The main purpose of this paper is to examine the efficacy and future potential of a newly-emerging concept of a metaverse in online education environment. In order to achieve this goal, this paper showcases various scenes that happened in the metaverse classes using the ifland app. Through an in-depth analysis of theoretical grounds and preliminary survey findings of 32 university students, this study suggests that as students in a metaverse space are engaged in the interactive learning process and environment with an avatar that projects oneself, it can be an effective educational platform coming from the benefits of gamification and edutainment. In addition, a metaverse space provides existential encounters and hands-on experiences, which in turn increases the level of 3D learning immersion. It may overcome the shortcomings of online live streaming platforms such as Zoom or Webex that provide 2D experiences. Based on the findings, this paper further suggests a blueprint for online education suitable for the transition to a digital society.

This study aims to investigate the class satisfaction of the students enrolled in between a primary and secondary teacher's college, and to identify any statistical differences among the class satisfaction factors. In order to answer these questions, a survey of 50 questionnaires were distributed to 54 primary teachers' college students and 50 secondary teacher's college ones, respectively. A survey consisted of 5 categories including class contents, instruction results, class environment, instructional supports and efficiency. To analyze data, the descriptive analysis and independent sample t-test were administerd using Jamovi statistical program. The results revealed that there was no significant difference between two groups in terms of the overall class satisfaction, even though the mean score from the secondary teachers' college students was higher than that of the primary teachers' college students. However, there was a significant difference in the class satisfaction's sub categories: class environment, instructional supports and efficiency.

Recently, the importance of the internet of things (IoT) education has been emphasized due to the progress of research on IoT technology. Therefore, universities require an efficient IoT course. In this paper, we propose an undergraduate IoT course using the Bluetooth function of smartphone and Arduino kit. The proposed embedded IoT class uses the Bluetooth capabilities of the smartphone to connect Arduino and activate various sensors to encourage students to become interested in the class. According to students' midterm and final exam scores, students programming skills have been improved since students' projects were in progress during the course. Further, according to students' survey, the proposed IoT class is very effective in understanding the embedded IoT and 75% of the students satisfied with the proposed course.

The purpose of this study is to explore the future direction of university liberal arts classes at a time when many educational institutions have returned to face-to-face instruction as social distancing related to COVID-19 has been eliminated. A survey was conducted with 187 college students who took a liberal arts class that included a combination of online and in-person classes. The results found that learners were generally satisfied with remote learning (87.8%). The reasons for this high level of satisfaction included sufficient comprehension of class content, systematic class progress, and the efficiency and convenience of learning in a remote environment. Satisfaction levels for in-person classes (66%) were relatively lower than those for remote classes, and this is reflected in the preference for class type. Among wholly in-person, wholly remote, and a combination of both, it was found that learners preferred remote classes the most (54.4%). When conducting in-person classes, instructors must devise a class plan that incorporates the advantages of online remote classes.

In this study, a survey was conducted and analyzed to find out the satisfaction of online classes among students enrolled in the radiology department of a university located in Busan city. As a result, in terms of satisfaction with online classes, male scores were higher, but there was no statistically significant difference. In the interdisciplinary system, the satisfaction score of the students enrolled in Bachelor's degree was high, and there was a statistically significant difference except for the satisfaction of learning participation (p<0.001, p<0.05). For class satisfaction by grade level, Senior had higher scores, and there were statistically significant differences except for learning participation satisfaction (p<0.001, p<0.01, p<0.05). In the satisfaction survey according to the number of lectures, the scores of the students who took 4-7 lectures were found to be high except for the satisfaction of learning participation, and there was a statistically significant difference (p<0.01, p<0.05). In the method of communication with the instructor, students who used e-mail showed high scores, and there was a statistically significant difference in lecture satisfaction (p<0.05). In the correlation analysis between sub-variables for online classes, statistically significant correlations were established in all areas. Most of the students preferred class methods such as recorded classes and classes using external content such as YouTube, and when asked about the merits of online classes, many students answered that the advantages of online classes were repetitive classes and no restrictions on time and place. When asked about the shortcomings of online classes, many students answered that it was a lack of concentration and lack of communication with the instructor. This study was conducted to provide basic data to improve the satisfaction of online classes that will increase in the future. Therefore, based on the results of this study, it is expected that more quality online classes will be produced so that students' satisfaction with online classes can be improved.

The purpose of this study was to reduce the drop out rates and enhance the quality of docent training education program in the Nature Heritage Center by providing educational services appropriate to the docents' needs based on the docents satisfaction survey. In this research, we conducted the survey to analyze the importance-satisfaction of natural heritage docent satisfaction in natural heritage docent training programs. The subjects of this survey were 30 docent in Natural Heritage Center. To develop a questionnaire, a factor analysis was conducted, as a result, 6 factors and 22 questions were presented. They are 'curriculum and instruction', 'advice for docent', 'educational environments', 'administrative services', 'support for docents', 'docent life'. The results of t-test, there was a significant difference between importance and satisfaction of the every 22 questions, the mean score of satisfaction(M=3.87, SD=.08) was lower than that of importance(M=4.10, SD=.20). According to ISA, the items located in "concentrate here" were deduced. They are 3 items from administrative services, device for docent, curriculum and instructions. To put in concretely, They were 'lecture content(subject)', 'teaching method', 'service attitude of personnel', 'interest in a docent' Based on these results and descriptive responses from the docents, the strategies for docent satisfaction in natural heritage docents training programs were suggested.

The aim of this study is to present a practical teaching plan for liberal arts English classes that target foreign students. Foreign learners who do not have Korean language proficiency at the university level may struggle to understand the contents of liberal arts classes conducted by Korean language professors. In this study, six topics were selected (K-culture, Online game, Harry Potter, Disney, Marvel, DC) and topic-centered participatory class activities using various media were developed. A questionnaire was conducted to analyze learners' attitudes toward and perceptions regarding topic-oriented classes. It showed that learners' satisfaction with topic-based classes was high (75%), and the reasons for this high level of satisfaction were the instructors' caring attitudes, the comfortable class atmosphere, and the fun learners had in class. Learners also reported high satisfaction with various participatory class activities (81.9%), citing the learning benefits, their increased interest and motivation, and the efficiency of participatory classes. As globalization continues to increase the number of foreign students in South Korea, the need to develop realistic class plans and various class activities that are suitable for them is becoming more and more urgent.

This study attempted to design a virtual space using ZEP, a metaverse platform, to enable mathematics classes in the metaverse space, to apply it to mathematics classes, and to find out changes in students' affective domain. As a result, students showed positive effects in terms of subject efficacy, subject interest, intrinsic motivation, class satisfaction and participation. In addition, we found the possibility of customized classes for each student level by performing different missions in classroom classes with limited time and space.

The purpose of this study is to explore improvable proposal of instruction through analyzing learners' needs and satisfaction for college of engineering. Based on the online survey date with undergraduate students in Seoul National University, recognition difference between students in college of engineering and all students in SNU was identified. Among several factors influenced on learners' satisfaction in class, it is shown that satisfaction to facilities is higher than any other factor related to instruction. Generally, satisfaction with teaching in class is lower while satisfaction to an extrinsic support to students is high. Therefore, instructors should be more concerned about teaching in class. Learners' satisfaction with instructors' feedback to assignments and tests is significantly higher in college of engineering. However, learners' satisfaction with the progress of classwork and assignment students should perform regularly is lower than one in other colleges.

This study aims to present effective teaching and learning methods for improving class satisfaction and improving the quality of university education by empirically analyzing changes in class satisfaction according to teaching methods such as face-to-face(FTF) classes, non-face-to-face(NFTF) classes, and blended classes of theories and practical subjects before and after COVID-19, targeting beauty major students who have a relatively higher proportion of practical classes than theoretical classes. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 statistical package was used, and in the analysis of the difference in satisfaction with teaching methods for theoretical subjects before and after COVID-19, 10 items out of 20 items showed statistically significant differences, and 8 items out of 20 items in the practical subjects showed statistically significant differences. It is expected that the quality of university education will be improved by applying efficient and practical teaching methods considering the items affecting the class satisfaction according to the teaching and learning methods of these theories and practical subjects.
