The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of individual teaching strategies on mathematics achievement and mathematics attitude of students with low achievement in mathematics. As a result, individual instruction group showed higher mathematics achievement and attitude toward mathematics than comparative group. In the experimental group, there was a correlation between pre-mathematics achievement and post-mathematics achievement. Also, there was a correlation between post-mathematics attitude and post-mathematics achievement. Within the comparison group, there was a correlation between pre-mathematics attitude and post-mathematics attitude. Also, there was a correlation between post-mathematics attitude and post-mathematics achievement.

The purpose of this research is to examine the factors correlated with adjustment to collage life of students such as their academic achievement and college life satisfaction. This research focuses on the relationship between values and college life satisfaction based on perspectives that individual values have close affinity with life satisfaction. For analyses, we used 5-years of information of college admission and GPAs of all students, and survey data of 671 students of C university. The results are as follows; 1) academic achievement is the highest among those with comprehensive school report admission-within the enrollment quota, 2) college life satisfaction is pertaining to specific values such as belief in justice, cooperation, and trust, 3) college life satisfaction is related with the satisfaction of overall educational environment. The results emphasize the importance of education of public values to enhance adjustment to college life of students.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of flipped learning strategy, which is an online offline convergence learning strategy becoming a hot issue, on students' learning styles..Ultimately, the goal is to analyze the academic achievements and learning attitudes by applying the flipped learning strategy considering the preferred learning styles of Korean students. By assuming that Korean students are accustomed to traditional lecture class, it is assumed that the students would have difficulty in applying the flipped learning strategy which involves information gathering and problem solving through discussion. In order to analyze whether the application of flipped learning strategy is effective, it is necessary to identify students' preferred learning style and to develop appropriate teaching strategies accordingly.

We analyse the relations between the academic achievement and the university admission factors among the class of 2011 at A university classified by sex and entrance test type. We can provide helpful tools for the university entrance policy by finding the intimate admission factors with academic achievement. We found that the university admission factors had effects on the academic achievement differently according to sex and entrance test type. Female students and regular admission achieved more than male students and occasional admission, respectively. Korea scholastic aptitude test had more effects on academic achievement for male students and regular admission type NA but academic achievement in high school life had more effects for female students and regular admission type DA.

본 연구는 팀기반학습을 활용한 교과목을 수강한 간호대학생 56명을 대상으로 동료평가와 학업성취도와의 관계에서 수업몰입의 매개효과를 검정하였다. 매개효과 분석은 PROCESS macro Program의 model 4를 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping)을 이용하여 검정하였다. 분석 결과는 첫째, 동료평가, 수업몰입과 학업성취도 간에 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 수업몰입은 동료평가가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 부분매개 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 동료평가가 간호대학생을 위한 TBL 과정에서 수업몰입과 팀워크를 촉진하고 궁극적으로 학업성취도를 향상시키는 효과적인 도구가 될 수 있음을 시사하며, 교수자가 학생의 학습성과를 개선할 수 있는 보다 효과적인 교육 전략 및 개입을 개발하는 데 도움이 될 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of teaching presence on academic achievement and learning satisfaction in the university online tutoring learning environment, and to find teaching methods for students' adaption of college life and their reinforcement of learning capabilities. In the study, the relationship between teaching presence, academic achievement and learning satisfaction were analyzed for those who participants in the tutoring program of the Busan D School OO Research Center during the first semester of 2021. As a result of the study, the relationship between teaching presence, academic achievement and learning satisfaction was indicated high correlation in the order of learning management, participation management and content structure of learning activities; the effect of teaching presence on academic achievement and learning satisfaction was found a significant effect in learning management, which is a sub-area of the tutees' learning activities. These results therefore suggest the direction of the operation process and method reflecting teaching presence, and provide an in-depth discussion on the learning management method that can improve the quality of the learner's learning experience in the learning environment.

The goal of the entrance examination models is to promote promising and potential students who are suitable for post-secondary education purposes. Recently, a promotion system based on the admissions supervisors has been the major role for the promotion of students. Various statistical models and methods should be applied for the better and reasonable promotion of promising Korean and international students. In this study, we applied the proper methods in statistical methodologies and show the meaningful results on the performance evaluation of the several entrance examination models for a university in Seoul, Korea.

This study investigated the relationship between learning strategies and achievements of the students in the department of health science, and differences between higher academic achievers and lower academic achievers in the use of the learning strategies. The results were as follows. First, there was a correlation between academic achievements and self-efficacy and power of execution in the personality area. Second, there was a positive correlation between academic achievements and academic motivation, a negative correlation between academic achievements and avoidnat motivation, in the motivation area. Third. there was a correlation between academic achievements and all 8 factors in the behavior area. In the use of learning strategies, there was a difference found in self-efficacy and the power of execution between the higher academic achievers and the lower academic achievers. It also was found that the lower academic achievers perceived more depression, showed remarkably lower motivation and higher avoidance motivation, than the higher academic achievers. Lastly, the lower academic achievers was lagged behind noticeably compared to the higher academic achievers in the ability of using all factors of the behavior area.

The purpose of the present study is to examine prediction of academic self-efficacy, perceived usefulness and ease of use on flow and academic achievement in community college education. For this study, D Community college in Korea was chosen and two survey were conducted. The subject were 114 engineering students who enrolled in the spring semester of 2010. The result of this study through multiple regression analysis indicated that academic self-efficacy predicted significantly on flow. But perceived usefulness and ease of use didn't predicted significantly on flow. Also, academic self-efficacy, perceived usefulness predicted significantly on academic achievement. But ease of use didn't predicted significantly on academic achievement. The result of this study suggested that academic self-efficacy, perceived usefulness should be considered for improving flow and academic achievement in community college education.

The purpose of this study was to explore the academic achievements, learning attitudes, and career compromising processes for successful undergraduate students in the College of Engineering. To achieve this goal, research was conducted to analyze whether there was a strong major-career connection among Engineering students of Seoul National University. Afterwards, differences in levels of academic achievement, learning attitude, and academic aspiration were analyzed between students who had achieved a major-career match and students who had not. As a result, it was found that the level of major-career connection was highly correlated to the level of academic achievement; furthermore, learning attitudes were strongly related to the level of motivation towards a high academic achievement, and influenced future learning attitudes as well. These findings suggest that further academic support, career guidance, and major switching policies are needed for undergraduate students in Colleges of Engineering.
