아버지의 역할수행과 아동 및 청소년의 사회성 (Children's Sociality and Perceptions of Fathering Practice in Middle Childhood and Early Adolescence)

  • This study examined relationships between children's perceptions of fathering practice and their sociality. The subjects were 569 grade 6 students and 511 grade 3 students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Major results showed (1) the effectiveness of quantity; that is, children's sociality increased with increase in fathering practice. (2) The coefficient of correlation between fathering practice and children's sociality was higher in middle childhood than in early adolescence. (3) Children's sociality was influenced by child variables and fathering practice variables, especially more by the variables of Fathering Practice. Among the variables of Fathering Practice Scales, the variable of "Education of children" is the most influential element for improving "Children's Sociality".

아동 및 아버지가 지각한 아버지 역할수행이 아동의 사회성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Children's and Fathers' Perceptions of the Fathering Practice on Children's Sociality)

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the fathering practice on children's sociality. The subjects of this research are 569 (grade 6) students who are from 4 elementary schools, and 511 (grade 3) students who are from 4 other middle schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The data was collected using two kinds of questionnaires: Canfield's (1995) Fathering Practice Scale and Urn Guy-Sung's (1999) Children's Sociality Scale. The data was analyzed by frequency, mean, standard deviation, percentage, Cronbach's alpha, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe's post hoc test, and hierarchical regression. The major results of this research are summarized as follows: First, there were differences in children's sociality according to children's and fathers' perceptions of the fathering practices. I classified 1080 students into 4 groups by mean${\pm}$1/2standard deviation of the children's and fathers' perceptions of the fathering practices. The results showed that children's sociality tends to be higher when the children's perceptions of the fathering practice are at a high level (Group 1 and Group 2), compared to when the fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice are at a high level (Group 3 and Group 4). Second, hierarchical regression was divided into two models so as to know how the effects were different from the children's and fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice on children's sociality. In the first model, only the fathers' variables were inputted and fathers' perceptions on fathering practice has significant effects on children's sociality. In the second model, both the children and fathers' variables were inputted into analysis. The fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice were not influenced, but children's perceptions of the fathering practice had great effects on children's sociality. Third, as the result of hierarchical regression with age, mid-childhood has significant effects on children's perceptions of the fathering practice on children's sociality. In addition, early adolescence is an important variable in the effects of the fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice on children's sociality. As a result the fathers' perceptions of the fathering practice are important and influential variables on children's sociality. In the result of this study fathering practice is necessary in children's development.

아버지의 양육참여 및 양육방식이 유아의 사회성에 미치는 영향 : 한국-중국 비교연구 (Effect of father's parenting involvement and parenting style on child's sociality: Comparative study for Korea-China)

  • The purpose of this study, targeting Korean and Chinese fathers(459) having 3-5 year-old children, was to verify whether fathers' parenting involvement, parenting style and sociality of children are different with nationality. Furthermore, it was examined the effect of fathers' parenting involvement and style depending on development of children's sociality. In case of the fathers' parenting involvement, Korean fathers showed higher value compared to Chinese fathers. Chinese children had higher sociality than Korean children. Fathers' parenting involvement and style had positive relationship with children's sociality in Korean fathers and children. Such trend was similar to Chinese fathers and children. Finally, it was found that the fathers' parenting involvement and style played a pivotal role in children's sociality. Especially, higher 'Development Support' among sub-factors of parenting involvement and 'warmth' of parenting style led to higher sociality in children.

유아교사의 교사효능감이 유아의 사회성에 미치는 영향 : 직무만족도와 교사-유아 상호작용 질의 순차적 매개효과 (The Effects of Teacher's Self-efficacy on Children's Sociality : The Serial Multiple Mediating Effects of Job-satisfaction and The Quality of Teacher-Child Interaction)

  • This study examined the effects of teacher's self-efficacy on children's sociality through the mediating effects of job-satisfaction and the quality of teacher-child interaction. The participants in this study consisted of 27 teachers working at child care centers and 71 children(4-5 years old) in their charge in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do province, Korea. Data were analyzed by means of a Hayes's PROCESS(2012) program to identify the serial multiple mediating effects and the relationships which exist among the various factors. The present study found that teacher's self-efficacy had significant indirect effects on children's sociality through job-satisfaction and the quality of teacher-child interaction. These results suggest that a higher level of teacher's self-efficacy leads to greater job-satisfaction and better quality of teacher-child interaction and this in turn has an influence on children's sociality.

주제중심 블록놀이 활동이 유아의 메타인지와 사회성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Theme Centered Block Play Activities on Young Children's Metacognition and Sociality)

  • 본 연구는 주제중심 블록놀이 활동이 유아의 메타인지와 사회성에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 총 60명으로 평균월령은 73개월이었다. 실험집단에서는 주제중심 의 블록놀이 활동을 실시하였고, 비교집단에서는 자유 블록놀이 활동을 실시하였다. '메타인지' 검사와 '사회성' 검사 도구를 사용하여 연구 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 t-검증을 통 해 실험처치의 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 분석 결과, 주제중심 블록놀이 활동에 참여한 실험집단 유아들의 메타인지와 사회성 점수가 자유 블록놀이 활동에 참여한 비교집단 유아들의 점수 보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다.

초등학생의 방과후교실 이용 여부에 따른 사회성과 자아존중감의 차이 및 영향요인 분석 (Differences and Effect of After-School Class Experiences on Elementary Students' Sociality and Self-Esteem)

  • 본 연구는 현재의 방과후교실이 아동의 사회성 및 자아존중감 발달에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 입장에서 방과후 교실을 이용하는 아동과 이용하고 있지 않은 아동의 사회성 및 자아존중감을 비교, 분석하여 그 차이를 밝히고자 하였다. 첫째, 방과후교실을 이용하는 아동과 이용하지 않는 아동의 사회성에 관한 차이에 대하여 분석한 결과, 방과후 교실을 이용하고 있는 아동이 이용하고 있지 않은 아동보다 사회성이 약간 낮은 것으로 나타났으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 아동의 방과후교실 이용 여부에 따른 자아존중감의 차이에 관하여 분석한 결과, 방과후교실을 이용하고 있는 아동이 이용하고 있지 않는 아동보다 자아존중감이 더 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구에서는 방과후교실을 이용하는 아동의 사회성이나 자아존중감이 이용하지 않은 아동에 비해 낮다는 결과를 보여주고 있다. 이러한 점을 고려해 볼 때, 방과후교실을 이용하는 아동의 사회성이나 자아존중감을 높일 수 있는 여러 가지 방안이 모색되어야 할 것이다. 또한 방과후교실이 아동의 안전한 보호와 지도 등 본래의 목적과 더불어 지속적으로 아동의 사회성과 자아존중감을 높여주고 유지시켜 줄 수 있는 프로그램의 개발과 도입이 시행되어야 하겠다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the frequencies of family leisure activities and family meals and family closeness on the sociality of elementary school children. From October 1 to November 30, 2010, data were collected from 290 elementary school children and their parents residing in Seoul and Incheon. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, there was a significant difference between double-income and single-income families in the frequency of family meals single-income families enjoyed fewer family leisure activities and more family meals than double-income families did. Second, the levels of family closeness were significantly predicted by the frequencies of family leisure activities and family meals, and family meals more significantly predicted the levels of family closeness than did family leisure activities. Finally, the frequencies of family leisure activities and family meals significantly predicted the levels of children's sociality, as did the levels of family closeness. In conclusion, family leisure and family meals are important activities that enhance family closeness and children's sociality.

소외된 어린이를 위한 독서프로그램 효과 연구 - '도서관과 함께 책읽기 프로그램'을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effect of Reading Program for Alienation Children: focused on The Reading with Library Program)

  • 본 연구에서는 국립어린이청소년도서관에서 운영하는 '도서관과 함께 책읽기' 프로그램에 참여한 어린이들의 독서교육의 효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 '2009 도서관과 함께 책읽기' 프로그램에 참여한 46개 기관의 초등학생 590명을 대상으로 자아존중감, 사회성, 독서능력을 측정하고 분석하였다. 또한 설문지 조사를 병행하였다. '도서관과 함께 책읽기' 프로그램을 실시한 결과, 참여기관 46개관 중 42개관(91.3%)에서 자아존중감, 사회성, 독서능력 점수가 향상된 것으로 나타났으며, 통계적으로 분석한 결과 '도서관과 함께 책읽기' 프로그램의 효과가 나타난 도서관은 11개관(23.9%)으로 나타났다.

집단미술치료가 시설보호아동의 사회성에 미치는 영향 -분노 및 공감능력을 중심으로- (The Effect of Group Art Therapy on Sociality of Children in Institutional Care -Focus on Anger and Empathy-)

  • 본 연구는 집단미술치료가 시설보호아동의 분노조절 공감능력을 중심으로 한 사회성 향상에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 J도 I시에 소재하고 있는 아동보호시설 두 곳에서 생활하는 아동 12명을 실험집단 6명, 통제집단 6명으로 무선할당 하였다. 실험집단은 주 2회 60분씩 사전 사후검사 변화를 포함하여 총 25회기 집단미술치료프로그램을 실시하였고 통제집단은 무 처치하였다. 연구결과 집단미술치료가 시설보호아동의 사회성 향상, 분노조절 향상, 공감능력 향상에 긍정적 효과가 있었으며 HTP, KSD, DAS 사전 사후검사에서 형식적, 내용적 평가에 긍정적 변화가 있었다. 본 연구를 통해, 집단미술치료가 시설보호아동의 분노조절과 공감능력을 중심으로 사회성 향상에 긍정적인 도움이 된 것을 알 수 있었으며, 시설보호아동을 대상으로 하는 집단미술치료 연구가 치료적인 역할로 사회성 향상에 도움이 될 수 있음을 나타낸다.

교사-유아의 관계와 유아의 또래유능성 및 자기조절능력 간의 관계연구 (Teacher-Child Relations : Interactions with Children's Peer-Competence and Self-Regulation)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the teacher-child relationship as it is self-conceived by teachers in regards to children's peer-competence and self-regulation and to also examine how the teacher-child relationship affects peer-competence and self-regulation. 17 teachers were surveyed using the Student-Teacher Relationship Scale, Peer-Competence Scale and Self-Regulation Scale in regard to approximately 270 children (aged 4-5 years old). Our results indicated that the pro-sociality, sociality, and leadership qualities of child peer-competence correlated positively with the friendliness of teacher-child relationships but correlated negatively in cases of conflicts within the teacher-child relationship. The factors of self-appraisal, self-determination and behavior inhibition of child self-regulation were found to be positively related with the friendliness of teacher-child relation but related negatively with presence of the conflict within the teacher-child relationship. It was also found that sociable and self-determinative children tended to be on more friendly terms with teachers.
