청소년 소비자의 구매의사결정과 수입상품 선호도 (Decision making process & preference for imported products of adolescent consumers)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the decision making process & preference for imported products and to suggest the systematic education programs for adolescent consumers. The data for this research were attained from 426 middle & high school students in Pohang. The data were analyzed by frequency distribution. mean standard deviation analysis of variance t-test, χ(sup)2-test and Pearson’s correlation with SAS program. The results of this study were as follows: 1. preference for imported products was significantly different according to sex, amount of pocket money, region. T.V advertising, friends and the attitude of their mothers. 2. Decision making process was composed of 4 dimensions in this study; information sources criteria for products problem experience of consumption and type of problem solving. In case of information sources there was a signifiant difference according to sex. grade level of parents’education. Criteria for products were significantly different according to sex grade. level of father’s education type of father’s job amount of pocket money and how they gained their pocket money. Consumption problem experience & type of problem solving were significantly different according to sex and grade. 3. Preference for imported products was significantly different according to criteria for products and consumption problem experience out of adecision making process.

직관적 수준에서 초등학생들의 수학 문제해결 과정 분석 (An Analysis on the Elementary Students' Problem Solving Process in the Intuitive Stages)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 직관적 수준에서 초등학생들의 수학 문제해결 과정을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 수와 연산, 도형 및 측정 영역을 대상으로, 알고리즘에 의한 해결에서부터 직관적 판단에 의해 해결이 가능한 8문제로 구성된 검사 도구를 제작하여 조사연구를 실시하였다. 직관적 수준에 따른 결과 분석에서는 본 연구에서 설정한 분석틀을 따랐다. 분석 결과, 직관적 수준에서 해결 가능한 문제에 대한 정답률이 전반적으로 낮게 나타났다. 내용 영역별로 살펴보면, 수와 연산 영역에서는 알고리즘 수준에 의한 정답률이 높았지만, 도형 및 측정 영역에서는 직관적 수준에 의한 정답률이 높았다. 결과 분석을 통해 알고리즘 적용에 필요한 요소가 문제에 제시되지 않은 경우에 학생들은 문제 구조에 대한 통찰을 통해 답을 하려는 경향을 가지고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이에 통찰을 통해 직관적으로 해결할 수 있는 다양한 문제의 개발과 직관적 원리에 의한 교육 방안을 마련할 필요성을 제기하였다.

수학화 경험 수업에서 나타난 초등학생의 수학적 능력 및 수학화 분석 (The Analysis of Mathematical Abilities and Mathematization in the Mathematising Experience Instruction for Elementary Students)

  • This study, to effectively teach the concepts, principles and problem solving ability of the 2nd graders' learning of numbers and operations, offers realistic problem situation and focuses on the learning based on 'mathematization', one of the most important principles of RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) which is the mathematics education trend of Netherlands influenced by Freudenthal's theory. The instruction is applied to forty-one students of the 2nd grader for six weeks in twelve series in an elementary school, located in Seoul. To investigate the effects of the mathematising experience instruction for improving mathematical abilities, the group takes tests before and after the instruction. Also the qualitative analysis on the students' mathematising aspects through students' output at the instruction process is taken into account to evaluate the instruction's effects. The result shows that the mathematising experience instruction for improving mathematical abilities is proved to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts and principles and their problem solving ability in learning numbers and operations after carrying out this instruction. Also the result indicates that students' mathematising aspects are mostly horizontal and vertical mathematization.

간호사의 간호정보역량, 문제해결능력 및 업무수행능력 (Influence of Nursing Informatics Competencies and Problem-solving Ability on Nursing Performance Ability among Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the nursing informatics competencies, problem-solving ability, and nursing performance ability of nurses, and to determine factors that affect their nursing performance ability. Methods: Data were collected from 210 clinical nurses employed by a general hospital having more than 500 beds in Seoul. The data were collected from June to October, 2014. The questionnaires included a nursing informatics questionnaire, the Korea problem solving process inventory, and a nurse performance appraisal tool. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Nursing performance ability had statistically significant correlation with nursing informatics competencies (r=.49, p<.001) and problem-solving ability (r=.66, p<.001). Factors influencing nursing performance ability were problem-solving ability, nursing informatics competencies, work experience, and educational status, accounting for 54% of the variance. Conclusion: Findings indicate that nursing informatics competencies and problem-solving ability have important influences on the nursing performance ability of clinical nurses. Thus, in order to provide an improvement in nursing performance ability, educational programs towards nurses' problem-solving ability and nursing informatics competencies should be provided.

목공 제품 제작 활동에서 디자인 씽킹의 활용이 학생들의 만족도와 문제해결력에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effect of Students' Problem Solving Ability and Satisfactions in Woodworking Product Making Program Using Design Thinking)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 목공 제품(새집, Birdhouse) 제작 체험 활동 프로그램에서 디자인 씽킹 활용이 예비기술교사인 대학생들의 만족도와 문제해결력에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하는 것이다. 설문 대상자는 비교과프로그램으로 체험활동을 실시한 33명 대학생들이며, 설문 문항은 만족도, 문제해결 자신감, 어려웠던 점 및 어려움 원인 등이며, 분석은 통계프로그램을 활용하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체험 활동에 대한 전체 만족도 평균은 4.39로 다소 높은 편이다. 응답 평균이 가장 높은 것은 '제작하는 과정에서 성취감'과 '주위의 조언이 도움 됨'(M=4.46)이었다. 남녀별, 학년별로 유의미한 차이는 없지만, 학생들은 주어진 작품이 아닌 조별로 디자인 씽킹을 활용하여 서로 다른 새집을 제작하여 흥미로웠고 만족하였다. 따라서 문제해결 자신감, 성취감과 만족도가 높아 다른 학생들에게 추천하고 싶다고 하므로 디자인 씽킹을 활용한 제작 체험 활동 프로그램은 효과적이라고 판단된다. 둘째, 디자인 씽킹을 활용한 조별 체험활동 후 문제해결 자신감 응답 평균은 3.80 정도이다. 학생들은 조별로 새집 제작 체험 활동을 통해서 문제해결능력과 어려운 상황에 대한 대처능력 등 문제 해결에 자신감을 가질 수 있는 기회가 되었다고 하였으므로, 추후 체험활동에서는 어려웠던 점을 분석하여 보완하면 만족도 향상에 도움이 될 것이다. 셋째, 문제해결능력 자신감 설문 문항에서, 가장 높은 상관관계를 보인 것은 '나에겐 여러 문제를 해결할 능력이 있다'와 '나는 언제나 새롭고 어려운 상활을 대처할 능력이 있다'이다. 따라서 학생들의 문제해결능력 자신감 향상을 위해서는 문제해결능력 역량을 강화할 수 있는 교수·학습 프로그램을 마련해야 할 것이다. 넷째, 주어진 설계도가 아닌 직접 설계하고 제작하는 과정에서 가장 어려웠던 점은 '작품 아이디어의 수정·발전 과정'이라고 하였으며, 어려움을 느낀 가장 큰 원인은 '해결 지식 부족과 제작 능력 부족'이다. 따라서 디자인 씽킹을 활용한 목공 제품을 만들기 위해서는 제작 전에 목공 및 디자인 씽킹에 대한 충분한 교육을 받는다면 작품 제작에 도움이 될 것이다. 종합한 결과, 창의성과 문제해결력 향상에 도움이 되는 디자인 씽킹을 활용한 팀별 학습은 만족도가 높았다. 따라서 다른 체험활동에서 디자인 씽킹을 적용하고 분석하는 연구 결과는 학생들의 문제해결력 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

학교내 무한상상실을 활용한 메이커교육 프로그램 적용이 초등학생의 창의적 문제해결력과 자기주도적 학습력에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Maker Education Program in School Maker Space on Creative Problem Solving Ability and Self-Directed Learning Ability of Elementary Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of application of maker education program in school maker space on the creative problem solving ability and self-directed learning ability of elementary students. For research, we secured 18 periods of creative experience activities with 5 categories appropriate for elementary students, and integrated these activities into an elementary maker education program in school maker space. Pre and post tests were done before and after application of this maker education program to assess the changing in participants' creative problem solving ability and self-directed learning ability. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the maker education program meaningfully improved the creative problem-solving abilities of elementary school students. Second, the maker education program meaningfully improved the self-directed learning abilities of elementary school students. From interview with the students, we could know that this program made the students have self-confidence and gave them favorable impression.

단순 시설입지 선정문제에 대한 쌍대기번 휴리스틱 (A Dual-Based Heuristic Algorithm for the Simple Facility Location Problem)

  • This paper presents a heuristic algorithm for solving the simple facility location problem. Its main procedure is essentially of 'add' type, which progressively selects facilities to open according to a certain criterion derived from the analysis of the linear programming dual. Computational experience with test problem from the literature is presented.

간호 대학생의 데이트 폭력 가해경험과 폭력허용도, 사회적 문제해결능력의 융합적 관계 (The Convergent Relationship Between Dating Violence Experience, Violence Tolerance, and Social Problem Solving Ability of Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호 대학생의 데이트 폭력 가해경험, 폭력 허용도, 사회적 문제해결능력의 정도를 확인하고, 이들 간의 관계를 파악하는 것이다. 충청권 소재 5개 대학교에서 편의 표집된 간호학과 대학생 219명에게 자가보고 형식의 질문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 20.0프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ${\chi}^2$ test, Partial correlation coefficients를 시행하였다. 그 결과, 간호대학생의 데이트 폭력 가해경험이 높을수록 데이트 폭력 허용도가 높고(r=0.31, p<.001), 데이트 폭력 허용도가 높을수록 사회적 문제해결능력이 부정적임(r=-0.26, p<.001)을 알 수 있었고, 학과 만족도와 음주 정도가 데이트 폭력 가해와 관련이 있는 것으로 나타난다. 따라서 데이트 폭력을 예방하기 위해 데이트 폭력 허용도에 대한 올바른 인식과 사회적 문제해결능력을 함양시키기 위한 데이트 폭력 예방 교육 및 훈련 프로그램을 마련하는데 합리적인 근거를 제시하였다.

수학교육에서 시각화와 직관 (Visualization and Intuition in Mathematics Education)

  • Visualization have strong driving force that enables us to recognize abstract mathematics by direct and specific method in school mathematics. Specially, visual thinking helps in effective problem solution via intuition in mathematics education. So, this paper examines the meaning of visualization, the role of visualization in intuitive problem solving process and the methods for enhancement of intuition using visualization in mathematics education. Visualization is an useful tool for illuminating of intuition in mathematics problem solving. It means that visualization makes us understand easily mathematical concepts, principles and rules in students' cognitive structure. And it makes us experience revelation of anticipatory intuition which finds clues and strategy in problem solving. But, we must know that visualization can have side effect in mathematics learning. So, we have to search for the methods of teaching and learning which can increase students' comprehension about mathematics through visualization and minimize side aspect through visualization.

Applying design thinking to the educational problems: A student-centered instructional approach and practice in an undergraduate course

  • The aim of this study is to provide the values and descriptive implications of the Design Thinking (DT) method into the context of educational problems of practice in an undergraduate course. To achieve the research objective, both quantitative and qualitative studies were conducted. For the qualitative study, the student's productions and reflections on the experience of the application of the DT into educational problems were analyzed. For the quantitative research, one-group pre and post-test were designed to validate the effectiveness of the DT method into educational contexts in terms of creativity level to measure the student's Creativity Potential and Practiced Creativity, Academic Self-Efficacy Scale, and Problem-Solving Inventory. This study validated that the DT method had a statistically significant influence on those three competencies and also illustrated the detailed process from a qualitative viewpoint. The results and implications reflect the potential of the DT approach with the educational problem of practice, especially, in the ill-structured problem-solving contexts for student-centered instructional setting.
