Development of Convergence Skin Care Education Program to Foster Creativity and Character Building of University Students - Focusing on life care - (대학생의 창의인성 함양을 위한 피부미용 융·복합 교육프로그램 개발 - 라이프케어를 중심으로 -)

  • This study aimed at developing a convergence education program about skin care and social welfare with the purpose of operating liberal arts courses to foster the creativity and character building of university students and the development findings are as follows. The name of the developed course is "beauty treatment welfare and community service" and details were developed for the course overview, goals of the course, textbooks, course management, assignments, and assessment. The lesson goals of this course are character building by fostering creative and outstanding individuals demanded by the society and equipped with the basic knowledge of majors like skin care and social welfare as well as the capability to share and consider through service learning related education for the increase in convergence critical thinking skills and the convergence of skin care and social welfare. The details of the course comprised of introduction about the course, understanding the concept of convergence, understanding the concepts of skin care and social welfare, convergent thinking education and practicum, and education about service learning performance sharing meeting. The service learning is targeted on the socially disadvantaged, such as children and elders, and students can engage in service twice a week with 3 hours for each service session. The assessment is evaluated with midterm (30%), final exam (30%), report (20%), and attendance (20%). This study stresses importance on the development of a convergence education program for skin care and social welfare, which are still undeveloped while convergence education is expanding in university, and with this research as the start, it is anticipated for various approaches to be actively implemented about convergence education in the field of beauty treatment.

  • In recent years, various activities have been carried out in terms of talent donation for community together. This study suggests curriculum model about talent donation program centered on beauty majors. The key elements revealed in previous literature studies were used as educational contents of this study. The program presented in this study can be used to expand talent donations by beauty talent. The curriculum of the program for community together consisted of talent donation goals, teaching and learning methods, and evaluation items. This training program is divided into understanding area of talent donation and technique area of skin beauty.

Effect of Supporters of Cosmetics Company's Beauty Product Evaluation Contents on Purchase Intentions (화장품회사 서포터즈의 뷰티제품평가 콘텐츠가 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study studied the influence of beauty influencers, who act as supporters of cosmetics companies, on the purchase intention of cosmetics by consumers using Instagram content. To this end, we focused on the influence of demographic characteristics of consumers exposed to product evaluation contents of beauty influencers acting as cosmetics company supporters on purchase intention. The research data questionnaire surveyed a total of 15 items in 237 parts. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, independent t test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis, and SPSS 23.0 was used for analysis. As a result of researching purchase intention according to product introduction through Instagram contents of a specific account HAJIN_21 Beauty Influencer, gender did not have a statistically significant positive effect, and final education was statistically influenced on purchase intention. It was found to have a significant positive (+) effect. As a result, it was found that final education was an important factor in purchase intention. Furthermore, it is expected that this study can be used as a basic data in the direction of promotion using cosmetics companies supporters.

Complex Effects of Alternative Beauty Therapy on Stress Relaxation (미용대체요법이 스트레스 완화에 미치는 복합적 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to help female office workers in relieving their stress in rapidly changing modern society and maintaining a healthy and beautiful life by analyzing the complex effects of alternative beauty therapy on stress relaxation targeting 50 female office workers in their 30s to 40s, usually showing a high stress index due to their work. Aroma therapy and dry relax massage were carried out for 15 minutes as a beauty therapy, and stress index of the subjects was confirmed through survey before performing the beauty therapy. The experiment was conducted once a week for four weeks, and the cortisol concentration in saliva was analyzed for the outcome measurement. As a result, average stress index was 3.97 which showed a high value, and the cortisol concentration of the subjects after the experiment decreased significantly (p<0.05), and especially subjects who were married and had caregiving responsibility showed more changes in their cortisol concentration. The above result shows that dry relax massage using aroma is highly effective for mind and body relaxation of women in their 30s to 40s who are significantly stressed. If such beauty measures are applied properly, it is judged to be helpful for managing the stress.

A Study on the Hair Style Design in North Korea (김정은 집권 이후 북한 여성들의 헤어스타일에 관한 연구)

  • This paper sought to help north Korean women understand their lives and seek to integrate the in-house between North and South Korea by organizing the overall reality of north Korea's fashionable hairstyles and beauty industry. The research method looks at the appearance management activities of North Koreans in north Korean media, media outlets, and testimonies of north Koreans who have been on the outstay since Kim Jong-un's ruling, among other things, and analyzed their hair activities. C. Studies have shown that some improvements have been made since the Kim Regime through the smuggling of foreign goods by yusists. In addition, it was confirmed that beauty education is being systematically edied out through a beauty training institute in North Korea, and that it has changed from a fixed salary system to an ability-based allowance. This study shows a limitation that north Korea has failed to study. It is believed to be a boon to future research on North Korean hair.

The Effects of Work Value of Beauty Industry Workers on Service Productivity Through Job Satisfaction (미용종사자의 업무가치감이 직무만족을 매개로 서비스 생산성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study empirically analyzed the effect of work value of beauty industry workers on service productivity through job satisfaction. First, according to the result of investigating factors that make effect on service productivity, it was identified that service productivity increases when work value and job satisfaction are higher. Also, it was identified that service productivity increases when awareness of satisfying values, intrinsic satisfaction, recognition of work value, recognition of self-value, and extrinsic satisfaction are higher. Fourthly, as a result of investigating the effects of work value of beauty industry workers on service improvement through job satisfaction, it was identified that the mediating effect of job satisfaction was also significant in the sobel test as Z value of |Z|=15.057 showed a greater value than 1.96. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that inner motivation can be increased for beauty industry workers to recognize that their work is meaningful and worthwhile and service productivity can be maximized by improving the satisfaction and intrinsic job satisfaction that come from work itself.

A study on the relationship between vagan beauty and the beauty industry (비건 뷰티와 뷰티산업의 연관성에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, as more attention has been paid to the issues of environmental pollution and animal tests, vegan beauty has become a new trend as an large axis of consumption. Therefore, this study aimed to speculate on the vegan beauty and investigate its corelation with beauty industry through a survey, giving a focus on perception, characteristics, the current status and supplementation of vegan beauty. The results of the survey were: Only 31.3% of the subjects were aware of vegan beauty; In respect to characteristics, the mean value of advantage was 3.08, which was higher than that of disadvantages, 3.04. As for the current status, the rate of purchase intention was high, 81.7% and the rate of outlook was very high, 87.3%. Although vegan beauty has not been popular yet, if price is adjusted, products are diversified and generalized, and performance is improved, it is suggested that it will present positive outlook to future development of beauty industry.

Effect of Factors Affecting Adolescents' Perfume Purchasing Behavior on Purchasing Satisfaction

  • Purpose: This study investigated the effects of perfume purchasing behavioral factors on purchase satisfaction with 328 adolescents. Conclusions: In conclusion, it was found that among the six factors affecting purchasing behavior of perfume, the variables that had a statistically significant effect on purchase satisfaction were internal pleasure-seeking (p.<001) and fashion-seeking (p.<001). This is thought to affect purchase satisfaction by reflecting attractive images, favorable feelings, and pleasure by using perfumes preferred by adolescents. In addition, it is thought that the psychological characteristics of adolescents who want to follow trends while pursuing trends when purchasing perfumes are reflected.

A Study on the Convergence Marketing of Pursuing Value and Beauty Service in Accordance with Men's Acceptance of Information about Beauty Care (남성들의 외모관리 정보수용도에 따른 추구가치와 뷰티서비스 융합마케팅 연구)

  • With much changes in men's appearance style to pursue, beauty care activities, and pursuing value, it has been required to have researches on it. This study analyzed men's acceptance of information about beauty care and also the characteristics of each pursuing value. An online survey was conducted targeting about 500 male office workers in Seoul. In the results of the study, the pursuit of the practical value of five beauty care activities was the highest while the aesthetic value was very differently shown in accordance with the types of beauty care activities, compared to two other values. Contrary to other styles, especially, the acceptance of the skin care style was influenced by the sociocultural value, practical value, and aesthetic value. Especially, the passivity of the aesthetic value and the emphasis on the practical and sociocultural values were shown. The hair care was influenced by the practical value while the plastic surgery was influenced by the aesthetic value. In the care style area, the acceptance of skin care was only influenced by the pursuit of complex values. Regarding the marketing of each care style, the large-scale marketing campaign would be effective for the hair care while it would be necessary to seek for more aesthetic campaigns for the plastic surgery business.

A study of convergence management types based on self-perception of scalp and hair among college students majoring in cosmetology (미용전공 대학생들의 두피·모발에 대한 자가인식에 기반한 융합적 관리형태 연구)

  • This study aimed to help the college students majoring in beauty to have interests and manage the functional areas of scalp and hair by accurately identifying the condition of scalp and hair and realizing the convergence management habit and subjective symptoms for the condition. The study conducted a survey on 160 beauty major college universities in their 20s living in the Jeonnam area by asking the subjects to directly write the answers. The study found that many subjects had combination type of scalps and hair problems of split ends and thin hair, and recognized that their hair was damaged. They answered that frequent dyeing and perm caused the damage and they were using the shampoo for damaged hair to prevent hair damage. Regarding the observable symptoms on scalp and hair, it was identified that self-perception was higher as the interest in scalp was high, which influenced age and sleeping time.
