Data were collected by questionnaires from 216 TB chemotherapy as outpatients by visiting a "M" TB hospital located in the C city. Measures were self-care, health-belief(susceptibility and severity, benefit, barrier), and family support. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 19.0 version. The subjects' self-care score 3.76 out of 5. There were significant differences in self-care among the subjects due to gender, marital status, family structure with the subjects, average monthly income, smoking status, drinking status and period of taking TB drugs. There were significant correlations among benefit, barrier, family support, and self-care. According to the research, influencing factors on self-care in TB patients included family support, barrier, average monthly income, smoking status, and benefit. Findings from this study can be used as basic data to develop self-care programs for TB patients.

The data was collected throughout the time span of Dec. 1, 2020 to Feb. 15, 2021. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, & IPA matrix. As a result of this study, 'physical care' and 'psychological care' were part of the first quadrant that requires maintenance and continuous enhancement. The 'spiritual care' appeared to be in the third quadrant area which entails long-term improvement. Based on the outcome of the study, it is evident that strategies are needed to continuously maintain and enhance physical and psychological care as well establish long-term plans for spiritual care when organizing the hospice team's end-of-life care performance training program.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of HMD-based virtual reality core nursing skills training on nursing students' knowledge, performance, self-confidence, self-efficacy, and problem-s olving ability. The study participants were 45 fourth-year nursing students from a university in A city. The participants were assigned to either the experimental group (n = 21) who received VR core nursing skills related to blood transfusion training or the control group (n = 24) who received traditional training using mannequins. After completing core nursing skill training, the experimental group and the control group performed simulations including blood transfusion. Data was collected from October 3 to October 28, 2022. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-tests. The results showed that after the intervention, the experimental group had significantly higher knowledge scores than the control group (t=-2.13, p=.039). The control group had significantly higher self-confidence in performance than the experimental group (t=2.63, p=.012). There were no significant differences in performance, self-efficacy, or problem-solving ability between the two groups. Therefore, VR-based core nursing skills training can be usefully utilized for nursing students to learn the knowledge and procedures before performing them in real life, and traditional core nursing skills training using mannequins can lead to an increase in nursing students' confidence in performing the skills.
This study is a similar experimental study before and after non-equivalence control to examine the effect of fundamental nursing practice education applying reciprocal peer tutoring on confidence in performance, core nursing skills, and practice satisfaction of nursing students. Data collected by 83 people sophomore P university nursing students, the study period is from May 17 to 11 March 2019. As a results, the fundamental nursing practice education applied with the reciprocal peer tutoring method had an effect on the confidence in performance and core nursing skills of 'medium' degree of difficulty, and had a positive effect on the satisfaction of practice. In the future, this study suggests that the method of reciprocal peer teaching is extended to various practical majors and the effects of core nursing skills are tested.
This study aimed to examine the effects of simulation-based neonatal nursing care education on the communication competence, self-efficacy, clinical competency. A one-group pre-and post test design was used. A total of 122 students participate. Data was collected from May 3 to June 4, 2021, using self-report questionnaires only for students who understood the purpose of the study and gave written consent to participate. For the simulation-based neonatal nursing care education, a total of three steps of preparation for scenario implementation, scenario implementation, and debriefing were applied in groups of 3-4 people of 4.5 hours. As a result of this study, it was found that the simulation-based neonatal nursing care education had statistically significant improvement in communication competence, self-efficacy, clinical competency. Through the results of this study, it was confirmed that simulation-based education in the nursing care of children can be an effective teaching-learning method that can supplement the observation-oriented clinical practice of child nursing for nursing students.

From November 10 to November 20, 2021, 132 fourth-year nursing students 132 students in 4th year nursing department were surveyed using a convenience sampling. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA, Scheff'e test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Statistics 25.0. As a result of the study, factors affecting nursing professionalism were emotional intelligence(β=.46, p<.001), clinical performance (β=.18, p=.033), and clinical practice satisfaction(β=.18, p=.027) and the explanatory power of nursing professionals was 52%. Therefore, it is expected that it will be used as basic data for a program that can improve professional nursing values of nursing students through factors affecting professional nursing values.

The nursing skills tested in this study was tracheostomy suctioning in the Mosby's Nursing Skills. The design of the study was a control group non-synchronized pre-posttest quasi-experimental research. The experimental group who utilized the Mosby's Nursing Skills had significantly higher level of knowledge and skills of trachosotmy suctioning, but not of self-efficacy. Online accessible nursing skills program was shown to be effective in improving nursing skills of students, and it is suggested to utilize the program in nursing practicum.
The aim of this study was to compare perception between patient and nurse on comprehensive nursing care service using SERVQUAL model. To accomplish this goal, the 5 gaps of expectation-perception on comprehensive nursing care service was analyzed. The subjects were 192 nurses and 321 patients who admitted in comprehensive nursing care service wards. As results, patient's satisfaction was higher than patient's expectation and also nurse's performance. Therefore, we found that comprehensive nursing care service would contribute to perform holistic nursing care services in the future. To develop comprehensive nursing care service system sustainably, it needs continuous measurement of patient's expectation and satisfaction using conceptual model of this study.
