  • In this paper, a boundary version of Schwarz lemma is investigated. We take into consideration a function f(z) holomorphic in the unit disc and f(0) = 0, f'(0) = 1 such that ${\Re}f^{\prime}(z)$ > ${\frac{1-{\alpha}}{2}}$, -1 < ${\alpha}$ < 1, we estimate a modulus of the second non-tangential derivative of f(z) function at the boundary point $z_0$ with ${\Re}f^{\prime}(z_0)={\frac{1-{\alpha}}{2}}$, by taking into account their first nonzero two Maclaurin coefficients. Also, we shall give an estimate below ${\mid}f^{{\prime}{\prime}}(z_0){\mid}$ according to the first nonzero Taylor coefficient of about two zeros, namely z = 0 and $z_1{\neq}0$. The sharpness of these inequalities is also proved.

  • The method of quasilinearization generates a monotone iteration scheme whose iterates converge quadratically to a unique solution of the problem at hand. In this paper, we apply the method to two families of three-point boundary value problems for second order ordinary differential equations: Linear boundary conditions and nonlinear boundary conditions are addressed independently. For linear boundary conditions, an appropriate Green\`s function is constructed. Fer nonlinear boundary conditions, we show that these nonlinearities can be addressed similarly to the nonlinearities in the differential equation.

  • In this paper, some estimations will be given for the analytic functions belonging to the class 𝓡(α). In these estimations, an upper bound and a lower bound will be determined for the first coefficient of the expansion of the analytic function h(z) and the modulus of the angular derivative of the function ${\frac{zh^{\prime}(z)}{h(z)}}$, respectively. Also, the relationship between the coefficients of the analytical function h(z) and the derivative mentioned above will be shown.

  • In this paper, a generalized boundary version of $Carath{\acute{e}}odory^{\prime}s$ inequality for holomorphic function satisfying $f(z)= f(0)+a_pz^p+{\cdots}$, and ${\Re}f(z){\leq}A$ for ${\mid}z{\mid}$<1 is investigated. Also, we obtain sharp lower bounds on the angular derivative $f^{\prime}(c)$ at the point c with ${\Re}f(c)=A$. The sharpness of these estimates is also proved.

  • In this paper, we consider φ-Laplacian nonlocal boundary value problems with singular weight function which may not be in L1(0, 1). The existence and nonexistence of positive solutions to the given problem for parameter λ belonging to some open intervals are shown. Our approach is based on the fixed point index theory.

  • In this paper, we present some inequalities for the non-tangential derivative of f(z). For the function $f(z)=z+b_{p+1}z^{p+1}+b_{p+2}z^{p+2}+{\cdots}$ defined in the unit disc, with ${\Re}\(\frac{f^{\prime}(z)}{{\lambda}f{\prime}(z)+1-{\lambda}}\)$ > ${\beta}$, $0{\leq}{\beta}$ < 1, $0{\leq}{\lambda}$ < 1, we estimate a module of a second non-tangential derivative of f(z) function at the boundary point ${\xi}$, by taking into account their first nonzero two Maclaurin coefficients. The sharpness of these estimates is also proved.

  • An approximate weight function technique using the indirect boundary integral equation has been presented for the analysis of stress intensity foactors(SIFs) of a thick pipe. One-term boundary integral was introduced to represent the crack surface displacement field for the displacement based weight function technique. An explicit closed-form SIF solution applicable to symmetric cracked pipes without any modification of the solution including both circumferential and radial cracks has been derived. The necessary information in the analysis is two or three reference SIFs. In most cases the SIF solution were in good agreement with those available in the literature.

  • In this paper, a boundary version of Carathéodory's inequality on the right half plane for p-valent is investigated. Let Z(s) = 1+cp (s - 1)p +cp+1 (s - 1)p+1 +⋯ be an analytic function in the right half plane with ℜZ(s) ≤ A (A > 1) for ℜs ≥ 0. We derive inequalities for the modulus of Z(s) function, |Z'(0)|, by assuming the Z(s) function is also analytic at the boundary point s = 0 on the imaginary axis and finally, the sharpness of these inequalities is proved.

  • Turbulent boundary layer noise is already a significant contributor to sonar self noise. For developing acoustic window of sonar system to reduce self noise, a parametric study of design factors of acoustic window is presented. Distance of sensor array from acoustic window, material and damping layer are studied as design factors to influence in the characteristics of the transfer function of self noise. As the result these design factors make change the characteristics of transfer function slightly. Among design factors the location of sensor array is most important parameter in the self noise reduction.

  • We consider a boundary version of the Schwarz Lemma on a certain class of functions which is denoted by 𝒩. For the function f(z) = z + a2z2 + a3z3 + … which is defined in the unit disc D such that the function f(z) belongs to the class 𝒩, we estimate from below the modulus of the angular derivative of the function ${\frac{f{^{\prime}^{\prime}}(z)}{f(z)}}$ at the boundary point c with f'(c) = 0. The sharpness of these inequalities is also proved.
