  • In this paper, we study the uniqueness problems of entire or meromorphic functions concerning differential polynomials that share one value with multiplicity using weighted sharing method. We prove two main theorems which generalize and improve the results of Fang and Fang [2], Dyavanal [1] and others and also solve the open problem posed by Dyavanal. This method yields some new results.

  • In this paper we deal with a sequence of positive linear operators ${{R_n}}^{[$\beta$]}$ approximating functions on the unbounded interval [0, $\infty$] which were firstly used by K. balazs and J. Szabados. We give pointwise estimates in the framework of polynomial weighted function spaces. Also we establish a Voronovskaja type theorem in the same weighted spaces for ${{K_n}}^{[$\beta$]}$ operators, representing the integral generalization in Kantorovich sense of the ${{R_n}}^{[$\beta$]}$.

  • We introduce a 2-variable weighted shift, denoted by $S_2$(a, b, c, d), which arises naturally from analytic function space theory. We investigate when it is subnormal, and compute the Berger measure of it when it is subnormal. And we apply the results to investigate the relationship among 2-variable subnormal, hyponormal and 2-hyponormal weighted shifts.

  • In this paper we shall prove some weighted norm inequalities of the form $${\int}_{R^n}\;|Tf(x)|^pu(x)dx\;{\leq}\;C_p\;{\int}_{R^n}\;|f(x)|^pNu(x)dx$$ for certain rough singular integral T and maximal singular integral $T^*$. Here u is a nonnegative measurable function on $R^n$ and N denotes some maximal operator. As a consequence, some vector valued inequalities for both T and $T^*$ are obtained. We shall also get a boundedness result of T on the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces.

  • Linear combination of weighted order statistic(LWOS) filters, which is an extension of stack filters, can represent any Boolean function(BF) or its extension. Which is called the extended BF(EBF). In this paper, we present a procedure for finding an LWOS filter of the simplest type from LWOS filters which are equivalent to a given BF or EBF. In addition, a property that is useful for implementing an LWOS filter is derived and an algorithm for LWOS filtering is presented.

  • We describe the weight functions for which Hardy's inequality of nonincreasing functions is satisfied. Further we characterize the pairs of weight functions $(w,v)$ for which the Laplace transform $\mathcal{L}f(x)={\int}^{\infty}_0e^{-xy}f(y)dy$, with monotone function $f$, is bounded from the weighted Lebesgue space $L^p(w)$ to $L^q(v)$.

  • This paper consider a new weighted model reduction using block diagonal solutions of Lyapunov inequalities. With the input and/or output weighting function, the stability of reduced order system is quaranteed and a priori error bound is proposed. to achieve this, after finding the solutions of two Lyapunov inequalities and balancing the full order system, we find the reduced order systems using the direct truncation and the singular perturbation approximation. The proposed method is compared with other existing methods using numerical example.

  • In this paper we introduce a class $h^{-\infty}_{\Phi}(\mathbb{B})$ of weighted spaces of harmonic functions in the unit ball $\mathbb{B}$ of $\mathbb{R}^n$. We dene weakly sufficient sets in this space and give an explicit construction of countable sets of such a type. Various examples of weight functions are also discussed.
