  • The aim of this paper is to evaluate four finite integrals involving the product of Srivastava's polynomials, a generalized hypergeometric function and $\bar{H}$-function proposed by Inayat Hussian which contains a certain class of Feynman integrals. At the end, we give an application of our main findings by connecting them with the Riemann-Liouville type of fractional integral operator. The results obtained by us are basic in nature and are likely to find useful applications in several fields notably electric networks, probability theory and statistical mechanics.

  • If p(z) is a polynomial of degree n having all its zeros in |z| ≤ k, k ≤ 1, then for 𝜌R ≥ k2 and 𝜌 ≤ R, Aziz and Zargar [4] proved that $${\max_{{\mid}z{\mid}=1}}{\mid}p^{\prime}(z){\mid}{\geq}n{\frac{(R+k)^{n-1}}{({\rho}+k)^n}}\{{\max_{{\mid}z{\mid}=1}}{\mid}p(z){\mid}+{\min_{{\mid}z{\mid}=k}}{\mid}p(z){\mid}\}$$. We prove a generalized Lr extension of the above result for a more general class of polynomials $p(z)=a_nz^n+\sum\limits_{{\nu}={\mu}}^{n}a_n-_{\nu}z^{n-\nu}$, $1{\leq}{\mu}{\leq}n$. We also obtain another Lr analogue of a result for the above general class of polynomials proved by Chanam and Dewan [6].

  • In this paper, we define the generalized k-balancing numbers {B(k)n} and k-Lucas balancing numbers {C(k)n} and associated polynomials, where n is of the form sk+r, 0 ≤ r < k. We give several formulas for these new sequences in terms of classic balancing and Lucas balancing numbers and study their properties. Moreover, we give a Binet style formula, Cassini's identity, and binomial sums of these sequences.

  • In this paper, Glift codes, generalized lifted polynomials, matrices are introduced. The advantage of Glift code is "distance preserving" over the ring R. Then optimal codes can be obtained over the rings by using Glift codes and lifted polynomials. Zero divisors are classified to satisfy "distance preserving" for codes over non-chain rings. Moreover, Glift codes apply on MDS codes and MDS codes are obtained over the ring 𝓡 and the non-chain ring 𝓡e,s.

  • In this paper we present a cryptanalysis of the generalized patchwork algorithm under the assumption that the attacker possesses only a single copy of the watermarked audio. In the scheme, watermark is inserted by modifying randomly chosen DCT values in each block of the original audio. Towards the attack we first fit low degree polynomials (which minimize the mean square error) on the data available from each block of the watermarked content. Then we replace the corresponding DCT data of the at-tacked audio by the available data from the polynomials to construct an attacked audio. The technique nullifies the modification achieved during watermark embedding. Experimental results show that recovery of the watermark becomes difficult after the attack.

  • A pair of quasi-definite linear functionals {u$_{0}$, u$_1$} is a generalized $\Delta$-coherent pair if monic orthogonal polynomials (equation omitted) relative to u$_{0}$ and u$_1$, respectively, satisfy a relation (equation omitted) where $\sigma$$_{n}$ and T$_{n}$ are arbitrary constants and $\Delta$p = p($\chi$+1) - p($\chi$) is the difference operator. We show that if {u$_{0}$, u$_1$} is a generalized $\Delta$-coherent pair, then u$_{0}$ and u$_{1}$ must be discrete-semiclassical linear functionals. We also find conditions under which either u$_{0}$ or u$_1$ is discrete-classical.ete-classical.

  • A remarkably large number of integrals whose integrands are associated, in particular, with a variety of special functions, for example, the hypergeometric and generalized hypergeometric functions have been recorded. Here we aim at presenting certain (presumably) new and (potentially) useful integral formulas whose integrands are involved in a product of $_2F_1$, Srivastava polynomials, and $Kamp{\acute{e}}$ de $F{\acute{e}}riet$ functions. The main results are derived with the help of some known definite integrals obtained earlier by Qureshi et al. [4]. Some interesting special cases of our main results are also considered.

  • Here, in this paper, we aim at establishing some new unified integral and differential formulas associated with the $\bar{H}$-function. Each of these formula involves a product of the $\bar{H}$-function and Srivastava polynomials with essentially arbitrary coefficients and the results are obtained in terms of two variables $\bar{H}$-function. By assigning suitably special values to these coefficients, the main results can be reduced to the corresponding integral formulas involving the classical orthogonal polynomials including, for example, Hermite, Jacobi, Legendre and Laguerre polynomials. Furthermore, the $\bar{H}$-function occurring in each of main results can be reduced, under various special cases.
