  • 본 논문에서는 XML 문서의 효율적인 관리와 구조검색을 위한 구조적 색인 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 방법은 특정 엘리먼트의 부모, 자식, 형제애 대한 다양한 구조검색을 효율적으로 지원하지 못하므로, XML 문서의 구조정보를 LETID(Labeled Element Type ID)로 표현하며 엘리먼트를 식별하고, 부모와 자식 엘리먼트간의 계층 정보와 동일한 부모 엘리먼트를 갖는 자식 엘리먼트들의 순서정보를 나타낸다. LETID는 고정된 크기로 하며, 엘리먼트에 고유 ID를 부여하는 방식을 통해서 DTD의 논리적 구조를 분석할 때 부모 형제 노드를 직접적으로 찾을 수 있고 ID 값에 깊이정보가 포함되어 있기 때문에 고유번호만 보고 깊이를 알 수가 있다. 이 구조정보를 이용하여 빠른 검색을 위한 내용 색인 구조 색인 애트리뷰트 색인을 설계하고 설계된 색인을 통하여 질의를 처리하여 다양한 구조적 질의를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있다.

The Impact of Listening Competence on the Teacher-Parent Communication Difficulties and Teacher-Child Interaction (영유아교사의 듣기능력이 교사-부모 의사소통의 어려움 및 교사-유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the listening competence of early childhood teachers on their teacher-parent communication difficulties and teacher-child interaction in an attempt to provide some information on the development of the listening competence of early childhood teachers. Three hundred and twenty two early childhood teachers participated in the study and descriptive, correlation, multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results are as follows: First, listening competence had a statistically significant negative correlation with teacher-parent communication difficulties. Second, among the sub-factors of listening competence, comprehending and interpreting, and responding exerted a statistically significant negative influence on teacher-parent communication difficulties. Third, listening competence had a statistically significant positive correlation with teacher-child interaction. Fourth, among the sub-factors of listening competence, responding, comprehending and interpreting, analyzing and evaluating exerted a statistically significant positive influence on teacher-child interaction.

  • This paper is about a case study of two brother talents who have a similar genetic factor The researcher who worked as a teacher of the Institute of Talent Education where the two brothers attended for 3 years analyzed and compared the influential variables through the interview of both the students and their parents. Parents have invested to the elder brother showing geniuses so they disciplined him suppressively out of too much expectation. However, they allowed his brother, who showed talents later, more automaticity, supporting him when he himself wanted to study. As a result, the younger brother showed a more creative thinking ability, and a better school performance This paper is significant in that parents's positive disciplining attitude maximize children's genius.

Experiences of Parents as Suicide Survivors (자살로 자녀를 잃은 부모의 경험 -참척(慘慽) 고통과 화해-)

  • This study aimed to express the experiences of the parents who lost their children by suicides in their own words from their own perspectives by van Manen(2000)'s hermeneutic phenomenological approach. The analysis of the words expressed by the research participants led to the following five fundamental themes. These are 'broken heart, sinner's grief, land of exile and time stood still, pains to be comforted, and days ahead with half-stitched wounds'. Several distinctions are found due to cultural differences from Korean parents. First, whereas the Western parents see the cause of their child's suicide as his/her independent issue, the Korean parents blame themselves entirely. This may have stemmed from the overly inter-dependency between the parents and the child. Second, whereas the Western perspective views the suicide as a type of illness from the individual's depression. The Korean perspective views the suicide as a shame that disgraces the parents or the family. This negative social perspective intensifies the self-blame and social isolation. Third, the Westerners recognize the prevention and responsibility of suicide resting with the society and government, but the Korean society recognize suicide as personal or family matter. Based on the finding above, I proposed a number of practical measures to aid the surviving parents who belong to a group with extremely high suicidal rates.

The Study of Parents'Satisfaction towards School Education and Demographic Variables Associated with Decision-Making on Post High School Academic Completion for Their Child with Disability (장애학생 부모의 자녀 진학결정과 관련된 자녀학교교육 만족도와 배경변인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the relationships of parents' satisfaction towards their children's school education and the demographic variables associated with decision-making on post high school academic completion of parents of the students with disabilities. The Korean Education Longitudinal Study data, which contained the responses of 162 parents of high school students with mild disabilities who enrolled in regular high schools, was used for the study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, ordinal logistic regression analysis, and chi-square test were used. As a result, provision of college entrance related information/consultation, improvement of academic performance level, collaboration/ communication between the teachers and parents, and overall school education were significantly related to parents' decision-making on their children's post high school academic completion. Also, mothers' educational level showed significant difference in parents' decision-making on their children's post high school academic completion.

Children's Parent-related Stress, Social Support and School Adjustment according to Self-esteem of Children with Handicap & Nonhandicap Parents (장애부모 아동과 일반아동의 자아존중감에 따른 부모관련 스트레스, 사회적 지원 및 학교적응)

  • This study investigates the differences in parent-related stress, social support, and school adjustment according to self-esteem of children with disabled and non-disabled parents. The data were collected from 176 students between 4th and 6th grade in Chungbuk area. For a data analysis, mean, frequency, percent, three-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation were used. The results show that children's perceived parent-related stress, social support, and school adjustment are varied according to their self-esteem. Those with higher self-esteem were found to have tusker perception level in social support and school adjustment. On the contrary, they were found to have lower level in parent-related stress. The findings indicate further that girls have a closer relationship with their teachers than boys and that children with disabled parents have a closer relationship with their teachers than those with non-disabled parents. However, as opposed to prediction, parental disability itself caused no difference in the level of parent-related stress.

The Effect of a Parent Education Program for Working Mothers of Dual-income Families with Young Children: Focusing on the Parents and Respected Children Parent Education Program (유아기 자녀를 둔 가정의 취업모를 대상으로 한 부모교육 프로그램의 효과: 부모존경-자녀존중 부모교육 프로그램을 중심으로)

  • Objective: This study employed a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design to evaluate the effectiveness of the Respected Parents & Respected Children(RPRC) parent education program developed for working mothers of dual-income families with young children. Methods: A total of 32 working mothers were randomly assigned to two groups, an intervention group (n = 16) and a control group (n = 16). Mothers in the intervention group participated in the parent education program. After the termination of the program, differences between the pretest and posttest in terms of mothers'parenting behaviors, parenting efficacy and parental role satisfaction were compared in both groups. Results: Mothers in the intervention group were significantly improved in their parenting behaviors and parenting efficacy, whereas mothers in the control group did not show any significant differences between pretest and posttest scores. However, there was no significant difference in parental role satisfaction between the intervention group and the control group. Conclusion/Implications: These findings suggest that RPRC parent education program is effective in bringing about positive changes in working mothers'parenting confidence, which can be crucial for the future developmental outcomes of their children.

저소득층 편부모의 자아통제가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향

  • 본 연구의 목적은 저소득층 편부모의 자아통제가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 요인들을 살펴봄으로써 이들 대상의 심리적 안녕감을 향상시킬 수 있는 정색적 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 본 연구는 편의표본추출방법에 따라 저소득층이 밀집된 48개 지역에 거주하는 635명의 편부모를 대상으로 구조화된 자기 기입식 설문지를 이용만 우편설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 종속 변수인 심리적 안녕감은 우울증, 자존감, 삶의 만족도 등이며, 독립변수로 인구사회적 배경 요인(모델 1), 사회적 지원 요인(모델 2), 자아통제 요인(모델 3) 등이 사용되었다. 본 연구의 주요 초점인 자아통제 요인은 내외통제성, 적극적 대처, 소극적 대처 등으로 구성되었다. 자료분석은 위계적 다중회귀분석(Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis)이 활용되었다. 본 연구에서 나타난 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 우울증 모델에서는 자아통제 요인이 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 판명되었다. 내적 통제감이 높고 소극적 대처력이 낮고 적극적 대처력이 높을수록 우울증이 낮게 나타났다. 다른 유의한 변인은 건강상태로 건강할수록 우울증이 낮았다. 2) 자존감 모델에서는 자아통제 요인 중 내외통제청과 적극적 대처력이 유의한 변인으로 판명되어, 내적 통제감이 놓고 적극적 대처를 많이 하는 편부모일수록 자존감이 높았다. 또한 고연령이고, 건강상태가 좋고, 종교를 갖고 있으며 자녀와의 관계가 가까울수록 자존감이 높았다. 3) 삶의 만족도 모델에서는 자아통제, 소극적 대처, 적극적 대처가 유의한 변인으로 분석되어, 내적 통제감이 높고, 소극적 대처는 낮으며 적극적 대처력이 높은 편부모가 삶의 민족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 수입, 건강, 종교, 자녀와의 관계는 두 모델에서는 유의하였으나, 자아통제 요인을 첨가하자 의미성이 없어졌다. 예상외로 부모, 형제, 친구, 공공기관, 종교기관으로부터 받는 사회적 지지는 거의 모든 모델에서 유의한 영향을 주지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 저소득층에게 제공되어지는 사회적 지지가 미미한 편으로 변이가 없기 때문으로 해결될 수 있다. 따라서, 저소득층 편부모에게 사회적 지지는 물론 자아통제를 제고하는 것이 그들의 심리적 안녕감을 높게 하는 주요 방안이라 팔 수 있다. 앞으로 저소득층 편부모의 자아통제를 제고할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램의 개발 및 이의 적극적 실행방안이 모색되어야 할 것이다.

A Study on Experiences of Caring for Children with Autistic Disorder - Focused on Experiences of Parents of the Adult Children - (자폐성 장애인을 자녀로 둔 부모의 돌봄 경험에 관한 연구 - 성인기 자녀를 둔 부모의 경험을 중심으로 -)

  • This study conducted in-depth interviews of seven parents with autistic adults and analyzed them using qualitative case study methods in order to understand overall meaning of care experiences of parents with autistic adult children. Thus, four key topics which are 'experience of embracement', 'experience of anticipation', 'experience of despair', 'experience of resistance' were constructed. Under these key topics, 12 subcategories which are 'accepting reality', 'positive experience', 'gradual improvement', 'desire to provide better quality of life', 'expectation towards the society', 'strenuous lives', 'psychological exhaustion', 'predicted anxiety', 'defensive attitude', 'distrust of social welfare', 'confronting injustice', 'active behaviors' were constructed. According to the analysis, care experiences of parents with autistic adults are not segmentary, but they are intertwined which make them more dynamic. Thus, easing their despair, empowering positiveness to them, and assisting them to have healthy resistant voice are needed to support the parents with autistic adults. Based on the analysis, we suggest an intervention plan to support autistic adults and their parents.
