Study on the Scope and Sequence of Information Literacy Instruction in School Library (학교도서관 정보활용교육의 범위와 계열 설정에 관한 연구)

  • The study has developed the scope and sequence of information literacy instruction's curriculum for integration strategies of traditional reading education, library use education and information literacy. For this purpose, this study compares and analyze the scope and sequence of reading education, library use education and information literacy instruction's curriculum in Korea, American and Japan. Basing on the comparative result, it proposed the scope and sequence of information literacy instruction's curriculum in Korea. The scope and sequence which it proposes based on the skill and process of information literacy model, it includes contents of traditional reading education, library use education. Also, supposed scope take in all format of information media, the process and strategies of information use, library and information system. the supposed sequence divided into elementary school(1-3), elementary school(1-4), middle school(1-3), high school(1-3)

A Study on the Appropriateness of he Problem-Solving Models and the Information Literacy Education (문제극복 모형의 적합성과 정보화 교육에 관한 연구)

  • This study is an attempt to analyze the individual merit of the INSTRAT model, which forms a cognitive process paradigm, and that of the Big6 model, which involves a functional approach, as tools for enhancing human information activities and aptitude. The former was examined through logical interpretations, while the latter was deduced from interviews using the Micro-Moment Time-Line method, a key methodology used in the Sense-Making Approaches. Results indicate that the application of the INSTRAT model is suitable for developing information systems that can assist users in the stage of defining information needs and search strategies, and that the application of the Big6 model is appropriate in information literacy education or information aptitude training. Of particular significance is the fact that the study proves for the first time that human information problem-solving behavior indeed follows the process delineated in the Big6 model.

A Study on the Korean University Students' Usage of Foreign Language Queries in Scholarly Information Retrieval (학술정보검색을 위한 국내 대학생의 외국어 탐색문 활용에 관한 연구)

  • This study focused on understanding the Korean university students' (both undergraduates and graduates) use of foreign language for scholarly information retrieval especially in different search strategies employed based on users' characteristics. A new model was developed based on Ellis's behavioral model of information seeking strategies. The research applied both quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the data. The students used a variety of foreign language information seeking strategies at different stages of academic information retrieval based on his/her field of study or level of education. The liberal arts and social science students had more difficulty in selecting proper search terms in the foreign language than the science and technology students. This difficulty resulted in less preference for using foreign language queries by the liberal arts and social science students. The students relied more on the bibliographic and citation information in scholarly information retrieval using foreign language queries than the Korean queries. The research outcomes should provide some guidelines on how the Korean university libraries offer information literacy programs and other services based on the patrons' characteristics.

  • The primary purpose of this study is to identify the educational contents of the research paper writing program. In addition, this searches for the appropriate application method as information literacy instructional course. For clarifying and supporting the purpose, this study analyzes the expository texts with the seven kinds of published references book on research paper writing program. As the results of examination, the study reveals that they are made up with seven important contents. Evidently, this analysis makes up for the information literacy strategy to intensify the information literacy instructional course. Convincingly, we propose the educational contents which contain ideas of 'making research plan,' 'managing information,' and 'writing essay' in order to optimize for the current school library environment.

  • 분포형 수문모형은 컴퓨터 하드웨어의 급속한 발전과 GIS를 바탕으로 한 수문지리공간정보에의 접근성 및 활용성 증가에 따라 근래에 많은 발전을 이루게 되었다. 하지만 물리기반 분포형 수문모형은 입력자료 구축 및 모형구동에 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하며 수문자료가 불충분한 미계측 유역에서는 모형의 구축이 어렵다는 한계점을 지니고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 개념적 격자물수지 기법을 이용하여 집중형 수문모형의 자료구축의 간편성과 분포형 수문모형의 공간적 유출 해석 능력을 동시에 만족할 수 있는 그리고 격자기반 레이더강우자료를 활용할 수 있는 개념적-분포형 수문모형을 개발하였다. 본 수문모형은 GUI 환경으로 개발되었으며, GIS 전처리과정(pre-process) 및 유역의 지형자료 추출 기능을 탑재함으로 지형분석을 위해 GIS 상용 도구에 대한 의존성이 없는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 모형의 적용성을 검토하기 위하여 내린천 유역을 대상으로 유출해석을 실시하였으며 그 결과 적용성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

The Effect of the Instructional Models for ICT on the Practical Ability in the Application of Information with Relation to the Levels of Self-Regulated Learning (자기조절 학습전략 수준에 따른 정보통신기술 활용수업 모형이 정보활용 실천력에 미치는 효과)

  • Recently, ICT has emerged as an indispensable tool for teaching a variety of subjects in education systems. In this paper, we examine the effect of the instructional models for ICT on the practical ability in the application of information with relation to the levels of self-regulated learning strategies. Students were divided into 3 groups, according to the instructional model for ICT which were problem search learning, problem solution learning, and discussion learning. As an experimental tools, we did pretest using self-regulated learning strategies measurement questionnaire and did pretest and posttest using practical ability in the application of information measurement questionnaire. The results show that higher level of self-regulated teaming strategies group has high practical ability in the application of information than lower level group. Other interesting results are also provided.

  • The types of information literacy in school library is classified into usage instruction of school library, reading education, instructional development o4 courseware with school library and integrated instruction of collaboration with school librarian and teacher. A measure of scholastic achievement on information literacy varies in each school. The cause is rely on the absence of librarians who teach information literacy and lack of understanding on the role of school library in information literacy. Nevertheless, we know that the program based on subject teacher is successful in terms of the effectiveness of the program. It demonstrate that if information literacy will be considered as important course in the curriculum for school librarian, the effectiveness of information literacy can be enhanced dramatically. For the purpose some strategies are required. In this paper, propose three strategies, which are integration of information literacy into curriculum of schools, analysis of the curriculums and a practical method for training school librarian.

Application of Gradient-Enhanced Kriging to Aerodynamic Coefficients Modeling With Physical Gradient Information (물리적 구배 정보를 이용한 공력계수 모형화를 위한 GE 크리깅의 적용)

  • The six-DOF aerodynamic coefficients of a missile entail inherent physical gradient constraints originated from the geometric characteristics of a cylindrical fuselage. To effectively adopt the freely available gradient information in aerodynamic coefficients modeling, this research employed gradient-enhanced (GE) Gaussian process. To investigate the accuracy of aerodynamic coefficients predicted with gradients information, we compared two Gaussian-process-based models: ordinary and GE Gaussian process models with and without gradient information, respectively. As a result, we found that GE Gaussian process models were able to comply with imposed gradient information and more accurate than ordinary Gaussian process models. However, we also found that GE Gaussian process modeling cannot handle gradient information continuously and ends up with more samples due to additional gradient information.

  • 1997년 외환위기와 국내외 회계부정 사건들로 인하여 회계투명성 확보가 중요하게 부각되면서 산출된 재무정보에 대한 신뢰성만을 평가, 공시하던 기존의 재무보고 모형과 달리 재무정보 산출물뿐만 아니라 이 정보의 일련의 생성과정을 평가하고 결과를 공시하는 재무보고 내부통제시스템이 만들어지고 있다. 현재의 재무보고 내부통제시스템은 기존의 재무회계 정보시스템과 별도로 구성되어 재무정보 생성과정에서 필요로 하는 평가, 승인 및 인증 시통제에 대한 낮은 확신을 제공하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다양한 환경에 유연하게 적용할 수 있고 기존 시스템과의 연동을 쉽게 할 수 있는 J2EE 아키텍처를 활용하여 재무회계 정보시스템과 인터페이스를 통하여 주요 재무정보를 추출 EJB 컴포넌트로 구성하고 이 컴포넌트를 활용하여 수동통제보다는 자동통제를 할 수 있고 적발통제보다는 예측통제를 가능하게 하는 AC EJB 컴포넌트가 적용된 재무보고 내부통제시스템 개선 방안을 제시한다.

  • 최근 학교 현장에서는 전통적인 교수 학습 방법을 탈피한 정보통신기술을 활용한 교수 학습 방법은 거스를 수 없는 정보화 사회의 새로운 교수 학습 모형으로 보편화되어 가고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현실 여건을 개선하고 교육과정이 요구하는 목표 달성을 위하여 학생들의 인터넷 사용의 대부분을 차지하는 커뮤니티 활동을 미니홈페이지라는 공간을 통해 교사와 학생 사이에 학습과 대화의 장으로 활용하기 위해 ICT 활용 교육 커뮤니티를 구축하였다. 이를 활용하여 학생들이 학습에 대한 관심과 흥미를 유발하고 시간과 장소에 구애를 받지 않으며 학생 자신이 주도적으로 학습 과제를 해결하는 학습과정으로 교수 학습 방법의 개선을 통하여 학생의 자기주도적 학습 능력이 신장되도록 ICT 활용 교육을 활성화하여 ICT 활용 교육이 우리 학교 현장에 튼튼히 뿌리를 내리는 데에 기여하고자 HTML학습을 위한 홈페이지를 블로그툴을 이용하여 구현하였다.
