Estimation of Variability for Complex Modulus of Rubber Considering Temperature and Material Uncertainties (온도와 물성의 불확실성을 고려한 고무의 복소계수 변동성 평가)

  • 본 논문에서는 통계적인 방법을 이용하여 점탄성 제진재인 합성고무의 물성에 대한 변동성을 평가하는 방법을 제안하고 측정데이터를 이용하여 합성고무에 대한 평가를 수행하였다. 고무 물성의 불확실성 인자로는 외기 온도의 변화와 실험 데이터의 오차 및 점탄성 제진모델의 오차를 고려하였다. 고무는 분수차 미분 모델로 표현되었고 온도의 영향은 비선형 이동계수모델을 도입하여 복소계수로 나타내어 동강성과 감쇠를 표현하였다. 이러한 물성모델을 바탕으로 고무에 대한 물성 실험데이터와 물성계수의 확률밀도함수 사이에 정의된 우도함수를 최대화하는 통계적 보정방법을 이용하여 물성모델의 물질계수들에 대한 변동성을 추정하였다.

  • Order Review/Release(ORR) 시스템은 생산계획 시스템과 작업현장간의 연결고리로서, 작업현장으로의 작업투입을 조절하여 작업현장에서의 체류시간과 공정중재고, 리드타임의 변동을 줄여주는 역할을 한다. 그러나, 지금까지의 ORR에 관한 연구들은 ORR의 유효성에 관하여 명확한 결론을 내지 못하고 있다. 일부는 ORR이 작업의 전체 리드타임을 증가시키는 악영향이 있음을 주장하고, 일부는 ORR을 도입함으로써 작업현장에서의 리드타임과 공정중재고가 줄어들고, 안정화될 수 있다고 주장한다. 본 연구는 어떠한 환경에서 Order Release 정책을 도입하는 것이 시스템의 성능향상에 기여할 수 있는 지 확인하는 것을 목적으로 하고, 가상의 Job Shop을 대상으로 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 작업장가동률 수준과 생산계획 단계에서의 계획오더 이송간격을 환경분수로 설정하고, 작업현장의 부하를 고려하여 작업투입을 통제하는 다섯 가지 Order Release 정책과 세 가지 우선순위 규칙을 적용하여 실험하였으며, 리드타임, 납기, 공정중재고 등과 관련된 8가지 척도에 대해 각 정책을 평가하였다. 그리고, 계획시스템의 부하평준화 기능이 존재할 때, Order Release 정책의 도입으로 인한 효과가 더 크다는 기존의 연구결과를 검증하기 위해, 부하평준화를 적용하였을 때 Order Release를 통제하지 않는 정책과 통제하는 정책간의 성능향상 차이가 있는지를 확인하는 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과, ORR 보다는 우선순위규칙이 시스템의 성능을 결정하는 주요 통제정책으로 밝혀졌다. 그러나, 생산계획시스템에서 1주 간격으로 계획오더를 이송할 때는 Order Release 방법을 적용하여 작업현장에서의 평균 리드타임과 리드타임의 변동, 공정중재고가 줄어드는 결과를 보였고, 가동률 수준이 높을수록 ORR 방법간의 차이가 크게 나타났다. 그리고 부하평준화 기능은 Order Release 정책의 유효성에 별 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, Order Release 방법은 우선순위규칙간의 성능차이를 줄이거나, 대체할 수 통제 기법이라기보다는 우선순위규칙을 보완하여 공정중재고와 작업현장에서의 리드타임, 리드타임의 편차를 줄여주는 역할을 한다고 볼 수 있다. 그리고, 계획시스템이 존재하여 계획오더가 일정기간간격으로 이송되는 환경에서 특히 유용하다는 결론을 얻었다.

A Fractional-N PLL with Phase Difference-to-Voltage Converter (위상차 전압 변환기를 이용한 Fractional-N 위상고정루프)

  • In this paper, a Phase Difference-to-Voltage Converter (PDVC) has been introduced into a conventional fractional-N PLL to suppress fractional spurs. The PDVC controls charge pump current depending on the phase difference of two input signals to phase frequency detector. The charge pump current decreases as the phase difference of two input signals increase. It results in the reduction of fractional spurs in the proposed fractional-N PLL. The proposed fractional-N PLL with PDVC has been designed based on a 1.8V $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process and proved by HSPICE simulation.

Comparison of Recurring Decimal Contents in Korean and Japanese Mathematics Textbooks (우리나라와 일본 수학 교과서의 순환소수 내용 비교)

  • In this paper, to provide an idea for the 2022 revised mathematics curriculum by restructuring the content of the 2015 mathematics curriculum, the content elements of recurring decimals of textbooks, which showed differences in the curriculum of Korea and Japan, were analyzed. As a result of this study, in Korea, before the introduction of the concept of irrational numbers, repeating decimals were defined in the second year of middle school, and the relationship between repeating decimals and rational numbers was dealt with. In Japan, after studying irrational numbers in the third year of middle school, the terminology of repeating decimals is briefly dealt with. Then, when learning the concept of limit in the high school <Mathematics III> subject, the relationship between rational numbers and repeating decimals is dealt with. Based on the results of the study, in relation to the optimization of the amount of learning in the 2022 curriculum revision, implications for the introduction period of the circular decimal number, alternatives to the level of its content, and the teaching and learning methods were proposed.

A Study on Changes of the Textbooks due to the shift of Pythagorean Theorem (피타고라스 정리의 이동으로 인한 제곱근과 실수 단원의 변화에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand how the shift of the Pythagorean theorem influenced the representation of irrational numbers in the 3rd grade textbook of 2015 revised mathematics curriculum by textbook analysis. Specifically, the changes in the representation of irrational numbers were examined in two aspects based on the nature of irrational numbers and the teaching and learning methods of the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. First, we analyzed the learning opportunities related to the existence of irrational numbers that were potentially provided by treating irrational numbers as geometric representations in textbooks, and confirmed that Pythagorean theorem was used. Next, we analyzed opportunities to recognize the necessity of irrational numbers provided by numerical representations of irrational numbers. This study has significance in that it confirmed the possibility and limitation of learning opportunities related to the existence and necessity of irrational numbers that were potentially provided by changes in irrational number representations in the 2015 revised textbooks.

Analyses of User Behavior and Preference Factors in the Outdoor Spaces of Psychiatric Hospitals (정신병원 옥외공간의 이용행태 및 선호요인 분석)

  • This study was conducted in order to analyze user behavior and preference factors in the outdoor spaces of mental hospitals. Among hospitals with 250 or more beds, 5 hospitals were selected in consideration of size of garden and diversity of garden elements. The subject of the study was restricted to mild cases of schizophrenia while 30~50 patients were selected on the recommendation of their doctor from 5 hospitals, respectively. The physical environment was analyzed, focusing on space components, after visiting the sites of study. A face to face interview method was selected in consideration of patients' cognitive abilities, a total of 230 questionnaires were used for the analysis. The results of the study can be summarized as follows. Rest facilities occupy the largest numbers in the components of garden, and those are followed by landscape facilities, walking/exercise facilities, and experience facilities. Outdoor walking/exercise programs are classified into group walks and free walks with most patients taking group walks. Most of the patients visit these outdoor spaces every day but some of them rarely use the outdoor areas. In order to increase the efficiency of using these outdoor spaces, the percentage of space for ensuring a sense of control should properly harmonize with the percentage of space to facilitate patients in having social contact. With regard to the reasons for preferring the most widely-used outdoor spaces, landscape/environment property was the most important, followed by functionality and then accessibility. Major activities in the preferred space are mainly composed of walking/exercise and rest. The preferred facilities are waterscape facilities such as ponds, waterfalls and fountains, rest facilities such as pergolas and shade trees, and lawn. It was understood that naturalness should be considered to be the most important factor in constructing a new healing garden, followed by aesthetics and amenities. Single facilities rated by preference for introduction were flower beds, trails, and lawn. According to type, waterscape facilities such as fountains, ponds, waterfalls and waterwheels were most preferred. Space for natural distraction and programs for the cultivation of flower beds were also preferred. The ideal image of a healing garden should be bright, familiar, and orderly as a whole, having plenty of introduced facilities. Open spaces were preferred to enclosed spaces. Finally, the image of a garden that helps patients feel calm was thought to be that of the most ideal garden.

Comparison of the Curricula and the Textbooks Concerning the Proportion and Ratio Area between Korea and Singapore (비와 비율 영역에 대한 우리나라와 싱가포르 교육과정 및 교과서 비교 -TIMSS 평가목표와 공개문항을 중심으로)

  • In the TIMSS assessment goal and open TIMSS 2007, Singapore recorded a lower overall achievement level compared with Korea; however, the excellent results shown by Singapore furnished an opportunity for various countries to research into the education in Singapore. This paper conducted a comparative analysis of the "Proportion, Proportional Expression, and Percentile" area out of the three topics involving "Fractions and Decimals", "Proportion, Proportional expression, and Percentile", and "Measurement", in all of which Singapore exhibited a higher percentage of correct answers than Korea. The paper was able to discover the following differences through a comparative analysis of how Korean and Singaporean textbooks deal with the open questions of TIMSS 2007 after looking into them according to four assessment goals. First, the Singaporean textbook introduced the concept of proportion one year ahead of the Korean textbook. Second, the Singaporean textbook repeatedly coped with the topic of "Proportion, Proportional Expression, and Percentile" in depth and by academic year, and its volume was larger than that of the Korean textbook. Third, there was a difference in the introduction and definition of the concept of proportion. Fourth, the way of introducing a proportional expression was also different, and the Singaporean textbook proposed many more questions that utilize this expression in ordinary life. Based on these differences, the paper suggested implications that could be applied to the Korean curriculum and textbook.

헬리콘 플라즈마의 연구 현황

  • Aigrain에 의해 Helicon이라는 이름이 명명된 이후, helicon은 저온의 금속과 같은 높은 전도도(conductivity)를 갖는 매질이나 강한 자기장이 걸려있는 plasma를 전파해 나가는 저주파 전자기장을 지칭해왔다. 이온화된 개스에서 이러한 전자기장은 전자 공명 주파수(electron cyclotron frequency)와 이온 공명 주파수(ion cyclotron frequency) 사이의 주파수로 전파하며 전리층 (ionosphere)을 통과하며 발생하는 가청 주파수 영역대의 음조가 강하하는 현상에 의해 low-frequency whistler라고도 불린다. Helicon wave plasma는 Boswell에 의해 처음 발생된 후, 높은 이온화율(~100%)로 인해 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 1985년에 Chen은 helicon plasma의 높은 이온화율을 설명하기 위해 Landaudamping을 제시하였다. 이러한 설명은 1997년에 Shamrai에 의해 TG mode가 도입되기 전까지 직접적인 실험결과 없이 helicon plasma 발생의 mechanism으로 받아들여졌다. shamrai의 이론에 의하면 정전기파(electrostatic wave)는 plasma의 표면(surface)에서 강하게 감쇄되어 energy를 전달하게 된다. Cho는 radial density 분포가 외각보다 중심이 높을 경우 TG wave의 power 전달이 중심에서 일어날 수 있음을 계산하였다. Helicon plasma의 특성은 높은 이온화율에 의한 높은 밀도($\geq$1012cm3), 1-2 kW의 rf power에서 상대적으로 낮은 전자 온도( 4eV), $\omega$ci $\omega$LH<$\omega$ $\omega$ce $\omega$pe 영역대의 주파수, 자기장 50-1200 Gauss, 압력 1-10 mTorr로 특정지을 수 있다. 이러한 외부분수들의 조건에 k라 helicon plasma는 여러 종류의 mode로 존재한다. Degeling은 이러한 mode의 변화를 capacitive mode, inductive mode, 그리고 helicon mode(wave mode)의 세가지 부분으로 구분하였다. Helicon plasma가 갖는 높은 이온화율은 여러 가지 응용으로의 가능성을 가지고 있다. 그 예로 plasma processing, plasma wave에 의한 입자 가속, 그리고 가스 레이저 활성 매질 발생 등이 있다. 특히 plasma processing의 경우 helicon plasma는 높은 밀도, 비교적 낮은 자기장, remote operation 등이 가능하다는 점에서 현재 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 상업용으로도 PMT와 Lucas Signatone Corp.에 서 helicon source가 제작되었다. 또한 높은 해리율을 이용하여 저유전 물질인 SiOF의 증착에서 적용되고 있다. 이 외에도 다수의 연구결과들이 발표되었다.

Debates on the New National Elementary Mathematics Curriculum Content (초등학교 수학과 교육과정의 내용 선정과 조직에서의 쟁점 - 2006년 개정 교육과정을 중심으로 -)

  • This study aimed to analyze the debate on the Elementary School Mathematics Contents in the new National Elementary Mathematics Curriculum developed in 2006. With this, the feature of the new National Mathematics Curriculum compared with the past 7th National Elementary Mathematics Curriculum was investigated. And the drafts on developing the new National Elementary Mathematics Curriculum were investigated as well. Three main controversies were identified. The first controversy was related to the item which had been dealt in middle school curriculum and moved to elementary school in the new National Mathematics Curriculum (e.g. equations, direct proportion and inverse proportion). The second one was related to the order of teaching fraction. The third one was related to the fact that problem solving became one of the five domains in Elementary School Mathematics Curriculum. Those controversies came from a basic belief on the ranges and depths of elementary school mathematics, didactical point of view, or thoughts on what should the content in the National Mathematics Curriculum be. The issues and suggestions that were discussed in this paper might serve to improve the National Mathematics Curriculum.

Analysis on the Dynamic Characteristics of a Rubber Mount Considering Temperature and Material Uncertainties (온도와 물성의 불확실성을 고려한 고무 마운트의 동특성 해석)

  • In this paper, a statistical calibration method is proposed in order to identify the variability of complex modulus for a rubber material due to operational temperature and experimental/model errors. To describe temperature- and frequency-dependent material properties, a fractional derivative model and a shift factor relationship are used. A likelihood function is defined as a product of the probability density functions where experimental values lie on the model. The variation of the fractional derivative model parameters is obtained by maximizing the likelihood function. Using the proposed method, the variability of a synthetic rubber material is estimated and applied to a rubber mount problem. The dynamic characteristics of the rubber mount are calculated using a finite element model of which material properties are sampled from Monte Carlo simulation. The calculated dynamic stiffnesses show very large variation.
