The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of early childhood teachers' perception of young children's right and teachers' right on their implementation of respect for young children's right. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 355 early childhood teachers working at early childhood education institutions in the Seoul metropolitan area. Collected data were analyzed with Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0. As a result, the higher the level of early childhood teachers' perception on young children's right and teachers' right, the higher the level of their implementation of respect for young children's right. In addition, early childhood teachers' perception of young children's right and teachers' right were found to be predictable variables on their implementation of respect for young children's right. Based on the results, we suggest a need to enhance early childhood teachers' perception not only on young children's right but also on teachers' right to enhance their implementation of respect for young children's right.

While most Korean speech databases are developed for adults' speech, not for children's speech, there are various children's speech databases based on other languages. Because there are wide differences between children's and adults' speech in acoustic and linguistic characteristics, the children's speech database needs to be developed. In this paper, to find the differences between them in Korean, we built speech recognizers using HMM and tested them according to gender, age, and the presence of VTLN(Vocal Tract Length Normalization). This paper shows the speech recognizer made by children's speech has a much higher recognition rate than that made by adults' speech and using VTLN helps to improve the recognition rate in Korean.

The purpose for this study is to research the perception of happiness among the kindergarten young children. The subjects were kindergarten young children of 6, 7 years old in Kwangju. The finding of this study were as follows : 1. kindergarten young children of 6, 7 years old considered that the most important elements of happiness to have a positive mind, to be loved. And kindergarten young children of 7 years old perceived spend time with family as happiness. 2. 'the most moment when you feel happy" perceived that the most important elements of happiness were to be loved, play with children and to spend time with children. 3. 'To be happy' perceived that the most important elements of happiness were the relationship of parents and friends. Especially, seven years old children perceived to be able to do self-development. Therefore, I suggested it is necessary to study a program of young children's happiness, a program of parent's participation for young children's happiness in kindergarten, and a program of young children' career education.

This paper proposes interactive game elements for children : contents, design, sound, gesture recognition, and speech recognition. Interactive games for early children must use the contents which reflect the educational needs and the design elements which are all bright, friendly, and simple to use. Also the games should consider the background music which is familiar with children and the narration which make easy to play the games. In gesture recognition and speech recognition, the interactive games must use gesture and voice data which hits to the age of the game user. Also, this paper introduces the development process for the interactive skipping game and applies the child-oriented contents, gestures, and voices to the game.

The purpose of this study is to create design education program for enlightenment of creativity in young child. We studied preschool education professionals for perspective of design education in young child. So the study contents of our paper are design education for enlightenment of creativity in young child. Preschool education professionals recognized that design education work unsystematic manner in present education program. They recognized the important factor for enlightenment of creativity in young chid. They need a relevant and contents for design education issues. Our studies show that they realized an absence of the perception of design education and design education professionals for young child. They could not distinguish between the conventional art activities and design activities. So they required a design teaching aids. We realized that they are respond to the design education in young child positively. Our study states that preschool education professionals need a contents of design education and development of a relevant programs for young child.

The purpose of this study targeted 93 full 5-year-old preschoolers was to examine young children's recognition of the relationships with their mothers, teachers, and peers and to analyze the effect of children's recognition on their self-concept. Children's recognition of the relationships with the people around and their self-concepts were measured by use of picture diagrams to help children's understanding and their replies. Data analysis showed that young children recognize their relationships with the people around positively, and that children's conflict recognition with their teachers influence negatively on their self-concept. This study is meaningful in that it directly researched preschooler's cognition of the relationships with the people around themselves from situation in the lack of preceding research that it comprehensively studied about relationships with the preschooler and others, and it executed one-to-one interview with preschooler using the picture tool for preschooler developed by the investigator in order to measure the preschooler's cognition.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the pre-service early childhood teachers' personality on their children's rights perception. The subjects of this study were 253 early childhood education majors in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The statistical analysis of this study was analyzed using the SPSS V.22.0 program. The result of the study is summarized as follows. First, the result of the current study reveals that personality and perception of children's rights are correlated. Also, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between personality and perception of children's rights. Second, it was found that the 'social relationship' sub-factor in personality affected the pre-service early childhood teachers' perception of children's rights. Therefore, it is necessary to promote personal development in order to enhance pre-service early childhood teachers' perception of children's rights.

본 논문에서는 유아를 위한 가정연계 다문화 교육활동을 계획하고 적용함으로써 유아와 어머니의 다문화 인식에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 분석 결과 첫째, 가정연계 다문화 교육활동이 유아의 다문화 인식 전체와 하위 요인인 문화 개방성, 문화 수용성, 문화 존중성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째 가정연계 다문화 교육활동은 어머니의 다문화 인식 전체와 하위 요소인 문화 수용성, 문화 존중성에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 문화 개방성에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 가정연계 다문화 교육활동에 참여한 유아들의 다양한 표현 결과물과 교사 관찰일지, 교사저널 등을 분석한 결과 유아들의 다문화 관련 인식에 긍정적인 변화가 있었으며, 문화 개방성, 문화수용성, 문화 존중성에도 효과가 있었다. 즉, 가정과 연계한 다문화 교육활동은 유아의 다문화 인식과 어머니의 다문화 인식 중 문화 수용성과 문화 존중성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다.

This Convergence study aimed to analyze the oral health education, oral health awareness and oral health knowledge of early childhood education' students. Questionnaire survey on the of five universities early childhood education' 314 students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk provinces. Average score of oral health awareness was 3.62, which was high female students, 3rd grade, athlete, high case on oral health condition perception and childhood oral health education experience. Oral health knowledge correct answer of 15 items was average 9.63, which was higher female students, 3rd grade, nonsmokers, have received childhood oral health education, responded to the need for childhood oral health education. Regression analysis showed that Y (oral health awareness) = 2.350 + 0.242 (exercise) +0.387 (oral health education) +0.134 (childhood oral health education experience) +0.067 (oral health knowledge). In order to promote infants oral health of department of Early Childhood Education, it would be necessary to develop the systematic programs to perform the childhood oral health education.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions and difficulties of early childhood teachers about the revised Nuri Curriculum, and to provide basic data for stable operation. 128 early childhood teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were surveyed, and frequency analysis and chi-square test were performed using the SPSS 27.0 program. As a result of the study, teachers recognized the difference in child evaluation in the Nuri Curriculum and the revised Nuri Curriculum, and recognized the difference in the evaluation method the most. Some of the items on perception showed a significant difference according to the educational experience of teachers. Teachers recognized 'autonomy' as the focus of early childhood evaluation, and at the same time recognized that it was the biggest factor that made child evaluation difficult. The interactive peer-to-peer workshop showed the highest demand for early childhood evaluation. The results of this study will be the basis for finding ways to support teachers in charge of early childhood evaluation in the revised Nuri Curriculum.
