As online learning continues to be extended, many engineering colleges are engaged in online learning activities. One of the core competencies required of engineering students in a knowledge-convergence society is communication skills. Online discussion activities are frequently used in educational field to improve communication skills. Efforts are being made to provide visual dashboards in online discussion activity systems to more effectively support online discussion activities. However there is less qualitative studies on students' experience in discussion activities. The purpose of this study is to explore the experience of engineering students participating in discussion activities using online discussion systems and visual dashboards. We interviewed 15 students who participated in online discussion activities to achieve their research objectives about their experience in utilizing the online discussion system, their perception of visual dashboards, and their experience in discussion activities. As a result of the study, students' perception of the use of the online discussion activity system, the visual dashboard, and the perception of a sense of social presence were understood. To be more effective in providing tool support, such as discussion activity systems and visual dashboards in online discussion activities, instructors need to understand the nature of learners' online discussion activities.

Objectives: Although a manual for a disaster medical support using Korean medicine doctors for disaster survivors has been developed, education programs for using the manual in disaster situations need to be developed. Thus, the purpose of this study was to analyze existing online education programs for disaster mental health to develop education programs for Korean medicine doctors. Methods: We conducted website searching for disaster mental health education programs using Google. Compositions, contents, hours, methods, costs, organizers, and targets of included educational programs were analyzed qualitatively. Results: After searching, eight websites among a total of 64 were included for the analysis. Lectures consisted of Psychological First Aid, Skills for Psychological Recovery, Self-Care, and Psychological Education after a disaster experience. Training hours for each program ranged from 30 minutes to 31 hours. All lectures were given only online. They could only be taken online. Free lectures were the most common ones. Most of them were for the general public. Conclusions: Findings of this study provide information regarding trends of online education programs for disaster mental health. Our information could be used for developing disaster trauma response education programs for Korean medicine doctors in the future.

Purpose: This research aims to provide empirical evidence on the impact of digital literacy on behavioural intention regarding using technology for distribution of higher education. Design, Methodology, and Approach: Quantitative analysis was carried out using Covariance-Based Structural Equation Model with data collected from 901 students who fully experienced 2-year study online at different universities in Vietnam. The structural model was built with digital literacy as the primary indicator and other variables were included based on modified version of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) by adopting performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, habit, and hedonic motivation variables specifically for education sector. Self-efficacy was added to eliminate possible bias in technology acceptance. Results: From the results of model estimation, digital literacy presented positive impact on the online distribution of higher education in Vietnam. The mediating effects of various indicators such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, habit, hedonic motivation, and self-efficacy are significantly determined by research model. Conclusion: The higher level of digital literacy of the students, the more likely that they will use technology in higher education study, especially online learning. Additionally, the mediating effects of indicators from the UTAUT2 theoretical model were also evident to be positively significant.

Due to the rapid development of computer technology, online learning using ICT technology is already quickly settling in our lives. Music education was conducted mainly in an offline-based environment, but research is being conducted to switch to online because there is no time and space constraint of online education and interactive education led by learners is possible. In this study, we propose design and implement an adaptive learning system to enable adaptive learning online among music education. This system has the following advantages. First, by providing an LMS-based platform, one can solve the social education problem corresponding to economic and geographical factors. Second, both objective learning feedback provided automatically by the online adaptive harmony learning system and teaching feedback. Third, learners can be provided with recommended answers to given harmony exercises. The adaptive online learning system of harmony will lead professors and learners to effectively teach and study.

The quality of the E-learning education in Saudi Arabia has been a major concern by many academicians, especially, and people in general as this platform has not been a priority for education. Not until recently, the world has been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, which makes every education institution shifted to the online platform to continue the education for the students. Thus, many studies on the perceptions on the online learning have been carried out, and though many are focusing on the perceptions by the education institutions' faculty and administration, there is a lack in the amount of study performed to analyse the students' perceptions of online learning during the pandemic time. The current study is conducted by utilising qualitative methods in order to collect information and investigate the students' perception regarding online learning during the pandemic Covid-19, based on their individual experiences. A number of fifteen (15) students were selected as respondents for the study, in which structured interviews were conducted by using a convenient sampling technique for data collection. Through the discussion, all of the positive and negative perceptions of online learning, as well as the factors contributing to those perceptions were identified. The results of the study found that the positive perceptions were contributed based on the flexibility, cost-effectiveness, availability of the electronic research databases, and well-designed online classroom interfaces. For the negative perceptions from using online learning platforms, the respondents informed that they were contributed by the lecturer's delayed feedback, lack of technical support by lecturers, low in self-esteem and self-motivation, feel isolated, one-way of educational methods, and poorly-designed class materials. Through the findings, the school's administration and lecturers would be able to know the struggles experienced by the students, and eventually come out with better solutions to improve their teaching methods.

The purpose of this study was to examine the current development of continuing professional education for librarians with particular foci on online learning and professional competencies. It analyzed the current online training programs at the National Library of Korea along with on-site programs in order to identify their strengths and weaknesses. It also examined best practices of online continuing education abroad where more diverse and interactive delivery methods, such as webinars and webcasts, are used to inform latest and practical topics in the field. It found online training programs are not complementing but playing major roles in continuing professional education. The study also examined the current trends that library continuing educational institutions are applying core competencies schemes to continuing education programs in order to systemize their programs and to strengthen individual librarians' professional competencies.

The interest in online education has increased due to the spread of COVID-19. Especially, in the online environment, the importance of scaffolding, which refers to the help and support provided by instructors or peer learners, is being emphasized. This study aimed to review the antecedents of online scaffolding at the university of Korea through the method of systematic review. For this purpose, we collected 578 studies conducted from 2010 to 2021 and selected 7 studies according to the criteria of selection and exclusion. As a result, we found general features, types, and effects of online scaffolding at the university of Korea. Based on these results, we discussed suggestions and implications for a follow-up study. We hope many empirical kinds of research will be conducted about online scaffolding at the university.

This study aims to help revitalize the real-time online education platform market by analyzing the instructor characteristics, content characteristics, and platform characteristics of real-time online education platforms for local learners in China. A total of 670 questionnaires were collected through an online survey and an empirical analysis was conducted. As a result of the analysis, first, except for attractiveness, which is the characteristic of the instructor, professionalism and sincerity had a significant positive influence on both learning satisfaction. Second, the usefulness, abundance, and appropriateness of content characteristics had a significant positive influence on learning satisfaction. Third, except for interaction, which is a platform characteristic, technology and convenience confirmed a significant positive influence relationship on both learning satisfaction. Fourth, learning satisfaction had a significant positive effect on the intention to continue using. This study presented practical implications for real-time online education platform and future research directions.

This study requires a new paradigm for universities in line with the global pandemic and the 4th industrial revolution. Accordingly, we propose an educational plan for the H university online graduate school in Korea. As a research method, the implications of scholars and experts on future education were synthesized, and the cases of overseas universities using it were analyzed to propose an online graduate school education plan. As a result of the study, online graduate school needs diversity as a venue for providing new opportunities as lifelong education, and to realize this, they use a microcredit. Blockchain technology is introduced so that microcredit can be transparently verified. In addition, to correspond to various convergence major programs and further develop them, problem-solving-oriented teaching methods enhance students' convergent skills as well as active learning and interaction. More detailed curriculum research at online graduate schools is needed in the future, and we hope that you will contribute to the development of online graduate school education based on this study.
