The Effects of the Perceived Call Center Service Quality on Service Loyalty - Focused on Mediating Effects of the Perceived Brand Personality - (콜센터 서비스에 대한 인지된 품질이 서비스 로열티에 미치는 영향 - 인지된 브랜드 개성의 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • Purpose: This study examines the causal relationship among perceived call center service quality, perceived brand personality, and service loyalty. Methods: This study employs call center services in mobile phone, credit card, and internet shopping, to collect data from respondents via on-line survey, and analyzes causal relationship among above-mentioned three constraints. Results: Perceived call center service quality has a positive impact on perceived brand personality and service loyalty. Perceived brand personality has a positive impact on service loyalty. Cognitive loyalty has a positive influence on attitudinal loyalty. Attitudinal loyalty has a positive impact on behavioral loyalty. Perceived brand personality has a mediating effect towards perceived call center service quality and service loyalty. Conclusion: In order to improve service loyalty, it is necessary to understand diverse variables. Call center service companies are required to find the ways to improve their service quality, while positively applying the techniques of differentiating the brand personality used by manufacturing companies.

Nursing Performance and Organizational Socialization of New Nurses according to Teaching Style of Preceptors and Personality of New Nurses (프리셉터의 지도유형과 신규간호사의 성격특성에 따른 신규간호사의 간호업무수행과 조직사회화)

  • Purpose: In this study, we examined the differences and relationship between teaching style of preceptors, and personality, nursing performance, and organizational socialization of new nurses. Methods: The participants were 118 new nurses. The data collected from March to May 2011 were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: Teaching style of preceptors was most frequently judgement-initiative, and personality of new nurses was most frequently extraversion. Nursing performance ($3.05{\pm}.59$) and organizational socialization ($3.05{\pm}.59$) of new nurses were at an average level. Nursing performance and organizational socialization of new nurses were not significantly different according to teaching style of preceptors. Significant correlations were found between personality and nursing performance, and between personality and organizational socialization. Conclusion: These findings indicate that changes in perceived teaching style of preceptors and personality of new nurses may be necessary to increase efficiency of preceptorship related to nursing performance and organizational socialization of new nurses. The above-mentioned results should be reflected in the development of effective preceptor training programs.

  • Future society demands a personal who is equipped with personality as well as creativity. In this study is developed an creativity personality-integrated programing education model combining CPS(Creative Problem Solving) method for creativity and narrative approach for personality. The developed model was applied to the 5th, 6th grade students in elementary school. As a result, there were effects of improvement in cultivating both personality as well as creativity. The result may offer implications in developing a creativity personality-integrated education model and curriculums in computer science education.

  • The study were to examine relationship among creativity personality, career awareness, and occupational aspiration of elementary school students. For these purpose, we analysed the data from 322 elementary school students. Finding revealed that creativity personality positively related to career awareness and occupational aspiration. And creativity personality has significantly affected career awareness and occupational aspiration. Result of structural equation modeling analysis was creativity personality and career awareness were effect to occupational aspiration. However, career awareness had no mediating effect on the relation of creativity personality and occupational aspiration. The implication for career education and counseling practice are discussed based on he result of the present study.

Differences in Job Stress, and Job Satisfaction according to Teaching Style, and Personality of Preceptors (프리셉터의 지도유형과 성격특성에 따른 직무스트레스와 직무만족도의 차이)

  • Purpose: In this study, differences and relationship between teaching style, personality, job stress, and job satisfaction among preceptors were examined. Method: The participants were 121 preceptors. Data were collected in November and December 2010 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: The most frequent teaching style was judgement-initiative, and personality scores were highest for conscientiousness. Job stress was average (3.05${\pm}$.59), and job satisfaction was below the mid-point level (2.76${\pm}$.39). Job stress and job satisfaction were significantly different according to teaching style. Significant correlations were found between personality and job stress, and personality and job satisfaction. Conclusion: These findings indicate that changes in perceived teaching style, and personality may be necessary to decrease job stress, and to promote job satisfaction among preceptors. The results of this study should be considered in the development of effective preceptor training programs.

A study on the Personality of Freshman Nursing Students (간호대학 신입생의 인성과 자아존중감에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose. This study is a descriptive study to investigate the effect of freshmen nursing students personality. Methods. Participants were 237 nursing students who studied in 2 nursing colleges in B metropolitan. The period of data collection was from April 1 to 12, 2019. All of this data is analyzed by Frequencies, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA, and Multiple regression using the SPSS 23.0 program. Results. First, the mean score of the personality and self-esteem were $4.03{\pm}0.57$ and $3.87{\pm}0.84points$. Second, personality was significantly different according to perceived family economic status, perceived interpersonal relations, academic stress, and satisfaction on nursing major. Third, the influencing factor in personality of participants was self-esteem, adjusted R2=.188(p<.001). Conclusions. Development of guidance program to improve level of personality and self-esteem of freshmen nursing students is recommended.

Heritability and Familiality of MMPI Personality Dimensions in the Korean Families with Schizophrenia

  • Objective Categorical syndrome such as schizophrenia could be the complex of many continuous mental structure phenotypes including several personality development/degeneration dimensions. This is the study to search heritability and familiality of MMPI personality dimensions in the Korean schizophrenic LD (Linkage Disequilibrium) families. Methods We have recruited 204 probands (with schizophrenia) with their parents and siblings whenever possible. We have used MMPI questionnaires for measuring personality and symptomatic dimensions. Heritabilities of personality dimensions in total 543 family members were estimated using Sequential Oligogenic Linkage Analysis Routines (SOLAR). Personality dimensions in total family members were compared with those in 307 healthy unrelated controls for measuring the familialities using ANOVA analysis. Results Seven of the 10 MMPI variables were significantly heritable and were included in the subsequent analyses. The three groups (control, unaffected 1st degree relative, case) were found to be significantly different with the expected order of average group scores for all heritable dimensions. Conclusion Our results show that the aberrations in several personality dimensions could form the complexity of schizophrenic syndrome as a result of genetic-environment coactions or interactions in spite of some limitations (recruited family, phenotyping).

Children's Emotional inference According to the Character's Personality Traits and Emotional Situations (과제인물의 성격특성과 정서상황에 따른 아동의 정서추론)

  • This study investigated the emotional inferences depending on the children's age, character's personality traits, and emotional situations. One hundred three subjects (34 3-year-olds, 33 5-year-olds and 36 7-year-olds) were recruited from 3 daycare centers and 1 elementary school. Eight stories, consisting of four personality traits (positive-'active','helpful', negative-'selfish','mean') and two emotional situations (equivocal and unequivocal situation), were presented with three pictures each. The statistical methods adopted for the data analysis were repeated measure ANOVA, and paired t-test. The results showed that the 3-year-olds showed lower scores of emotional inferences than the 5- and 7-year-olds. However, there were no significant differences between the 5- and 7-year-olds. Children showed more personal inferential responses in the negative personality trait and equivocal situation.

  • The purpose of this study was to focus on the personality education which is considered a requirement in university education and searched the components to be considered to develop an integrated curricular-noncurricular system to promote the personality education. For this purpose, a method of study was used to explore relevant prior studies in the form of appeal. The basic components of the integrated curricular-noncurricular system for personality education in university are: 'fundamental contents of regular courses of personality education as a fundamental noncurricular program', 'noncurricular areas and hands-on topics related to the contents of regular courses of personality education', 'configuration of integrated curricular-noncurricular system of personality education', 'capacities for personality education and organic categorization', and 'management of follow-up learning'. Finally, the conclusions discussed above were based on the conditions of the leader that could be realized on the basis of the personality education curriculum at the university site.

The relationship between learning personality types and the academic achievement levels of dental hygiene students (일부 치위생과 학생의 학습성격유형과 학업성취도의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between academic personality types and academic achievement in an effort to seek teaching and learning strategies geared toward improving the academic achievement of students. The subjects in this study were 400 dental hygiene students who were randomly selected from three-year colleges in Gyeonggi Province. Their academic personality types and academic achievement were investigated, and the findings of the study were as follows: 1. As for the academic personality types of the subjects, the inquiry-oriented type was most dominant, and the ideal-oriented one was least common. 2. In regard to differences in academic personality types according to academic year, the inquiry-oriented type was most common in every academic year, and there were statistically significant differences(p<.05). 3. As to differences in academic personality types according to academic achievement, the best academic achievement was found in the norm-oriented type, and there were statistically significant differences(p<.05). 4. Concerning differences among the subjects in academic satisfaction according to academic personality types, there were no statistically significant differences(p>.05). When the above-mentioned findings of the study were pieced together, the academic achievement of the subjects varied with their academic personality types, and it's consequently necessary to make an effort to apply different teaching methods and learning methods according to their preferences. As there are individual variances among students in achievement goal, preferred learning method and experience though they study in the same space with different learning methods, the development of student guidance programs tailored to academic personality types seems necessary.
