  • This case study was carried out for the purpose of surveying the awareness of safety and safety education among students in a technical high school, in order to provide the basic data for the effective education of technical high school students' safety management consciousness. The study was carried out using a questionnaire survey for which the respondents were 455 students. The results of the questionnaire were subjected to statistical processing, such as frequency analysis using SPSS for Windows version 19.0. The reliability of the questionnaire in this study is Cronbach' = 0.871~0.882. According to the survey results, the students think that the contents of the school safety education would not be of interest to them and that safety education in school would help their school life, but not be useful for their daily life.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine whether the participation of lifelong learning activities of the elderly is a part of the self - The questionnaire consisted of 12 items of general characteristics, 5 items of lifelong education, 6 items of volunteer activity, 15 items of life satisfaction, and 10 items of self - integration. The subjects of this study were 300 elderly people aged 60 or older living in Seoul, Gyeonggi - do, and Incheon, and participated in lifelong educational institutions such as the elderly welfare center, elderly university, and ward. As a method of analysis, the structural equation model of AMOS 22.0 was applied. The results obtained by applying the structural equation analysis are as follows. First, general characteristics were tested and the reliability of the items was tested. The reliability of the items, predictability, accuracy, and validity were analyzed by principal component analysis. Second, the research hypothesis was verified by verifying the fit of measurement variables through participation factor of lifelong education, self - integration, life satisfaction, and voluntary service. Statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS WIN 22.0 and Amos 22.0 programs.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand various theories of cognitions of mathematics and to compare the difference between students in mathematics education and professors who teach them in their cognition of mathematics. For this purpose, a survey of 'cognitions of mathematics' was done to the students(future teachers) and professors who taught them in the capital area, and the results was statistically analyzed. It shows that professors have almost all of things in common with students in their cognitions of mathematics except some issues such as 'there are usually more than one way to solve mathematical tasks and problems,' or 'It is indispensible for mathematics to be definitional rigor,' which are statistically significant. Many theoretical and empirical grounds were supported for the differences in their responses. The study has, eventually, given valuable suggestions to lead people's attitudes and cognitions of mathematics to a deeper level.

  • This study intends to understand deeply the higher education evaluation accreditation system in Taiwan. Taiwan established newly the Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council in 2005, an independent organization with the exclusive responsibility to execute evaluation. Three kinds of evaluation have been accomplished, including University Program Evaluation which assesses whole university management, Academic Fields Evaluation and Performance Evaluation which compare the superiority and inferiority among universities. The Accreditation system is applied only to Academic Fields Evaluation. For evaluation, each university presents a self-evaluation report, undergoes an visiting evaluation, makes out an evaluation report and lastly is notified of the result. The evaluation is divided into three results : pass, waiting observation and non-pass. According to an announcement in June 2008, the rate of non-pass universities reached the 15.7%. The non-pass universities are supposed to receive the disadvantaged in the admission number limit and take the following evaluation in the following year. Debates still exists concerning the eliminatory nature of the system and the announcement of achievement rankings through evaluation results. Other problems include the improvement of quality of evaluation committee members and the irrational evaluation standards. These problems will be meaningful for the development of the korean higher evaluation system.

  • This study is to design a security game to proceed in the future based on the results of analyzing 105 research trends on gamification from 2018 to 2021 according to research period, research purpose, research subject, research topic, research method, game method, and emphasis factors. was trying to find an answer to Gamification showed a trend of increasing research related to 2021 due to the increase in the importance of non-face-to-face education in 2020, and there were not many studies targeting middle and high school students, colleges, and adults. Security-related research was a relatively incomplete and limited field, as only a small number of studies on raising awareness were conducted due to access restrictions. In the future, by referring to various research cases and statistics analyzed in this study, we will try to actually implement security education cases through gamification.

  • The aim of this paper was to test the effects of simulation-based learning on knowledge, confidence, critical thinking disposition, and clinical competence to advanced cardiovascular life support of nursing student. This study used one group, pre-post test design. The participants of this research were 35 senior nursing students who underwent training in the medical-surgical nursing education. Data were collected by utilizing the questionnaire in two separate occasions: before and after the simulation-based training. As a result of this paper, the improvements of the knowledge, confidence, critical thinking disposition, and clinical competence to advanced cardiovascular life support were statistically significant. In conclusion, the simulation-based education has a positive effect on nursing students in the area of knowledge, confidence, critical thinking disposition, and clinical competence to advanced cardiovascular life support.

  • This study aims to explore the moderated moderation effect of learning flow and professor-student interaction in the relationship between learning agility and job preparation behavior among engineering college students. Based on the data collected from 206 second-year students at P-college, the conditional effects of the research model (direct effect and moderated moderation effect) was analyzed using Process v3.5.3 for SPSS. As a result, first, the learning agility of engineering college students had a statistically significant and positive effect on job preparation behavior. Second, learning flow had a significantly negative and moderating effect in the relationship between learning agility and job preparation behavior. Third, the moderating effect of learning flow was moderated by the frequency of interaction between professor-student in the relationship between learning agility and job preparation behavior. And its effects were statistically significant and positive. Based on these results, academic and practical discussions and implications were presented.

  • Purpose: The Taean oil spill in 2007 taught us a great lesson and is a representative example of a social disaster. It was overcome through the dazzling dedication and service of volunteers. However, behind the volunteers, they were directly or indirectly exposed to the spilled oil, resulting in health problems such as headaches and safety accidents. Safety accidents were caused by unsafe behavior, and unsafe behavior was caused by lack of safety awareness or ignorance. We want to find an education and training program to systematically raise safety awareness for volunteers in connection with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Method: The occupational safety and health law, the laws related to coastal clean-up, and the unsafe behavior factors in the statistics of occupational accidents in the past year were mainly identified. Result: The contents of education and training hours to be provided for volunteers involved in coastal clean-up were presented in comparison with workers under the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Conclusion: Safety and health education for volunteers and volunteer managers is directly related to safety awareness and can prevent unsafe behavior.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify how much the education service quality related to physical security of security department students affects college life satisfaction and academic continuation decision. To this end, a survey was conducted from April 10 to 28, 2023 targeting 200 university students receiving physical security education at the university. The survey contents were composed by dividing the variables into "first, educational service quality, second, college life satisfaction and third, academic continuation decision," and based on this, 3 research hypotheses were selected. We calculated regression analysis to examine the study model. Analysis result, among the 3 research hypotheses, "Educational service quality ⇨ College life satisfaction, College life satisfaction ⇨ Academic continuation decision" was significantly calculated and adopted, but "Education service quality ⇨ Academic continuation decision" was found to be insignificant and rejected. According to the results of a survey conducted among students, it seems that students will have the academic continuation decision only when they are college life satisfaction.
