GSP를 활용한 중학교 2학년 수학 영재학급의 일반화 수업 분석과 교육적 시사점 - Viviani 정리를 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Generalization Class using GSP for the 8th Grade Students in a Math Gifted Class - Focused on Viviani theorem -)

  • 본 연구는 교육 현장의 영재학급에 대한 바람직한 일반화 수업 구현을 돕는 것을 목적으로, GSP를 활용한 일반화 수업을 설계 및 적용해봄으로써 수업의 실제를 파악해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중학교 2학년 영재학급 학생 13명을 대상으로 GSP를 활용한 Viviani 정리의 일반화 수업을 계획하여 적용해 보았다. 그 결과 'GSP에 의한 추측 조정과 패턴 확인', 'GSP 확인이 증명이라는 오개념과 극복', '주제 이탈과 인지적 격차', '미완의 추측에 의한 증명 완성', '일반화와 일반성 이해 사이의 괴리'라는 다섯 가지 주제를 추출할 수 있었다. 추출한 주제를 토대로 영재학급에서의 바람직한 일반화 수업 구현을 위한 교육적 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

교육시설의 옥상방수 열화도 진행 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of the Deterioration Process Model of Roof Waterproofing in the Education facilities)

  • Education facilities have much affect to make a good condition for the learning environment. Therefore, various approaches have been conducted to improve the physical, social and educational achievement. Especially, the physical aspect is very important to get rid of the building defect and improve the student their learning environment. For these, it needs to explain the performance and function of components and materials, which is linked with the deterioration degree. The deterioration degree is a imperative factor to make a decision whether the component would be repaired or not and to provide the repair scope of its component. In this paper, it aimed at making the deterioration degree model of roof proof under the hypothesis of which deterioration degree would be equal the repair cost at this time. Results of the study are shown that first, the $3^{rd}$ function is most proper to explain the deterioration degree model among 11 functions in view of resulted statistics. Second, the inflection of deterioration is shown at 15yr of the elementary school and 13yr of the middle and high school. This study has a limit of disclassification of the component or materials and it is, therefore, favorable to include the classification of waterproof material and work. These results would make a change from the breakdown maintenance to preventive maintenance and give a decent the learning environment for student.

전통(傳統) 태교(胎敎)의 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) 및 금기(禁忌) 연구(硏究) (A Study on Taboo in the Traditional Prenatal Education from the Medical Perspective)

  • This study aims to investigate the educational significance in modern education by analysis on the contents of taboo in the Korean traditional prenatal education. For this study, the concrete matters are prepared for investigation as follows: First, the contents of prenatal education are analyzed with special reference to the Chinese bibliography and the Korean bibliography related to its own traditional prenatal education. Second, the contents of taboo in prenatal education are broadly classified into Chun-ki(天忌), Chi-ki(地忌), and In-ki(人忌), and in turn, In-ki is classified into taboo related to clothing, taboo related to food, Taboo related to housing, and man's taboo, and all of them are interpreted. Third, the characteristics of taboo in the Korean traditional prenatal education and its principle are analyzed, and its significance is researched from the modern educational point of view. This study attempts to classify the contents of taboo into Chun-ki, Chi-ki, In-ki, and man's taboo based upon analysis of the documentary records related to the traditionary prenatal education in China and Korea for the successful investigation. The characteristic such as common discipline, the time limit and prevention are induced on the basis of this investigation, and its modern educational significance as follows: First, prenatal education must be conduced as a part of youth education and preparatory parents education for the married couple. Second, man or husband plays a very important role of practising taboo in prenatal education. Third, taboo in prenatal education is very suggestive in the aspect of human relationship and mental health of the pregnant woman. Fourth, it prevents her obesity and strain. Fifth, the scientific proof and education of taboo related to food must be needed.

문과 출신 학생을 위한 대학 미적분학 보충학습 프로그램 개발 (Development of the Calculus Supplement Learning Program for university students)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an effective Calculus Supplement Learning Program for university students who are from liberal arts and investigate how the program affects their achievement and attitude in mathematics. we analyzed their answer sheets and interview reports with qualitative methods. After adapting the program, students recognized that mathematical concepts and definitions were very important to study a college calculus. Also they picked up how to learn mathematics in college. Finally, we found that students could develop their abilities of proof, problem solving, and logical thinking through the program.

  • 이 논문은 행과 열이 작은 정사각형으로 이루어진 직사각형 틀 구조물의 견고성에 대하여 다룬다. 수학화(mathematising)의 관점에서 각의 변화를 이용하여 구조물의 견고성 여부를 결정하는 새로운 증명법을 제시하고 이를 활용하여 구조물의 견고성을 판단하는 한 알고리즘을 제안한다.

Some properties of the set of schwarzians of conformal functions

  • Let U denote the set of all Schwarzian derivatives $S_f$ of conformal function f in the unit disk D. We show that if $S_f$ is a local extreme point of U, then f cannot omit an open set. We also show that if $S_f \in U$ is an extreme point of the closed convex hull $\bar{co}U$ of U, then f cannot omit a set of positive area. The proof of this uses Nguyen's theorem.

  • This paper analysed gifted middle students' conception of the definitions of point and line and the uses of definitions in proving. The findings of this paper suggest that the concept of mathematical definitions is very unnatural to students, therefore teachers and textbooks need to explain explicitly the characteristics of mathematical definitions which are different from dictionary definitions using common sense. Also introducing undefined terms in middle school geometry would give students a critical chance to deal with the transition from dictionary definitions to mathematical definitions.

  • 최근 몇몇 연구들에서 지렛대 원리를 이용한 문제해결 방법이 소개되었다. 본 연구에서는 이들 연구를 바탕으로 지렛대 원리를 이용하여 삼각형의 각의 이등분선, 수선, 외심의 성질을 탐구하였으며, 삼각형의 각의 이등분선, 수선, 외심에 관련된 새로운 증명들, 명제들을 제시하였다. 이를 통해, 중등학교 수준의 수학 영재교육에서 활용 가능한 새로운 탐구자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A Priori Boundary Estimations for an Elliptic Operator

  • In this article, we consider a singular and a degenerate elliptic operators in a divergence form. The singularities exist on a part of boundary, and comparable to the logarithmic distance function or its inverse. If we assume that the operator can be treated in a pointwise sense than distribution sense, with this operator we obtain a priori Harnack continuity near the boundary. In the proof we transform the singular elliptic operator to uniformly bounded elliptic operator with unbounded first order terms. We study this type of estimations considering a De Giorgi conjecture. In his conjecture, he proposed a certain ellipticity condition to guarantee a continuity of a solution.

  • 삼각형은 가장 단순한 기하학적 도형이지만, 기하학 탐구에서 삼각형은 훌륭한 연구 대상이며 후속적인 기하학 연구의 중요한 도구라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 지렛대 원리를 이용하여 삼각형의 Gergonne 점과 Gergonne 점의 딸림점들의 존재성, Gergonne 점에 관련된 등식을 증명하였고, Gergonne 점의 딸림점들에 대한 새로운 등식을 증명하였다.
