The factors affecting the turnover intention of nurses were hospital work environment (${\beta}=.505$, p<.001), supervisor trust (${\beta}=-.229$, p=.003), and job position (${\beta}=-.213$, p=.011). Therefore, in order to reduce the turnover intention of nurses, it is necessary to improve the hospital work environment and to establish a strategic program to build and improve supervisor trust.

  • This research was conducted to examine successful aging and influencing factors in middle aged women. Data were collected from 189 middle-aged women in two cities. Data were collected from July to August 2017 using structured questionnaires. Data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlations, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that the perception of successful aging mean was 128.49 points (range: 33-165). Depression (r=-.20, p=.005) had a significant negative association with perception of successful aging. Family resilience (r=.49, p<.001) and life satisfaction (r=.54, p<.001) were positively correlated with perception of successful aging. The significant predictors of successful aging were age (${\ss}=-.15$, p=.013), family resilience (${\ss}=.24$, p=.002), and life satisfaction (${\ss}=.37$, p<.001), explaining 33.9% of the variance. Based on the study results, we suggest that it is necessary to develop and apply educational strategy to improve perception of successful aging.

The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Independent t-tests, One-way ANOVA, and Stepwise multiple regression analysis with the SPSS 14.0 program. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that the predictors of satisfaction among the medical staff were satisfaction with age and health insurance, which accounted for 28% of all variance. Predictors of satisfaction with the medical environment were age and jobs, which accounted for 17% of all variance. Predictors of satisfaction with medical expenses were multicultural form, educational level, and jobs, which accounted for 33% of all variance. These results suggest that we need to develop and implement strategies and programs that can enhance satisfaction with medical use among multicultural members.

Data were analyzed with the SPSS 21.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression. In nursing students premenstrual syndrome was significantly positive correlated with stress(r=-.396, p<.001) and menstrual attitude(r=-.176, p=.027). The significant factors that influence premenstrual syndrome were stress(${\beta}=.36$, p<.001) and dysmenorrhea(${\beta}=.22$, p=.003), which explained 19.4%. The results indicate a need to manage the premenstrual syndrome of nursing students. The finding also suggest that consideration be given to duration of menstruation, menstrual quantity and peri-menstrual dysphoria in developing strategies to reduce stress and dysmenorrhea and developing programs to manage the premenstrual syndrome among nursing students.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a communication simulation and evaluate its applicability of curriculum of community health nursing for nursing students. This study used one- group pretest-posttest design and participants were 35 junior nursing students. Data was collected through self-reported questionnaires of communicative competence and satisfaction and analyzed using paired-t test and descriptive statistics. There was no change of overall mean score of communicative competence, though the simulation program related to communication of community health nurses was developed and the score of satisfaction after the simulation was 4.4 out of 5. In the categories of communicative competence, the score of role competence was increased after simulation(p<.001) but interpretive competence was decreased(p=.029). And others were not significant changes. As these results, the developed simulation program was applicable to community health nursing course, but further consideration is needed about strategies of simulation to increase communicative competence.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between anger expression, social supports, and adjustment to college life among nursing students. A convenience sample of 266 students in two colleges participated in the study. Data were analyzed using t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple stepwise regression. The mean score for adjustment to college life was above average. The mean score for adjustment to college life differed significantly according to students' reasons for applying to college and perceived health status. Adjustment to college life significantly correlated with anger expression and social supports. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that anger expression (Anger-Out, Anger-In, and Anger-Control), social supports, and perceived health status explained 27.1% of the variance in adjustment to college life. The study findings suggest that interventions intended to promote nursing students' adjustment to college life should focus on improving anger management, social supports, and perceived health status.
