  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of human constitution adapting to environment. Human constitution adapting to climate zone is basically classified into four types: The $Af^{\ominus}$ constitution adapting to warm-humid climate, the $Aw^{\ominus}$ constitution adapting to warm-arid climate, the $Dw^{\oplus}$ constitution adapting to cold-arid climate and the $Df^{\oplus}$ constitution adapting to cold-humid climate. The ${\ominus}constitution$ can be changed into a ${\oplus}constitution$ by adapting to cold climate or by heredity combination with the ${\oplus}constitution$. The ${\oplus}constitution$ can be changed into a ${\ominus}constitution$ by adapting to warm climate or by heredity combination with the ${\ominus}constitution$. The four constitution types consequently can be classified into eight types: The $Af^{\ominus}$ constitution, the $Af^{\oplus}$ constitution, the $Aw^{\ominus}$ constitution, the $Aw^{\oplus}$ constitution, the $Dw^{\oplus}$ constitution, the $Dw^{\ominus}$ constitution, the $Df^{\oplus}$ constitution and the $Df^{\ominus}$ constitution. This study investigated the characteristics of fingers of people with these constitutions and confirmed that the fingers of the ${\ominus}constitution$ man are longer, slender and cooler than the fingers of the ${\oplus}constitution$ man.

  • We introduce FI-${\oplus}$-supplemented modules as a proper generalization of ${\oplus}$-supplemented modules. We prove that; (1) every finite direct sum of FI-${\oplus}$-supplemented R-modules is an FI-${\oplus}$-supplemented R-module for any ring R ; (2) if every left R-module is FI-${\oplus}$-supplemented over a semilocal ring R, then R is left perfect; (3) if M is a finitely generated torsion-free uniform R-module over a commutative integrally closed domain such that every direct summand of M is FI-${\oplus}$-supplemented, then M is a direct sum of cyclic modules.

  • The aim of this paper is to study the Weyl type-theorems for the orthogonal direct sum $S{\oplus}T$, where S and T are bounded linear operators acting on a Banach space X. Among other results, we prove that if both T and S possesses property ($gb$) and if ${\Pi}(T){\subset}{\sigma}_a(S)$, ${\PI}(S){\subset}{\sigma}_a(T)$, then $S{\oplus}T$ possesses property ($gb$) if and only if ${\sigma}_{SBF^-_+}(S{\oplus}T)={\sigma}_{SBF^-_+}(S){\cup}{\sigma}_{SBF^-_+}(T)$. Moreover, we prove that if T and S both satisfies generalized Browder's theorem, then $S{\oplus}T$ satis es generalized Browder's theorem if and only if ${\sigma}_{BW}(S{\oplus}T)={\sigma}_{BW}(S){\cup}{\sigma}_{BW}(T)$.

  • We show the existence of at least four nontrivial critical points of the $C^{1,1}$ functional f on the Hilbert space $H=X_0{\oplus}X_1{\oplus}X_2{\oplus}X_3{\oplus}X_4$, $X_i$, i = 0, 1, 2, 3 are finite dimensional, with f(0) = 0 when two sublevel subsets, torus with three holes and sphere, of f link, the functional f satisfies sup-inf variatinal linking inequality on the linking subspaces, the functional f satisfies $(P.S.)_c$ condition, and $f{\mid}_{X_0{\oplus}X_4}$ has no critical point with level c. We use the deformation lemma, the relative category theory and the critical point theory for the proof of main result.

  • We define injective and projective representations of quivers with two vertices with n arrows. In the representation of quivers we denote n edges between two vertices as ${\Rightarrow}$ and n maps as $f_1{\sim}f_n$, and $E{\oplus}E{\oplus}{\cdots}{\oplus}E$ (n times) as ${\oplus}_nE$. We show that if E is an injective left R-module, then $${\oplus}_nE{\Longrightarrow[50]^{p_1{\sim}p_n}}E$$ is an injective representation of $Q={\bullet}{\Rightarrow}{\bullet}$ where $p_i(a_1,a_2,{\cdots},a_n)=a_i,\;i{\in}\{1,2,{\cdots},n\}$. Dually we show that if $M_1{\Longrightarrow[50]^{f_1{\sim}f_n}}M_2$ is an injective representation of a quiver $Q={\bullet}{\Rightarrow}{\bullet}$ then $M_1$ and $M_2$ are injective left R-modules. We also show that if P is a projective left R-module, then $$P\Longrightarrow[50]^{i_1{\sim}i_n}{\oplus}_nP$$ is a projective representation of $Q={\bullet}{\Rightarrow}{\bullet}$ where $i_k$ is the kth injection. And if $M_1\Longrightarrow[50]^{f_1{\sim}f_n}M_2$ is an projective representation of a quiver $Q={\bullet}{\Rightarrow}{\bullet}$ then $M_1$ and $M_2$ are projective left R-modules.

  • Let M and X be right R-modules. We introduce several modules relative to the class of B(M, X) and we investigate relation among these modules. In this note, we show if M is X-${\oplus}$-supplemented such that $M=M_1{\oplus}M_2$ implies $M_1$ and $M_2$ are relatively B-projective, then M is an X-H-supplemented module.

  • In this paper, we generalize the stability for an n-dimensional cubic functional equation in Banach space to set-valued dynamics. Let $n{\geq}2$ be an integer. We define the n-dimensional cubic set-valued functional equation given by $$f(2{{\sum}_{i=1}^{n-1}}x_i+x_n){\oplus}f(2{{\sum}_{i=1}^{n-1}}x_i-x_n){\oplus}4{{\sum}_{i=1}^{n-1}}f(x_i)\\=16f({{\sum}_{i=1}^{n-1}}x_i){\oplus}2{{\sum}_{i=1}^{n-1}}(f(x_i+x_n){\oplus}f(x_i-x_n)).$$ We first prove that the solution of the n-dimensional cubic set-valued functional equation is actually the cubic set-valued mapping in [6]. We prove the Hyers-Ulam stability for the set-valued functional equation.

  • In this paper, we solve the following four graph equations $L^k(G)=H{\oplus}J$; $M(G)=H{\oplus}J$; ${\bar{L^k(G)}}=H{\oplus}J$ and ${\bar{M(G)}}=H{\oplus}J$, where J is $nK_2$ for $n{\geq}1$. Here, the equality symbol = means the isomorphism between the corresponding graphs. In particular, we shall obtain all pairs of graphs (G, H), which satisfy the above mentioned equations, upto isomorphism.
