  • In this paper, we study the problem of finding a common solution to a fixed point problem involving a finite family of ρ-demimetric operators and a split monotone inclusion problem with monotone and Lipschitz continuous operator in real Hilbert spaces. Motivated by the inertial technique and the Tseng method, a new and efficient iterative method for solving the aforementioned problem is introduced and studied. Also, we establish a strong convergence result of the proposed method under standard and mild conditions.

  • In this paper, we first provide a convergence result of the generalized two-stage splitting method for solving a linear system whose coefficient matrix is an H-matrix, and then we provide convergence results of the generalized multisplitting and two-stage multisplitting methods for both a monotone matrix and an H-matrix.

  • Let 𝕽n be an Euclidean space and g : 𝕽n → 𝕽n be a monotone and continuous mapping. Suppose the convex constrained nonlinear monotone equation problem x ∈ 𝕮 s.t g(x) = 0 has a solution. In this paper, we construct an inertial-type algorithm based on the three-term derivative-free projection method (TTMDY) for convex constrained monotone nonlinear equations. Under some standard assumptions, we establish its global convergence to a solution of the convex constrained nonlinear monotone equation. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm converges much faster than the existing non-inertial algorithm (TTMDY) for convex constrained monotone equations.

  • Based on the A-maximal(m)-relaxed monotonicity frameworks, the approximation solvability of a general class of variational inclusion problems using the relaxed proximal point algorithm is explored, while generalizing most of the investigations, especially of Xu (2002) on strong convergence of modified version of the relaxed proximal point algorithm, Eckstein and Bertsekas (1992) on weak convergence using the relaxed proximal point algorithm to the context of the Douglas-Rachford splitting method, and Rockafellar (1976) on weak as well as strong convergence results on proximal point algorithms in real Hilbert space settings. Furthermore, the main result has been applied to the context of the H-maximal monotonicity frameworks for solving a general class of variational inclusion problems. It seems the obtained results can be used to generalize the Yosida approximation that, in turn, can be applied to first- order evolution inclusions, and can also be applied to Douglas-Rachford splitting methods for finding the zero of the sum of two A-maximal (m)-relaxed monotone mappings.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new generalized resolvent in a Banach space and discuss its some properties. Using these properties, we obtain an iterative scheme for finding a point which is a fixed point of relatively weak nonexpansive mapping and a zero of monotone mapping. Furthermore, strong convergence of the scheme to a point which is a fixed point of relatively weak nonexpansive mapping and a zero of monotone mapping is proved.

  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce some strong convergence theorems for the problem of finding a common zero of a finite family of monotone operators and the problem of finding a common fixed point of a finite family of nonexpansive in Hilbert spaces by hybrid projection method.

  • In this paper, we propose a modified proximal point algorithm which consists of a resolvent operator technique step followed by a generalized projection onto a moving half-space for approximating a solution of a variational inclusion involving a maximal monotone mapping and a monotone, bounded and continuous operator in Banach spaces. The weak convergence of the iterative sequence generated by the algorithm is also proved.

  • In this paper, we consider a system of nonlinear variational type inclusions involving ($H,{\varphi},{\eta}$)-monotone operators in real Banach spaces. Further, we define a proximal operator associated with an ($H,{\varphi},{\eta}$)-monotone operator and show that it is single valued and Lipschitz continuous. Using proximal point operator techniques, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution and suggest an iterative algorithm for the system of nonlinear variational type inclusions. Furthermore, we discuss the convergence of the iterative sequences generated by the algorithms.

  • In this paper, a new monotonicity, $M({\cdot},{\cdot})$-monotonicity, is introduced in Banach spaces, and the resolvent operator of an $M({\cdot},{\cdot})$-monotone operator is proved to be single valued and Lipschitz continuous. By using the resolvent operator technique associated with $M({\cdot},{\cdot})$-monotone operators, we construct a proximal point algorithm for solving a class of variational inclusions. And we prove the convergence of the sequences generated by the proximal point algorithms in Banach spaces. The results in this paper extend and improve some known results in the literature.

  • In this paper, we introduce two general iterative algorithms (one implicit algorithm and one explicit algorithm) for finding a common element of the solution set of the variational inequality problems for a continuous monotone mapping, the zero point set of a set-valued maximal monotone operator, and the fixed point set of a continuous pseudocontractive mapping in a Hilbert space. Then we establish strong convergence of the proposed iterative algorithms to a common point of three sets, which is a solution of a certain variational inequality. Further, we find the minimum-norm element in common set of three sets.
