Purpose: This study was done to build and verify a model of clinical nurses' turnover intention using organizational characteristics, job satisfaction and job embeddedness. Methods: The study participants were 389 hospital nurses. SPSS and AMOS 22.0 program were used to analyze the data and the modeling of turnover intention. Results: A total of 41% of turnover intention was explained by job satisfaction, job embeddedness and organizational characteristics. Nurses with higher job satisfaction and job embeddedness showed lower turnover intention, while organizational characteristics had an indirect effect on their turnover intention. It was found that organizational characteristics had positive effects on both job satisfaction and job embeddedness, and job embeddedness played a mediating role between organizational characteristics and turnover intention. Conclusion: To reduce nurses' turnover intention, hospitals' organizational characteristics should be considered. Nurse managers should strive to increase nurses' job satisfaction and job embeddedness through an understanding of the factors of organizational characteristics such as organizational fairness, nursing work environment, motivation, organizational citizenship behavior, and transformational leadership.

The aim of the present study is to investigate the structural relationships of organizational work-family support, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention among Korean hotel employees. In order to achieve the study goal, frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and covariance structure analysis were undertaken using SPSS(18.0) and AMOS(18.0). The result shows that organizational work-family support has a significantly positive effect on job satisfaction and it also positively impacts on organizational commitment. However, it doesn't have any significant effect on turnover intention. This study also suggests that each of job satisfaction and organizational commitment has a significantly negative effect on turnover intention. Through the abovementioned results, we can find out that each of job satisfaction and organizational commitment can completely mediate the relationship between organizational work-family support and turnover intention.

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between perceived organizational justice(distributive, procedural, interactional), job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention information technology firm. I made the theoretical proposed model to explain these relationships between the constructs, identify the operational definitions and 5 hypotheses(6 sub-hypotheses) was established. The research came to the conclusions as follows: First, perceived justice had the positive effect to the job satisfaction and organizational commitment empirically. Second, I found the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment was positive. Third, job satisfaction had not the positive effect directly, but indirect effect via organizational commitment was identified in turnover intention by empirical test. Finally, perceived organizational justice, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention was significantly related and to decrease the turnover intention, varieties of methods and ways would be developed that raise the perceived organizational justice, job satisfaction, organizational commitment.

The purposes of this study were (1) to describe the effects of transformational leadership and transactional leadership on the hospital member's organizational commitment and turnover intention, (2) to provide with fundamental data in enhancing organizational effectiveness. For this purpose, the types of leadership, organizational commitment and turnover intention were evaluated among hospital members. A survey was conducted with 827 respondents working in a general hospital in Sungnam-shi. For the data analysis SPSS 10.0 was utilized. To verify the reliability and validity of variables, Chronbach's ${\alpha}$ and confirmatory factor analysis were processed. After descriptive analysis, regression analysis was conducted. In these progresses all the statistical significant levels were set at ${\alpha}$= 0.05. Results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, the types of leadership had differences in the level of organizational commitment and turnover intention of the hospital members and then transformational leadership had a more influence than did transactional leadership. Second, there were significant correlations for organizational commitment and turnover intention with overall characteristics of leadership(p<.05). Third, the factor influencing hospital member's organizational commitment and turnover intention were transformational leadership(p<.001). Total explanatory powers($R^2$) were 20.2% (organizational commitment) and 12.1%(turnover intention). Multiple regression analysis demonstrated that organizational commitment significantly high when transformational leadership was higher and it also showed turnover intention was significantly lower. In conclusion, the results of this study show that the leadership influence hospital member's organizational commitment and turnover intention and they are different the types of leadership. This results suggest that in order to be as successful leaders in hospital, the leaders should know their employee's behaviors and change their leadership styles.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of job embeddedness on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention in the food and beverage division of hotels. In addition, this study sought to identify the effects of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on turnover intention. Based on the literature reviews, five hypotheses were tested: job embeddedness was positively related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment and negatively related to turnover intention and job satisfaction and organizational commitment were negatively related to turnover intention. The subjects evaluated in this study were employees of the food and beverage division of five or four stars hotels in Seoul. Five hundred questionnaires were distributed and 293 were collected from July 1, 2009 to August 31, 2009, using convenience sampling method. After removing useless questionnaires, a total of 250 questionnaires (five-stars hotel 177, four-stars hotel 73) were analyzed using the factor analysis, a reliability test, and structural equation modeling analysis. The results revealed that job embeddedness was positively related to job satisfaction (t=8.762), organizational commitment (t=5.364) and negatively related to turnover intention (t=-3.500). Therefore, hypothesis I, II and III were accepted. However, job satisfaction (t=-.933) and organizational commitment (t=-1.923) were not negatively related to turnover intention. Therefore, hypothesis IV and V were rejected.

Purpose: This cross-sectional survey study explored the moderating effect of social support between hierarchy-oriented nursing organizational culture and turnover intention in clinical nurses. Methods: Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from 240 nurses working at three general hospitals in February 2018. Hierarchy-oriented nursing organizational culture, turnover intention and social support were measured using 5, 6, and 8 items, respectively, of validated instruments. Descriptive analysis and hierachical multiple regression were conducted using SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Nurses rated $3.66{\pm}0.50$ for hierarchy-oriented nursing organizational culture, $3.40{\pm}0.64$ for turnover intention, and $3.77{\pm}0.56$ for social support respectively. Nurses' turnover intention was positively correlated with hierarchical organizational culture, but negatively with social support. The moderating effect of social support was not significant in the relationship between hierarchical nursing organizational culture and turnover intention. Conclusion: It is required to improve the hierarchy-oriented nursing organizational culture. Institutional preparation and education are urgently needed to strengthen the boss and peer support for clinical nurses and finally to reduce turnover intention.

Purpose: This study aimed at exploring the impacts of organizational conflict and job satisfaction on the turnover intention among dental technicians. Methods: This study utilized a descriptive research design. A structured questionnaire was administered to 159 dental technicians. Of the collected questionnaires, data from 127 valid questionnaires were analyzed using t-tests, analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression using the IBM SPSS 20.0 statistical package. Results: A positive correlation was identified between organizational conflict and turnover intention (r=0.46, p<0.001); however, a negative correlation was shown between job satisfaction and turnover intention (r=-0.50, p<0.001). A hierarchical multiple-regression model was employed to analyze working hours, unfair treatment from dentists and dental hygienists, organizational conflict, and job satisfaction, which contributed to providing an explanation to 39% of the turnover intention of dental technicians (F=14.16, p<0.001). Furthermore, organizational conflict (β=0.32, p<0.001), job satisfaction (β=-0.31, p=0.003), and working hours (β=0.21, p=0.010) were all shown to affect turnover intention. Conclusion: The impact of the negative consequences of organizational conflict and working hours on the turnover intention should be considered within core strategies for increasing the turnover periods for dental technicians.

The purpose of this research was to examine the construct known as job fit perceived by service employees in the foodservice industry. The model was tested using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 4.0 based on the sample of 667 persons that showed a 95% usable response rate. The results of the empirical analysis showed as follows. First, in restaurants, the employees' job suitability factor brings about an indirect effect by organizational commitment and turnover intention. Second, employees' job satisfaction factor causes an indirect effect by organizational commitment. Third, employees' organizational commitment factor has relationships with turnover intention. That is, the higher organizational commitment, the lower turnover intention. By the same route analysis, job suitability has an effect on organizational commitment. Also, the research proved organizational immersion has an effect on turnover intention. In this respect, the research contributes to job performance of foodservice employees, emphasizing the necessity of educational programs for them.

Purpose: In this study factors affecting job satisfaction and turnover intention of nurses were explored in the context of organizational culture, self- leadership, and empowerment. Methods: Participants were 286 nurses drawn from 3 general hospitals. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and hierarchial multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: Significant differences in job satisfaction and turnover intention were found according to organizational culture types. Significant positive correlations were found between self-leadership, empowerment, task oriented organizational culture, relationship oriented organizational culture, innovation oriented organizational culture and job satisfaction. On the other hand, significant negative relationships were found between empowerment, relationship oriented organizational culture, innovation oriented organizational culture and turnover intention. The factors that enhance job satisfaction were found to be higher innovation-oriented organizational culture. Lower turnover intention was shown to be positively associated with relationship- or innovation oriented organization culture. Conclusion: Innovation oriented organizational culture is needed in order to raise job satisfaction and reduce turnover intention of nurses.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find out factors that affect turnover intention among dental hygienists. This study also provides a method to decrease the turnover intention, and demonstrates plans to improve organizational effectiveness. Methods : The data was collected from 300 dental hygienists working at dental clinics in Daegu and Kyungbuk province during the month of September, 2010. The total of 152 copies were used for analysis. The questionnaires were consisted of 6 categories: turnover intention, empowerment, organizational commitment, burnout, stress, and job satisfaction. T-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, multiple regression were applied in this analysis. Results : 1. Looking at the relations between turnover intention and general characteristics, urnover intention was the highest among 20-29 age group, junior college graduates, and the group that had lees than 2-5 years of working experiences(p<0.05). Regarding marital status, singles had higher turnover intention than married people. 2. Looking at the correlation among turnover intention, empowerment, organizational commitment, burnout, stress, and job satisfaction, most of these factors showed significant correlations. However the correlations between organizational commitment and stress, stress and empowerment, stress and job satisfaction were not significant(p<0.05). 3. Organizational commitment and stress had significant influence on turnover intention(p <0.05). Organizational commitment was the most significant factor and it negatively influences the turnover intention. Conclusions : In order to decrease the turnover intention among dental hygienists, plans that can increase the organizational commitment should be implemented by improving organization-related factors.
