  • The Hausdorff topology induced by a fuzzy metric space under more weak assumptions is investigated in this paper. Another purpose of this paper is to obtain the Banach contraction theorem in fuzzy metric space based on a natural concept of Cauchy sequence in fuzzy metric space.

  • In this paper, we characterize the support for the Dunkl transform on the generalized Lebesgue spaces via the Dunkl resolvent function. The behavior of the sequence of $L^p_k$-norms of iterated Dunkl potentials is studied depending on the support of their Dunkl transform. We systematically develop real Paley-Wiener theory for the Dunkl transform on ${\mathbb{R}}^d$ for distributions, in an elementary treatment based on the inversion theorem. Next, we improve the Roe's theorem associated to the Dunkl operators.

  • The Purpose Of this Paper is to introduce the concept of a class of strictly successively hemicontractive mappings and construct certain stable and almost stable iteration procedures for the iterative approximation of fixed points for asymptotically nonexpansive and strictly successively hemicontractive mappings in Banach spaces.

  • In this work, we construct Kantorovich type generalization of a class of linear positive operators via Riemann type q-integral. We obtain estimations for the rate of convergence by means of modulus of continuity and the elements of Lipschitz class and also investigate weighted approximation properties.

  • Let X and Y be topological vector spaces. For a sequence {$T_j$} of bounded operators from X into Y the $c_0$-multiplier convergence of ${\sum}T_j$ is an invariant on topologies which are stronger (need not strictly) than the topology of pointwise convergence on X but are weaker (need not strictly) than the topology of uniform convergence on bounded subsets of X.

  • Let X and Y be normed linear spaces. An operator T defined on X with the range in Y is continuous in the sense that if a sequence {x$_{n}$} in X converges to x for the weak topology .sigma.(X.X') then {Tx$_{n}$} converges to Tx for the norm topology in Y. We shall denote the class of such operators by WC(X, Y). For example, if T is a compact operator then T.mem.WC(X, Y). In this note we discuss relationships between WC(X, Y) and the class of weakly of bounded linear operators B(X, Y). In the last section, we will consider some characters for an operator in WC(X, Y).).

  • We obtain a new criterion for the boundedness and compactness of the weighted composition operators ${\psi}C_{\varphi}$ from ${\ss}^{{\alpha}}$(0 < ${\alpha}$ < 1) to ${\ss}^{{\beta}}$ in terms of the sequence $\{{\psi}{\varphi}^n\}$. An estimate for the essential norm of ${\psi}C_{\varphi}$ is also given.

  • Localization of sequences with respect to Riesz bases for Hilbert spaces are comparable with perturbation of Riesz bases or frames. Grochenig first introduced the notion of localization. We introduce more general definition of localization and show that exponentially localized sequences and polynomially localized sequences with respect to Riesz bases are Bessel sequences. Furthermore, they are frames provided some additional conditions are satisfied.

  • Let $\{{\varphi}_n\}_{n{\geq}1}$ be a sequence of analytic self-maps of ${\mathbb{D}}$. It is proved that if the union set of the ranges of the composition operators $C_{{\varphi}_n}$ on the weighted Bergman spaces contains the disk algebra, then ${\varphi}_k$ is an automorphism of ${\mathbb{D}}$ for some $k{\geq}1$.

  • This paper treats the problem of estimating an arbitrary parametric function in the case when the parameter and sample spaces are countable and the decision space is arbitrary. Using the notions of a stepwise Bayesian procedure and finite admissibility, a theorem is proved. It shows that under some assumptions, every finitely admissible estimator is unique stepwise Bayes with respect to a finite or countable sequence of mutually orthogonal priors with finite supports. Under an additional assumption, it is shown that the converse is true as well. The first can be also extended to the case when the parameter and sample space are arbitrary, i.e., not necessarily countable, and the underlying probability distributions are discrete.
