This study investigates the effect of a leadership program to enhance leadership skills in children from low-income families. A total of 45 elementary school students participated in the 52-week leadership program. Five leadership scales, such as goal attainment, paradigm shifting skills, skills to lead others, human relationship skills, and sense of purpose, were measured through survey questionnaires before and after implementing the program. In addition, individual teacher interviews examined the influence of the program on students' leadership skills. This study found that participants showed significant improvement after implementing the program in the three domains of the leadership skills (goal attainment, paradigm shifting skills, and human relationship skills); however, the skills to lead others and sense of purpose did not significantly change. The leadership teachers also stated that the program influenced positively on students' leadership skills; in addition, students' behavioral changes were found by developing relationships with other children as well as contemplating and attempting to find a future dream and vision. The leadership program was effective to enhance leadership skills in children from low-income families. This study can provide the theoretical and practical foundations for the development and implementation of effective leadership programs that meet the needs of children from low-income families.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of attachment with parent and peer on the adolescent's leadership life skills. The subjects were 281 students from three middle schools in Incheon city. The data were analyzed by multiple and hierarchical regression. Major findings of this study were as follows; First, present study suggested that parental attachment, peer attachment, and adolescent's leadership life skills were a moderate level. And, adolescent's leadership life skills were a significant differences on the parental and peer attachment, respectively. In particular, the more amicable communication with parents and peers, the more developed their overall leadership life skills. Finally, the peer attachment rather than parental attachment was more influenced on their leadership life skills. Focusing on parental and peer attachment relationship, the educational implication for promoting adolescent's leadership life skills were discussed.

Organizational personnel must have well-developed interpersonal skills to deal with the different stakeholders and departments, to work at different levels in the hierarchy, and to meet varying performance requirements. Many leadership development and mentoring programs are designed to expose students as well as construction professionals to contemporary leadership techniques and skills. Leadership skills generally separate into three decision-making styles with varying degrees: 1) Autocratic, 2) Participate, and 3) Free-rein. This paper describes the study of leadership styles among 174 construction professionals and addresses the most appropriate leadership style for a project executive and a project manager in relation to compare with the characteristic leadership style and job functions. The study supports the growing importance of leadership skills as a component of managerial functions and provides a benchmark to identify a dominant leadership skill for a specific managerial position.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability of scientifically gifted and regular middle school students. The subjects for this study were 351 middle school students in Busan. The results of this study were as follows: First, scientifically gifted students had higher significant differences in leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability than regular middle school students. Second, there were significant positive correlations between leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability. Third, social competence and self-regulation ability affected leadership life skills. This suggests that social competence and self-regulation ability are important variables to develop and improve leadership life skills of gifted students.

The kinds of traits and behaviors studied most frequently in the early leadership research included physical characteristics, personalities, abilities, skills, behaviors and so forth. Researchers who studied leadership emphasized the important role of cultural, counter-insurgent, stability operational and clinical leadership traits and behaviors to perform the special mission of Overseas Forces The purpose of this study was to examine effective leadership traits, behaviors and skills for special mission of ROK Overseas Forces and to find out the differences on leadership traits, skills and behaviors among officers, noncommissioned officers(NCO) and enlisted men of the army. In order to achieve this purpose, a number of literature reviews and survey researches were conducted. The data for the analysis were collected through the questionnaire which consisted of 94leadership traits, skills and behaviors items Subjects were composed of 43 officers, 144 NCOs and 109 enlisted men Although the ranking order of leadership traits, skills and behaviors items among the groups for each analysis did not show much difference, the results of one-way analysis of variance revealed that a few items had a significant statistical difference among the groups. Implications of comparative results were also discussed in this study. In conclusion, this study would be useful basis for further improvement on effective leadership traits, skills and behaviors of ROK Overseas Forces, and some further researches were recommended.

Leadership development corresponds to the focus on the individual's success and competitiveness strategy. This is the optimal direction of the organization of attitude development because it covers two aspects of the student's personality development, professionally-oriented and self-centric. The aim of the study is to identify and compare the leadership level in second-and fourth-year students to see dynamics of development and implementation of the leadership phenomenon in the professional and personal making up of future specialists. Based on the theoretical analysis of the issue, the authors developed an objective and subjective diagnostic model for leadership skills. In this study, data of the objective diagnostic technique are the key. Subjective diagnostic technique for leadership skills provides insights for problem interpretation. At the level of the first group of respondents, the average Leadership Skills Level of the second-year students was quite low and was found within the medium level. The second group of respondents consisting of the fourth-year students showed a slight but effective improvement. The Leadership Skills of this group were found at a sufficient level. Positive dynamics was revealed for all criteria of leadership skills as a result of applying objective diagnostic methods: decreased percentage of students with negative and relatively low markers of Leadership Skills Level and corresponding increase in percentage of applicants with positive markers of Leadership Skills Level. Further research can be organized in the direction of identifying and developing successful universal and professionally-oriented tactics for leadership development in students as part of attitude development.

본 연구는 초등 영재 학생의 리더십 기술 특성을 알아보고 리더십 교육 프로그램 구안 적용을 통해 그 효과를 확인하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 수학, 과학 초등영재 4학년 113명, 5학년 183명, 6학년 192명을 대상으로 학년별, 영역별, 성별로 나타나는 초등 영재 학생들의 리더십 기술 특성을 분석하였다. 연구자에 의해 재구성되고 새롭게 구안된 리더십교육 프로그램을 4, 5, 6학년 실험집단 112명에게 적용하였으나, 통제집단 108명은 아무런 조치를 취하지 않았다. 리더십 프로그램의 효과 검증을 위해 리더십 프로그램을 재구성하여 적용한 후 사전, 사후 검사를 실시한 결과, 리더십 기술 하위요인 점수는 학년별, 성별에서 통계적으로 유의하였고 리더십 교육 프로그램을 통해 리더십 하위영역에서 리더십 기술 점수 향상에 효과가 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 리더십 교육 프로그램이 초등영재 교육과정에 통합되어 운영되어야 한다는 시사점을 안겨준다.

The objective of this study is to suggest the effects of the fit between project managers' competency and leadership style on the performance of IT projects. Also, this study examine that the project duration among the project's characteristics moderates the impact of the managers' competency and leadership style on the performance of IT projects. As the results of analysis, we found that the participative leadership and the supportive leadership of project manager is affected by the human and the conceptual skills, and the directive-achievement leadership is affected by the technical skills positively. The project duration moderates the impact of the fit between the participative leadership and the technical skills. and the fit between the directive-achievement leadership and the technical and the human skills positively.

In this paper, we propose a new program for university student's IT leadership renovation. Automation and Artificial Intelligence(AI) are changing the nature of work. According to MGI report, they will change the skills needed in the workforce. Leadership is one of the skills needed more of in the future at workplace including IT industry. Leadership could be defined as having 5 level leadership. According to the 5 level leadership, a program was formulated to renovate university student's self-leadership, teamwork, team leadership and finally global leadership. We named the program as Stepping-Stone Platform for Student's IT Leadership Renovation(SSP-SLR). Each level of four stepping stones consists of one semester. Student can raise their leadership skills by the program step by step. Various instruction learning methodologies are adopted to the program, including Flipped learning which has been proved effective in many ways in the field of education recently.

As society evolves, people are making more of an effort to learn more about human aspects, one of which is emotional intelligence, a topic on which education experts have traditionally concentrated. This is due to the fact that emotional intelligence has a significant impact on how people think and manage their emotions. On the other side, it promotes the development of expressive ability and aids people in better adapting to life. This study explores the relationship between communication skills, leadership skills, stress management, adaptability, and emotional intelligence of FPT University students to determine the factors that affect students' emotional intelligence. To survey 500 FPT University students, this study used a sample size of 500. Previous studies used a 5-point Likert scale to assess the four skill elements. According to the results, students who completed the survey showed adequate communication skills, leadership qualities, stress management, adaptability, and emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is influenced by communication skills, leadership abilities, stress management, and flexibility. This suggests that students who master these four skills have higher levels of emotional intelligence. The outcomes of this study reveal that students have been conscious of Emotional Intelligence since a young age. The affirmations in this research paper will benefit students and young people interested in enhancing complimentary soft skills that boost Emotional Intelligence.
