Bregman strongly nonexpansive mappings in a real reflexive Banach space. Moreover, we give some applications of the main theorem for solving some related problems. Finally, some numerical examples are developed to illustrate the behavior of the new algorithms with respect to existing algorithms.
