In this paper, we introduce an iterative method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem, the set of common fixed points of an asymptotically strictly pseudocontractive mapping in a Hilbert space. We show that the iterative sequence converges strongly to a common element of the two sets.

In this paper, we analyze discontinuous Galerkin methods with penalty terms, namly symmetric interior penalty Galerkin methods, to solve nonlinear parabolic equations. We construct finite element spaces on which we develop fully discrete approximations using extrapolated Crank-Nicolson method. We adopt an appropriate elliptic-type projection, which leads to optimal ${\ell}^{\infty}$ ($L^2$) error estimates of discontinuous Galerkin approximations in both spatial direction and temporal direction.

In this paper the concept of fuzzy nearly C-compactness is introduced in Generalized fuzzy topological spaces. Several characterizations and some interesting properties of these spaces in Generalized fuzzy topological spaces are discussed. The properties of fuzzy almost continuous and fuzzy almost open functions in Generalized fuzzy topological spaces are also studied.

We provide a local convergence analysis for Secant-like algorithm for solving nonsmooth variational inclusions in Banach spaces. An existence-convergence theorem and an improvement of the ratio of convergence of this algorithm are given under center-conditioned divided difference and Aubin's continuity concept. Our result compare favorably with related obtained in [16].

This paper investigates some results (Theorems 2.1-2.3, below) concerning certain classes of analytic and univalent functions, involving the familiar fractional derivative operators. We state interesting consequences arising from the main results by mentioning the cases connected with the starlikeness, convexity, close-to-convexity and quasi-convexity of geometric function theory. Relevant connections with known results are also emphasized briefly.

After the derivation was defined in [19] by Posner a lot of researchers studied the derivations in ring theory in different manners such as in [2], [4], [5], ..., etc. Furthermore, many researches followed the definition of the generalized derivation([3], [6], [7], ..., etc.). Finally, Maksa defined a symmetric bi-derivation and many researches have been done in ring theory by using this definition. In this work, defining a symmetric bi-$\alpha$-derivation, we study the mentioned researches above in the light of this new concept.

In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorems for compatible mappings by using asymptotically regular mappings under the contractive type of G. E. Hardy and T. D. Rogers, and also give some examples to illustrate our main theorems. Our results extend the results of M. D. Guay and K. L. Singh and others.

If any geodesic on $F^n$ is also a geodesic on $\={F}^n$ and the inverse is true, the change $\sigma:L{\rightarrow}\={L}$ of the metric is called projective. In this paper, we will find the condition that a recurrent Finsler space remains to be a recurrent one under the projective change.
