  • Social Network Service is a web-based service that allows the people to construct relationship among users with same interest and supports various activities such as managing personal relations and sharing information or contents. The objective of this study is analysing the influence of the innovativeness on the use intention in SNS based on the UTAUT model. This study establishes a theoretical model that includes four independent variables(performance expectancy, effort expendancy, social influence, innovativeness) and two moderating variables(gender and innovativeness). The empirical results obtained in a sample of 403 university students are followings; 1) The use intention is positively influenced by the performance expectancy, effort expendancy, social influence and innovativeness. The effort expectancy is the strongest predictor of the use intention 2) The gender has a moderating effect whileas the innovativeness has no moderating effect. For men, the stronger the effect of performance expectancy on the use intention and for women, the stronger the effect of social influence on the use intention.

  • This study examined relations of emotional labor, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention in nurses. The subjects were 320 nurses in 5 general hospitals. The data was collected using a structured questionnaire from August 1 to 20, 2013 and analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and Hierarchical multiple linear regression analysis. The mean scores of the emotional labor level, job satisfaction level, organizational commitment, and turnover intention was $2.79{\pm}.66$, $3.05{\pm}.48$, $3.00{\pm}.53$, and $3.13{\pm}.66$, respectively. Positive correlations of the turnover intention with emotional labor were found. Negative correlations were observed among salary, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. These results showed that nurses working at five general hospitals needed to minimize emotional labor to maintain a comparatively high level of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and decrease the turnover intention.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effects of interpersonal relationship ability, job stress, and stress coping type on the turnover intention of nurses in the early stage of their careers. Methods: Data were collected from 136 early stage nurses from two general hospitals and one tertiary hospital in Chungbuk province. An early stage nurse was defined as the nurse with a work experience of 3 to 36 months. The collected data were analyzed using independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U test, Person's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: It was seen that turnover intention had a negative correlation with interpersonal competency (r=-.20, p=.020) and a positive correlation with job stress (r=.56, p<.001). Job stress due to work over load, inadequate compensation and working environment, interpersonal relationship ability, and length of clinical career were significant factors influencing turnover intention (p<.05). These variables explained for 50.4% of the variance in turnover intention. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop an interpersonal relationship ability improvement program to decrease turnover intention among early stage nurses by helping them to successfully adapt to their job. Moreover, it is important to bring about continuous improvements in terms of provision of adequate workload and appropriate rewards, and creation of a suitable work environment to reduce the job stress of early stage nurses.

  • The purposes of this study were to understand the influence of perceived service quality in Korean food restaurants on customer satisfaction and behavioral intention and to empirically analyze whether trust plays a mediating role between both the relations of the perceived service quality and customer satisfaction and the perceived service quality and behavioral intention. Based on total 303 samples obtained from empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of 5 hypotheses using the Amos program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously by using a structural equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, $X^2{_{(df131)}}$ = 536.566, p<.01, RMR .126, GFI .841, NFI .896, CFI .919, RMSEA .101. The SEM results showed that the perceived service quality(${\beta}$= .823, t = 9.392, p<.001) had a significant positive effect on trust had a significant positive effect on trust, and trust had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction(${\beta}$ = .730, t = 14.202, p<.001) and behavioral intention(${\beta}$ = .239, t = 3.362, p<.001). Also, customer satisfaction had a significant positive effect on behavioral intention(${\beta}$ = .509, t = 6.978, p<.001). In addition, the effect of the perceived service quality in Korean food restaurants upon behavioral intention was found to be partially mediated by the trust.

  • The importance of corporate social responsibility has been more highlighted recently for the sustainable management of the company. The purpose of this study is to empirically find out if the effects of CSR activities on public corporation are shown as same as they are on the private companies which have been verified in the previous studies. We set 'CSR activities' and 'Brand Image' to the independent variables and 'Corporate favorableness' and 'Purchase intention' to the dependent variables. The empirical analysis results are as follows. We have found that high positive causal relations are shown in 'CSR activities' ${\rightarrow}$ 'Corporate favorableness', 'CSR activities' ${\rightarrow}$ 'Purchase intention' and 'Brand image' ${\rightarrow}$ 'Corporate favorableness', 'Brand image' ${\rightarrow}$ 'Purchase intention'. Therefore just as product related 'Brand image' influences positively on purchase intention, the CSR activities have positive influence on product purchase intention and on the whole corporate image as well.

  • In this paper is a descriptive survey research to compare correlations among the job stress, job satisfaction, emotional labor, and turnover intention of nurses between the comprehensive nursing care service and general wards. The subjects include total 185 nurses that consisted of 93 nurses at the comprehensive nursing care service ward and 92 at the General Ward. Results of this study are as follows; The study analyzed correlations among the job stress, job satisfaction, emotional labor, and turnover intention of nurses at the comprehensive nursing care service and general wards and found that both the groups showed significant positive correlations between job stress and emotional labor, between job stress and turnover intention, and between emotional labor and turnover intention, which indicates that higher job stress led to higher emotional labor and that higher job stress and emotional labor led to higher turnover intention. These findings raise a need to increase the manpower standard, offer proper rewards, and improve the work environment and treatment for nurses, who play the pivotal roles at the hospital organization, to solve their increased job stress and emotional labor issues and ultimately ensure the successful expansion of the comprehensive nursing care service system. There should be multifaceted efforts to reduce the turnover of skilled nurses that are capable of providing quality nursing service.

  • Internet companies that utilize social network have increased in number. The introduction of diverse social media services facilitated innovative changes in e-business. Social network service (SNS), which is a domain of social media, is a web-based service designed to strengthen human relations in the Internet and build new social relations. The remarkable growth of social network services and the profit generation and perception of this service are the new growth engines of this digital age. Given this development, many global IT companies views SNS as the most powerful form of social media. Thus, they invest efforts to develop business models using SNS.2) This study verifies the impact of privacy exposure in SNS as a result of privacy invasion. This study examines the purpose of using the SNS and user's awareness of the significance of personal information, which are key factors that affect self-disclosure of personal information. This study utilizes theory of reasoned action (TRA) to provide a theoretical platform that describes the specific behavior and emotional response of individuals. This study presents a research model that considers negative attitude (negatude). In this model, self-disclosure in SNS is considered a TRA. TRA is a subjective norm, a behavioral intention, and a key variable of exposure behavior. A survey was conducted on college students at Y university in Seoul to empirically verify the research model. The students have experiences in using SNS. A total of 198 samples were collected. Path analysis was applied to analyze the relations of factors. The results of path analysis show the statistically insignificant impact of privacy invasion on negatude, subjective norm, behavioral intention, and exposure behavior. The impact of unrecognized privacy invasion was also considered insignificant. The impacts of intention to use SNS on negatude, subjective norm, behavioral intention, and exposure behavior was significant. A significant impact was also found for the significance of personal information on subjective norm, behavioral intention, and exposure behavior, whereas the impact on negatude was insignificant. The impact of subjective norm on behavioral intention was significant. Lastly, the impact of behavioral intention on exposure behavior was insignificant. These findings are significant because the study examined the process of self-disclosure by integrating psychological and social factors based on theoretical discussion.

  • The research for exchange relationship in customer's perspective is meaningful especially in service, considering distinctive characteristics of service operations such as customer participation in the process whereas most of the recent related researches have been focused on employee's interaction with organization, leader, team and customer. In this study for beauty art service, the exchange party's characteristic is defined with beauty salon's reputation, staff's professionalism and customer's self-esteem. Also the exchange relation perception is classified into symbolism and interaction, Then the directional relations on customer's perspective are empirically investigated in the sequential order of the exchange party's characteristics, the exchange relation perception, the relationship quality and behavioral intention. In addition, the study examined the meditation effect via relationship quality between the exchange relation perception and the behavioral intention. Followings are confirmed from the statistical test with structural equation modelling:Symbolism is significantly caused by all of professionalism, reputation and self-esteem in the descending order of effect size whereas interaction is significantly influenced by only professionalism. The exchange relation perception has significant effect on the relationship quality, in turn which significantly affects behavioral intention. The exchange relation perception shows the significant indirect effect meditated by relationship quality and the insignificant direct effect on behavioral intention. This paper concludes with contribution of this study, managerial implication of the research findings and further research issues.
