Design and Implementation of JAIN SIP-based Softphone Client (JAIN SIP 기반 소프트폰 클라이언트의 설계 및 구현)

  • SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) has become an universal standard for multimedia communications for both wired and wireless networks since it has been adopted as a standard protocol for IMS platform in 3GPP standardization organization at November 2000. In this paper, we design and implement a SIP-based softphone client program which provides telephony service between internet users and a call center equipped with VoIP gateway. A softphone client based on PC-to-phone connection should guarantee to provide interoperability with various VoIP gateways and higher portability to be able to operate on different PC environments. The softphone client program in this paper has been developed with SIP 2.0 standard protocol to support interoperability and with JAIN SIP and JMF package to achieve higher portability.

  • In these days, the term 'snack culture' has been popularized as on of the tendency of new content consumption, and various related contents are introduced. This study is an analytical study related to the snack animation content based on the webtoon which can be considered as a representative snack culture content. The Purpose of this study is to investigate the frequency of use of transition techniques, which are importance for viewer to help to understand story by making space and time change in the moving image. To do this, I analyzed the each type of transition technique about the whole contents of NAVER's play webtoon, which is representative snack animation platform. Then I derived and contemplated the result of the analysis with a viewpoint of composition of shot. Through this process, I think this study could provide another basic data about snack animation contents which are not been studied enough yet.

Efficiency Low-Power Signal Processing for Multi-Channel LiDAR Sensor-Based Vehicle Detection Platform (멀티채널 LiDAR 센서 기반 차량 검출 플랫폼을 위한 효율적인 저전력 신호처리 기법)

  • The LiDAR sensor is attracting attention as a key sensor for autonomous driving vehicle. LiDAR sensor provides measured three-dimensional lengths within range using LASER. However, as much data is provided to the external system, it is difficult to process such data in an external system or processor of the vehicle. To resolve these issues, we develop integrated processing system for LiDAR sensor. The system is configured that client receives data from LiDAR sensor and processes data, server gathers data from clients and transmits integrated data in real-time. The test was carried out to ensure real-time processing of the system by changing the data acquisition, processing method and process driving method of process. As a result of the experiment, when receiving data from four LiDAR sensors, client and server process was operated using background or multi-core processing, the system response time of each client was about 13.2 ms and the server was about 12.6 ms.

  • Electroencephalograph(EEG) information, which is an important data of brain science, reflects various levels of information from the molecular level to the behavior and cognitive stages, and the explosively amplified information is provided at each stage. Therefore, EEG information is an intrinsic privacy area of an individual, which is important information to be protected. In this paper, we apply spring security to web based system of spring MVC (Model, View, Control) framework to build independent and lightweight server system with powerful security system. Through the proposal of the platform type EEG analysis system which enhances the security function, the web service security of the EEG information is enhanced and the privacy of the EEG information can be protected.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how China, which is the largest consumption area of Hallyu broadcasting contents but the most illegal copy market infringe the rights of domestic broadcasters and what of the policy of regulatory authority in this illegal market. To this end, this study investigate the most common types of paths and methods of copyright infringement in the Internet and mobile multi-platform environments, and investigated how broadcasters responded to them with in-depth interviews. As a result of research, the most frequent type of infringement of rights of reproduction were to use links with web and apps and TV pads. In this regard, it was not easy to solve the problem of illegal copy in China in the way that domestic companies responded to individually, and it was very rare that the lawsuit was filed. In the future, the government will need to provide side support for Korean Wave broadcasting contents through steady monitoring as well as market research for eradication of illegal copy.

REAL-TIME COLLISION RESPONSE BETWEEN CLOTH AND SPHERE OBJECT IN UNITY (유니티 게임 엔진에서의 구형 물체와 천 시뮬레이션간의 실시간 충돌 및 반응 처리 연구)

  • As the performance of computer hardware has been increased in recent years, more realistic computer generated objects can be created and presented in personal computers and portable digital devices as well. For this reason, digital contents, including computer graphics, require virtual objects that are more realistic and representable in real-time on various devices, thus it requires more computational costs. In order to support the production of contents including computer graphics, games, and animations on multi-platform, Unity or unreal engines are mainly used. To represent more realistic behavior of virtual objects in a simulation, a virtual object must collide with other virtual objects and present the plausible interaction, as in the real world. However, such dynamic simulation requires a large amount of computational cost, and most portable devices cannot provide these dynamic simulations in real-time. In this paper, we proposed a GPGPU computation based dynamic cloth simulation to represent collision and response with spherical object in real-time. We believe that the proposed method can be useful for readily producing realistic digital contents.

An Analytic Framework for the Political and Aesthetic Possibility of Interactive Documentary and Its Practice (인터랙티브 다큐멘터리의 정치적·미학적 가능성과 그 실천에 관한 분석틀 제안)

  • Interactive documentary refers to a new style of documentary that is created and accepted through active interaction. It is attracting attention as a platform that forms a public sphere and mediates audiences to participate in social change. However, the possibilities was not systematically explored, and there was insufficient consideration on how to realize them. In this paper, discussions on the political aesthetics of Walter Benjamin are examined, and the media characteristics of interactive documentary are analyzed through text mining. Then, by connecting the two to each other, we draw a map of the political and aesthetic possibilities, and based on the map, we analyze the actual works. This study has the value of establishing a theoretical framework for the possibilities of interactive documentaries. In the follow-up study, we will consider the practical strategy of interactive documentary as a transmedia activism and develop a practical analysis and planning methodology.

A Study of Unified Framework with Light Weight Artificial Intelligence Hardware for Broad range of Applications (다중 애플리케이션 처리를 위한 경량 인공지능 하드웨어 기반 통합 프레임워크 연구)

  • A lightweight artificial intelligence hardware has made great strides in many application areas. In general, a lightweight artificial intelligence system consist of lightweight artificial intelligence engine and preprocessor including feature selection, generation, extraction, and normalization. In order to achieve optimal performance in broad range of applications, lightweight artificial intelligence system needs to choose a good preprocessing function and set their respective hyper-parameters. This paper proposes a unified framework for a lightweight artificial intelligence system and utilization method for finding models with optimal performance to use on a given dataset. The proposed unified framework can easily generate a model combined with preprocessing functions and lightweight artificial intelligence engine. In performance evaluation using handwritten image dataset and fall detection dataset measured with inertial sensor, the proposed unified framework showed building optimal artificial intelligence models with over 90% test accuracy.

Automation System for Sharing CDM Data (CDM 데이터 공유를 위한 자동화 시스템)

  • As the need for sharing for research purposes in the medical field increases, the use of a Common Data Model (CDM) is increasing. However, when sharing CDM data, there are some problems in that access control and personal information in the data are not protected. In this paper, in order to solve this problem, access to CDM data is controlled by using an encryption method in a blockchain network, and information of CDM data is recorded to enable tracking. In addition, IPFS was used to share a large amount of CDM data, and Celery was used to automate the sharing process. In other words, we propose a multi-channel automation system in which the information required for CDM data sharing is shared by a trust-based technology, a distributed file system, and a message queue for automation. This aims to solve the problem of access control and personal information protection in the data that occur in the process of sharing CDM data.

  • Drones, which have rapidly grown along with the 4th industrial revolution, spread over industries and also widely used for military purposes. In recent wars in Europe, drones are being evaluated as a game changer on the battlefield, and their importance for military use is being highlighted. The Republic of Korea Army also planned drone-bot systems including various drones suitable for echelons and missions of the military as future defense forces. The keyword of these drone-bot systems is autonomy by artificial intelligence. In addition, common use of operating platforms is required for the rapid development of various types of drones. In this paper, we propose software framework that applies diverse artificial intelligence technologies such as multi-agent system, cognitive architecture and knowledge-based context reasoning for mission autonomy and common use of military drones.
